Chapter 25: I Triple Dog Dare You
Boys: Brick
Girls: Jo, Sky
"Last time on Total Drama Island, Yours truly was off hosting a swanky awards show, show Chef filled in as host and man was he brutal to the campers." Chris explained "Not only did he dump them in the middle of the woods and left them to fend for themselves, but he left them with scary dude Sasquatchanakwa. They ran helter, They ran skelter. They ran into a crowded bat cave! Huge mistake I might add, Eventually they set up camp for the night, and Brick and Jo managed to get the jump on Duncan and Sky, Chef then chose who got the boot, and it ended up being Duncan. We are down to the final three and all of them have used different strategies to get this far. And they're in for a glutton of punishment, don't believe me then I triple dog dare you to watch this episode, of Total! Drama! Island!"
The episode began with a shot of the cabins before cutting to a bird that had nested in a loud speaker. The speaker sounded, scaring the bird with a squawk. "Campers!" Chris's voice came from it. The bird coughed up a worm that fell on the ground with a smile. "Welcome to the semi-finals." The worm crawled away for a moment before being picked up by another bird. The camera returned to the loudspeaker, now bird and nest free. "Today we reward our challengers with an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast!"
The camera cut to Chef making the aforementioned breakfast treats with a scowl. There were already a large stack next to him when Chris continued, "That's right. Genuine animal by-products served with fresh ingredients relatively close to their expiration date." The cook flipped a pancake, the disc going higher and higher, until a splat was heard the the cake did not come down. Chef scowled at the ceiling and grabbed a shovel, and the camera shifted to show the pancake stuck to the ceiling. The shovel scraped at it until it fell back onto the spatula.
Confessional: Sky
"So I made it to the final three. I guess it shows how much fair play can get you." Sky smiled proudly.
Confessional: Jo
"It was only fate that I would make it this far. I'm not really surprised that Sky and Brick made it though, after all, they actually know how to play the game." Jo said with a smirk.
Confessional: Brick
"I figured if I stuck to my principles I would make it this far and I was correct." Brick beamed with pride.
Confessionals End
The static cut to the main lodge, the three semi-finalists waiting in line for their breakfast.
Sky was first, accepting a small stack of pancakes and walking off with nothing more than a bored expression.
Next was Jo, accepting her food rationally... until she looked down to see the top pancake covered in hair and nail clippings. She threw the pancake away and went to sit down.
Brick was the last one. Chef gave him a stack of pancakes and he smiled. "I haven't had pancakes since I was 12. With an all-you-can-eat-pancake breakfast, I can relive my childhood a bit."
Confessional: Brick
"I'm aware the pancakes might not actually taste good but I shouldn't dwell on it." Brick shrugged.
Confessional: Jo
"Brick and Sky are actually close enough to my level so them being here will make my game a little difficult." Jo narrows her eyes.
Confessional: Sky
"Winning would be awesome but making Jo lose would be even more so." Sky said with her eyes also forming into a glare.
Confessional: Brick
"If I win, I plan to use the money to benefit society." Brick smiled.
Confessional: Jo
"When I win, I will use my money to buy my own dream gym." Jo smirked.
Confessional: Sky
"If I win, I'm going to use the money responsibly and achieve my Olympic dreams." Sky said happily.
Confessionals End
The static ended with a shot of stage lights above the amphitheatre before panning down to the semifinalists behind the same makeshift game show podiums. Sky on the left, Brick in the middle, and Jo on the right. Chris stood in front of them and announced. "Campers! Welcome to the semi-finals!" The camera focused on the host as he continued, "the producers ran out of insane ways to torture you so..." the final three were shown giving each other wary looks, "they asked the ousted campers for ideas. Turns out they had a lot."
"They provided us with the sickest, most twisted and insane dares imaginable in TDI's version of..." the host stepped back and the camera panned out to show a wheel with all the ousted campers' pictures on it and a large bottle acting as a spinner, "Spin the Bottle! Starting with," the camera focused on each camper's picture as the host announced them. "Cody! Ella! Sadie! Owen! Ezekiel! Lightning! Dawn! Heather! Lindsay! Noah! Harold! Beth! Shawn! Duncan! Mike! Eva! Rodney! Amy! And, the lawful, no-nonsense achiever... Courtney!"
