Sonic raced through the Net, whooping in excitement. Shiro was flopped back on his bed, reading a detective novel. He smirked.

"Already solved it." he said. Sonic spun around to run backwards.

"Sure you did, man." he said. Shiro snorted, and tried to ignore the hedge-Navi. He read on, then his face twisted into confusion.

"Huh? No way! Augh, that destroys that theory." he said. Sonic laughed loud, then righted himself out. He jumped over a gap, glancing down. Something was down there! Sonic landed, and spun around. Down below, on a road Sonic wasn't even sure was being used anymore, was a NetNavi.

"You don't look too good, pal." Sonic said. He took a closer look at the gap. This wasn't here earlier. Sonic looked up, then down. Did this guy crash here? A faint moan came from the Navi, and Sonic snapped to the present. "Uh, Shiro? We've got a problem." he said. Shiro sat straight up, and groaned.

"What now? Every time I let you onto the Net, you find," Shiro stopped in mid-sentence. Sonic had hopped down into the crack. He stood up, and came over. "Sonic! What are you doing?" he asked. Sonic landed on the derelict road, and looked at the Navi.

"Seeing what's up with this guy." he said. Before he even took one step forward, something blue-green slashed at him. Sonic ducked. "Shiro, Battle Chips." he said. Shiro readied them.

"I'm the Operator, I tell you when you get your chips." he said, but slid in a Sword for Sonic nonetheless. Sonic flipped, barely avoiding a slash from a dragon-looking virus. It growled, red eyes flashing. Sonic charged forward.

"Let's see how you take this, big guy!" he said, grasping the handle of the sword. The dragon watched Sonic jump in the air, and the sword arc down toward him. Before it could make contact, the dragon clapped his claws on the blade. Shiro blanched.

"I've never seen a virus do that!" he exclaimed. The dragon virus turned its gaze toward Shiro with an incredulous look. Sonic took advantage of the dragon's distraction, and whirled into a jumping slash. The dragon dodged just in time. The Sword vanished, and Sonic got between the virus and the beat-up NetNavi.

"Okay, pal, not too keen on getting deleted by a virus, and I doubt this guy is either, so either you run, or I'll just have to do some serious virus bashing." he said. A screen popped up with Shiro.

"It's busting!" he protested. The dragon just stared. It gritted its teeth.

"Busting, bashing, whatever. I am not a virus!" it snapped. Shiro blinked.

"It talked!" he said. The dragon growled.

"Considering the talking porcupine you've got here, you really shouldn't be that surprised." it said. Sonic frowned.

"I'm a hedgehog, pal. Hedge. Hog." he said. The dragon rolled its eyes.

"Hedgehog, porcupine, whatever." he said. Sonic snorted.

"What a grump." he said. The dragon ignored him, and hovered over to the NetNavi. He glanced at Sonic with a slight glimmer of worry.

"Look, my partner's not doing too well. He needs help, are you gonna do that or not?" he asked. Sonic smiled.

"Sure!" he said. Shiro slapped his forehead.

"Here we go again."

Sonic set the NetNavi gently on the floor of Shiro's homepage. Magnifying glasses and deerstalker hats twirled around overhead. The dragon hovered over the Navi, then disappeared for a second. Sonic blinked.

"Okay, what-" He stopped in mid-sentece as the dragon appeared again. He looked like he was growling.

"The kid's out cold." he said. Shiro loaded a Recovery chip into his PET.

"Sonic, do you remember how to transfer data?" he asked. Sonic rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, just put a hand on a Navi's crest, and-" Sonic stopped. He looked at the dragon. "Where's this guy's Navimark?" he asked. The dragon started to get even more irritated.

"The shooting star! Got it? Just get the data in already!" he said. Shiro sighed, but Sonic's face softened a little.

"He'll be okay, ya grump." he said, and touched the shooting star symbol on the Navi's armour. The Navi moaned, and blinked his eyes a little. He shoved himself up, wincing. The dragon hovered in front of him.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty." he said. The Navi looked at him, blinking.

