Meanwhile, at the Pentagon, some of Japan's top governmental figures to discuss the recent blackout. A middle-age man white hair spoke.

"Twenty minutes ago, an energy surge knocked out power across Japan," Commander Walters explained. "What do we know?"

"Well, our first instinct was an EMP." The Chief Staff from the Navy said. "But electro magnetic pulses don't have that kind of power."

"NASA has ruled out meteor strikes and solar flares." The Air Force Chief of Staff added.

The Department of Energy says it's not a power planet malfunction." The Secretary of Homeland Security informed.

Well, sounds like we're really good at figuring out what it wasn't." Commander Walters said in sarcasm.

"This could be a prelude to a larger attack." The Army Chief of Staff theorized. "I'm suggesting we scramble the Fifth and Sixth Regiment."

"No, no, no, no." Commander Walters said, shaking his head. "This needs a much more sophisticated mind. Some one who understands technology."

"You want to send a lab rat?" The Army Chief of Staff questioned.

"Not just any lab rat. A lab rat with teeth."

"You're not suggesting who I think you're suggesting." The Air Force Chief of Staff said with a concerned expression.

"I know, he's a little weird." Commander Walters admitted.

"Weird!?" The Air Force Chief of Staff repeated in disbelief.

"No, no, no way!" The Army Chief of Staff stated firmly.

"He's a psychological tire-fire!" The Air Force Chief of Staff exclaimed.

"But he's also brilliant." Commander Walters reminded. "Five PhDs, IQ off the charts, and his drones are revolutionary."

"You're sure he can handle this?" The Army Chief of Staff asked, unconvinced.

"He has the perfect operations record." Walters replied. "Remember the coup in Pakistan?"

"No." The Army Chief bluntly said.

"Or the uprising in Azerbaijanistan?"

"That's not even a country." The Navy Chief replied in confusion.

"Exactly." Walters told him while folding his hands. "And you can thank Robotnik for that."

"I can't believe you're bringing that freak into this." The Air Force Chief mumbled under his breath.

"Neither can I." Walters sighed. "But... we have no choice.

In the baseball field where the blue explosion went off, the military has set up a detachment at the diamond along with some scientists. Suddenly, a large black trunk drove to the scene along with black cars, catching the soldiers attention.

One soldier looked in confusion and spoke. "What the..."

Then a fold-out staircase from the truck opens as a man walks out. He had a black suit and robe, a pair of gloves with buttons, sunglasses and a curly mustache. This is Dr. Julian Ivo Robotnik. Robotnik looked around before walking down his steps and his federal agents exited their cars. With them was a man with black hair and facial hair, this is Agent Stone.

Robotnik approached the soldier before removes his shades as he spoke.

"Are you in charge here?" Robotnik smirked.

"Yes, I am-"

"Nope!" Robotnik rudely interrupted.

"My-"

"Wrong!"

"Name-"

"I'm in charge!"

"Is Major-"

"Me!"

"Ben-"

"I'm in charge." Robotnik whispered to him and showed him his badge held by Stone. "You've never seen anything like this before? It says I'm the top banana, in a world full of hungry little monkeys. Allow me to clarify." He raised his finger and moved it along with his head to the left like a robot. "In a sequentially ranked hierarchy, based on a level of critical importance, the disparity between us is too vast to quantify. Agent Stone?"

"The doctor thinks you're basic." Stone said.

"I'm initiating a sweep sequence." Robotnik said, typing on his glove control panel. "Ten miles in every direction should suffice."

The hatches on top of his truck opened, then came out white egg-shaped drones.

"Is he still looking at me funny?" Robotnik asked.

"Yes he is." Stone answered.

"Tell him to stop, or I'll pull up his search history."

"If you don't stop looking at the doctor, he'll take a closer look-"

"I'm not deaf." Major Ben scowled sternly.

"And tell him his men report to me now, blah blah blah, blah blah blah, blah blah blah."

"Excuse me?" Ben spoke. "Listen, pal, I don't know if you realized but-"

"I'm sorry, Major. What was your name?" Robotnik asked.

"Benimaru-"

"Nobody cares!" Robotnik rudely yelled, getting on Benimaru's nerves as the doctor approached him. "Nobody cares. Listen Mr. Nobody-Cares, you know why nobody cares who you are? Because nobody cares about your feeble accomplishments. And nobody cares how proud your mommy is that you're now reading at a third grade level."

Robotnik circled around him as he continued. "Have you finished reading Charlotte's Web yet? Spoiler alert: She dies in the end and she leaves a creepy egg sack." He then sees his drones flying around as he smiled endearingly.

"Ah, my babies! Ooh! Look what came out of my egg sack! You know what I love about machines? They do what they're told, they follow their programming! They don't need time off to get drunk in the water!"

Benimaru said nothing as Robotnik points at him.

"And you do what you're told. Now stand over there on the edge of your personal abyss and watch my machines do their job."

Benimaru walked away disgruntled.

"Can you feel it Stone?" Robotnik asked his assistant

"I can feel it, doctor." Stone answered.

"It's evolution Stone." He presses buttons on his gloves before clenching his fists. "It's EVOLUTION!"