"Put'em all together," Chris continued, " and we've got a high stakes game of... 'I Triple Dog Dare You!'"
"Is this a game for 5th graders or what?" Jo deadpanned.
Chris ignored her as he explained, "Each player will take turns spinning the bottle. The camper you land on will determine the dare you perform. You can take the dare yourself and win a 'get out of dare' freebie or inflict the dare on a fellow camper in hopes of booting them out."
"And if we refuse the dare?" Sky asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Ooh, not a good option," Chris answered. "Anyone who chickens out of their dare will immediately be sent," the camera quick panned to the Boat of Losers, "to the Dock of Shame, board the Boat of Losers, do not go to bonfire, do not collect marshmallow, and do not get to win," the host gestured to a canoe full of cash, "one hundred thousand dollars!"
Confessional: Brick
"A sudden death elimination?!" Brick asked the outhouse with wide eyes. "I would call it a nice change of pace, but there's nothing nice about it."
Confessional Ends
"Okay," Chris continued, "who's ready to humiliate themselves first?"
The campers looked at each other for a moment before Jo shrugged. "Fine," she said, "I'll go." She walked to the wheel and gave it a spin.
Confessional: Chris
"Okay," Chris said in the confessional with a devious tone. "Chef and I have a little side deal going on. First one to puke has to pony up a hundred bucks.
Confessional Ends
"Okay," Chris said as the bottle spun. "Let's get this party started!" The wheel landed on Duncan. "Duncan's dare: Hug a cactus." The three campers all gave looks of disgust. "Jo, you can perform the dare yourself or dare one of your competitors to do it. Either way, someone's gettin' up and feelin' some spiky love."
"I triple dog dare Brick," Jo sinisterly smiled at her enemy.
The footage skipped ahead to Brick next to a cactus.
"How painful can a cactus be?" Brick talked to himself. "Just take it."
He hugged the cactus, and in less than a second, he let out an ear-piercing scream.
"Oh man," Chris said, "that was so brutal."
Brick got off the cactus and fainted for a while.
Sky spun the wheel. The bottle spun around before landing on...
"Ezekiel," Chris said. "His dare is: Chew your own booger slowly."
Confessional: Sky
"I would normally take the dare, but now I think it's time to give Jo some punishment after her misdeeds," Sky grinned.
Confessional Ends
Sky smirked. "I dare Jo!" Jo fumed at her. The camera showed the two girls walking past each other. "I hope you don't puke," the athlete taunted.
After Jo sat down and blew her nose into a tissue, Chef grabbed the tissue, scraped off the booger, and put it on a plate. Jo reluctantly chewed on it slowly before swallowing. "Like that's going to keep me down!"
"I'm pretty sure even Shawn would consider that gross," Sky smiled.
"Shut up, Ms. Fair and Square!" Jo shouted.
The shot cut to Brick in front of the wheel with a nervous expression. He spun the wheel and it landed on...
"Beth!" Chris announced. "Re-chewing a wad of Harold's gum."
"I'll take it!" Brick announced, much to Sky and Jo's disgust.
Chris was also disturbed. "Dude. It's chewed gum. Harold's chewed gum."
"I know, but I won't allow my fellow campers to suffer the same fate," Brick declared before chewing the gum.
While that happened, Chef and Chris almost gagged at the dare being performed.
Eventually, Brick's time was done and he spit out the gum. "I'm never chewing gum again."
"Brick wins the first freebie! And a tetanus shot! If you want." Chris announced.
"Give it to me now," Brick said.
Confessional: Brick
"This is much harder than I thought," Brick reflected.

(Commercial break)
"Welcome back to TDI's semi-finals," Chris welcomed the audience. "In a challenge we like to call: 'I Triple Dog Dare You!' Sky, you're up next." The bookworm spun the wheel and it landed on Cody.
"Put ice cubes into your undies and let 'em melt," the host explained.
"I need a freebie, so I'll accept it," Sky said.
Chef held a bucket of ice cubes for Sky. She grabbed the cubes and shoved them in her undies.