"Mega? Where are we?" he asked. Sonic pointed a thumb at himself.

"This is my NetOp's homepage. The name's Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog." he said. The Navi blinked, then held his head.

"I'm really confused." he said. Shiro leaned on his desk.

"Sonic usually is confusing." Sonic shot him a look, but Shiro pretended not to see. He looked at the Navi. "Let's start again. Sonic found you crashed in ACDCArea, and after tangling with your dragon virus," The dragon started to growl, but the Navi calmed it down. ",we brought you back to my homepage and healed you." Shiro leaned forward. "What happened anyways and who are you guys?" he asked. The Navi stood up, and glanced at first Sonic, then Shiro. Him and the dragon shared a look.

"I'd say just leave, kid." the dragon said. The Navi looked at him.

"They did help us..." he trailed off. The dragon growled.

"The sooner we find this Clockman guy, the sooner we get back!" he said. The Navi rubbed behind his head.

"I know. Sonia can't wait forever." he said.

"Then what are you waiting for?"

"We should at least thank them."

"Fine, thank 'em, then go."

"Mega!" Sonic and Shiro glanced at each other during the banter. Eventually the NetNavi chuckled, and turned around. "Sorry. Omega-Xis can be a handful somedays. My name's Mega Man, thank you for the help." With that, him and the dragon left. Sonic smiled competitively.

"Mega Man huh?" he asked. Shiro started scratching his head.

"What was that all about? There's a Clockman, and a Sonia. And what about that crash landing?" he said. Sonic made a time-out motioned.

"Woah, dude. For all we know it was a serious NetBattle and Mega Man just got separated from his Operator." he said. Shiro frowned.

"But what about the virus?" he asked. Sonic shrugged.

"Not a virus." he clarified. Shiro leaned back in frustration.

"Argh! I'm just trying to solve this mystery. Play along with me for once, Sonic." he said, raising an eyebrow. Sonic sighed.

"Fine. I'll see what I can find out." he said, and dashed toward the link. He stepped out into ACDCArea, and charged in the direction of main street. "Yo! Kid!" he called. He stopped, nobody around. He scratched his head. "Either he jacked out, or he's faster than I thought." he said. He took off, now this was peaking his interest.

Mega Man raced down the roads. He looked around, amazed.

"It's almost like the Wave World." he said. The gruff voice inside his head silently agreed.

"Good thing you're blending in okay. None of these Navis even seem to know the difference. Though..." Mega Man blinked.

"What, Mega?" he asked. The dragon appeared, face scrunched up.

"That Sonic guy noticed you didn't have one of those Navi crests." he explained. Mega Man glanced at a passing Navi, and the mark on its front. He glanced down at his own shooting star symbol.

"I just hope nobody else notices, at least, not before we get home." he said. 'And find Sonia.'

Sonic jumped off a ledge, pausing to ask a Navi if they'd seen a blue Navi, besides him, come by. The Navi shook its head, and Sonic slumped slightly.

"This is going nowhere, Shiro." he said. Shiro appeared on a screen.

"Look, Sonic, there's a mystery going on here, and I want to solve it." he said. Sonic raced off again.

"I get there's something weird about this guy, but it's not like he's a talking blue hedgehog from another dimension." he teased. Shiro frowned, then turned his attention to an internet search he was doing.

"I'm trying to find out if there's anything like that dragon, Omega-Xis, but there's nothing. Not even any dragon-looking viruses." he said. Sonic took a corner.

"Then why don't you look up the Navis?" he asked. Shiro shot him a look.

"Counting you, there's bound to be hundreds of blue NetNavis out there. It won't be easy to track that guy down." he said. Sonic shrugged.

"Point taken." he said, then stopped. He noticed a pink NetNavi talking with her Operator. Sonic grinned. "Cool, it's Roll." he said, and took off. "Hey, Roll!" he called. Roll smiled, looking at Sonic.

"Hey, Sonic, what's up?" she asked. Sonic motioned with his hands.

"See a blue Navi go by? Kinda your height, spiky hair?" he asked. Roll nearly squeaked.

