Chapter 7
The ride over on Gaff's ship was very pleasant, especially when I was able to have a small nap to rest my body. Sure, it had since lost all of its wooden properties aside from the part that my head could pop off at any point, but it was nice to relax. And I trusted that Gaff could watch over us in case any spies wanted to steal me, Pikarina, or Calibrus away.
And when I was asleep, I found that I was able to see my body back on Earth. It was currently in the hospital and I saw that my parents were nowhere to be found, a couple doctors were changing an IV on me, and my brother was the only one that was there to watch over me.
"I don't know what happened to you... it's almost like you entered into an endless dream... I'd kill to hear your voice right now. I have to wonder what kind of dream you're having to be sleeping for so long," my brother smirked. For those wondering, he was my older brother of 21 and my legal guardian, since my parents were both too busy to care for him or me. And by that, I meant they were in prison for trying to dodge taxes. It was just a relief that none of it trickled down to my brother or me. I smirked at him saying that to me as he rubbed my purple head gently with his hand.
"If only you knew what kind of dream I was having... no one would believe it," I smiled... and of course, he heard nothing afterwards. But then, I was surprised when another voice spoke.
"I can't believe that it happened the same day that our kids all got placed in their comas... why did it have to hurt her as well?" asked Misses Bundler, me being surprised that she cared enough to watch over me from outside the door, and with the other Bundler members! And when I looked out of the room, I was shocked that there were a whole slew of neighbors that were in there and worrying about me!
"Wow... they really do care... now I know I have to go home. Mark my words, I will stop the Moon Bear King and I will rescue the children he has harmed, the Goddess of the Moon, Pikarina, and all the different Generals that have been brainwashed by those Moonstones!" I said with seriousness... and I then saw the dream fade as my eyes opened up to the sound of Gaff shouting one word.
"LAAAND HOOOOOO! ! !" he shouted loudly, me groaning as I groggily got up with Pikarina, me seeing that Calibrus was still in my grasp and that Rat was still sleeping in my shirt pocket.
"Ugh... talk about a rude wake-up call..." Pikarina groaned.
"Yer tellin' me... I almost forgot how much I hate Cap'n Gaff's alarm... 'is voice," Cut-Lass said in my head as I then moved my face to a nearby bucket of water and splashed my face with it, which helped wake me up.
"Okay, now time to go to the Wild Wastes... and just in time for the sun to come out," I smiled.
"Be careful when ya go ashore, mates! The Wild Wastes are always in the sunlight and never knows night! Temps can be crazy hot, too!" Gaff smirked as I then simply had Pikarina fly me over the waves and to the desert coastline, us then moving further inland over the hump of the moon. And when we did, I immediately felt the heat from the sun on my back. I managed to make it without issue for roughly 1 hour before I finally started to tucker out, just in time to reach the road.
"Ugh... it's so hot... my feet are burning... my body is making another ocean of salt water... when are those two barnyard animals going to show up?" I asked in a huff of annoyance as Pikarina then looked at me with seriousness.
"Come on, stop complaining! When daddy's giving people 'the look' he doesn't like it when they slouch over!" Pikarina complained as I sighed as I started to use Calibrus like it were a crutch.
"Gimme a break, Pika... hagh... I live in southern Pennsylvania... it was in the middle of autumn when I got poofed here... I got accustomed to cool air long ago... this heat is more like Phoenix, Arizona... I'm more of an Articuno than a Moltres, if that makes sense..." I sighed, her groaning before we then heard honking, me looking behind me and smirking. It was the two animals of the hour in Bull and Horse, both of whom being in very fast cars.
"Ah! Let's hitch a ride!" Pikarina said, me going to the side of the road and doing something differently. I waited patiently (IN THE SHADE!) and, as the duo got closer, closer, ever so closer... I timed it just right and, right before they could pass us, I forced Calibrus's blade forward, extended it, and expanded it into a giant wall! And when I did, the duo of Horse and Bull collided head-on into the giant blade before then flying out of their demolished cars and into the nearby cliffside! And when I did, I gawked at how I heard a voice coming from Bull's car.
"!Ay Carumba! They FINALLY stopped the cars?! I sense Calibrus nearby! A bit of help, please?" said the voice of a female with a latino accent! I immediately fished in Bull's car and then found and equipped the Wrestler's powers on my face, which she then spoke after.
"!Asombroso! I am BACK BABY!" she spoke with excitement as Bull and Horse then finally came over to me and Pikarina with fury in their eyes.
"Look at what you two little punks have done! I was just inches away from defeating this wench!" Bull growled in anger as Horse then got into a struggle of strength with her 'husband'.
"And I was this close to being the victor over this no-good bovine!" she said with a whinny of fury as I spoke.
"Peh, I thought it was a tie," I said, the duo then getting even more mad at me saying that.
"SHUT UP!" they both shouted at the same time as I smirked.
"Naw, I want to say that I can beat both of you with Calibrus tied behind my back... or do you not see that sign that's literally plasted on the road next to you?" I asked, the duo growling before looking at the sign in question. It was the sign of me and my bounty, it being as high as 10 trillion Moonsparkles!
"Oh wow! Look at the zeros on that bounty! And you two care more about racing go-karts than going after a prize like that? That's sad," Pikarina said, the duo getting mad afterwards.
