"Previously on Total Drama Island... Campers had to build their own hot wheels in a motocross challenge to race for invincibility. There were big winners and big time losers! And there was even some wicked, off-the-track motocross stunts! But in the end, Dawn got into a bit of trouble with some piranhas, which meant that she had to be treated and executed out of the game. Who will be the next winner? Who will be the next loser? Who will renew my contract for next season? All these mind-robbing questions revealed in this episode of Total. Drama. Island!"
The episode begins with a black-and-white shot of the woods. A pair of boots walks on screen and the camera panned up to a grey figure in a hockey mask and apron brandishing a chainsaw.
The shot cut to the eight campers, in color, watching a slasher film.
"He's coming out of the woods with a big chainsaw!" Cody cringed.
"He's going for the car." Sky said.
"Hey fools." Lightning shouted at the screen "Stop making out and start the car."
"They're going to be cut into pieces." Brick squeaked.
"Great, now the car won't start." Harold widened his eyes.
"I hate scary movies," Brick whimpered.
"Run, the psycho's gonna get you!" Cody tried to warn them.
Brick was too scared to watch anymore and shielded his eyes.
"Here comes the blood fest!" Beth told her competitors with excitement.
The movie played out a scene of the blood being splattered all over, making the viewers gasp.
"Cool," Beth watched happily.
"Gross," Duncan laughed in amazement.
"And the chainsaw psycho's going back to the woods! Good ending!" Cody said.
Soon the movie ended.
"I'm glad that's over. I really hate scary movies." Brick sighed in relief.
"Oh yeah? What scares you most?" Duncan began before continuing "The, uh, part where everyone meets a grizzly death? Or the psycho killer with the HOOK?!"
Duncan then brandished a fake hook making Brick hide behind Lightning and Jo, much to everyone's joy and humor.
Confessional: Brick
"Cadet, that was not condoning in any way at all!" Brick glared at the camera.
Confessional Ends
Beth took the film out and put it in its case. "Don't worry Brick. There are more scarier films than this one. And I've watched and taken notes on them."
"Yeah, there was hardly any hacking," Duncan agreed. "Not like Bloodbath 2: Summer Camp Reign of Terror!"
"That's my second favorite horror movie!" Beth gushed. "I love when the killer jams that guys hand into the lawnmower!"
"Or when he pushes the chick off the dock and then she lands on a propeller blade that slices her in half?" Duncan laughed.
"Or when he shoves that big dude's head inside the wood chipper!" Beth and Duncan chimed in unison, causing Brick to scream in terror.
"Like I care about that junk," Jo sniffed. "It's just filled with mindless gore and crappy special effects."
"Horror movies aren't stupid. I personally enjoy them," Cody debated.
"They are traumatic enough to give me nightmare for days," Harold said.
"Has anyone seen Chris?" Lightning asked. "We didn't have a challenge all day."
"Yeah that's kinda suspicious." Sky said.
We then see the campers walk by the dock where Chef was piling the bags on the boat.
"Hey Chef, where's the fire?" Cody asked.
Chef then gets on the boat leaving one bag behind and Chris begins driving it away.
"They seem to have forgotten this," Harold picked up a newspaper sticking out of the bag and read it. "Escaped psycho killer on the loose, be on the lookout for a man wearing a hockey mask with a hooked hand and carrying a chainsaw."
"He's on the loose!?" Lightning panicked.
Everyone looked scared except for Jo.
"Oh please, this is just some challenge. News flash, you're all falling for it." Jo snarked.
"I don't know, they looked really scared." Lightning said.
"Besides if this was fake, why would Chris leave his hair gel behind?" Sky asked in fright picking up Chris' hair gel bottle making everyone except Jo gasp.
"Whoa, this is for real." Beth widened his eyes.
"So let me get this straight," Brick began freaking out. "Chris left us for dead, and now we're alone while that escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw is on the loose?"
"No. We're alone while that escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook is on the loose!" Duncan once again unleashed his hook on Brick, causing him to holler again.
