2/28/2024 Forvedge Residence, Willowton, Siesta City Morning - Clear Sky

First Person POV

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Troubled

News Anchor: "In the recent news that happened last night. A train has collided into another train which triggered the explosion in the Pacifica Square's Monorail Transit Station. Unfortunately, the explosion was so big, it has claimed hundreds of lives of people caught in the incident. However, some say that it was 88th Street causing this much ruckus again after their crimes revealed that they were responsible for setting off an explosive destruction at the Nashwood district. However once again, CEO and Commander of BlackSteel Bryce Glenbrook has appeared in the public to address this situation-"

I turned the TV off as I no longer have the interest to see it. The news media picked up on the incident of what happened at the transit station. The city's bound to get worse overtime if that Dead Apostle continues to make things harder for us. Honestly… I don't know what to do now. Plus… I remember her words when she spoke to me last night.

"Survive… Until that time comes. I will see you again…"

Those were her words that she spoke. Survive… Just what the hell do you mean by that? I don't get it… And here I am. Sitting on the couch just to be laid back and reading this manga I ordered from the online store last night. I'm surprised it came quickly but… This is the first volume of Chainsaw Man. Weirdly enough, Kanata was the one who recommended that I read it but I never got the chance. But after so long… I finally got my chance to read it. From my perspective. I'm at the part where Denji was killing this Zombie Devil and I gotta tell you… It's extremely violent. And It's badass.

"I see you're still reading, Ryuga?" Fiore asked her as she was standing to see me. I noticed as I decided to bookmark the page on the manga and sat normally, allowing Fiore to take a seat on the couch.

"Y-Yeah. I was thinking if you'd be interested in this manga. Maybe you'll like it?" I recommended it to her as she shook her head.

"Ahh, apologies. I don't have any interest in reading it. Even though it's violent, of course. But, I could pass it on to my brother if you want." Fiore asked me about the idea but I sweatdropped a little.

"Err… That's a pass. Anyways… I assume you want to talk to me?" I asked her as she nodded.

"I do. I heard what happened after your Servant talked to me about this whole monorail incident. Is it true that the Dead Apostle is responsible for it?" Fiore asked about it as I started to recall from last night. Yes… it was me, Caster, Saber, and Francis who were stopping Noel while the train was speeding fast. However, I had to waste one command seal to call out Rider in order to escape our impending death. I snapped back to reality as I looked at her. Though, she felt uneasy over what happened. Telling her everything would make her understand. But am I doing the right thing?

"Yea, that monster is responsible for it." I continued. "To think she would intentionally destroy the train controls in an attempt to get us killed in a crash. We survived but the others didn't. Wish we could have saved them but there was no other choice."

"I understand. Even sacrifices had to be made, Ryuga. I can feel your pain inside your heart, isn't it?" Fiore continued as she proceeded to get a little closer and felt my cheek with her hand. "Even if you have to endure this pain. Like a knife stabbed right into your chest. Just know that it wasn't your fault. After all, you have me. I'm willing to help your struggles and support you if things like death will grasp your very life."

She then let down her hand as she looked at me with her kindest smile. Saying that she would support me if things have gone to hell for me. All I've been doing in my life was fighting. Originally… I wanted to win the war and kill all the Masters. But along the way, I ended up making allies who wanted my help. Or rather… cooperating with Masters and Servants who are wanting to take down one enemy: Noel, the Dead Apostle. But if Noel dies by either me or any participants. This begs me the question as I envision the object of the Holy Grail in my mind. Once the war resumes as intended… Am I going to be forced to cut down the allies that I have made? Yet, these people have lives and desire a wish, their ambition that drives them forward. They'll refuse to give up until all Masters like me are dead and they'll receive their wish. Will I go back to the man I once was? To kill? But, I began to see the vision of my older sister Takami in my mind. That's right… I haven't forgotten about her. I see her in my dreams, telling me not to give up. That I should fight and receive my wish. That's right… my wish is to revive her but… I start to question if this is my goal that I'm going for. Is this truly the right choice that I'm choosing? Is it just one path that I'm walking on? Yet, I feel so unsure. Betraying the person you allied with can destroy their morality. In other words, they'll hate you. I had people hate me for living back in the past. And it still haunts me. Or rather… Was it trauma? But again… the death of my sister will not be in vain. I will find my sister's killer. That's one reason why I became a Master. But suddenly, my mind slips into the black void where I found myself floating in the air. I can't even speak. I can't think. I can't move. I can't feel it. Everything feels empty all around me. The only thing I can do is listen to the voices. The noises felt like it was submerged underwater. But there was no ocean above me. That is until…

"It's so pathetic. He's all alone and doesn't have friends! It's hilarious!"

"I bet he's a loner. Let's stay away from him. He creeps me out…"

"I think it's best if you don't talk to us…"

"Get away! You scare me! Go away! Don't talk to me!"

"Guys… let's talk somewhere else. I don't like him…"

The voices of the kids… I remember hearing them. It was the time when I was young. Being all alone from the rest of them. I couldn't even stand out. There were scribbled figures of kids with the deformed smile on their faces as they were looking at me. All of them. My mind hurts as it was in agony. The stress applied into my brain. But they continue talking negatively about me as the chatter becomes too crowded more and more as it starts to become a laugh as words appear from the black void.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[YOU]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[ARE]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[NOTHING]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[SUFFER]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[AND]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[SCREAM]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[IN]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA[AGONY]HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

As the laughters of the masses continue laughing among the crowd. The arms appeared in front of me as it started to grab my neck and proceeded to tighten me as I started to feel this pain swelling from my throat as I couldn't escape from it. They're still laughing. And they'll keep on laughing. I begin to feel the black veins crawling up from my skin as I can feel this fear grasping onto me. Forcing me to relive the experience of her death… The man with a knife. He was wearing a hood but his face was concealed in the shadows. But just as the man was prepared to take the hood off. I was suddenly brought back into reality where Fiore was still there, looking at me with her worried face.

