On an open road with tons of grass and a clear blue sky, Sonic and the Amatsukas managed to drive far away from Robotnik and his drones.
"Alright everyone, I think we lost him." Miharu said.
"Oh thank goodness." Haruka sighed in relief.
"Alright you, start talking." Tsurara glared at Sonic. "Who are you?"
"WHAT are you?" Urara questioned firmly.
"I'm a hedgehog! I feel like that's obvious." Sonic replied. "And I'm in big trouble."
"Oh, you're in trouble?" Tsurara questioned rhetorically. "You'e not the one who punched and kicked some government weirdo back there!"
"Yeah! And thanks to you, we're on the run!" Urara exclaimed in anger.
"You guys think you have problems? I lost my Rings!" Sonic retorted.
"Rings?" Watanuki questioned.
"Are you getting married?" Sakura questioned.
"Oh my!" Haruka gasped.
"NO! Let me explain, my Rings are how all advanced cultures travel between worlds." Sonic explained, amazing the little sisters. "And now mine are on top of a pointy building I've only ever seen on a large piece of paper stuck to your wall!"
"Tokyo Skytree?" Hikaru said. "You're Rings are in Tokyo?"
"Exactly! So I'd like you guys to take me to Tokyo so I can get my Rings back and use them to go to the mushroom planet."
"I'm sorry, Mushroom planet?" Rikka raised in eyebrow.
"Yes!"
They all blinked and had bewildered expressions. They all looked at each other processing what the blue hedgehog said before looking back at him.
"Miharu, pull over." Tsurara told the oldest sister as Miharu hits the brakes, parking the minibus on the grass.
"Okay blue guy, out." Tsurara ordered, surprising Sonic.
"What?"
"I said get out!" Tsurara shouted.
"Tsurara!" Haruka scolded.
"What? This... thing is dragging us all into this big mess!"
"I agree with her!" Urara nodded. "He can handle this himself!"
"Urara!" Hikaru scolded.
"Look, this is the worst possible time for us to get in trouble, okay!?" Tsurara exclaimed before turning back to Sonic. "Now, go find your Rings and you can go to mushroom kingdom or whatever and we'll never see you again, got it!?"
"Now, goodbye!" Urara shouted.
Sonic stared at them before signing. "Okay. Goodbye." He stepped out of the truck.
"You're leaving?" Yuuna questioned in surprise.
"Already?" Seika asked.
They see Sonic still standing there.
"Goodbye!" Tsurara exclaimed, but Sonic's still standing on the same spot. "Why the hell aren't you leaving?"
"I don't know where Tokyo is." Sonic replied.
"It's west." Urara told him.
"West?"
"Yes, go straight, It's not hard to miss." Tsurara nodded.
"Fine. That's cool. I'm totally saying goodbye now. So... goodbye." Before they can blink, Sonic zipped off to the direction they told him.
"Wow!" Seika exclaimed. "He's so fast!"
"Amazing!" Watanuki and the other younger sisters had sparkling eyes.
"Oh my, I never see someone run so fast." Haruka said.
"He's like a mini Iida from My Hero Academia!" Rikka said in amazement.
"But much much faster!" Yuuna said.
"Alright, he's gone. Let's go home." Tsurara bluntly said.
"But isn't that crazy doctor man back there and waiting for us?" Hotaru questioned.
Before Tsurara could say anything, Sonic zipped back looking all wet, covered in seaweed and had a fish on his head. The girls all looked surprised at his sudden return.
"What the..." Tsurara blinked.
"He's back!" Nijiko pointed.
"And he stinks!" Mari held her nose.
"Hey, we told you to go!" Urara said. "Why did you come back!?"
"Well, I crashed into the cold, dark water of the Pacific, I realized a few things. A, I have no idea where I'm going. B, saltwater stings. C, I shouldn't even be on this planet right now, but I am! Why!? Because you bonked me!"
"I'm so sorry." Miharu apologized.
"You bonked me!" Sonic shouted.
"Don't shout at our sister like that!" Tsurara said.
"I'm wet, I'm cold, there's a fish on my head!" He yelled. "And clearly, I can't do this on my own.
The girls all glanced at Sonic as the fish on his head slips off.
"Can we, Miharu?" Haruka asked her older sister.
"He really needs help." Hikaru pleaded.
Miharu glanced her sisters while Tsurara and Urara shook their heads before turning to Sonic with a smile.
"Okay Sonic, we'll help you."
"WHAT!?" The two man-hating sisters yelled in shock.
"Really!?" Sonic excitedly said before shaking all the water off, making his fur poof up. "You're gonna help me!?"
"Of course," Miharu smiled. "I'm not the kind of person who'll leave someone on their own, I'm not heartless and so aren't we, right sisters?"