"No!" she said. Shiro blinked.

"Huh?" he asked. Maylu blinked a moment, then regained her composure.

"No, we haven't seen a Navi like that go by recently." she said. She barely hid excitement. Sonic looked at Roll's startled expression. She smiled very bright.

"We'll help look for him! Right, Maylu?" she asked. Maylu nodded.

"Of course. Let's split up, and meet here later, okay?" she said, looking at Shiro. Shiro blinked.

"Sure, but-" Roll waved.

"Thanks! See you later!" she said, and raced away. Sonic blinked.

"That was weird." he said. He glanced back when Shiro didn't reply, and his face dropped to unimpressed. Shiro had a contemplative look on his face.

"Hm, this mystery keeps twisting. Turning into a maze." he said. Sonic threw up his hands, silently waiting for Shiro to go through his 'detective moment'. Shiro yanked his deerstalker cap out of seemingly nowhere, and grabbed a magnifying glass. "The Zephyr Breeze Detective Agency is on the case! Sonic! Open a file for the mystery of the shooting star!" he said. Sonic made a new file, albeit reluctantly.

"Shooting star? Huh, guess the name fits for once." he said. Before he could even put down 'case notes', a high-pitched scream came from further off. Sonic whirled around. "That was Roll!" he exclaimed. Shiro readied some Battle Chips.

"Go after her, Sonic!" he exclaimed. Sonic nodded, and he was off.

Roll was trying her best.

"RollArrow!" she exclaimed. The green, clock-themed NetNavi just yawned, and snapped his fingers. He moved so quickly that Roll didn't even see him move. He was behind her in an instant. He snapped his fingers again, and a laser knocked her to the ground.

"What a shame this battle was over so soon. And I have all the time in the world to play it!" he said. Roll whirled around. Maylu got some Battle Chips ready.

"Are you alright, Roll?" she asked. Roll nodded, trembling slightly as she got up.

"He's too fast." she said. Maylu nodded, eyebrows tightening in worry.

"I don't understand it, no NetNavi can be that fast." she said. The Navi waved her off.

"Don't make such a painful face, it spoils your beauty." he said, looking from Maylu to Roll. Roll readied her attenae, even though she was fairly sure that they wouldn't do too much at this point.

"What do you want from me?" she asked. The Navi bowed.

"Only to be graced by your beautiful presence for all time." he said. Roll shook her head.

"Never!" she said. The Navi sighed.

"What a shame, I hoped to capture your lovely features with more grace, like I did with the other one." he said. Just as he was about to fire another attack, a blue blur crashed into him. Roll's and Maylu's face lit up.

"Sonic!" they exclaimed. Sonic grinned.

"Anybody miss me?" he asked. Shiro readied a couple of Battle Chips.

"AreaSteal and AirShot slot in!" he exclaimed. Sonic bolted.

"Too easy, pal." he said. Roll's eyes went wide.

"Sonic wait!" she exclaimed. The Navi snapped his fingers once more, and dodged. Sonic's eyes went wide, and quickly flipped back. With the AreaSteal he appeared behind the Navi, but once again the Navi snapped his fingers and moved too quickly for Sonic to see. Sonic's eyes darted to the left at a laugh.

"Deja vu." he mumbled. Roll came next to him.

"He's even faster than you, Sonic!" she said. Sonic rubbed his nose.

"I doubt it." he said. He stared the Navi down, who didn't loose his smile for even a second. Sonic noticed the clocks all over his armour. "I think somebody is cheating. Pretty naughty stopping the clock like that." Sonic wagged a finger. The Navi didn't loose his composure for a second.

"What's a Navi to do? I've drawn this out long enough, I believe I'm running late." he said. Sonic bounced forward in an AirShot Spin, but the Navi had already moved. Roll screamed again, but was cut short in the middle of it. Sonic whirled around. The green Navi was in front of Roll, and Roll looked like she was in the middle of a RollWhip attack, but completely frozen. The Navi smiled, then vanished, bringing Roll with him. Maylu's eyes went wide.