"This needs to stop now!" Brick turned to Duncan seriously.
"So does your screaming," Lightning rolled his eyes.
"I can't help it, I feel like I'm being watched." Brick gulped.
"We're in a reality show. We're always being watched." Cody said.
The camera zoomed out to show Chris watching the scene on a monitor. He chuckled and said to the camera in a hushed tone, "Cody's right. And tonight we're watching to see who can survive... a real life scary movie, with special guest appearance by: The escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook!" before brandishing his own false hook.
"Challenge or not, we need a plan." Beth said.
"Why, so the killer can get us all in one swoop, I say we split up." Jo argued.
"Are you crazy? First rule of slasher films, never go off alone!" Beth said incredulously.
"How do you know that?" Harold asked.
"My family and I have watched some horror movies during Halloween as a family tradition." Beth explained. "It's given me the knowledge to deduce whether something is really scary or just fake."
"I never thought I'd look eye-to-eye with you about something," Duncan smirked before asking everyone else "So where should we hide?"
"I say the campfire so we can talk more about what to do," Sky said.
"Good idea." Cody said happily before the seven began walking to the campfire. "Chris should actually rent a summer camp next time."
Chris heard the last part. "I tried. But they were all rented."
We then see Beth talking to the campers and instructing them "Rule number one, do not go off on your own. Rule number two, if you do go off on your own, never go in the woods! Rule number three, if you do go in the woods, never ever ever make out in the woods or you will die in the woods!"
She then saw only four people were there: Jo, Duncan, Lightning, and Sky.
"Where are Harold, Brick, and Cody?!" Beth asked.
"Corporal had to go to the bathroom so he took the simp with him and Harold went back into his cabin to get some weapons that'll protect us," Duncan explained.
"Weapons? Really?" Lightning doubted. "I doubt it."
"Beth, the last rule mentions that you shouldn't go off on your own," Sky said to the wannabe.
"That is true," Beth nodded.
"Cody and Brick are together, so they're safe," Sky sighed in relief. "Plus, I'm pretty sure they won't go off kissing."
"That part would be interesting," Duncan thought about it. "Harold doesn't have a partner though!"
"That means the dweeb is on the psycho's list first!" Lightning gasped in horror.
"I really hope he gets back soon," Beth moaned.
We then see Cody and Brick outside the communal washrooms.
"Okay no matter what? You do not leave, unless the killer is chasing you because I don't want you to die." Brick told Cody.
"Okay, I won't leave until you're done." Cody said before Brick went in.
Chris saw this happening. "Cue the fanclub!"
Cody was still waiting for Brick when suddenly he heard a scream of joy coming out from a girl offscreen.
"Who was that?" Cody listened to the voice.
"Oh my gosh! I can't believe I'm actually seeing Cody in person!" the girl cheered. "He's such a dreamboat!"
Cody was flattered to hear that. "Where are you? The Codemeister is coming!" He quickly forgot about Brick and ran from the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, Brick was finished doing his business when the building unexpectedly turned off the lights.
"NO! NOT AGAIN!!" Brick panicked before running out of the bathroom yelling, even busting a hole through the walls in the process.
The series of Brick dashing through different locations began. He went through the main area, the mountains, off a cliff, and even through the ocean.
He finally got to the filming tent. When he did, he stopped yelling and began to pant.
"Dark! So dark!" Brick spoke traumatized.
"Dude, you're safe," Chris told him.
"I am?" Brick asked before sitting down and grabbing a bottle of water from Chef in a psycho costume.
"It's just Chef," Chris explained the concept. "He was gonna scare the bejeebers out of you, but apparently your fear of the dark beat him to it."
"The bathroom just turned off all of a sudden," Brick said. "What was I supposed to do?"
"The bathroom needs to get a new pair of lights, but you still bailed before Chef even got a crack at you," Chris teased the cadet. "Speaking of which, you're up psycho man."
Chef put on his mask before walking out of the tent.
Meanwhile, Sky and Beth both saw the hole Brick had left in the bathroom wall.