"Now that's one cool chick with a frosty tude. Chillin' by the–" Chris coolly started.
"Just give me the freebie!" Sky shivered.
"It's my turn! I don't care what the next dare will be!" Jo stood up and gave the wheel a spin and it landed on Lightning.
Confessional: Jo
"No, I'm not gonna let these two get ahead of me," Jo explained. "How bad can the next dare be?"
Confessional Ends
The static transitioned to Jo watching Chef make a smoothie consisting of protein powder and leftovers from the eating challenge. He blended the ingredients and poured it into a cup.
"And here I thought I could forget about the Brunch of Disgustingness," Jo sighed before taking the cup and slowly drinking the smoothie.
"Have fun brushing your teeth after this," Sky called out.
"Close your mouth before I take it out!" Jo shouted before continuing to drink the smoothie.
After she finished, Jo threw the cup down and looked ready to puke.
Chris watched her discomfort. "You still cool?" he asked Chef, who looked disgusted as well.
The scene cut to Jo laying in a hospital bed with an oxygen mask over her face.
"Okay," Chris said, "we'll give Jo a few more minutes on life support before we start the next round. Chef made snacks. Chocolate smoothies, anyone?" Jo sat up and vomited into her mask.
The others looked at her pain before deciding to drink a smoothie.
The wheel spun and landed on Lindsay. "This can't be so bad," Brick said hopefully.
"Slap Sasquatchanakwa," Chris read.
Brick's eyes widened in shock. "I have to go face to face with him again?"
The camera flashed to the opening of a cave with Brick tip toeing inside. "Please forgive me for this." The sound of a slap was heard. Then a roar. Then his screams of terror. Brick ran out of the cave with Sasquatchanakwa chasing him.
The footage skipped ahead to a bruised Brick as Chris gave him his second freebie. Jo spun the wheel and it landed on Ella.
"Dress up as Tiana from The Princess and the Frog," Chris announced.
"I'll use my freebie!" Jo held up the bottle without hesitation. "I'm not gonna dress up frilly!"
The camera cut to Sky spinning the wheel as it landed on Shawn.
"Eat three dirt muffins in 30 seconds," Chris said. "Quite the predicament, Sky. Do you use the freebie? Or do I save it for an even sicker dare down the road? What to do? What to do?"
"Don't count me out just yet," Sky said with a determined face.
Confessional: Chris
"So freakin' sick. Chef's going down." Chris promised.
Confessional Ends
Inside the Mess Hall, Sky had three muffins placed in front of her. They consisted of dirt, grass, and mud.
"No way. That's so gross!" Chris laughed.
He set the timer, and Sky eventually got to eating the muffins. After she finished, she ran off to throw up.
Sky was back in her seat with throw up still on her mouth.
As Brick went to take his turn, Jo decided to tease Sky. "You should wear a mask if you don't want anyone to die from-" she was cut off by Sky burping in her face.
The camera flashed to the spinning wheel, then panned out to show Brick with a panicked expression. The bottle landed on Courtney and Chris said, "Get sprayed by a family of skunks!" Brick looked disgusted before adopting a determined expression.
The camera panned to Chef bringing in four skunks. Brick walked up to it and took a deep breath.
"You know," Chris told him. "You have two freebies you can use. Better yet, you could dare an opponent. Like say, one without a freebie?"
"No thanks," Brick declined. "I want to move on." Sooner or later, the skunks sprayed all over Brick's body, and after they were finished, Brick now smelt worse than gym socks. Chris's cheeks bulged and he vomited and gave Chef his winnings. The cook smiled before also puking. The camera cut to Jo and Sky, who were also throwing up.
Confessional: Chris
"Okay, that was so gross!" Chris complained in the outhouse with a disgusted expression. His cheeks bulged again and he leaned over and threw up. "Is there nothing these freaks won't do?!"
Confessional Ends
A montage of dares was shown. First after the wheel landed on Harold, Brick was shown eating ice cream in rapid succession. Then when landing on Owen, Sky got hit by nineteen sport balls. The wheel landed on Sadie, and the camera showed Jo skateboarding badly down the cliff's slope. The wheel landed on Amy, and Jo was shown sticking her head inside a toilet. It landed on Eva, and Brick got his leg bitten by an alligator. It landed on Noah, and the camera cut to Chef holding a boxing glove before punching Sky in the face with it.
