Hey guys! Here's a Christmas Classroom of the Elite story by me! I really wanted to write one and had a rough outline in my head for a while - then just as I was getting ready to write it, this particular idea came to me! I hope you like! :)
Disclaimer: I don't own Classroom of the Elite.
It was all happening at the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Neutering High School that evening.
The students were gathered in the sports hall - which had been decorated with bright lights and colourful decorations to mark the time of the year. The youngsters who had gathered there were downing beverages and busting moves to the festive music that were playing out of the speakers mounted to the walls. The noise raised the roof as the elite pupils danced and drank like there was no tomorrow.
They were in the middle of having a Christmas party.
Yet one person who was present wasn't feeling the seasonal spirit everyone else was.
"How pathetic."
Suzanne Horikita was standing by herself near the hall's doors. Her usual scowl was fixed to her face as her arms were folded. Her eyes narrowed as she observed her schoolmates dancing to the Christmas music. As usual, the aloof girl was unimpressed by the behaviour of her fellow students.
"Exams are coming up - and all these losers can think about is this stupid commercial time of the year," Horikita muttered bitterly to herself. "How can they allow themselves to sucked into this madness going on when they should be thinking about their futures?"
"Hey, Horikita!"
The cheerful voice which called to her from nearby caused Horikita to cringe. Knowing instantly who it belonged to, her sour look deepened as she directed it to the person that was running towards her with a smile - who happened to be Kikyō Kushieda.
"What a surprise!" The blonde beamed as she stopped by the raven-haired girl. "I didn't expect to see you here! I never knew you liked to party!"
"I do not!" Horikita insisted as she turned away with disgust. "As you can see, I am choosing not to take part with our schoolmates' juvenile activities going on here!"
"You really should join in!" Kushiedia urged brightly. "We only get parties like this only once a year! Don't you love Christmas, Horikita?"
"No I don't." Horikita turned back towards Kushieda to shoot her icy gaze at her. "I find Christmas to be absolutely repulsive - almost as much as your attempts to be buddy-buddy with me!"
Kushieda's smile disappeared. She pouted over how Horikita was once again rebuffing her attempts to be friends with her as usual. The blonde was annoyed how her rival was not falling for her seemingly cheerful behaviour - which was as false as always.
"Attention, please! Could I have everyone's attention please?"
Everyone's attention was grabbed upon hearing the Christmas music being cut off to be replaced by a familiar voice blaring out of the speakers. They all turned to see standing on a pedestal with a microphone in her hand was none other than Sae Chabashira.
"Sorry to interrupt the party," the teacher spoke into the microphone. "But as you know, the whole reason we're having it is because it's Christmas - and we simply cannot have a Christmas party without a certain someone putting in an appearance..."
As the students all listened to the announcement from the teacher of Class D, the door to the sports hall opened. Chabashira smiled upon seeing who was on the other side as she gestured towards it with her free hand.
"Ladies, gentlemen and students of the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Neutering High School, please give it up for the one and only - Santa Claus!"
Sure enough, a figure wearing a red cloak with a matching hat entered the hall, his face covered by a false beard. All eyes were on him - but nobody was fooled for one minute at they were looking at Santa Claus. Unable to believe who was dressed in the festive attire, they stared in silence towards him - before the sport hall filled with noise again as the students exploded into laughter.
"Ayanōkoji?!" Kushieda squealed in disbelief.
"What are you doing in that stupid costume?" muttered Horikita, the only one not laughing.
Sure enough, the fake beard and the red coat and hat was Kiyotaka Ayanōkoji. He paid no attention to the hundreds of students who were all roaring and laughing at him. He just peered towards the two girls that had addressed him, his golden eyes as empty and emotionless as ever.
"I agreed to put in an appearance for the party dressed like Santa," Ayanōkoji explained in his usual monotone manner. "Chabashira promised to pay me some good points if I did this."
"Oh my!" Kushieda put a hand to her face to stifle a giggle. "You must've really been desperate for those points, Ayanōkoji!"
"Way to sell yourself out!" Horikita shook her head. "You've really gone and made yourself look a fool in front of the whole school - although that's hardly a challenge for you!"
Refusing to rise to Horikita's insult towards him, Ayanōkoji just turned to face the large crowd that was gathered before him. Their laughter over his appearance in the Santa outfit didn't seem to stop. He could even hear some comments being passed amongst them.
"What the hell, dude?!" Ken Sudō howled. "Are you looking to get beat up or what?!"
"That cheerful outfit really doesn't suit you, bro!" Rokusuke Kōenji cackled. "You look like a right dork!"
"Oh I wouldn't say that!" Honami Ichinose smiled. "I think you look adorable!"
"You've really managed to bring a lot of joy to this Christmas party!" Haruki Yamauchi grinned. "Great job, Santa!"
Ayanōkoji said nothing. He just stared at the crowd who were laughing at the sight of him in his costume. His eyes gave nothing away about the dark thoughts he was having towards them which would never cross the mind of the real Santa.
You're all laughing at me right now - but in the end, the last laugh with be on you! he thought. What none of you know is that each and every one of you are my tools! I will be using all of you to reach my goal - and believe me, it won't be to bring any joy to others and leave Christmas presents.
The laughter continued. The students kept pointing and screaming in amusement at the sight of Ayanōkoji in a Santa Claus outfit. None of them had any idea of the eerie thoughts he was having about them that very moment.
After I'm done with you all, I'll discard like a bunch of unwanted Christmas gifts dumped to the second hand store, Ayanōkoji thought sinisterly. Once I win, I'll have no further use for any of you, my little tools...
Thanks for reading! Hope you enjoyed it and it gave you some laughs! Have a great Christmas! :)