"Are you… okay?" Fiore asked me as she was about to feel for my face again. But I used my hand to softly let her hand down.

"I'm fine. It's just that I had… Some quick flashbacks. Nothing too important." I said with reassurance as I continued. "So… this reminds me. Are you free at the moment? I know I'm speaking out of the blue but… I was thinking… Maybe you could umm… Maybe you could hang-"

"Master!" The voice of Rider speaks as she comes downstairs with her usual smile. Though, I feel like something has happened to her… again. And I can't believe she killed off the moment. "It has been three hours and you promised that you'll talk to me about last night."

"Ahh. Seems Rider wants to talk to you. And what is this about a promise?" Fiore asked.

"Well, it was from last night. So it's most likely some sort of our own recap." I said to her as she nodded to understand the reason.

"Very well, Ryuga. Don't be afraid if you wish to continue talking. I'll go back and clean the dishes." Fiore then stood up from the couch as she headed back to do her usual chore as Rider then sat next to me.

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Troubled

"Now then, Master… You promised that you'll speak with me about last night. So… Why did you waste your Command Seal?" Rider asked me. From my standpoint… Is she angry at me? Or just wanting to know why I did it. The answer is simple. I hate repeating the same shit twice.

"I had to summon you because the speeding train was going to collide into another train soon if we don't do anything. I needed you as some sort of an escape. If I didn't call you, I'd die." I explained to her. "Look, whatever I did to prioritize having my life saved first, I apologize."

"Apology accepted." Rider said. "Now… What happened."

"Me and Caster found a Dead Apostle hiding within the monorail train. We got locked in and it started moving. Then, there were corpses controlled by a Dead Apostle to impede us. However, her name was Noel. She somehow hijacked the train while we were trying to confront her. Well, I mean… attempting to kill her." I begin to recall these events as it flashes within my mind. "Then, there was the Master of Saber… His name was Francis Lucchini. He also has a Servant Saber as well. Despite our efforts, she fled. And… that's where it all led up."

"Huh… Interesting. So you failed to finish the final blow?" Rider assumed as I nodded.

"Pretty much. Now that I explained to you first. I want you to tell me what happened on the other side of the city. You said you were fighting against a group of Assassins? What happened?" I asked her side of the story as she was willing to report what she had experienced.

"During my patrol around the city. I was apparently ambushed by the Assassins in an attempt to strike me down. Unfortunately, they were no match for me until that particular Servant arrived." Rider explained about this moment as I wanted to know who that Servant is but… "Though, she calls herself Saber."

"A Saber-class Servant? I believe I met Saber with that red dress already but… Can you describe what she looks like?" I asked her what she thought.

"From what I can tell… Hmm… I believe this Saber has blonde long hair, a nice dress, a fancy looking hat, and most of all… wields that long pointy blade. Master? What is that weapon called?" Rider asked after describing the details to me.

"A rapier… So there is another Saber but this time wields a rapier. Caster is right… There are two Servants of the same class." I pondered upon this moment. To think there would be a Saber wielding a rapier? Does it even classify that Servant as a Saber-class? But, I continued. "Aside from the second Saber. Have you found out about the identity of the Assassin's Master?"

"Indeed. Though, it's rather weird to say… The Assassin's Master is actually a crow." Rider spoke as it brought me into confusion. What? "From the way I saw, the crow had Command Seals on its beak. Though, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to secure a kill on the bird while Saber was helping me."

"And that is where I eventually summoned you. There. That'll conclude our recap. Does this satisfy you?" I asked her.

"Of course. Now that we've finished talking. I can now fully forgive you. But… please don't waste your command seals again unless it's situational. Okay?" Rider said to me as I looked at my right hand to see my seal… Yup… that's one used. I got two uses left. If I use two more of them, that means I'm out as a Master and Rider disappears. Fine… I won't use my Command Seals again. No promises, though.

[PI PI PI! PI PI PI!]

I noticed hearing the noise from my pocket as I grabbed it out. Oh, it's my phone. And it appears that Francis is calling me. Yes… it's that guy. The Master of Saber whom I met last night during the train incident. I wonder why he wants to call me? Well whatever, I decided to answer his call.

"Hello? Is this on?" The voice of Francis spoke.

"Hey, Francis. Heard you called for me." I said to him as he spoke.

"Buon giorno, Ryuga! Say, think you got some free time today?" Francis continued. "If you do. I was thinking if you wanna have some small party at the beach. I know it's weird but Caster and her Master accepted my invitation. So there's me, Saber, Irina, Caster… And now. I was thinking if you and your Servant Rider would be down to join us? Pensaci."

Francis seems to want to invite us to the beach. But where. Plus, he even invited Caster and Irina. Don't know how he did it. But I guess it wouldn't hurt.

"Sure thing. I'll accept your invite. Can I also bring a friend with me?" I asked him on the phone.

"Grande! I don't mind if you can bring your friend. We just need this to be a small party and that's about it. But I'm not going to invite Svin nor where he currently lives in Siesta right now." Francis said with some small arrogance when he first mentioned Svin… I completely forgot about that guy. He's the Master of Berserker. Don't know what his Servant is but it's all a mystery. "Well anyways, I'll send you the location in your messenger. Until then, verderti!"