The drones scanned the forest for clues, one drone surveyed a nearby rock that has a muddy shoe print and scanned it.

Back at Robotnik's trunk, the doctor was watching and controlling the drones as the footprint was displayed on a holographic screen. His trunk was filled with technology no man could invent. Stone arrived and approached Robotnik.

"Agent Stone?" Robotnik said, getting his attention.

"Doctor." Stone responded.

"Do you see anything useful in this image?"

Stone took a good look at the footprint. "Nothing at all, Doctor."

"Of course you don't." Robotnik replied. "Your eyes weren't expertly trained to spot tracks by the Native American Shadow Wolves." The Doctor then typed on the control panel as the image now shows an usual foot.

"That's extraordinary." Stone whispered in shock.

"No. What's extraordinary is I've determined the exact height, weight, and spinal curvature of this creature, and my computer can't find a single match for it anywhere in the Earth's animal kingdom." Robotink explained. "This blackout was not a terrorist attack. And that's no baby Bigfoot. This guy... is something else... entirely."

The Doctor was determined to find the creature that caused the blackout. It was not something from this planet. It is something... otherworldly. He turned to Stone and spoke. "Divert all search units to the sight of the footprint." He ordered his loyal assistant. "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for me."

Within the woods, soldiers were marching with their weapons in hand and dogs in their leashes with drones accompanying them. Sonic was hiding from a tree branch in the distance with a worried expression.

"Okay, Okay, everything is fine." Sonic whispered, despite panicking inside. "You played some baseball, got a little upset, lightning shot out of your butt, and now they're coming for you!" She speeds back to his cave to gather everything he needed before the military could find him.

"Alright, alright, Earth isn't safe anymore." Sonic stated as he grabbed his backpack. "Time for Plan B, Mushroom Kingdom! No, that doesn't go to the tip of the tongue, I'll just call it Mushroomville, that's better. I gotta take my stuff! Okay, essential items only!"

He zipped around his home, gathering the things he needs to escape, from his toothbrush, toothpaste, hair gel, half-eaten watermelon, scented candles, his entire manga collection, and his bean bag chair but it won't fit in his backpack and one more thing.

"The rings! The rings, yes of course!" He zipped to his pouch of golden rings, his precious form of transportation to other worlds. And the last gift he got from Longclaw. "Here we go, ring time. Mushroom Planet, here I come."

As Sonic was about to toss a ring to get to the Mushroom place, he heard barking and turned to see shadows out of the cave. "Oh no, they're right outside! I gotta go somewhere else." As he was about to leave, he took one last look at his home that held memories of his awesome times on the planet.

"Goodbye, cave."

He ran off to find a private place to use his rings, which is the Amatsuka House.

Miharu noticed one of the trash cans getting knocked down. "It seems the raccoons are back."

"I'll take care of it." Tsurara sighed

"Please don't hurt them Tsurara-Neechan, they're just hungry." Watayuki said.

"Don't worry Watayuki, she's probably gonna scare them to death." Rikka teased, making the silver-pigtailed girl glare at her

Sakura heard a noise in the garage and went to go check.

Sonic climbed through the garage window.

"Okay, I'm in." He gets down to the floor, getting dirt all over. "With minimum damage to Office Lady's property."

He reached his pouch and pulled out a Ring. "Here we go, it didn't work on Earth, but that's okay! You're going to a safe world. A nice safe world filled with mushrooms... mushroom that'll be your only friends. That sounds awful, I can't do this! But you have to do it, there's no other option."

He took a deep breath and held the Ring and prepared to toss it transport to the Mushroom world, but then, he heard the garage door open. He sees a little girl with a teddy bear beret coming through the door, which is one of the sisters. They both stared at each other for a few seconds before Sonic lets it out.

"Uh... hi?"

The little girl screamed in fright before running away while screaming. "MONSTER!"

"No wait!" He chased after her to avoid a misunderstanding.

The sisters heard Sakura screaming, running out of the garage door and behind Miharu's leg.

"Sakura, is there something the matter?"

"There's a monster in the garage!"

"A monster?" Haruka said as Yuuna and Seika ran up to her.

"What did it looked like?"

"Was it big?"

"It was blue and has big green eyes!"

"No wait, I'm not a monster!"

All the sisters turned to see a big blue flurry creature that ran out of the garage door. They all get looks of shock and surprise, the blue creature realized he was spotted by all the sisters and stood still, but he had one thing to say.

"Uh... meow?"

Then all the sisters screamed, except for Fubuki who had a straight face like always, including Sonic. Miharu immediately picked up a bat and threw it.

"Oh come on...

Bonk!

"Ow!" Sonic gets all dazed from the hit. Before he could black out, he sees a poster of the tallest building in Japan, Tokyo Skytree.

"To... kyo?"

Sonic dropped the ring as it rolled across the floor then it dropped to the sisters surprise, it expanded and became a portal to the high area of Tokyo. Sonic stumbled and accidentally dropped his Ring Pouch into the portal and landed on the roof of Tokyo Skytree.

"No..." Sonic was all he could say before blacking out as the portal closed. The sisters were all bewildered by what happened right now.

"What... the... hell?" Tsurara blinked.

The sisters have met Sonic! An adventure awaits!