"Yeah!" The sisters expect for Tsurara and Urara agreed.
"Tsurara, Urara, I know you two don't trust him but for once listen to yourselves, you both need to let go of your dislike for men." Miharu spoke to them. "I know dad was never around and was never a good father to us but that doesn't mean you have to hate all men for that, you two need to learn that not all men are like that."
"But Miharu..."
"Tsurara."
Tsurara stared at her sister before sighing in defeat. "Alright, we'll help him."
"B-But..."
"Urara."
Urara just let out a huff and looked away.
"She'll grow up." Miharu turned to Sonic. "Besides, it's kinda my fault you're stuck here."
"Well not kinda. Entirely. It's entirely your fault."
"He's right, Miharu." Mizore nodded.
"I know," Miharu sighed. "Well, are you coming?"
"YES!" Sonic cheered before hopping back to his seat next to Watanuki. "Road trip! whoop, whoop!"
"Yay! Road trip!" The younger sisters, except Urara, cheered as the older ones, except Tsurara, smiled.
"I can't believe this is happening to us." Tsurara sighed quietly due to the situation they're in.
Later that day, the vehicle drove through the place with no crazy doctor and dangerous drones in sight.
"All right, there's going to be rules on this trip." Miharu spoke to Sonic and the younger sisters. "Rule number one, you will do exactly what we say."
"Yes Miharu-Neechan." The younger sisters nodded.
"Got it, Office Lady's first daughter." Sonic gave her a thumbs up.
"Well, I have a name, it's Miharu."
"Oh, okay Miharu."
"And these are my sisters," She turned to her sisters and pointed at them one by one by name. "Mizore, Haruka, Hikaru, Hotaru, Tsurara, Rikka, Kosame, Urara, Seika, Yuuna, Fubuki, Watanuki, Mari, Mizuki, Sakura, Nijiko, Sora and Asahi. We are the Amatsukas."
"Well, it's nice to meet you all, I'm Sonic."
"Sonic? What a nice name." Haruka said.
"It matches the way you run fast." Rikka said.
"Okay Sonic, let me get this straight." Tsurara glared. "You've been spying on us for all these years?"
"Well, I wouldn't call it "spying". We were all just hanging out, only I wasn't invited and no one knew I was there."
"It still sounds like spying to me." Urara scoffed.
"But don't worry! I respect people's privacy!" Sonic defended.
"I can't believe Crazy Carl was right." Hikaru said.
"All this time!" Rikka exclaimed.
"Yeah, you should call him Super Observant Carl instead." Sonic quipped.
"But he's still crazy to me." Tsurara rolled her eyes.
Sonic turned around and looked out of the window and gasped. "Oh my god! Stop the car, right now!"
"What? What is it?" Hikaru asked.
"Did that crazy man find us!?" Kosame panicked.
""The World's Largest Rubber Band Ball"!? We gotta go see it!" Sonic exclaimed in excitement, seeing the billboard with the said rubber band ball.
"Are you serious!? This isn't a fun family road trip!" Tsurara shouted. "The government wants to dissect you and arrest us!"
"Yeah!" Urara agreed.
"He's gone." Rikka spoke.
They see Sonic no longer on his seat.
"You've got to be kidding me." Tsurara groaned, but then Sonic zipped back with tons of merchandise in his hands.
"Eh, you're right, it was lame. Gift shop was cool though." Sonic said as he handed them the merchandise and held a mouse pad. "Look, I got you a mouse pad." He gave it to Tsurara.
"When are we gonna get there?" Sonic plays held a kendama and plays with it with a playful smile.
"We'll get there when we get there." Miharu smiled at him, seeing him as a... brother.
After a few hours, it got dark. The minibus parked to a nearby gas station, the Amatsuka sisters all exited it expect for Sonic who has to stay hidden.
"Alright Sonic, we're gonna go talk with a friend of our mom." Miharu explained.
"Don't get caught, or we'll get in trouble." Hikaru said.
They walked to a telephone booth as Miharu and Hikaru got inside of it.
"They're gonna see your friend in that glass thing?' Sonic questioned. "What is it, a teleportation box?"
"It's called a pay phone." Tsurara explained. "It's mostly for criminals and fugitives from the law, like us."
"Sonic, please stay inside, we don't want anyone seeing you." Haruka said as she walked off with the other sisters.
"Ugh, fine." Sonic groaned.
"Be safe, Sonic!" Yuuna waved as she followed her sisters.
Sonic decides to entertain himself by pretending he's driving the vehicle. He made engine noises while steering the wheel.
Then something catches his attention which made him gasp in shock, a bar full of people having a good time.
