AN: I was inspired by Saints-Fan-12 commission for me called Fall For You. Where Randy starts working direction under Proton and the two get closer that way. That's for the inspiration!

The brown male squirrel let out a deep sigh before exiting his beat-up pickup truck, and attempting to straighten his tie before heading towards the office building where he was about begin his new position. He tried standing taller than normal to hide the worry that had built up inside him, over the past week, stemming from him being informed he was being moved into this new job due to his slow recovery from a back injury he suffered during his general laborer position at Electro Construction. Since his twin sister was about to marry the companies' owners only son, Randy now found himself getting so called preferential treatment in now being made his sister's father-in-law's new personal assistance. This, of course, was to help free up his secretary for more important work, and leaving the lesser ass wiping issues for Randy to deal with, and of course give him minimum duties to aid in his recovery.

The young man couldn't complain about the large pay boost, and working in a nice office with oh so many perks, but still found himself out of place even as he reached out to open one of the large glass entryway doors as the sun beamed out brightly and made the building seem to shine. The snow-covered lawn areas only added to this breath taking, yet blinding, sight.

Randy walked up to the security desk and pulled out some folded-up paperwork getting a questioning look from both security officials as he was technically a new hire to this location. The two large ox males talked to each other away from Randy before turning around then handing him his badge for the building.

"Welcome, Mr. Cheeks." The larger of the two stated before both of them took their seats again.

"Uh. Thank ya." Randy smiled as the two men now ignored him as if he'd never came through the doors. "Friendly bunch." Randy sighed to himself sarcastically as he made his way to the elevator and used his badge to get it to operate. The squirrel then pressed for the 5th floor and was shocked that he needed to scan his badge again. "It's really locked down here." He thought as more unease set in on him.

Randy shifted uncomfortable as the elevator moved up. He'd talked to his new boss more than a few times, but always found Proton terrifying, yet still incredibly impressive. For a man like him to talk to such a powerful individual made him feel weak... like nothing, but he did take a small amount of joy in the fact Proton was always kind to him in their short interactions. "He was only nice cause muh sister married his son. Now that I'm gonna be working right under him, he likely ain't gonna be so nice." Randy rubbed his hands together with worry as his cheap suit felt foreign and uncomfortably on him. "Don't screw dis up!" Randy mumbled under his breath, as the elevator doors started to open, trying to pump himself up to do a good job for at least his first day.

Randy slowed his stroll around the large top floor before finally seeing the office door he'd been looking for. "Proton Electro." He lightly said out loud while taking in the impressive extra large hardwood door, right behind and extra-large secretary's desk. The lavish molding around the office door, and bold sign, drew Randy into a light trance.

"Mr. Cheeks?!" A female squirrel called out while approaching the secretary's desk, from behind him, and then casting a harsh glare. "I was hoping you'd be here an hour ago." She stated coldly as her breast bounced as she sat down in her seat obviously annoyed. Her mainly red fur was speckled with some brown and yellow. The female was obviously a bit older than him, but also likely much younger than their shared boss. "There is much we need to go over and Mr. Electro will be in any minute!" She continued to scold.

"I uh..." Randy took a deep breath before now fiddling with his tie, he wasn't use to wearing, as he tried to defend himself as he was told to come in at this time. "I'm sorry, but I was told ta get ta work by 7, and it's 6:50. I thought I was doing good by showing up early." Randy spoke while looking down like a guilty child.

"Mr. Cheeks!" The woman laughed mockingly. "You're new to this job, and there is much to learn! I guess I'll have to take time away from my real tasks to fill you in..." She scoffed while turning her head to look away from Randy dramatically again, only causing her very fake breast to bounce again, as she ran one of her hands through her long, dyed blond hair. "Mr. Electro won't be pleased by this slip up." She smirked at him before standing up again and guesting for Randy to follow her.

"What a cunt." Was Randy first thought about the woman, that was his other half at work, as they both needed to aid in their boss's daily work.

Randy took notes on how Proton liked his coffee, and the places he preferred for lunch, and what his usual requests were. Half the time Randy couldn't write it down fast enough, but when he asked her to repeat herself, she just smiled mockingly and continued. The brown male squirrel was now more than aware that his so-called counterpart hated him. "She doesn't even know me! Why does she hate me so much?!" Randy rolled around his head as they headed back to her desk and was imminently met by Proton Electro.

"Good morning, Mr. Electro!" The female purred out as she changed her mood a whole 180 degrees as she leaned against her desk showing off her large breast as her prominent boss approached her. "Please forgive me for not getting started on as much as I hoped for as your new assistant showed up later than I'd hoped." The woman gave Proton a seductive frown that the elite man seemed to ignore.

"Morning." Randy chimed in now feeling awkward as Proton turned his full attention to the male squirrel.

"Good morning, Randall!" Proton called our happily as he unlocked his office. "Please come in my office with my morning coffee." The head of the company spoke unaware of the scornful look his secretary of the past ten years just gave his new helper.

"Ok!" Randy replayed, but guilt couldn't hold him out for professing the truth after shutting the large door to his office. "But she made dis fer ya... I was taking notes, but I ain't sure I got 'em all." Randy brought up more than a little embarrassed as he set his bosses caffeinated drink on the coaster on the older man's desk.

"Randall." Proton spoke bluntly after taking a sip of his coffee then setting it down to look at the man he'd just hired for the sake of his son's new family, but far more likely because off many thoughts floating around in the back of his mind. "Jessica Flowers isn't your boss. I'm your boss. Miss Flowers is just your co-worker." Proton took another sip of coffee as he pressed a button on his desk to make the large curtains behind him open up and bring in the illuminating morning sunrays into his office. "I'll train you on what I am expecting of you, not her. Do you understand?" The head of the company asked while placing down his coffee cup once again.