The phone call ends as he just hangs up on me. Well, not that it matters. Seems I'll be coming to his beach party that he came up with. But since I want to bring someone with me other than Rider… Now's my chance.

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Tranquility

"Hey, Fiore. Can I ask you?" I called her as she spoke through the kitchen.

"What is it?" Fiore asked.

"I was thinking. Uhh… You wanna come to the beach with me? I know it's not a lot to ask but a friend of mine wanted to host some small party. Think you'd be down for that?" I asked her kindly about this one. She has finished what she's doing.

"Sure, I don't mind either way. I've been staying home all by myself every time you head off every night. So this would be a good start to earn myself some break. After all, it's tough living alone, would you think?~" Fiore said to me as I saw her expression.

"I guess so, yeah." I stood up and continued. "Let's go. I'll lead the way since I'm the guy who has the location."

"Very well then, Prince Charming." Fiore then approached me as she used her arm to wrap around my right arm as I noticed. "I suggest you'll escort me to the beach?"

"S-Sure…" I said as I tried to hide my affection. Seriously… Prince Charming? Am I that handsome?

"Oh? It seems my Master has found true love? I think you should kiss." Rider teased me as I was rather annoyed.

"Shut up, Rider." I retorted as we all decided to leave the house and begin walking our way to the beach. No, not that beach in San Aldecado. I believe the Sanzaru Beach is located down southwest in a small district called Shinjima. Another Japanese-themed district. Just how large is this island exactly?

Sanzaru Beach, Shinjima, Siesta City Daytime - Clear Sky

Background Music | Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth OST - Joy

Minutes have passed where we took a cab to a location that we have never been there before. As we manage to get off the cab. We were met with a nice pristine beach next to an abandoned Japanese shrine entrance where there were stone steps and a red torii gate. Fiore was amazed to see how the place looks like located down southwest from here in this city. After all, Shinjima is a small district filled with residential homes and not-so-popular shopping areas. I looked around my surroundings where there were some beach setups like parasols, mats, a bench, relaxing chairs… and a volleyball court? Seems they were waiting for us. Francis, Saber, Irina, and True Caster. But I gotta say, they took their time well. Not to mention a grill there as well.

"Hey! Ryuga! You've arrived!" Richard called out for us as we arrived. "Seems you are right on time. Perfetto!"

"Aside from those small traffic delays. It wasn't a problem. It seems Irina and Caster arrived just as you said." I said to him as Irina simply talked in.

"Of course. Though, he almost died by my homunculus after he 'trespassed' my territory. But when he asked us to be invited to this… beach vacation. I was going to refuse but… I hate the sunlight… My Servant has been nagging and pushing me to join the beach." Irina said as she looked at her Servant as she chuckled a bit.

"Why of course.~ Besides, I understand that you're not a fan of the sunlight. Why not rest under the parasol as we take it from here. Okay?" True Caster said to her Master as she nodded.

"Y-Yes… A rest from the heat is much needed…" Irina said as she tirelessly headed to rest under the shade as I saw.

"Is she okay?" I asked the Servant.

"Don't worry. She's not too used to the heat. But I think the climate has changed. My, it's rather interesting." True Caster replied as I seemingly understand the situation that she's facing. Is the heat really weakening her?

"I almost forgot! All of you need a change of clothing! After all, this is a beach party. I… had to steal tons of beach swimsuits and bikinis from a nearby store that was already closed last night." Francis straight up spoke when he said that he had to steal something from the clothing store.

"W-Why would you want to do that!? Isn't it literally a crime!?" I exclaimed in confusion.

"Non preoccuparti!" Francis continued. "The rules of 'stealing' do not apply to the current rules of the Holy Grail War. But here in the daytime. We're strictly forbidden to attack during the day. Even Caster knows about it. Destro?"

"Ancora. I'm against the ways you've done. But I suppose you're doing all of us a favor when you bring us the things we need to relax. With everything set up… I suppose we can start this small… beach party." True Caster had to seemingly agree with me about this whole 'steal stuff from a store' type of deal.

"So… is this where you guys are doing without informing me? Let me guess, that Italian moron is being arrogant as usual, huh?" The voice spoke from behind us as we saw approaching us… it was Svin arriving alone much to Francis' chagrin.

"Grrr… Parla di tempismo terribile… Out of all places, cagnolino. You somehow managed to find us? I never invited you. And I never intended to invite you in the first place! How did you find out!?" Francis demanded to know as Svin finally approached face to face to meet him as their eyes clashed with each other.

"The scent. Regardless if you're that far. I'll always find you." Svin continued. "Plus, I heard you guys failed the stop the train last night. Can't believe you killed a lot of people for that."

"Fool!" Saber shouted as she spoke in. "Have you been blindsided? It was the Dead Apostle who hijacked the train and killed the innocent civilians upon our escape. Umu!~ It was the Dead Apostle's fault!"

"Uh huh… So you're saying the Dead Apostle is responsible, right?" Svin asked us as we all nodded except Irina who was sleeping. "Okay… I believe you."

"And what about you? Surely you are just hiding like a coward like a cagnolino you are." Francis lets out a cocky smirk on his face.

"U-Umm… Can we all stop fighting and get along with each other?" Fiore finally had her chance to talk as we all looked at her.

"Wait a sec… Aren't you Caules' big sister?" Svin completely noticed her as she nodded.

"Yes, that's me. I take it you met my brother before? If so, how's he been?" Fiore asked him as he replied.

"He's doing well. Studying hard at the Clock Tower as he always does. So uhh… What's your name again?" Svin asked her.

"Ahh. Call me Fiore. It's a pleasure to meet you…?" Fiore greeted him as she asked for his name.