"Roll!" she exclaimed. Shiro gritted his teeth.

"Where does this guy get off kidnapping Navis like that? It's sick!" he exclaimed. Sonic tapped his foot.

"Didja see all the clocks on him?" he asked. Shiro blinked, then his eyes went wide.

"Of course! Mega mentioned a Clockman!" he said. Maylu's eyes went wider, but restrained herself.

"Shiro, you have to find Roll. Please hurry, I have no idea what that Navi is planning to do with her." she said. Shiro nodded, then looked at Sonic. Sonic pointed ahead.

"Can I go?" he asked. Shiro nodded.

"At Sonic speed please!" he said. With those words, Sonic was nothing but a blue blur on the Net.

Clockman admired the new piece in his collection.

"Such beauty..." he trailed off, looking at Roll in mid-attack. Her face had wide-open eyes, and she was ready to fight even though she knew the fight was lost. Clockman nodded, then turned his head toward the other recent addition. "The two of you make a good set you know. Such fiery passion!" he said. The other figure was holding a guitar, face set and determined, with her arm raised high with a pick. Clockman gently slid his finger down the guitar string. "You put up such a fight, Harp Note. Such a beautiful fight." He turned around, smiling. "Don't worry, once my energy is recharged, I will bring you to the future, where your beauty will be preserved, for all time."

Sonic raced forward, trying every route he knew about.

"Clockman better've not gone to the UnderNet." he said. He had enough trouble the last time he got trapped there. Shiro started to pace, tapped his magnifying glass against his chin.

"Let's see. Mega Man was trying to find Clockman. A 'Sonia' couldn't wait any longer. Roll was just kidnapped by Clockman." He stopped, then looked at Sonic. "Let's say Clockman kidnapped this Sonia too. What does Clockman have to gain by the kidnappings?" he asked. Sonic shrugged.

"Who knows, but isn't Sonia a human name?" he asked. He kinda approved of this one. Shiro's face fell, and groaned.

"Sonic! Stop proving everything that's wrong with my theories." He rubbed his head, then stopped. "What if it was Clockman's NetOp who took Sonia? Sonia could be Mega Man's NetOp, and with her kidnapping, Mega Man was left without Battle Chips. He was swiftly defeated by Clockman, leaving us to find him. Clockman, still excited from the battle, and still likely in the area, decided to have a little fun himself by kidnapping Roll." he said. Sonic turned that theory over in his head. He looked ahead at a blue NetNavi dealing with some viruses.

"Well you can ask him yourself." he said, and raced up.

Mega Man deleted a Mettenea, or Mettaur, whatever they were called, then turned attention to another virus. The wolf-looking virus lunged, and jumped overhead. Mega Man swung the Mega Buster up, and aimed.

"Cannon!" he exclaimed, and deleted the virus. Omega-Xis roared, and slashed the last virus into submission. He nodded.

"Not bad for 20XX viruses." he said. Mega Man shook his head.

"Only you, Mega." he said. Omega-Xis smirked.

"Caught you smiling during the battle too, kid." he said. Mega Man rubbed behind his head.

"It's not really the battles thought. We are literately in the past! The entire Wave World was based off of this very Internet! Don't you think that's the least bit exciting?" he asked. Omega-Xis yawned.

"Another human invention." he said, but was still mildly interested. A blue blur skidding to a stop brought both of their attentions to earth. Mega Man blocked the flecks of data that were thrown up, then looked at Sonic.

"Sonic!" he said. Sonic's seemingly carefree face was tightened.

"Hey, Megs. We've got a problem. A friend of mine was kidnapped by a Navi with a bunch of clocks all over him, ring a bell anywhere?" he asked. Mega Man's face fell.

"No! Clockman!" he exclaimed. Omega-Xis growled.

"I'm starting to hate that guy. C'mon, Geo, let's go wild on him already!" he ordered. Geo turned around.

"I plan to, but we don't even know where he is." he pointed out. A screen popped up with Shiro's face, and it was deep in thought.