"Yes, sir!" Randy replied despite being very unsure of things. "I just..." Randy now slouched a bit and looked at his newest so called hero honestly with doubt. "I'm real thankful ya gave me dis job, but I'm worried I can't..." Randy muttered to himself for a minute before pulling up his head up and looking Proton dead in the eyes. "I'm gonna try as hard as I can. I really am." Randy assured now feeling like less of a man for admitting his insecurities to a man far more superior than him.

"I know you will, Randall." Proton now smiled. "However, now you need to take some time to visit Alexa in HR so you can get all the proper training and documents done for your new position." Proton continued to smile but stopped Randy after he stood up. "Forgive me, but as a welcome gift I've order and paid for your lunch for you... so long as you wouldn't mind joining me at noon in here..." Proton suggested. "Your sister told me your tastes, so I'm honestly hoping it will be to your liking." The older kept up his cheerful mood.

"I'd love dat, but I don't want make ya think ya gotta spoi-" Randy tried to speak but was cut off

"I insist!" Proton jumped in. "I thought it might be nice to get to know each other better as we are now working so close together... that is... if you don't mind." The head of the Electro house tried to keep his poker face but could already feel if faltering as he begged the younger man to spend time with him.

"Yeah!" Randy said with a full-on smile. "I'd really like dat!"

"Amazing!" Proton clapped his hands together, once, with joy. "I'll see you in four hours." The older man continued to grin as Randy made his way out of the elder Electro's office and off to the HR department.

Randy made his way out of one of the HR departments training rooms at five minutes until eleven. The still youthful squirrel was honestly shocked that he still wasn't done with all the required training as he had worked for the company several months, and was only new to the office environment and not the company as a whole. At least he had a free lunch to look forward to, even if it meant him being trapped in close quarter to his new boss that somewhat terrified him. "Get use ta it." He thought to himself as a large breath left his lungs once Proton's office door was in sight.

Jessica, Proton's secretary, gave Randy an annoyed glare as she stood up and retrieved her purse from her larger desk drawer. "Mr. Electro's expecting you." She then grabbed her coat and quickly put it on before stomping off to likely enjoy her own lunch hour.

"Thanks." Randy called at her but wasn't the least bit surprised that she completely ignored him as she continued her exit of the current office's buildings top floor. "Ya fucking, bitch." Randy muttered the last part to himself while keeping the fake smile on his face.

"Randall!" Proton greeted his new employee as the younger man entered his office. The small table that Proton stood by caught Randy's eyes as it hadn't been there earlier. On it two full plates sat, as well as some large glass goblets. "Please, have a seat!" The head of the company encouraged while pulling out a dark stained chair for his newest employee.

"Oh wow." A anxiously laugh escaped as Randy walked up and accepted the seat his boss offered him. "Thanks so much. I don't think I've seen a burger dis pretty in muh life" Randy smiled as Proton took a seat across him, with a far less protein heavy meal on his own plate.

"I'm glad it seems to be to your likely." Proton nodded as he unfolded a large cloth napkin and then placed it in his lap, causing Randy to attempt to do the same thing in hopes of not looking like the unclassed slob that he really was. "I'm truly sorry I am unable to share this experience in full with you." The graying purple furred man guested at his own meal. "But I already have agreed to a dinner outing with my wife later this week which will use up my red meat day." Proton seemed to grimace, right after his last statement, while now pushing his large fully vegetable based salad around his plate with his fork.

Randy picked up on Proton's obviously regret from his last statement, and incorrectly chalked it up to the older man being just humiliated for being on a strict diet. "I should probably cut back muhself." Randy smiled trying to show sympathism to Protons plight as he picked up one of his fries. "I just got almost no willpower when it comes ta food and drink." He admitted in all honestly getting a seemingly real smile out of Proton.

"I suppose at my age restraint does come far easier." Proton tried to downplay Randy's interpretation of his words as he was more than aware that the poverty stricken squirrel struggled with alcohol dependency.

Randy gave out a small laugh as he nodded in disagreement with his new handler amused, and unknowingly becoming really relaxed around the other man for the first time. "I'm willing ta bet my full next paycheck dat ya were a far more upstanding citizen at muh age den I am now."

"Truth be told I was brough up with certain expectations very harshly instilled." Proton then finally took a large bit of his salad before continuing. "So, it is likely true that I was far more focused on what was expected of me at your age, but now..." He trailed off for a moment before taking a drink of dark liquid from his glass. "I think I've finally starting to give into being less hard press to do what is needed from me, and perhaps give into doing more of what I fancy." Proton stabbed his fork into the salad in front of him while looked at Randy as the other man locked eyes on him.

"Ain't nothing wrong with having a bit of fun now and den." Randy stated after swallowing his first bite of his burger hard.

The two men looked at each other not happy, yet not displeased either. There was an odd sense of calm between the two... despite how stressed they had both been about one another only hours ago. "So long as it is in the right compony, I suppose you are correct in that regard." Proton let loose another small smile as he focused on the less than manly meal in front of him.

"I'll toast ta dat!" Randy grinned while holding up his glass that Proton met with his own before they both turned back to their meal and continued on with small talk. Maybe this arrangement wasn't going to be back after all? Randy thought to himself as his mood started to soar after speaking longer in private with his new boss.