"Svin. Can't believe that you've been living in this city, huh?" Svin said as he looked at me. "And I think we've met before. You're Ryuga, right? We met at the church when we were gathered here."

"Yeah. You're the Master of Berserker. I assume your Servant is not here?" I asked him about it as he shook his head.

"I told him to go into Spirit Form. So everything should be fine. As for him…" Svin then glared at Francis. "I smelled your scent as I said before… I gotta tell you. You smell like a heap of garbage."

G-Garbage!? You call me Garbage!? Spazzatura!? Oh that does it!" Francis continued as he proceeded to speak in his own language in slight anger. "Ti sventrerò come una gallina della Cornovaglia!"

"Uhh… What?" Svin said in confusion as he tilted his head.

"He said that he's going to gut you like a cornish game hen." True Caster translated to him what he exactly said.

"Oh, funny. I was thinking the same thing. I'll just cut your stomach so bad, your intestines will burst out." Svin insulted back at him as Fiore intervened.

"Please! I said no fighting! We are here to have a good beach vacation and that's final! And you." Fiore then looked at Francis. "We accepted your invite just to have a good time. So please don't ruin the moment."

"S-Si, signora…" Francis continued. "Ahem… Fiore, right? I am Francis Lucchini. Err… Sorry."

"Pay it no mind. Now then… Francis. You expect us to change to our summer wear?" Fiore said to him.

"Yeah. The bag's right here." Francis then pointed at it next to the parasol where Irina is sleeping. "Ladies first?"

"Oh? And you expect us to go first and watch us change? My, how lewd you are, giovane ragazzo.~" True Caster spoke as she teased him.

"I'm not lewd!" Francis retorted. "We'll change as well! However, Svin. While I never invited you… In order to prove that I'm better than you. There is one way to settle it…"

[FIVE MINUTES LATER…]

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Mass Destruction

[SMACK! THUD!]

The ball hits the ground…

"A game of pallavolo! A sport truly to prove to myself that you'll be defeated here!" Francis said as he was now in his swim trunks. Including me and Svin. But for some reason. Nero is on Francis' side and True Caster, Leonardo Di Vinci on Svin's side. Fiore didn't even change at all as she only wanted to watch. I sat by the bench to join her just to see how this volleyball battle would unfold. And Irina is still sleeping.

"Hmph. I'll let you get your first point. I'll defeat you to ensure that you'll know your place… Caster!" Svin then bumps the ball as Caster notices.

"Gotcha!" True Caster then sets the ball into the air. However, Svin had other plans. His eyes were glowing as something activates from within…

"Pollida Mors!" Svin chants his Magecraft as the blue phantasmal beast legs appear as he uses them to increase his speed to go close within range. He sprung up high as he proceeded to slam the ball right into the exact spot. "There!"

[SLAM!]

The ball was sent at high speed as it was about to touch the sand. Wait… is Svin using Beast Magecraft? Is it even allowed to use magecraft in volleyball? If so, would tennis apply?

[FWOOSH! THUD!]

The ball nearly hit Francis by the hair as the ball created a hard impact behind them much to his shock.

"H-Hey! Are you trying to kill me!? Cos'hai che non va!?" Francis barked in annoyance as Svin stretched his arms. "Plus! Magecraft isn't allowed!"

"So? I just needed an edge to win. Besides, That's not gonna change when I plan to beat you that easily." Svin replied casually as he didn't care. Francis was shaking his fist in anger as he looked at his Servant.

"Saber! If he wants to play dirty… Then we'll do the same!" Francis announced as his Servant seemed to agree.

"Umu! A valiant choice, Master! Let us show that we cannot be beaten!" Saber said with pride as the four were ready to duke it out with a ball. However, we were still watching as Rider was with us on the bench.

"Say, Master… What's even going on here?" Rider asked.

"Honestly… I don't know…" I sighed as I decided to rest on the bench as I grabbed out the manga of Chainsaw Man to continue reading from here.

"Seriously? Is there where you're all doing during the day?" The voice also joined in as we noticed. Wait, I know her. It's Bazett. The cold, serious looking magus. She is still wearing a suit as usual but she was accompanied by her Servant. So that's Caster… Another Caster I mean.

"I gotta say, Master. These guys are really butting heads in a game, huh?" Another Caster said as he simply observed.

"Huh? I never invited you two- HEY!" Francis noticed that the ball touched on their side of the ground.

"You shouldn't be looking the other way. Is this all you got? Pathetic." Svin taunted him as he was slightly angry.

"Caster… We are not to play this game of volleyball. Only to observe. To think they're enjoying themselves and using magecraft in broad daylight." Bazett lightly facepalmed. But, she looked at us. "I assume you're here to do the same?"

"Pretty much. I just wanna read this and be done with it… I think. Plus, you're Bazett, right? We met before at the church." I said to her as she responded.

"Yes, we have. While I'm not here to join your… frivolous parties at the beach. We only came to see what's going on." Bazett replied in a cold and uninteresting tone as she decided to sit on the other bench that was already there.

Back at the volleyball match. The four are still going neck and neck as we continue to watch. Guess I'll read this manga later. As Svin sets the ball into the air. It was True Caster's turn to spike but… She had her huge piston gauntlet on her right arm as she was ready.

"Here comes a fast one!~" True Caster was in the air as she punched the ball as the piston launched towards the ground… wait, was it? The ball instead goes towards…

"HEY, HEY, HEY! WH-" Another Caster was about to speak while a speeding volleyball was getting close to his face…

Background Music End

[SMACK!]

Another Caster was then launched back as he was spinning out as he crashed into the sandy ground as the fall out of the bounds.