"Maybe, just maybe..." he trailed off. His face lit up.

"Sonic, you go with Mega Man and his virus buddy and start looking. I'm going to see if I can use Maylu's PET to track Roll's location!" he exclaimed, then raced away from the screen. He was out of hearing range before Omega-Xis could yell

"I'm not a virus!" Sonic laughed.

"Teasing is just something Shiro does." he said. He turned around, and started racing away at a pace Mega Man could keep up with. "Okay, not to pry, but we need some details. Who is Clockman?" he asked. Mega Man shared a look with Omega-Xis, and the dragon groaned reluctantly.

"Fine." he said. Mega Man nodded, then looked at Sonic.

"I'll explain everything, but only once Shiro gets back. I don't want to repeat myself." he said. Sonic nodded, and kept running. He watched Mega Man out of the corner of his eyes.

'Just who are you, Mega?'

Shiro aggressively pressed the doorbell to Maylu's house. He jammed it again, then started tapping his foot. He stopped.

'Not another one of Sonic's habits I picked up.' he thought to himself just as the door swung open. Shiro looked up, seeing Maylu. Maylu looked at him in disbelief.

"Shiro?" she asked. Shiro quickly spread his hands.

"I have an idea on how to find Roll, can I see your PET?" he asked. Maylu handed it over, confused.

"What are you doing?" she asked. Shiro started pressing buttons.

"I'm trying to track down Roll's location. Even if I can narrow it down a little, Sonic might just be able to find," A ding on the PET indicated his tracking had worked. Shiro grinned. "Got it!" he said. He pulled out Sonic's PET. "Sonic! Go for the spot you found Mega Man and his virus buddy. Roll's been through there." he said. Sonic shot off a false salute.

"Got it, Shiro. And I think it's time for Meg's here to uphold his end of the bargain." he said. Maylu leaned over and looked at the screen of Shiro's PET. The Navi inside was blue, but... Maylu let out a sigh.

"I should of known better than to get my hopes up." she whispered. Shiro glanced back.

"Huh? What was that?" she asked. Maylu took a breath.

"It's nothing." she said. Mega Man looked out the screen of Sonic's PET.

"Are you that Navi's friend?" he asked. Maylu nodded.

"Right! Please, do you know how to rescue her?" she asked. Mega Man frowned.

"I do." he said. Omega-Xis appeared, and looked over Shiro's shoulder.

"Okay, kid, one more person. Are we still doing this?" he asked. Mega Man looked back.

"We are, Mega." he said. He looked at the ground.

"You see... Omega-Xis and I, we're from the future." he said. Shiro blanched, and Maylu's eyes went wide.

"The future?!" they asked at the same time. Sonic rubbed his forehead.

"Please tell me that you're not looking for an Iblis Trigger." he said. Mega Man looked at him.

"Huh?" he asked. Sonic shrugged.

"Long story." he said. Mega Man and Omega-Xis shared a look.

"So's ours."

AMAKEN was busy, and excited. NetNavi technology from 20XX had been refitted into Wizard technology. One of these new 'Wizard' Navis was very eager. bowed.

"What an interesting world. Shame it decays so easily." he said. One of the scientists just chuckled.

"You're such a stickler for time, Clockman. Hope we can find a partner for you soon." he said. The scientist picked up a box and left the room. Leaving Clockman all alone, mind racing. A screen that had been left on started to play one of Sonic Strumm's new music videos. Clockman watched, intrigued.

"Hm, such beauty." he said. He calculated the timing of the music. His grin got wider. "Such precision!" he said, becoming even more impressed. Sonia shot her hand up at the sky during the bridge, face bright. Clockman stroked the screen's surface. "Hm... If only there was a way..." His face turned up in a sickening grin. "But of course, I control time. I'm such a geeenius!" Clockman turned around, striding into the Wave World. "I'll preserve that beauty and passion for all time. And not just of that girl. Of all beauty, and throughout all time." A low, but powerful chuckle rippled from the futuristic NetNavi.

Mega Man sighed.