"I'll show you, pixie!" Horse growled as she tried to grab Pikarina, but she simply shot a blast of fire at Horse, me smirking at that.
"Now, now, ladies, I have another way we can settle this debate of who is better," I said, Horse looking at me with anger.
"And what would that be, little lady?!" she growled.
"Yeah! What the hell kind of trick is this?! I have half a mind to Mooooove you underground!" Bull shouted in anger as I simply looked at the train tracks next to us and the horse that was in a stable nearby. And in the far distance was the train station that was by the coliseum.
"First one to the train station down there is the winner. But the catch is this. If we win, we get your moonstone shards. If you win, you get to take us to collect the bounty," I said, Bull growling at me.
"Give YOU our Moonstone Shards?! OHOHO! Give me a break, a little thing like you doesn't deserve those things!" Horse laughed as I then smirked.
"Oh, I see how it is. You're scared you're going to lose," I smiled.
"WHAT?!" Bull asked.
"You know, I heard that steak goes well with chicken. And who happens to live in the stables with the chickens? Cows and horses, of course! Bock bock bagock booock!" I smirked in the most mocking manner that I could, Horse then growling and going to the train tracks and turning into a true Iron Horse.
"YOU ARE ON! But when this is over, you are going to be crying like the baby you are!" she growled at me as Bull then got on the locomotive wife and mooed loudly.
"You are going down! DOWN! Moo hear me?!" he shouted in anger as I smirked.
"I'm sure Moo can hear you, but I'm not Moo. I'm Minsie Carver. Know the name well, because it will be forever known as the one who beat you two to the finish line, fair and square," I smirked as the wrestler spoke in my head.
"And I am El Diabla Chikita! But you may call me Chikita," she said as she introduced herself to me, Rat, and Pikarina as I then got to the horse with Pikarina and she looked at me with concern as I mounted the horse.
"Are you sure about this?" she asked, me smirking at her.
"Trust me, I know exactly what I'm doing," I smiled at her as I then had Calibrus in hand.
"On your marks! Get set! GOOO! ! ! ! !AAAARIBA! ! ! !" shouted the Wrestler in my head as I then made my trusty steed start to run down the canyon as I saw that Horse was starting to cheat by throwing a whole bunch of dynamite at us, but I had a plan. As we got side-by-side, I extended Calibrus and stabbed it to my side to derail the caboose and car in front of it, both of which were still attached to Horse's train! And when this happened, Horse immediately lost a ton of traction as I got a huge lead! Only when Bull let the cars go did Horse start to gain on me!
"She's gaining on us!" Pikarina shouted as my horse kept running hard, me giving it some strength with a carrot, which made it run faster! Of course, Horse was trying to beat us to the punch. But then we entered the tunnel, where I proceeded to use the dysmal lighting to advantage. When Horse wasn't paying attention to in front of her in the darkness, I snipped Calibrus across her train tracks! And when I did so, Horse shrieked as she derailed so hard that she and Bull both got stuck in the tunnel at the same time! And by the time they finally reached the train station, I'd been there for roughly 4 minutes!
"YOU! YOUUUU! YOOOOOOUUUUUU! ! !" Horse growled at me as I then smirked.
"Yes, me. Because I won," I smirked at her.
"YOU CHEATED! And now you are going to-" she was going to say before I then proceeded to slash at her engine body with Calibrus and she gawked at how I'd taken off her back half!
"GAH! Okay, okay! TAKE IT!" she shouted in shock and pain as she gave me the Moonstone and then Bull growled and tried to attack me, but I was prepared for his attack. Before he could grab me with his horns, I grabbed them with the powers of the wrestler and proceeded to throw him into the train station! I then got to him while he was dazed and proceeded to slam him on the head, which conked him out as I got the Moonstone Shard that was his left horn! I then spoke four words.
"Little Horse! Little Bull!" I smirked, the duo then immediately shrinking back to their original selves and looking around in complete confusion before then seeing each other.
"B-Bull..."
"Horse..." they said as they then crawled to each other as I saw tears in their eyes.
"I'm so sorry, Bull! I'm never going to challenge you again!" Horse cried as she hugged Bull with tears in her adorable eyes.
"And I'll never fight with you again..." Bull said with tears as Pikarina looked at them in confusion.
"Um... is there something I'm missing here?" she asked as I then noticed that one of the members of the train station was a terribly disguised General Monkey, me smirking at how he was a witness to what I'd say.
"Simple. The Moonstone Shards were making them the complete opposite of what they used to be, that being a married couple who love each other madly. With those rocks on their persons, they became hostile, furious, and completely incapable of being nice to each other," I said, Bull sniffling at me.
"I thank you, brave female warrior... I am forever grateful to you," he said, me smirking at him.
"You are welcome," I smirked before then warping them back to Waxwane, which I could tell made Monkey surprised as I then looked at him and him alone and spoke three words. "You're next, Monkey," I said, him immediately gasping and running off down the road, Pikarina gawking at me as Rat shouted in shock:
"MONKEY?! General Monkey?! You saw him?!" he asked.
"He's going this way! Let's chase him!" I shouted as we then ran down the road, getting a small drink from a lemonade stand on the way just to refuel our systems. We had to get the jump on the ape before he said anything to the Moon Bear King! Then we could listen in on whatever he said to the ursine!