"Yes! We got a point!" Francis cheered.

"O-Oops… I think Another Caster died?" True Caster noticed that she kinda messed up. Another Caster then slowly got up and groaned as Bazett noticed.

"You're not even human!" Svin added in while panicking right now.

"Caster! Are you okay!?" Bazett said to her Servant as he got up just fine.

Background Music | Persona 3 FES OST - Mass Destruction

"Don't worry, Master… I'm okay… Can't believe you somehow hit me in the face… You're gonna regret that, other Caster!" Another Caster was angry about it as he took off his clothing… revealing himself in his swimwear as he was dead serious… He really wants to join a game of volleyball, huh? "You there, Master of Saber! Give me your spot."

"Oh? Sure! Be my guest! Defeat my awful rival here, will you?" Francis said as he left the field, allowing Another Caster to take over.

"So you're my ally, then?" Saber asked him.

"That's right, lass." Another Caster continued as he grabbed the ball. "I'm going to teach them a lesson… Not to mess with me!"

Another Caster then imbues the ball in red energy as he tosses it in the air, leaping high as he proceeds to slam the ball in extreme speed.

[BOOM!]

"Haha! How'd you like that!" Another Caster then taunted them as both True Caster and Svin saw what he did.

"The hell! You just can't go all out!" Svin complained as Another Caster had his hand on his hip.

"Doesn't matter. You forced this upon yourself. So I'm not gonna hold back once I defeat you in a game." Another Caster replied as he was serious this time around. Bazett can be only seen with a facepalm and shaking her head in disapproval.

Meanwhile, we were watching until Francis joined us.

"Well now, it seems this Another Caster really did pack some punch. But good thing I get to relax and watch them play. Le mie braccia sono dolenti." Francis said as he sat with us.

"I'm not too sure about this. Svin is pitted against two Servants. And they're willing to go overpowered if things go out of control." I said to him as he seemed to brush it off as it's not a big deal.

"Don't worry, mio amico! He can use his petty Magecraft for all I care so we'll take on the Servants just fine!" Francis laughed as if he didn't care. However… Svin joins us.

"I'm tired…" Svin said as Francis noticed.

"Huh!? Why are you here!?" Francis complained.

"I just said I'm tired. I called out to my Servant to take over things from here." Svin explained as he pointed to his Servant Berserker… wait…

"Mio Dio!… He's holding a sword!" Francis exclaimed in utter shock. Now this is where shit will hit the fan tenfold.

[SMASH! THOOM! SLAM! BUMP! SLAP! THOOSH!]

It was a 2v2 Servant match of volleyball. And it just gets even more aggressive the more the match plays on. Francis… Svin… What have you two done?

"As if!" "Not happening!" "I've got the perfect angle!" "▂▂▃▃▅▅!"

The four Servants were going at it as the All-Servants Volleyball match lasted for hours on end. And all we did was to ignore them while the others watched. My day here at the beach has gotten very awkward. But it was still nice to enjoy ourselves from time to time.

[AN HOUR LATER]

Another hour has passed where the sun has begun to set. The sky was orange and the ocean of water remained serene. Irina had woken up after dealing with the heat for so long. However, she has decided to sit with us as she was seen drinking her favorite tomato juice as always. Francis was already at the grill as he was cooking up some steak to make some skewers, a tasty one. But I found myself here, still reading this manga to kill some time. I made it to a certain part of the page where the main character meets a woman who smiles. Though, I took a glance at the page where I would stare at it. But…

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Memories of the School

"Ryuga?" Fiore asked me as I lowered my manga down to look at her face.

"What is it?" I said to her as she had both hands clasp together on the bench table.

"You've been reading this Chainsaw Man for a long while, don't you think?" Fiore said as I didn't seem to realize as I decided to bookmark it again, placing it on the table.

"I mean… Yeah. That's the only thing that'll keep me entertained but… I just get the feeling that I'll get bored. The question still begs me to ask. Should I ever feel normal? Like, what even is there to speak, honestly." I proceeded to take a quick deep breath. "What about you? I saw you tend those plants up on the rooftop of your house. Have you ever tired yourself out doing these chores everyday?"

"It's not that stressful, to be honest." Fiore giggled. "After all, I never minded doing these things everyday. After all, living in this city felt like a paradise. But when you told me about a Holy Grail War happening here. I begin to worry and might think about moving back to New York."

"Don't be." I continued. "You took care of me and I'm responsible for the things I'm doing such as… Err… Killing?"

"You haven't killed anyone, have you?" Fiore asked me as my mind flashes back when I swung my knife at the living undead corpse at the train. My mind snaps back to reality.

"I… I have. My life was threatened and I had no choice but to defend myself." I spoke with a lie. "Again. This was entirely in self-defense."

"I understand you, Ryuga. Even if your life is threatened. This was your action. You protected yourself." Fiore then placed her hand on mine as I looked at her kind smile. "So… I know this is out of the blue but… Ryuga? What do you think of me?"

What do I think of her? This was the question that never came up in my mind. I never pay attention nor how I would act of my own accord. But why bring this up now? Does she want my answer? I can't ignore this but… I might as well speak up.

"A princess." There. I said it.

"P-Princess?" Fiore said suddenly with a small blush on her face.

"No… That's not right. Umm… Perhaps I'll just say this in a way you don't understand…" I continue to speak. "You're like Makima and I'm Denji."

"Really now? You really think I'm this… Makima?" Fiore said.

"It's more like…" I begin to explain based on the pages I saw from Chainsaw Man. "I wake up on the bench, smelling a fresh udon that you bought for me and yourself. I was starving, asking you if I could eat the udon. But you asked me if I can eat on my own. I can. Only to realize… I can't."