"After that, he went after my friend Sonia. In the future, there are some people who can combine with EM Wave beings, like me and Omega-Xis. When I'm wave-changed, I can enter electronics, like I'm doing right now, and fight. Sonia transformed with her partner Lyra to fight, but Clockman froze her in time." he explained. Sonic tapped his foot.

"Huh, just like he did with Roll." he said. Maylu blinked as she processed all this.

"Your future sounds amazing." she said. She looked at Shiro. "Don't you think, Shir-" She blinked. Shiro was tugging his deerstalker cap over his eyes.

"Time travel, of course it had to be time travel. Two theories busted in one day..." he mumbled. Maylu laughed nervously. Mega Man chuckled too.

"I know it's kinda crazy, but you have to believe me." he said. He looked down. "Sonia is a very good friend of mine. After Clockman escaped to the past with her, I followed. We didn't plan to interact with anybody, but the time travel took more out of me than I thought, and well, that's when Sonic found me." he said. Shiro nodded.

"Make's sense, you don't want to cause a paradox." he said. Sonic turned around.

"Personal experience says no worries on that bit. Compared to some of the time travel shenanigans Silver's pulled, Meggars here is nothing." he said. Omega-Xis started to growl.

"What'd he call us?" he asked. Mega Man held him back just in time before the EM being could slash at the blue hedge-Navi. Shiro pinched his forehead.

"I'm just going to ignore what you just said for now, Sonic. We need to stop messing around and get to Roll." he said. Sonic stretched.

"I'm cool with that. Meet ya at the broken road." he said, and vanished. Mega Man took off after him.

"You're going to trust us? Just like that?" he asked. Sonic looked at him.

"Any reason not to?" he said. Mega Man smiled gently.

"Sonic, thanks." he said. Sonic gave him a thumbs-up.

"Anytime, man."

Clock hands turned around in the sky. Clockman watched them eagerly.

"In exactly eleven minutes, forty-seven seconds, and twenty milliseconds, it will be time to go." he said. A sonic boom rippled through the air, startling him. "Wh-" Before Clockman could even blink, Sonic swung a fist around.

"FireHit!" he exclaimed. Clockman flew backwards and slammed on the ground. He winced.

"What? You're off schedule." he said. He looked up, Mega Man jumping through the air overhead.

"Sword!" he exclaimed, slashing it down. Clockman rolled to the side, barely avoiding it. He snapped his fingers.

"Time for you to stop!" he said. Time didn't stop, things kept moving. Sonic flexed his fingers.

"I think you just about clocked out there, pal." he said. Mega Man aimed the Mega Buster at him.

"You've used up all your energy fighting, now it's time to give Sonia back!" he said. Clockman looked at him.

"Well well, I supposed a delay will be satisfactory this time. Just so long I can finally stop the two of you from interrupting me!" he said. Sonic windmilled his arm.

"Right back at you!" he said. Mega Man charged.

"Wave Battle, set! Ride On!" he exclaimed, and jumped into the air. Shiro raised an eyebrow.

"I don't care if that's how they do it in the future, let's do it our way! Battle routine, set!" he exclaimed. Sonic raced up.

"Let's do this!" he finished. Clockman swung spinning clock hands forward.

"Spin Gear!" he exclaimed. Sonic jumped over one, and Mega Man the other. Mega Man flipped around.

"MiniGrenade!" he exclaimed, throwing them at Clockman. Sonic rolled in quick.

"DrillRun!" he said, slamming right into Clockman. Clockman gritted his teeth.

"Enough games! Time Shift!" he said. A clock appeared behind him, the hands spinning quickly. It chimed, and a laser shot out. Sonic ducked underneath, singing his quills.

"Yeowch!" he exclaimed. Mega Man jumped forward.

"Sword-!" The clock chimed again, and a black figure with white hair appeared quite literately out of nowhere. Mega Man's eyes went wide. "Solo!?" he exclaimed. Omega-Xix growled.

"What're you doin' here?" he demanded. Solo said nothing, and pushed back. Clockman laughed as the clock chimed again. Sonic picked himself up.

