Thank you again Dragonriderfold for the suggestion of Oromis and Glaedr for the next chapter! I have really enjoyed making these yet I have never been able to think on who to do it for so the recommendations really help. I look at every review and I will take all ideas for future chapters. Dragons in every corner
Riders on their backs
And knowledge in the heads
Four hundred years before the fall
A man was born as a fair wise elf
A golden egg brought to him
See if he was the rider
Quickly and happily it hatched
Out came the dragon
The dragon called Glaedr
Many years of education
And as much philosophy as possible
Soon they too taught kids
The new age of a great era
The magic of the riders
And the strength of the dragons
A man approached the council Oromis was in
His dragon had died
The mad rider still shook
He requested a new dragon
A second chance to roam the skies
It would be an abomination
A rider with two dragons
Oromis could not allow this
And over ruled the court
Enraged the rider left the court
Swearing revenge on them all
Soon it all collapsed
War raged everywhere
All because of fourteen riders
And one of them
The enraged rider
He had killed a rider
Took the dragon for his own
And went to kill the rest
The heart of hearts
The core of a dragon
Used against the dragons themselves
It was inhuman
It was not right
Most the riders perished
He thought he would live
But a few of the forsworn had caught him
And cursed him as much as they could
To escape
To save him and his dragon
He used more magic he had
More magic they had
And materialised out
It scarred the rider
He couldn't get any magic
Only small bits
He was too weak to fight
And his dragon
His strong powerful dragon
A front left leg gone
With just a stump left
They waited in their home
The home of elves
Till the day that a new rider was free
A rider for them to train
A rider to take the new secrets
And after his final student died
He knew it was soon his time
The blue rider came to him
Cursed by a shade
After four weeks of training
The dragons blessed the boy
And healed him of his curse
And turned him to an elf
Two weeks later
He had to leave
And the gold rider waited again
Quickly the rider returned
Show by je News of his father
After revealing the truth
And teaching more secrets
Both of them were ready to leave
Oromis to Gil'ead
To help the elves take over
The red rider appeared
Yet was no match for an elder
So Galbatorix took over their bodies
And killed the rider and dragon
Oromis lost in the void
His dragon stuck on the planet below
All alone
An ending fit for a criminal
It would be years till his dragon came to him
After finishing his time with Eragon
Reunited in the void
Along with all the riders
So...
Do you guys like it? I always thought the ending was quite depressing for Oromis after a lifetime of serving for peace then being killed and his dragon stuck down below.
Either way please review another character I should add to this.
It may take a bit longer as I came up with an idea of something to write. All I can say is blades will collide and a rider will die.