The vision in my mind begins to shift where I was him and Fiore was her. We were indeed on the bench. Then, the scene in my mind shows you feeding me a noodle, tasting the flavor for the first time.

"Then again… It was only a soggy noodle from the udon that you fed me. Sure, it tasted good. Yet, I feel like I was acting like a dog but… Perhaps. Perhaps it was just all about love at first sight. A boy meets a girl. Denji wanted Makima's affection. Her approval. She has full interest in him. An interest in this Denji-type of guy. And… And… Shit…" My mind snaps back to reality as I saw Fiore chuckling a little after I told her about how I feel. I messed up big time, did I?

"I can see why, Ryuga. Though, I'm a bit confused but I completely understand what you're trying to interpret of what's going on." Fiore then summarizes what I said as she condenses it in a small tl;dr way. "You said that you wanted some sort of affection and my approval. And said that I'm more into a guy-type like you. Isn't that right?"

"Yeah…" I replied.

"I see. Well then. I suppose I'll say this differently but… I'll ask you this. Do you like me?" Fiore immediately went on to say it, asking if I like her.

In my life when I was a kid. The girls never liked me because I was just an outsider, standing out differently than the rest. Whenever I tried to approach. No matter how many times I try to talk and act nice. They just get away from me. A typical loser from the past. But… I was rather afraid to admit saying yes…

"I do." I continued. "But as a friend."

"A friend, you say?" Fiore asked in surprise as I nodded. "I… I see. Well, I understand how you feel. Even though we've barely met ever since I provided you some room. But, I'm just happy that you're the only person who I can talk to. The one who can show this kindness. And that person is you, Ryuga."

"I am?" I said in curiosity.

"Of course, silly. After all, you've been fighting every night trying to prove yourself that you're a Master. That's more than enough to make yourself the person that you are. When you said that you struck a friendship with Fracnis. I can't help but smile. After all, I'm proud of how much you've become." Fiore said as I felt this sensation in my heart. "Though, after you invited me to the beach. I'm glad that I get to meet these kinds of people."

"T-Think nothing of it… We're just participants. Even though you used to be part of the magus family… Wouldn't the Association be-" She cuts off my voice.

"I know. And I'm fully aware of it." Fiore continued. "That's why I left magecraft and family behind. Doing so forced me to put a target behind my back. I moved to America to escape where they couldn't reach me there."

"You told me that before. But again, I believe you. To think you could live a normal life compared to mine." I then looked at the sun setting with the ocean while feeling the wind's breeze on my face. "Besides, to think that their lives are on a run. Whether it'd be a yakuza, gang members, or hell… even an organization. All these people wanted is to live and survive. Those are the two main components of life."

"Seems like it. However, Ryuga. Whenever you're feeling down or nearly driving yourself to the edge of sadness. The role of playing a Master will take a heavy toll on your life. So, I want you to listen to me." Fiore continued as she spoke her words to me. "So don't cry. Smile. Remember that I'll always be with you. Always."

Fiore reassured me and said it as she meant it. She wants to stay at my side. To be honest… I don't know what to say. I've always been alone since childhood. But Fiore was willing to rip this darkness away in my mind. But, I'm starting to understand this concept of love. In this term, she was my light in the darkened void. I never felt being loved or having a woman having this much interest in me. But, I want to call her a friend. I really do. Just as we were about to get along…

"Hey! Are you two done, lovebirds?" Francis called out for us as we instantly responded.

"W-We're not lovebirds!" Me and Fiore said in unison as we instantly looked at each other. But, Francis had already arrived with two beef skewers in hand.

"Now you are. Here. Enjoy this gustosa sorpresa. After all, I dabbled in cooking meat myself." Francis then handed it to us as we took it.

"So… cheers?" Fiore said to me.

"Yeah. Cheers." Me and Fiore proceeded to eat the meat as it was still hot. But the texture is good to say the least.

"Whole the sun is indeed setting. Why not discuss our plans on taking down the Dead Apostle?" Irina said as we looked at her.

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Troubled

"Ugh… Last time we did, we failed to kill her." Francis recalls these such events where Noel has escaped from us. "While my Saber managed to provide some sort of small distraction and allowed me the chance to purge her with my Light Magecraft. But she somehow resisted it as if she built some sort of tolerance."

"Umu. My Praetor did a masterful job on nearly killing her but it was not enough. Soon, we will find her and slay her in order to secure an additional Seal! Master! You should be praised!" Saber pridefully said to her Master as he sighed.

"Onestamente… Should I even be praised for once? What of you, Bazett. Any progress on your search?" Francis asked her as both her and Another Caster joined the discussion. But she isn't happy to talk with us.

"I have not. Side from the train incident that the vampire has caused. Caster has been on a careful lookout for her." Bazett then looked at her gloved hand as she tightened her grip. "The Dead Apostles are not to be trifled with. Even with my fist and Magecraft. It won't be effective to kill her, even if I go all out."

"So… in other terms… We just need our Servants to kill her." I spoke. "Rider. Think you have some confidence?"

"I certainly do, Master. We just need to be careful if she tries to use this craft in some sense." Rider replied.

"And don't forget about those corpses that Noel was using." True Caster continued. "While they seem to be threatening depending on how much they swarm us when me and Ryuge were on the train. They can be seemingly killed easily. After all, these things were once human."

I remember. The corpses… Honestly, she was right. They're no longer human. The only choice you can currently make is to put them out of misery. The fastest way you can do is to basically burn them. But to think that we're already working together in a place like this… Is this Francis' plan all along? I really don't know.