"Okay, this is going to get old pretty quickly." he said. A red mass appeared behind him. Shiro's eyes went wide.

"Barrier!" he exclaimed, slotting it in as quickly as he could. Sonic turned around, and cringed as he activated the Barrier.

"Big dragon, oh." he said. The red dragon roared, and butted Sonic with its head. Sonic flew into the air, Barrier popping just like that. Meanwhile, Mega Man was firing the Mega Buster as quickly as he could.

"Solo snap out of it!" he exclaimed. Solo said nothing, and swung his sword forward. Omega-Xis appeared, and clapped it between his claws.

"Kid! I don't think this is Solo. Check out what else Clockman grabbed!" he said. Mega Man glanced back, eyes going wide.

"The Crimson Dragon!" he exclaimed. He looked up, seeing Sonic falling from the sky. "Sonic!" he exclaimed. Sonic twisted around.

"I'm starting to get real tired of this!" he said. Clockman backed up slowly, smiling eerily.

"In just four minutes and thirty-two seconds, you will have lost whatever chance you think you have." he said. The slower clock off to the side ticked. As another laser shot out from the clock face, Sonic landed. He looked up.

"This is gonna hurt." he said, the laser shooting right toward him. Shiro's eyes went wide.

"Sonic!" he exclaimed. Mega Man snapped his head back, and slammed Sonic to the ground. The laser hit both of them, but not head-on. Sonic winced.

"Thanks, Megs." he said. Mega Man started to prop himself up.

"It, it was nothing." he said. Omega-Xis hovered beside both of them.

"We can't draw this out any longer. We've gotta stall the Solo copy and deal with the Crimson Dragon." he said. Sonic looked back at the dragon, and then at Solo.

"The only way we're going to do that is if we work together." he said. He looked at Mega Man, then at Omega-Xis. "All of us." he said. A screen appeared with Shiro.

"Sonic! I don't think BondStrike can handle three Navis at once." he said. Sonic looked back.

"We've gotta try, or else Roll and Sonia are gonna be frozen in time forever. Besides, I don't think they're Navis." he said. He extended a fist bump to Mega Man.

"Ready for this?" he asked.

Solo jumped, and the Crimson Dragon roared.

Mega Man and Omega-Xis shared a look, then glanced at the fist bump.

"I'm not sure for what, but yes." he said, meeting it back. Omega-Xis bumped as well.

"Let's do this, spiky." he said. Sonic's Navimark started to glow. He grinned.

"Okay!" he said. Mega Man's shooting star glowed back, and Omega-Xis' wild green energy went wild.

"BondStrike!" they exclaimed as one. Clockman turned around, startled, and blocked the wild wind coming from the transformation.

"What is this? Why must they throw me off the clock even further!?" he exclaimed. The blinding glow died down, revealing Sonic surrounded with a wild energy glow. His battle visor had turned red, and Mega Man's armour replaced his. Sonic's eyes snapped open, a mixture of wild fighting and heroic determination.

"Let's go wild on these things!" he exclaimed. Shiro whipped out three Battle Chips.

"Triple swords for triple fighters! Sword! WideSword! LongSword! Slot in!" he exclaimed. The glow flashed, and grew. MegaStrike Sonic pulled his arm back, grabbing the powerful blade.

"ProgramAdvance! LifeSword!" he said. The Crimson Dragon roared, and tried to bite them, but the LifeSword hit first. It roared, fading away into data. Solo lunged forward, but MegaStrike Sonic shattered his sword with a single swipe. Solo's copy vanished, startled. Clockman took a step back.

"What-" he started. He snapped his fingers, and fired two lasers at Sonic at once. Sonic held up his hand, and guarded with a shield. He smirked.

"It's over, Clockman! Now free our friends!" he exclaimed. Clockman got desperate.

"Spin Gear!" he exclaimed, throwing them as quickly as he could. Sonic dodged each and every one of them, and jumped into the air.

