SpiritChannelerJosh: When I first watched Kung Fu Panda Holiday, I was curious to learn more about Shifu's family. About the family having an argument about his father's scams back then, that's a great suggestion. But when I started watching "Shifu's Father" episode from Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, I was all like, "Oh, so that's how Shifu ended up at the Jade Palace" I hope that that his family will appear in season 2 of Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight
Here's chapter 3
Chapter 3
Jinjing heads outside of the Palace Arena and finds Shifu standing outside.
"Hey, Uncle Shifu," Jinjing said.
"Hello, Jinjing. You got the sun lantern that Yue gave you?" Shifu asked.
"Yeah. She didn't have to do it," Jinjing said. Shifu was about to say something but the doors opened and Po enters.
"How could my dad say no? 'I rather stay here, do the holiday thing with me!' Yeah, fine, whatever! Well, what about me, dad?! Now I gotta cook all alone!" Po said.
"Hey, Po," Jinjing said.
Po turns around and sees Jinjing and Shifu. "Hmm? Huh? Whoa! Jinjing, Shifu, hey!"
"All alone? You do not have a chef yet?" Shifu asked.
"No, no. Of course, I have a chef. You kidding? No chef? Thatwould be a disaster… hmm," Po said with nervous behavior. Jinjing raised an eyebrow. That was weird. Jinjing thought. She turned to Shifu.
"So, what you were going to say before Po came here?" Jinjing asked.
"I was about to say that she thought that you will need it, she already has a portrait of you, Dongmei, and herself to keep as a memory, (A/N)"Shifu said.
"You're right. I have to get going, I need to do my fitting for the Feast. I'll see you later, Uncle Shifu," Jinjing said hugging Shifu before going inside the Jade Palace.
*KFP*
Jinjing went inside the sewing room. The tailor pig puts on the headdress for the Feast. The pig takes some measurements as Jinjing stands still.
"Your shawl for the Winter Feast is ready, Young Jinjing," the pig said.
"Okay, thank you, sir. May I see them?" Jinjing asked.
"You're welcome. You get to see it tomorrow night, it's in your room," the pig said.
"Thank you. But, please, you can call me Jinjing," she said. After the pig did the measurements for the headdress, Jinjing thanked the tailor and left. She saw Monkey and Crane as she was leaving the sewing room.
"Hey, guys," Jinjing said walking up to them.
Monkey and Crane turned to the young female red panda.
"Hi, Jinjing," Crane and Monkey said at the same time.
"Where are you guys heading?" Jinjing asked.
"We're heading down to the kitchen to see Po," Monkey said.
"Do you mind that if I come too?" Jinjing asked.
"Yeah. Sure," Crane said. So, Crane, Monkey, and Jinjing headed down to the kitchen at the student barracks.
"Po, the table is not set. Have you started cooking?" Monkey told Po.
"We've all had our fittings. Are you ready?" Crane said.
"I'm on it!" Po said.
He really needs help preparing for the Feast. Jinjing thought.
*KFP*
At the Jade Palace, Jinjing walked up to Po, who has the broken pieces of the vase in his hands.
"Po, the vocalist of the band quit. So, what do you think we should do?" Jinjing informed Po. He gasped as he dropped the pieces of the vase.
"I've been waiting for this moment my whole life!" the goose singer said then he started singing tunelessly.
"Let's just go with instrumental," Po said.
"Okay," Jinjing said as she left.
Later tonight, Jinjing is in her room, getting ready for the Feast. Her shawl is silver with faint snowflakes designs laced into it. The shawl went over her blue robes and it's kept closed by a golden clasp. She puts on the headdress on her head. She walked to the Jade Palace, where the table is neatly prepared. She saw the Five.
"Hey, guys," Jinjing said. The Five turned around and saw Jinjing in her formal wear for the Feast.
"You look beautiful," Tigress and Viper said.
"Thank you. Where's Po?" Jinjing asked looking for the panda.
"He went to get the ground jasmine to be flaked at the village," Crane said.
"Oh. Okay. He needs to hurry, the masters are arriving," Jinjing said.
"We need to get ready too," Viper said.
"Oh, yeah. Let's go," Monkey said.
"We'll see you soon," Tigress said hugging the red panda. Jinjing hugged her back.
I know the chapter is short