"Say, Master. Think we're going to come up with a plan? I think this Italian dude knows what he's doing." Another Caster said to his Master as she sighed.

"I hope he does. Otherwise, he's going to waste my-" Bazett was interrupted as Francis then snapped his finger as it was decided.

"Okay! It's decided!" Francis announced. "Since Bazett likes to work alone. I'll let her do that."

"Good. That's what I was going to do anyway. I don't have time to join a group such as that. Caster. We're leaving…" Bazett as Another Caster nodded and followed her as we all watched.

"You didn't give her a specific task…" I said to him as he shrugged.

"Don't worry, she knows. After all, we don't even know who she is. Unless…" Francis and all of us looked at Svin.

"What?" Svin said.

"Unless you know her, of course." I said to him with a straightforward face.

"Nope. Don't know her. Can we get on with the plan already?" Svin sighed as he was getting a little impatient.

"Fine, fine. You're like an impatient dog, honestly." Francis mocked him.

"I'm not a dog!" Svin retorted.

"Ahem! Me and Saber here will try to venture into these underground subway tunnels that the city left unfinished. It's at the Pacifica Square when I first saw it. So don't worry about me. What of you, Svin Glaschiet?" Francis asked him as he stood up and proceeded to leave.

"I might as well roam the area through the night. I wasn't able to settle the score with that other Archer. If a Dead Apostle stands in my way, I'll have Berserker get rid of her. Berserker. We're going." Svin said as his Servant goes back into Spirit Form as the Master uses his Beast Magecraft to speed off to make his leave.

"È veramente uno sciocco…" Francis said as he watched him leave and looked at us. "What about you guys?"

"I was going to escort Fiore here back home since night is approaching very soon. After all, she needs our protection." I said to him as he seemingly understands.

"I can see why. She's not a Master nor a Magus." Francis said as Fiore spoke in to correct him.

"Ex-magus." Fiore said.

"Right… Ex-magus…" Francis replied and looked at Irina along with her Servant. "And you?"

"Irina needs my protection to remain at home. After all, I can't let her die, now do I?" True Caster said with a wink on her face.

"Right right… Anyways, I guess that's the plan for the night?" Francis asked.

"Not really. Once we finish those. Then we'll help you out in a search for that Dead Apostle." I reassured him as he seemingly agreed.

"Okay, I do see your point. The safety of these two must come first. So I suppose I'll go ahead and begin my search. Ryuga, since I have you on my phone. I'll try to either call or message you once I'm able to provide some updates. Irina… you don't have a phone, do you?" Francis asked her as she shook her head.

"I have no need for it. My Servant's mechanical birds are already deployed all throughout the city. So my Servant can pretty much hear and see anything." Irina continued. "Now then… run along, Francis. Ryuga, Fiore? Please escort me."

"Whatever you say, Princess." I said with sarcasm as she stammered over my words.

"P-Princess!? Such words like that are not necessary! Now, let's move while the sun sets." Irina told us as we both sweatdrop but me and Fiore have decided to escort her back to home as Francis and Saber split up while True Caster and Rider follow us in tow.

To be honest, hanging out at the beach to meet some Masters at a time like this was an interesting experience. I let out a small smile on my face as we were just escorting her back home so I can get back and help the Masters deal with the single threat. Sure, there are going to be some Servants that are not completely aware. When that happens, should they attack? Might as well put them down. For now, another night begins.

Forests, Asphodel, Siesta City Midnight - Clear Sky

Third Person POV

Background Music | Persona 3 OST - Just Like This…

Meanwhile somewhere in the forests outside of their fort in the Asphodel district. True Lancer in her dragon form hovers to land on the ground as the wind generated by her was blowing the trees all around her. But the thrusters start to power down as the stomach opens up from the golden light. Revealing to be Bryce as he came here with his own Servant since he was invited by a certain someone who was waiting for him.

"I know you're out there, Anjin Takaya. So stop hiding in the trees and show yourself to me." Bryce demanded as he saw a person coming right out of the shadows. It was a shirtless man wearing torn jeans as his chest, arms, and back were tattooed all over. He had long ash blonde hair and auburn eyes. He even had a facial beard that is not long but slightly visibly shown. And, he has his silver revolver holstered tightly on his front jeans.

"You know why I called you out here, Bryce. The higher ups told me that you've been working behind the scenes while killing off a few magi every night. Speak." Anjin demanded.

"Ahh, so you're quite interested in my plans, have you? Guess the Phantom Society that we work for has surely caught their interest. Aside from the usual American government, that is." Bryce continued as he raised his hands into the air and looked at the stars. "The era is waning. We all know that. I've always wanted to find a solution and present it to the government. Something that you'd… never understand."

"Go on…" Anjin said as he looked at him with a keenful look on his face.

"My plan is… Simple. To advance the world's technology through the wonders of Magecraft! The technology we use is severely underwhelming. The weapons we use are lacking. But ever since I went to the Clock Tower to study… This piqued my interest even more. Which is why I intend to have the American government use Magecraft as a new norm of technology. Think about it! With the weapons powered by magecraft, we could dominate the arms race! Not even the countries' rivals couldn't keep up." Bryce explained the whole idea about revealing Magecraft to the world as a new form of technology. Anjin however… didn't agree to it.

"Revealing Magecraft to the world will mark a huge target on your back. Why go this far to reveal it so soon?" Anjin asked.