"Why is there a hole in the wall?" Sky asked in confusion. "And why did Brick leave one there?"
"If my viewings of horror films are to be believed, he was probably trying to run away from the killer," Beth deduced quickly.
"But wasn't Cody with him?" Sky asked her.
"He was, but I think they got split up," Beth sighed.
"Now they're in serious danger right now," Sky griped.
"Maybe they'll find a safe place to hide in?" Beth tried to stay optimistic.
"Maybe," Sky got doubtful. "And about what happened during the paintball challenge, I'm sorry for throwing you off the cliff. You were just following the rules."
"I should be the one who's sorry," Beth said. "I did tire you continuously, and I should've known that you would've gotten mad in the end."
"Let's just go back to the campfire before we get captured," Sky patted Beth on her shoulder.
"Good idea," Beth agreed with the athlete.
Harold was inside the boys cabin supplying himself with items like nunchucks, what seemed to be ninja stars, and a wooden sword.
"This should all do it," Harold confirmed his gatherings.
Confessional: Harold
"I'm pretty bummed about Dawn leaving last time, especially because of an injury," Harold said, "but that doesn't mean I should let it get me down. The psycho is on the loose, and if I stop him, I'll be seen as a hero. Dirty Harold is back!"
However, after his big speech, his eyes began to water and soon he let out a wail, "OH WHY DID DAWN HAVE TO GO THIS WAY?!"
Confessional Ends
We then hear knocking from outside and Harold got out of the cabin with his weapons attached to him.
"Who's there?" Harold asked before seeing Chef as the psycho. He gasped in fear at first, but grew action packed and ready to fight.
"Feel the sting of my ninja stars!" Harold shot the stars at Chef, but it did no damage since the stars were actually black origami.
"Slicing and dicing you with my sword shall take you down!" Harold swung his sword, but it broke in half when it hit Chef due to its wooden structure.
Harold still didn't give up and pulled out his nunchucks. "My last resort to stopping you will be with my trusty nunchucks!" He swung them around and tried to hit Chef, but Chef simply grabbed the nunchucks and threw them on the ground.
Afterwards, he pulled his chainsaw out, and the scene zoomed into Harold's screaming face.
(Commercial break)
We then see Harold as he was in the tent along with Brick.
"Challenging the killer, man that is whack." Chris said happily.
Sky then ran over to the cabins and began speaking "Is anyone there? I heard screaming."
She soon saw Harold's weapons on the floor. "Harold's weapons are on the floor. It's not like him to just leave them in plain sight." Sky shrugged before she came face to face with Chef.
"I should've seen this coming." Sky gulped.
Soon we see Beth, Jo, Duncan, and Lightning at the campfire.
"I've drawn a chart of all the remaining players just to remind us who's been captured or not," Beth informed everyone.
"Four people have been sha-gone for a long time." Lightning admitted in a scared tone.
"I still believe this is a challenge." Jo said although she was also beginning to feel uncertain.
"I'm going to go get some brownies, anyone wanna come?" Lightning asked.
"Sure." Jo said before walking with Lightning.
"But half of us are missing!" Beth tried to tell them.
"We're just gonna grab a snack. Don't worry about it," Jo brushed off the danger.
Confessional: Beth
"Can't someone listen to me for once?" Beth snapped in the camera.
Confessional Ends
We then see Jo and Lightning in the kitchen getting brownies.
"Beth seriously needs to chill out for a second," Jo complained.
"On one hand, we are getting brownies, but on the other hand, the psycho is still out there," Lightning argued back.
"You're the one who said we should get food," Jo said.
"Yeah, but Beth's just trying to help us, dude," Lightning said back. "She is a part of our alliance, and we have to stick together."
"Lightning, Lightning, Jo, Jo, Brownies, Brownies." a voice began whispering freaking Lightning out.
"The psycho is here!" Jo realized quickly before leaving Lightning in front of Chef and running off. "See you later, Jockstrap. I'm sure you can take him!"
"Did Jo leave me behind? On purpose?" Lightning was enraged to see this. "I'm going to punch his lying face, right after I deal with you!"
