Once they said their goodbyes, he headed inside to see Takamichi bouncing up and down, stumbling a few times before recovering. He was getting better at the whole standing and walking thing. Soon enough, he would be running around and raising havoc. He was already trying to crawl into counters and drawers whenever they practiced walking in the kitchen. Smiling at the thought, he picked him up, smiling. "Hey buddy, what are you up to?"
"Nuttin!" The boy said, giggling as he clung to his father, burying his face in his shoulder. "I bored. And hungy!"
"You're hungry, huh? Now that is a crime. Let's see what mommy and the others are up to." He turned to Shizuku, blushing as he kissed her cheek. "You should probably put that blanket away. Whatever that was used for."
She shrugged but went to put it away as Chiyako smiled slightly. "Thanks for taking over. I think he snuck a bit of sugar and he's been trying to bounce ever since. Most of the time he's just landing on his butt but he's about as determined as his father."
"And just as stubborn." Murasaki said, walking in and kissing their son on the head before raising an eyebrow. "So, do we get to find out what happened or are you going to leave us in suspense." When she shrugged, she put her hands on her hips. "Oh, no you don't! I want to hear it and I want to hear it right now."
"Uh oh," Takamichi said, wiggling, as if to escape his mom's wrath. Luckily, the annoyance was directed at Karaat, not at the boy. This time. He was slowly learning to be a bit of a menace so he would probably get that look from his mom or the deadlies eventually.
"We found Pucci." He said, smiling as he held him close. "He's safe. He was in the universe we went to when Valentine teleported us. Well technically he was in a pocket dimension within that universe but I figured you would want a simpler explanation." When she nodded, he smiled. "We got to meet that universe's version of you. You helped us as well. It was kind of endearing. She even asked me if she was a good wife in this universe, and a good mother." He paused before glancing over. "Is that something you worry about?"
Hesitating, she blushed and muttered, "I think that's something every wife and mother worry about." She smiled as Takamichi was wiggling in his father's arms. "But, it's pretty clear I'm doing a somewhat decent job. Dinner's almost ready. Why don't you get the kids ready while we finish up."
"Ma'am, yes, Ma'am." He turned to his son and kissed his forehead. "Alright, Taka. You heard the boss. Time to clean up for dinner. And we have to find your sister. Both of you need to get washed up and make sure none of you left a surprise in your pants for any of us."
"Oh! Karaat, you're back." Kotoha said, smiling. "She's in her play pen. If you want, I can help?" When he nodded, she grinned and kissed him. "Good! I'll meet you in the main bathroom."
"Sounds like a plan. Let's go, Taka." As he squealed in delight, Karaat carried him upstairs, trying not to think about the yummy food he could smell downstairs. Or the fact that soon, he would be with his girls and kids, enjoying yet another amazing dinner. And that, finally, things had come to a close.
The bathroom in question was one of the biggest in the house, other than the master bathroom. In their house they had four bathrooms in total, which was a relief because even with that many, mornings could be a nightmare to get ready. He sat on a stool, washing Takamichi's hands and face, knowing they would probably need to be washed again after dinner. Knowing him, his whole body might need to be washed. One time, they found rice behind his ear. He didn't even dare question how his son had managed that.
He looked up as Kotoha walked in, carrying his daughter, Miyuki who was making cute sounds as she looked around. Takamichi looked a lot like him, with his hair color and eye color. According to Murasaki, he also had the same face he made when he was concentrating really hard. He wasn't sure if that was true, though maybe she was right. He did seem to be thinking really hard a few days ago when trying to figure out if the star should go in the square slot or the circle slot.
Miyuki had his smile, according to Nene. And that one he could kind of see. Luckily, she looked more like Nene. Her giggles definitely reminded him of Nene's, though she tried to deny it whenever he brought it up with her. He usually proved it though by tickling Nene as soon as he could to get those giggles out of her.
Eventually, they were both sitting on stools, making sure they were clean and spending a little bit of time alone before the dinner that was always loud and full of people talking. He didn't mind it and he definitely wouldn't want anything to change. Though sometimes, he really appreciated the moments of peace and serenity. Well as peaceful as you could get with two kids that clearly wanted some kind of food but also attention at the same time.
"I hear you found Pucci. I wonder how he'll adjust, given he's been gone for a whole year." Kotoha said, glancing over at Karaat.
"Kars said he's going to help him. And I'm sure they'll visit once in a while. If Pucci isn't busy doing priest stuff." He shrugged, not really sure what Pucci would do. Probably resting for now, though he probably got lots of rest in the pocket dimension. "I'm just glad we found him. I was worried we might never find him with how successful the other universes had been."
"I know. We could tell." She smiled when Karaat turned to her. "You try to hide your emotions but we know you well enough to read you like a book. You were worried for him. But he's safe now. Everyone is. I would say that's the best ending we could ask for."
"True, it could have been way worse. I may not have all of this. I was grateful for Murasaki, but having all of you here, it really is a miracle. Murasaki, the deadlies, even my kids. I'm really grateful for everything."
"Speaking of, I heard for Shizuku that you have plans to make more kids. One with all of us?" Kotoha said, smirking slightly as he blushed. "Hey, news gets around fast. You really think that wasn't going to come out at one point?"
"Oh, I know. But, yes, if everyone is willing. I know not right away. I know a lot of you want to focus on your careers and schooling. And I definitely don't like the idea of having multiple kids all around the same age. We already got three that's going to within a year or so of each other."
"True," she said, thinking to herself. "Hmm, well, I agree. We definitely shouldn't all get pregnant at the same time. Though," She hesitated, lowering her voice to a whisper, as if the kids would understand what she's saying. "With how big you are and how much you cum, we might not be able to prevent that."
Karaat glanced over and smirked slightly. "True. Though I'm not hearing complaints?" When she blushed and shook her head, he got up. "Come on. I think I smell a stink bomb, from both of them." As Kotoha groaned, he laughed softly and said, "Maybe Murasaki was right. You're both becoming menaces." When they giggled in response, he smirked and led the way to the nursery.