"Why do you ask? You and I… we're part of this organization that answers to the government. The current situation going on in our country is at risk here. Sure, the Phantom Society would do nothing but to watch the whole state burn. I myself, a CEO and Commander of my own PMC. And you? You're just a higher ranking member working for them. You're a bloody magi, aren't you? Did you already get your Command Seals? If so… Why aim to use the Grail this soon? Did you even find it?" Bryce said to him as he pondered his ridiculous idea.

"I have not. But this is none of your concern. I do not agree with your idea of sharing magecraft to the world. Or better yet, you don't believe in salvation at all." Anjin was rather disappointed in him but Bryce decided to act like an asshole for one.

"Salvation this… Salvation that… Please, shut up with your shit. Look, we know that we're working together to see this war through. How about we go our own ways. On the second note, I hear you're hiding something from us. Are you?" Bryce asked him as he remained silent… "Well, not trying to pry or anything. Fine, be that way. I shall leave you to your own devices. Go forth and bloody the world with your own glorious and twisted salvation."

Bryce then turns around as he prepares to turn and leave. But, Anjin speaks.

"…While you do what, precisely?" Anjin asked the leader of the PMC as he stopped and heard his words. He then turns around with his usual smug on his face.

"Need you ask? I will be doing what I'm supposed to do. Now then… If you'll excuse me… Lancer. Time to leave." Bryce said to his Servant as her stomach is still open.

"Of course, Master. I tire of this whelp anyways." True Lancer replied as he entered the stomach as he stood in a seat and resumed control.

"Oh and. One more thing, Anjin." Bryce said as Lancer's thrusters began to wind up as it got louder and louder. "It's best for you to stay out of our way and let the professionals get our hands dirty! All for the sake of cleaning the world!"

The dragon's stomach closes up as it proceeds to fly away into the sky as Anjin watches. Just as that, it was quiet again. But, Anjin had a smile as he had better plans.

"I assume you have your own plans, Master? If so, it's best to play your cards right. Destruction will be soon at hand." The voice of a woman spoke to him within his mind. He simply chuckled.

"Don't be, Avenger. Everything's going to be alright. After all… My plans to draw forth salvation are near. And the world will finally end as we know it." Anjin then brings out a particular card he held in his hand… Something he had kept to himself for the longest time since ten years ago. It was a Class Card with a particular role as he saw it with his own eyes. "So for now… I'll keep my head low until that time comes… Your role has yet to be played."

Anjin then puts his card away as he leaves within the forests, disappearing in the dark.

Background Music End

Sumaru Temple, New Hiroshima, Siesta City Midnight - Clear Sky

Meanwhile somewhere within the large Japanese temple within the district of New Hiroshima. A particular Saber-class Servant who wore a hat and her rapier sheathed as she entered inside the main temple where the room was dimly lit with candles where a young woman wearing a traditional japanese kimono with fancy sakura petal texture. She was seen praying to a deity statue where she remained calm as there were other people who were kneeling on the floor, making a path for the Servant.

"Master Chihiro. I have returned." Saber called out for her Master as she proceeded to graciously bow. The young woman had longer brown hair and blue eyes as she stood up and turned around to see her.

"Saber. You've returned. I assume you have finished your reconnaissance?" The young woman Chihiro said to her as she nodded.

"I have. Upon my second reconnaissance that started with me observing at the beach in Shinjima. I can confirm that Rider's Master is confirmed to be Ryuga. He is apparently the Master of True Rider as I speak." Saber informed her as she let her mouth open in realization.

"Ryuga… I see… So he summoned my Servant I intended to use…" Chihiro said as she was surprised for a little moment. "So… he was rumored to be alive after all…"

"Master? Are you displeased with me?" Saber asked.

"N-No. I'm not. I'm more than happy to have you for this Holy Grail War. This is something that the Nishizono Family Alliance's heir must do to uphold. Thank you, Saber. Do… Do you mind going into Spirit Form for a moment? I must give myself thoughts." Chihiro commands her Servant as she nodded, disappearing into thin air. She then turned around and kneeled on the floor. However, she begins to ponder upon this moment. As if years had passed for her and she had forgotten about it up until now. "So you are alive, Ryuga. I hope to see you but… When the time comes, we will hopefully meet."

Then, the door opens where another woman with long side ponytailed hair and long side bangs arrives covered in shadows. She wore a combat uniform with a coat over her like a cape with designs mixed between traditional and imperial military. She also wields a sheathed thin nodachi.

"Sister… I heard rumors. Is it true?" Chihiro's older sister said to her.

"Yes, Chifuyu… He's alive. But for now, you must rest." Chihiro said to her sister as she nodded and went the other way to get some rest.

She remained calm as she pondered the thought. Should the two ever meet. What is it that she wants? Thus, everything is unknown at the time. But the night begins as usual. The Dead Apostle runs amok. Now, all she can do… is pray.

[TO BE CONTINUED…]

Author's Notes: Thanks for reading the chapter. This chapter was a little bit long to make but all and all. It was worth it. Now, this is just a filler chapter all about volleyball. It also continues the story of the character's usual motive while introducing a few characters that finally made an appearance. Anjin Takaya is a mysterious person working for Phantom Society, a secretive organization that only answers to the government. On top of that, he even has a Servant known as Avenger. Though it is unknown at the time of who it is. Next is the sisters, Chihiro and Chifuyu Nishizono. They appear to be part of the Nishizono magi family while running the alliance they have created in Japan. But, it seems the sister has some connections with Ryuga. Again, everything will be a mystery at the time. So I can't reveal it just yet. So when the time is right. You'll know. The next chapter… Wait a sec… I know what you're thinking. You're going to expect some romance stuff, huh? Well, think again. The next chapter will hit hard in some ways you'll never expect. For now, look forward to what's next. Until then, see you.
