When I first wrote this story, I originally wanted it to be exclusive to my AO3 page. However, in order for me to focus more on fandoms that i have never written for, I decided to transfer this story over to my FFN page. I kept the original document that this story was originally on, so I easily did the copy-n-paste method for posting new stories. But as for this one, this short, 6-chapter story is about an ancient location known as the Tree of Ancient Carols, home to Carol Cookie and Ginger Claus. When the two are exiled by Dark Enchantress Cookie and her minions, the two of them turn to GingerBrave and his allies for help. However, it's at the end of the story that readers will see if the question is answered or not.

The Tree of Ancient Carols

CHAPTER 1
Once upon a time, a tree was planted in the middle of Carol Square. Known as the Tree of Ancient Carols, it was overseen by Carol Cookie. The tree was one of the biggest trees ever seen on Earthbread. However, while the tree was enjoyed by everyone on Earthbread, one cookie enjoyed the tree as a resource of firewood and evergreen. That cookie was Dark Enchantress Cookie, and she had a way of celebrating Christmas differently on Earthbread. Yes, she was very passionate about her fellow cookies, but she wanted the tree so badly for her Christmas so that no other Cookie on Earthbread could enjoy Christmas.
One day, Dark Enchantress Cookie wanted to go see the ancient tree. But she wanted to do it in a disguise. A disguise that Carol Cookie would not recognize. She and her servants, Licorice Cookie, Pomegranate Cookie, and Poison Mushroom Cookie as well as Red Velvet Cookie and Schwarzwälder, marched to carol Square to confront not only Carol Cookie, but Ginger Claus too, who accompanies Carol Cookie in Carol Square.
Once the group of evil reached Carol Square, Dark Enchantress Cookie and her fellow cookies presented themselves to Ginger Claus.
"What may I do for you, Dark Enchantress Cookie?" asked Ginger Claus. "You don't belong here in Carol Square."
"Fairest Ginger Claus, I have come to inform you that Carol Cookie is now exiled from this land! And you are the same thing too." Dark Enchantress cookie said.
"Do not cite exile to me, Dark Enchantress Cookie." Ginger Claus said. "My servant shall not be exiled from the legendary Tree of Ancient Carols."
"Enough, Ginger Claus!" said Red Velvet Cookie. "Note that the cakes and cookies of Dark Enchantress Cookie shall take over Carol Square, and make it as our own, so that no cookie can celebrate Christmas on Earthbread again! Now go! Leave! NOW! Red Velvet Cookie shouted. Carol Cookie and Ginger Claus later faced their exile, and went to seek out help.
Meanwhile, GingerBrave and his four friends, Wizard Cookie, Strawberry Cookie, Custard Cookie III, and Chili Pepper Cookie, receive a visit from Carol Cookie and Ginger Claus minutes after coming back from a grand adventure in the Hollyberry Kingdom. Wizard Cookie was wondering if Ginger Claus was there to give them all presents for saving the grand Hollyberry Kingdom.
"This is no time to explain!" said Ginger Claus. "Come with me and Carol Cookie! Quick!"
"What's the problem?!" asked GingerBrave.
"It's terrible, GingerBrave." Ginger Caus said. "Dark Enchantress Cookie has exiled us from the Tree of Ancient Carols, and now she is planning to use the tree for firewood!"
"What?!" Custard Cookie III asked.
"Sounds like a job for us heroes who are on the job to save Earthbread!" Chili Pepper Cookie exclaimed. "How about THAT, Wizard Cookie?" she later asked Wizard Cookie.
"Listen, everyone! We must leave! Now!" GingerBrave said. "Quick, everyone! We have to form up! Are you two coming too?" GingerBrave asked Carol Cookie and Ginger Claus.
"We are going to have to come!" Carol Cookie said.
"Alright! Everyone, adventures await us!" GingerBrave said. Everyone later departed on their adventure to get back the Tree of Ancient Carols and scram away Dark Enchantress Cookie and her fellow cookies.
Meanwhile, with Dark Enchantress Cookie and her fellow cookies, Licorice Cookie wanted to do some modifications to the tree.
"Oh, excuse me!" Schwarzwälder said to Licorice Cookie after hearing him. "That tree shall be modified by me, the Choco Werehound Brute of Earthbread!"
"No, Schwarzwälder" Licorice Cookie yelled. "I said something first!"
"Schwarzwälder? Schwarzwälder ?!" Schwarzwälder asked Licorice Cookie excusing him. "I am the CHOCO WEREHOUND BRUTE!" he yelled.
"Did you even let your anger out enough, Schwarzwälder?" Pomegranate Cookie asked.
"I think I did…" Schwarzwälder said. "AAAHHHHH! …Sorry." Schwarzwälder later said.
"Someone needs to control Schwarzwälder…" Pomegranate Cookie said to Dark Enchantress Cookie. Schwarzwälder later looked at the both of them, and said that he was the Choco Werehound Brute. Then, Dark Enchantress Cookie was wondering who was going to stop them.