"Triple Hero!" he declared in a voice that was three in one. A wild, green, blue Spin Attack sliced out of the sky, and slammed squarely into Clockman. The future Navi recoiled.

"What? What?! This can't be possible! I was supposed to last forever!" he exclaimed before vanishing. MegaStrike Sonic landed on the ground, standing firm, and victorious. He stumbled to the ground, and flashed. Mega Man and Omega-Xis separated from the hedge-Navi, holding their heads.

"Woah..." Mega Man said. Omega-Xis glanced up, wincing.

"That was something else." he said. Sonic glanced back, forcing a grin. He gave a thumbs-up.

"Nice BondStrike." he said. A soft glow started to come from the platform the girls were on, making the blue heroes look up. Roll stumbled forward, attenea swiping. She looked around.

"What?" she asked. Mega Man raced up to Sonia. She started to shred down her guitar pick, then stopped.

"Huh?" she asked. She looked over at Mega Man.

"Geo!" she exclaimed, smiling wide. Mega Man's face lit up.

"Sonia! You're okay!" he said. A harp-shaped being appeared behind Sonia.

"Hm, I take it you and your partner rescued us?" she asked. Omega-Xis smirked.

"Nothing could keep the kid away." he said. Roll looked over at Mega Man.

"Huh?" she asked, face falling in confusion. A screen appeared with Maylu.

"I'm so sorry, Roll, but, it wasn't our Mega." she said. She smiled. "I'm just glad you're okay." she said. Roll nodded, and managed to hold back some disappointed tears.

"Alright. It's okay, Maylu." she said. Sonic came up.

"How's that for a dramatic rescue?" he asked, casually sticking his hands behind his head. Roll turned around, smiling with her hands clasped behind her back.

"I'm sure it was. Except, well, I didn't even know it was happening." she said. Sonic did something that was half a grimace, and half a grin.

"It was cool, trust me." he said. Shiro laughed.

"You and your ego." he said. A heavy ticking sound suddenly echoed around the Cyberworld. Everybody looked up at the clock. It chimed, and a clock-shaped portal appeared in front of everyone. Mega Man stared at it.

"A time portal." he said. Sonia stared at it, then at Mega Man.

"You're going to have to do a lot of explaining later, you know that?" she asked, smiling. Mega Man smiled back, and rubbed behind his head.

"Heh, yeah." he said. He turned toward Sonic and Shiro. "I can't thank you enough for helping me rescue Sonia." he said. Sonic nodded.

"Saving people is what we do." he said. Shiro propped his cheek on his fist.

"You mean it's what you do, I'm just always here for the ride." he said. He did smile though. "Regardless, you're welcome." he said. Mega Man nodded, smiling. Him and Sonia started stepping closer to the portal, holding hands.

"Let's go home." Mega Man said. Roll nodded, smiling.

"That's so sweet." she said. Omega-Xis snickered, and Lyra smiled. Just before stepping through, all of them looked back.

"Shiro, Sonic," Mega Man started. Sonic just gave a thumbs-up.

"You don't need to say it, bud. We'll see each other again, someday. And next time," Sonic flexed his fingers. ",we'll need to have a NetBattle." he said. Mega Man just chuckled.

"We'll see." he said. Shiro glanced at Omega-Xis.

"You know, you're not bad for a crazy energy virus." he said. Omega-Xis snorted in pride.

"Thank-" He blanched. "What was that?" he demanded. Everybody started to laugh. Mega Man brought Omega-Xis back.

"Don't look now, but I think that was a compliment." he said. The four stepped through the portal.

"Good bye, everyone!" Mega Man said. Sonia waved back.

"I may now know who you two are, but thank you! And, Sonic, I approve of your name!" she said. Sonic nodded.

"Yours too, Sonia!" he said. When their figures had completely disappeared into the glow, the portal snapped shut, and vanished. Sonic nodded.

"See you again some day, Mega Man."

Epilogue:

Geo and Sonic appeared suddenly in AMAKEN. Luna, Bud, and Zach all looked up.

"Geo!" Geo looked up, smiling.

"I'm back, guys."