Chef came closer to him and swung his chainsaw, but Lightning dodged it, grabbed the brownies, and took off.
We then see Chris and the 'slashed' campers together at the tent eating brownies.
"Lightning did not see that coming," Lightning bragged before shoving a brownie into his mouth.
"Extra points for bringing these delicious brownies over to us," Chris thanked the overachiever.
"Yeah, good on you," Jo grabbed a brownie from the tray.
"Quit sweet talking me, dude," Lightning shot daggers at his "ally". "You left me there to almost die!"
"I'm not a dude, Brightning!" Jo growled.
"Whatever. You played me like a piano, and I'm not gonna let that happen again," Lightning shot furiously. "You're on your own from now on!"
"Gosh you guys," Harold ceased the argument. "You're acting like animals."
"We're lucky to be in this tent alive," Brick added as well.
"Can I leave?" Lightning raised his hand. "I don't wanna be anywhere near that traitor over there."
"Sorry, we gotta wait 'til everyone's slashed," Chris denied the request while watching Cody screen. "And it looks like our buddy Cody is up next!"
"Turn around! He's right behind you!" Harold shouted loudly as Chef was trailing right behind Cody.
Cody was still looking for his fangirl until Chef tapped him on his shoulder.
"Hey there. Have you seen a girl around here?" Cody asked behind him, oblivious to the fact that Chef was going to capture him.
He continued walking before realizing that the person he was just talking to was the killer. In a few seconds, he let out a scream of terror.
Soon, Cody was picked up and dropped onto the tent with everybody looking at him.
"By far the worst blunder yet," Chris remarked.
"Not to mention that you left a man behind!" Brick scolded his alliance partner. "Sure I left the bathroom out of fear, but you chose to leave before I was even finished."
"That's not a good look on you," Sky simply told Cody.
Confessional: Cody
"Honestly, I didn't mean to forget about Brick," Cody stated. "I thought a fangirl came onto the island, and it made me lose track of the intensity of the challenge."
Confessional Ends
Soon we see Beth and Duncan at the campfire.
"All I wanted to do was help them," Beth told Duncan while crossing off everybody else. "They just chose to disregard my rules even though it would've kept us safe."
Duncan was holding two sticks on fire. "Live and learn, sweetheart."
"So you really are a pyro," Beth looked at the blazing sticks.
"So? I like burning stuff," Duncan confided shamelessly.
"Is that what you went to juvie for?" Beth wondered.
"Like I'd tell you why I went to juvie," Duncan scoffed haughtily, accidentally setting the paper on fire.
"It's on fire! I'll get water!" Beth yelled and ran away.
"And then there was one." Duncan commented after seeing Beth leave.
Duncan then heard a whisper calling his name by the dock.
"You and me psycho." Duncan smirked.
Beth came with a bucket of water and doused the fire, making the chart soaken in the process. "Are you still here, Duncan?"
Once she saw that Duncan wasn't with her, she dropped her bucket and left in a huff. "I'm gonna get something to eat. No one even wants to listen to my plans!"
The others at the tent saw Duncan at the Dock of Shame with Chef.
"He's going to face off with the escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook!" Harold emphasized with horror.
Confessional: Duncan
Duncan started his speech. "When you got an all-out prize fight, you wait until the fight is over. One guy's left standing and that's how you know who won."
Confessional Ends
"Aw this is gonna be fun." Duncan said happily.
Duncan then threw a couch cushion at Chef but he merely cut it up with the chainsaw.
Duncan then threw oars at Chef, the same thing happened and then Duncan threw a canoe and the same thing happened.
Duncan looked nervous as Chef inched closer to him and then threw a fish at him.
"What? I ran out of things to throw." Duncan shrugged before avoiding the chainsaw and broke it with his foot.
Duncan was now the one holding the chainsaw. "Thought you could scare me? Now let's see who's behind the mask!"
We then see Beth in the kitchen eating sandwiches when a different guy in a mask, with a chainsaw and hook stood near her and breathed heavily.
