The day after my confrontation with Connor after I head home for the day after I crawl I find a calm May a change for the good and asking, "How'd it go?"

"Fine though I couldn't stop thinking about Connor," I say, still thinking about Connor.

"Yeah me too," May says with a tone of sympathy but who could blame her even though I feel sympathy for Connor he just went down a dark path. At the same time a news broadcast from the TV in the living room alerted the public that Times Square was under attack by an unknown assailant and May asked, "Is it Connor?"

"Could be, guess I'll find out," I say, slipping my mask back over my face.

"You mean we're going, I'm coming too and I'm calling Danny," May says and I nod and jump out the window. As I near the area I hear a roar like that lizard guy I fought a couple days back at the time of arrival. I joke, "You must've seen my missed connections and see I told you it works."

"I have no time for your jokes, you are nothing but a distraction towards my end goal of curing myself," he says as he back slaps me slamming me into a car.

"Ouch literally," I jokingly groaned. As I get up the lizard guy throws a police car into the air towards a police officer and I joke, "I'm so glad you don't have a horse." I flip the car and it lands perfectly on its wheels. I hop in front of the lizard guy and ask, "I'm Arachnid, what's your name?"

"Reptile!" he says after pausing for a while then I shoot a web but he grabs it and throws me into a building I get up and punch him with all my might then I shoot a web and spin and spin around in a circle and finally when I let go I launch him 1 mile he then hisses and starts to crumble and he retreats. When I returned Danny and May were waiting, May asked, "Are you alright?"

"I'm a little bruised but overall I'm fine," I say, wincing as I remove my costume showing the latest additions to my collection of bruises.

"Is this normal?" Danny asks shocked

"You get used to it after a while of him ignoring it," May responds worried and relieved that I only got a few bruises.

"Yeah I do get used to it, it hurts but I deal with it and walk it off," I say putting my shirt on.

"Alright now to the real business, who was that guy?" Danny asks.

"I don't know he seemed to know me and he has to have worked at Tech because he got a hold of the serum the Doc wanted me to look at," I say trying to put two and two together.

"Wait, you don't think he could be Dr. Bowman?" May asks clicking off my mind of dominoes

"You're right he had me work on the serum he lost a leg the day after then he mysteriously goes off on assignment, he must've tried the serum on himself and then mutated into that thing and he's trying to find me to cure him" I say explaining the possible reasons and building my theory with strong evidence. So we decided to search for cameras the next day to let me get some sleep. The next morning the usual of me and being a hero after an hour I found the alley and changed my clothes and met with Danny asking, "You ready?"

"Yeah let's do this," I say with courage because we picked our day off so I could sneak in with the nano-suit go in and slip through to the security desk disable all security measures let Danny and May in and find the time scape after the attack to when Reptile shows up for the first time. Once we reach the front Danny says, "You're up."

"Alright let's do this," I say running away in a hidden area so I could activate the watch after the nano-suit does it's thing I put it in stealth mode and climb into a vent leading straight into the security office once at the office I look down and make sure the coast is clear and I drop down to the floor and reach the computer and hook up my watch to the system because the watch also serves as an encryption device with a holographic device anyways once I disable all security I call over to May and Danny via comms, "It's all clear you can come up now." Once they knock on the door I open and we scour searching records, security footage journals till we find our evidence. Once we find all the evidence we can, I wait for them to leave to enable the security system then I enter stealth mode and make my way out through the vents and swing home. Once home I meet May and Danny by crawling through the window and ask, "So what we got?"

"Records showing that Bowman indeed accessed the serum on the day Reptile was first sighted and journals show the assignment he was working on was spreading the serum worldwide calling it the cure to all humanity," May says flipping through the records and all sorts of documents.

"Footage shows him developing a device at Tech that can take any chemical compound and transform it into gas," Danny says looking at the security footage on his laptop.

"But what does it have to do with me?" I ask, wondering why Bowman needed me.

"Probably to make more of the serum the device's range is only a couple of blocks," May says looking at a specific entry in Bowman's journal. Then spider sense and an explosion goes off in the apartment and everything goes black. I wake up in a hospital to a worried Mom and Joey but I ask, "May and Danny are they okay?"

"They went missing but every cop in Brooklyn and Manhattan are searching for them," Mom says assuring me but I only worry more they won't be enough if I know what's going on Predator and Reptile teamed up. I ask Joey, "Can you grab my suit and web shooters and give them to me so I can help with the street?" he nods and a couple hours later he arrives with my backpack full with all my gear and some clothes I smile and say, "Thanks."

"You're welcome now go be a hero," he says as I get changed I smile and slide the mask over my face and jump out of the hospital window I swing towards the Empire State building modifying my hud too scan the city for May or Danny's phones no luck then I think to go to Tech it has an amplification tower it can give me a boost in signal perfect they're in two restaurants asI'm swinging towards May's location I spot Connor in the corner of my eye I shift noticing the red highlights and swing down towards him saying, "We need to talk."

"Yeah we do but first we have to stop Reptile," he says with an apologetic smile.

"Wow what's with the change of heart Wolfie?" I jokingly ask.

"First don't call me that, call me Red Knight and second I've had some time to think it out and I talked to my father and you were right," he says and I smile back.

"Alright Red you take Danny at La Mupiers and I'll continue towards May," I say laying out the game plan.

"Sounds like a plan," he says then grapples off.

"That's so cool," I say to myself then I swing towards May.