"Okay, okay, that is the coolest place on Earth, but you have to stay in the car!" Sonic told himself, trying not to get out.
He tried to look away, but he saw them singing karaoke music, eating good food, and playing games. The blue hedgehog hyperventilates, fogging up the glass on the window before wiping it off and fighting back his excitement while rocking back and forth on the driver's seat.
"Be strong, be strong!"
He stops and spots a van selling T-Shirts and sunglasses. The hedgehog gained a sly smile, an idea in his head.
Back with the sisters, Miharu and Hikaru were in the telephone box as they called a friend of their mother.
At their mother's agency, a man looked intense as he sat on his desk. This is Wada, their mother's secretary. He hears the phone ring and answers it.
"Hello?"
"Hello Wada, it's me Miharu."
"Hi, I'm so glad you called." Wada replied.
"Hey Wada, we're in a situation right now." Hikaru said.
"Really? So am I."
"What do you mean?" Miharu asked.
"Well, Uh, some guys came in asking some questions. They're a little creepy." Wada chuckled nervously.
"What do these guys look like?" Hikaru questioned.
"Well, they kinda look like they're from the American movie, Men In Black." Wada explained. "They were asking me about some things like... terrorism. I told them I knew you girls for some time, but they don't know how to make a bomb!"
"What? Terrorsim?" Miharu questioned. "Wada, don't tell them that we talked, okay? This is very important."
Wada turned his head, revealing to be Robotnik and Stone staring at him menacingly.
"I think they already know."
Robotnik snatched the phone from his hand.
"Ms. Amatsuka."
The sisters gasped, hearing Robotnik's voice.
"Oh no, not him." Tsurara groaned.
"I want you to know that the only person who ever punched me in the face and was the school bully." Robotnik explained his story. "He hit me in the cafeteria, causing a blunt-force contusion to the soft tissue surrounding my orbital bone. Humiliated me in front of the entire school! And you know what I did in response?"
"You told the principal?" Rikka asked.
"That kind of behavior is unacceptable." Haruka said.
"No, I examined the inefficiency of a world where brawn trumped brain, and I used technology to resolve that inefficiency. The boy ate his meals through a straw for a year. And I have never lost a fight... until today."
The sisters were shocked at his backstory as they looked at each other in worry.
"Worry for us then." Tsurara groaned.
"No, because you're about to become the bully with the straw! I'm coming for you, Amatsukas. And when I catch you, I'll-" He heard the phone cut off. "Hello? Hello, hello, hello?"
"I think she hung up, because I noticed the light isn't on..."
"Thank you, Mr. Brainfart." Robotnik insulted Wada.
"If you give me a second I can get an outside line..."
"No, don't be bothered, just sit there and be U... seless." Robotnik said, storming out of the building with Stone following.
"So, no one's gonna erase my memory?" Wada questioned. "I will tell my boss that you're threatening her daughters!"
Back with the sisters, they were carrying some snacks for the road.
"Okay, this may not be healthy, but it will fill us up until we get to Tokyo." Hikaru said.
"Yeah, I'd rather not travel with an empty stomach." Rikka nodded.
"Yeah, but I can't believe that hedgehog is dragging us into this mess." Tsurara sighed.
"Tsurara, Sonic needs help to get his Rings," Miharu spoke. "If he gets them back, he'll leave."
"I think Sonic is a good guy!" Sora happily said. "He's super fast!"
"And he's really cool!" Yuuna said. "I like him, it's almost like he's a... brother."
The sisters looked at Yuuna in surprise.
"What do you mean?" Urara asked.
"I mean, another part of me doesn't want him to leave."
"Yuuna, Sonic said he shouldn't be here," Miharu said. "And if he wants to leave, that's his choice."
"I also don't want him to leave." Sakura softly said. "He may scared me, but he didn't attacked me."
"I don't want Sonic to leave either." Seika spoke. "He can be very funny."
"Like a court jester." Mari smiled.
"The Rings he told us sound very interesting." Fubuki mused. "Advanced cultures using them to travel worlds, intriguing."
The sisters thought about it, should Sonic leave their planet or not? Other parts of them are saying that they don't want him to go to another world and leave Earth. They reached their vehicle and packed up the snacks.
"Alright Sonic, are you ready to... go?" Hikaru looked in the minibus, seeing Sonic was gone. "Sonic?"
"Where did he go?" Haruka questioned.
Rikka turned around and gasped, seeing the bar.
"Girls, I think I know where he is." She pointed at the said place.
"You've got to be kidding me." Tsurara groaned.
"Come on!" Miharu exclaimed, as the sisters ran to the place before some one could find Sonic and report him to the authorities, or worse... Robotnik.