"I'm not that gullible," Beth ignored the guy. "We watch a scary movie with an escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook and here you are running around."
"Someone lose this?" Duncan opened up the tent with the mask in his hand, causing everyone to congratulate him.
"That was awesome, Duncan," Harold applauded his friend.
Cody looked at the screen. "Um, guys. Beth's taking on the psycho all by herself."
"Wait a sec. If Chef's in here... then who's in the lodge with Beth?!" Duncan wondered in surprise.
"It's the real escaped psycho killer!" Sky panicked.
Everyone rushed out of the tent screaming.
"This could be really, really good for ratings, or really, really bad for lawsuits!" Chris fearfully told his assistant.
Beth was now looking at the killer in full view. "I don't know how much actors get paid, but you could spend a little money on a dental plan!"
Confessional: Psycho Killer
The killer smelled his bad breath. "Oh."
Confessional Ends
"Do you want a sandwich before you impale me with your hook?" Beth offered one, to which the psycho denied. "You want to hear a story? Ever since I was young, my teeth have always been crooked. Though it is my fault since I tend to eat too much candy even though they'll rot my teeth."
"I got braces afterwards, and I haven't eaten a single lollipop or taffy gum since," Beth ate another bite of her sandwich. "I get made fun of for my braces sometimes, but I do need them to make my teeth stable, so I never take them off."
Finally having enough, the psycho got ready to attack the girl, but the door opened.
"Beth! He's the real escaped psycho killer with a chainsaw and a hook!" the cast all shouted out to her.
"This is real!" Beth said in shock before grabbing her tray and smashing it over the psycho's head.
"Augh!" The psycho said in a high pitched voice. "That was totally uncalled for! Man I am so out of here," he said as he left the building. "I was treated way better in prison."
Everyone watched him leave and Brick fainted shortly after. Beth came towards everyone else and accepted a high five from Duncan.
The scene flashed to Harold and Duncan inside the bathroom.
"Can you tell the guys to vote me out?" Harold told the delinquent.
"Wait, do you want to leave the camp?" Duncan asked in surprise.
"Yes I do," Harold resumed his suggestion. "I want to make sure that Dawn is getting better and I'll help in any way possible. I can't live with the stress of not knowing if she's safe."
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Duncan double checked. "You're a very skilled guy to have here."
"I'm sure. I'll even tell the girls to eliminate me so that no one will get into any debates on who has to go," Harold planned out.
"If this is what you want, then okay," Duncan shrugged. "It was cool hanging out with you and getting over the underwear incident."
"At least we don't hate each other anymore," Harold shook hands with his former rival. "We should get going for the ceremony though."
Soon we cut to the elimination ceremony where the final eight were.
"Well it's obvious to everyone that Beth wins invincibility. And it's equally unanimous that Harold walks the Dock of Shame," Chris quickly revealed the eliminated contestant. "Marshmallows for everyone else."
Everyone got their marshmallows but Harold, who stood up. "Well it's been fun guys," he high fived Duncan and Lightning while taking his luggage with him to the dock.
Harold was now at the boat. "Farewell Total Drama Island! I loved, I lost, and I gained a girlfriend! What more could a man ask for?" As the boat took off, the final seven waved goodbye to him.
The camera panned to the left to show the psycho in the woods whispering, "Total Total Total Drama Drama Drama Island Island Island... Total Total Total Drama Drama Drama- Oh, man! That really hurt... I think it's bleeding! Is it bleeding?!"
Boys: Brick, Cody, Duncan, Lightning
Girls: Beth, Jo, Sky
Author's Note: And with that, we lose Harold after his girlfriend. Before anyone even tries to say he's pathetic for quitting, let me just remind you all that his girlfriend was injured to the point of BLEEDING last episode. Some people can be a mess in that type of situation. So with that, he decided to quit. Sorry Harold fans, but he had to go.
Two chapters in one day. Having a co-writer around is very handy for this stuff. Plus I haven't updated this in a week so it felt warranted.