The camera cut to a close up of Chris. "I can't believe no one's dropped out, and Brick's got twenty freebies!"
The shot cut to the campers, Brick with his freebies and a smile on his face, Jo upset, and Sky tired. "Sky and Jo have squat," the host continued as he walked up to them. "But not to worry. There's still plenty to be motivated about."
Sky grabbed Brick by his shirt. "If you help me take down Jo, I promise to share my winnings with you."
"I help out people for free, but don't you think you're being too vengeful right now?" Brick asked her.
"What do you mean, Brick?" Sky skeptically said.
"You seem to enjoy seeing Jo suffer through these dares," Brick said.
"She's made everyone here suffer the entire summer," Sky mentioned. "I think this should be a suitable punishment."
"I'm with you when you say that Jo's uncooperative, so I'll split my freebies with you, but I don't want you to go overboard," Brick advised the girl while giving her freebies. "That's not the Sky I know."
Sky heard him entirely. "I'll tone it down then."
"Is there a rule about ganging up on me with dares?!" Jo complained. "That's so unfair!"
Chris shrugged. "Sorry. Them's the rules. Not a rule to be had. Nada." Sky spun the wheel and it landed on Heather. "Let Chef feed you ghost peppers for twenty seconds."
Jo cringed at her dare. She stood near Chef and let him shove the peppers in her mouth. When he was done, Jo howled and went to get water.
From there another montage. First Jo was covered in leeches. Then she was acting like a chicken and after that, slapped herself multiple times.
Sky was shown holding up two freebies with a smile. Jo was now lying on the floor eating cockroaches. Then she kissed Chef's sock puppet. And finally she was shot into pig feces.
The montage ended with Sky smirking as she spun the wheel. It landed on Mike.
"Good thing I get a breather," Jo taunted. "What's Mike's dare? Act like a dork?"
"You're not gonna like this one," Chris said. "Drink hot water from Brick's boot."
"What?!" Jo paled.
Brick and Sky high-fived. "I don't typically want to do this, but this will definitely take Jo out," Brick confessed.
"I'll have to thank Mike for this when we meet again," Sky gleamed.
The camera flashed to Jo in a chair with a frightful look. "What's it going to be Jo?" Chris asked. "Are you going to do the dare," the camera focused on Chef holding Brick's boot consisting of hot water, "or the Walk of Shame?" The camera cut to the loser boat.
The camera cut back to Chef, then cut to the canoe full of money. Then it cut back to Chef, then to the gleeful looks of Sky and Brick, then back to Jo. Not wanting to be near the smelly boot, she kicked it away. Unfortunately, the watered boot went up before landing on her face, and the extreme heat made her scream. She got back up, and her face was shown to be red and swelling up.
"Wow. Well, that was an unfortunate accident," Chris noted. "Looks like Jo's out."
"What are you talking about?'" Jo frantically asked. "I had water in my mouth!"
"True, but you didn't actually accept the dare," Chris said. "If you had, you'd have a sore mouth, but at least you'd be in the game."
"Consider this justice for your actions," Sky smiled. "Bad sportsmanship will never get you anywhere."
Jo screamed with rage, to which even the contestants at Playa de Losers heard, and grabbed the host. "Sorry," Chris said falsely. "Them's the rules."
"You said there weren't any rules, McFaker!" Jo seethed.
"Yeah, I know. It's complicated. But here's the rub," Chris snidely continued. "You lose. They win."
Brick and Sky cheered for their victory.
"I should be the one winning this," Jo complained, "but fine. I'll go." She stomped off to the Boat of Losers.
"It's gonna be a long ride," Chris said as they all left the scene.
\
The Boat of Losers drove off with Jo on it. The camera panned to the left to show Chris standing next to the Final Two. "And then there were two," the host said. "Tune in to see who will win the check for one hundred thousand dollars on Total. Drama. Island."
Author's Note: Yep, Jo's finally gone. Naturally she could not make the final two since it's season one. Hopefully the karma she got was good. It was fun to see what I could do with her but in the end, she was doomed to fail.
