The next morning I do my new usual routine and after an hour of fighting crime I find the same alley and I'm met with Danny asking, "You got your butt kicked again?"
"Yes but it was that Predator guy again this time with an arrow plucked from Guardians of the Galaxy," I say with a sigh of frustration.
"So May says you kept the arrow, what do you plan on doing with it?" Danny asks.
"I plan on making counter measures and upgrading my suit by studying it," I say, explaining that I need a suit that is better in every way so I can be more flexible. Once at Tech industries I work on the upgrades finding that the arrow is tracking my DNA signature the new suit looks like the suit from that 90s show Spider-Man Unlimited minus the cape it has the same features too like sonics and nanites that can be stored in a watched and a stealth mode as well as a bulletproof material but it's only for special occasions because you can't beat the classics. After I finished with the new suit my spider sense went off and the news revealed wolfie was attacking Times square again, perfect field test for the new suit he surely will give me a run for my money. I rush out of the room, click the button on the watch to release the nanites as I run the nanites from over my clothes and as soon as I reach the roof I am completely suited up so I jump and swing towards Times square. As soon as I get there Wolfie asks, "What happened to the old duds that got too rough?"
"No just needed a new look and an equalizer," I say shooting a electric web which lands shocking him to the ground but he gets up and starts to charge at me but I counter with my sonics I then charge at him and I punch him repeatedly then I web him up for the cops again and head back. Once back at Tech Danny asks, "How was the test run?"
"It was great but I think it'll be only for special occasions," I say, putting the watch on my workbench.
"So that thing is just gonna sit there collecting dust just like that?" Danny asks, concerned about my mental health.
"Heck no I said the suit was for special occasions but the watch is staying on me at all times I just have to modify it to attach to my web shooters so it can be with me even on my regular costume," I say assuring him that my new suit was not going to waste. After I finished I changed into my regular costume but starring a new accessory the watch containing my nano-suit after about 3 hour or so go by and I start to head home but on my way I get a frantic call from my mom saying that Joey is missing I froze then I head towards the warehouse I caught Dad's killer in knowing who Wolfie is finally. Once I arrive, Wolfie's standing there waiting, gun pointed at Joey. I then drop down saying, "You don't have to do this Wolfie."
"Oh but I do, do you remember this place? This is where my father hid until you came and just gave him to the cops," Wolfie says, taking off his mask revealing Connor Baxter.
"My gosh Connor is that you?" I asked and was shocked that the local bully was Dark-Wolf and the son of the man who killed my father.
"Little Eli is that you? Why don't you take the mask off and fight like a man," Connor says with rage filling in his voice.
"Fine but your father wasn't all that innocent . He robbed a grocery store and shot my father in cold blood," I say, removing my mask and having it as a hoodie.
"Liarrr!" he yells charging at me but I jump out of the way then I web him throwing him out of the warehouse.
"Run!" I yell to Joey and he bolts towards home. With Joey out of the way I could continue the fight. I slid my mask back on and hopped outside but Connor disappeared. I catch up to Joey on the street so I find an alley and catch up to him on foot yelling, "Joey, Joey wait up!" as he slows down at the sound of my voice I catch up to him and we continue home. After arriving home we are greeted by a relieved mom asking, "Where was he?"
"He got lost after missing his bus," I say, winking at him . He just smiles.
"Well thank god he's okay," Mom says, "oh honey May has been waiting for you in your room."
"Okay I'm going there now" I say heading towards my room.
"I heard what you really told your mom but what really happened?" May asks as I'm entering my room.
"Wolfie kidnapped him, guess who Wolfie was?" I ask and answer at the same time.
"Who?" May asks curiously now.
"Connor Baxter turns out his dad killed my father," I say frustrated at myself.
"Oh my gosh really but how did he figure out who you are?" May asks, shocked by the revelation.
"He was going after the people I saved from the first go, he didn't know till I said his name then he recognized my voice," I say trying to make sense out of the whole ordeal.
"Wait, why didn't he go after me?" May asks confused about my theory.
"He did the day he attacked Tech industries and today was both Mom and Joey by taking Joey," I say explaining it all to her and myself. The next morning everything goes as normal as it'll get for me but the whole time I was fighting thugs I was thinking about Connor about how I could'vehelped him and stopped him from going down this dark path he has chosen. After a few hours I find the alley and change meeting up when I exit the alley Danny asks, "Connor Baxter is Dark-Wolf?"
"Yes, because his father killed my Dad and I put his dad in jail," I explained to Danny.
"You can't help but feel sorry for the guy," May says as she huddles into my arm.
"Aww don't you two look cozy," Danny says jokingly.
"Shut up Danny I actually quite like this," I say looking down at May.
"Me too," May says, kissing me on the cheek. Once we're at Tech we're informed that is missing but it's nothing major he's just off on assignment. The rest of the day I just think about how my life got better in every way.
