AUTHOR'S NOTE: I would like to thank you all for your support in this fic. I was surprised to get such quick feedback when I have only published the prologue of this fiction I have written years ago. Wasn't really expecting this would get much attention but color me surprised.

I was quite a fan ever since the Original RWBY was released and has toned my excitement down 2 almost 3 years now since I have been busy with my personal life.

Been reading some really RWBY fanfiction written by Coeur Al'Aran along with a few writers on this site and rewatching the original RWBY brought back some old feelings. Making me look back at the things I created back then and my pile of documents where I saw my draft for this fic.

Since I'm trying to write an original novel, I decided to practice my skills in this one without too much pressure from worrying about making mistakes that are hard to edit. English isn't exactly my native language.

Here in this fic, I'm gonna try to write a quite realistic original character that is supposed to be the odd loner of an influential family from the future world being transported in the RWBY world she loved when she was young along with those troublesome companions she herself put into.

Why is she a loner when her family background is upper class?

Well, I'm not sure what came to my head when I typed it down and I really don't want to spoil much of what I have planned but do expect a not-so-normal MC whose thinking is like a TV that could flip channels rather quickly...

Like really. I'm not sure about others but after reading it like as if I'm a reader, it feels... Hmm. Strange and what?

Anyway, have fun!

Chapter 1

The New Reality (1)

The remnants of the moon hung in the night sky.
As the howling wind breezed across the land, whispers of a certain team could be heard in the first-year dorm building, on the second floor.

"All good~" Rosalyn sang brightly as she slid right next to Azura who stood alongside the rest of her team, staring at the aftermath of the quick rearrangement of their dormitory room.

Azure, the team leader of Amethyst, for whatever mental energy she has left, didn't know whether she should just call it a day and head towards her bed to rest, and maybe, by the time she woke up again, it would be all just some vivid dream after falling asleep with the VR equipment still on or continued rearranging their stuff to make more space.

Their room was quite standard. Four beds with matching sheets. Near the hall exit, on both sides of the wall are two sets of dark brown, solid wooden desks with a small lamp atop, small overhead shelves, and a single short book set in front of the large window.

And lastly, on the left corner side of the walls of their room is a door leading to their bathroom, which they took advantage of by taking turns while arranging their stuff.

Their room is okay but since the beds took up quite a lot of space to talk between... It feels a bit cramped.

Looking at the faces of her team, aside from Yuki's un ever-changing expression while watching the view outside, Azura didn't need to be a psychic to know that they were also tired after the long day of their initiation.

Telling them to call it a day, they agreed without any complaint for the night's rest and claimed their chosen beds.

Azura chooses the bed near the left wall, Rosalyn chooses the bed next to her, then Evelyn chooses the third bed while remarking something about keeping Yuki away while he just silently claims the last bed on the right wall.

"Goodnight everyone," Rosalyn said, eyes slowly closing as she sink into her bed, covered in the white fluffy blanket she brought in.

"Goodnight," Said Azura. Laying on her back as she ignores Evelyn and Yuki's stare down, closing her eyes in the vain hope of what will come tomorrow.

As the light in their dormitory turned off, silence descended for the rest of the night.

When Azura regained consciousness from a dreamless night, she stared at the ceiling, taking in all the events of yesterday.

Starting from the day she found a VR game set named Remnant in the basement of her home. In the thin guidebook she had read, she recognized the game was created in the form of the RWBY series she was once a fan of when she was a young kid.

In a rapidly changing world where a lot of mind-blowing games, especially VR games where you could earn a lot of high-pay money, all kinds of services, and other stuff are being released either nationwide or globally. Whether it was because of old feelings, Azura still couldn't help but take interest in this game.

She should be earning her pocket money to buy that new online novel that caught her eye without bothering her parents however, she decided to put her time to experience the world of Remnant and try to interact with the characters that gave her entertainment when she was a young kid.

She didn't expect a lot however, this game went beyond what she anticipated.

Similar to many VR games she played so far, it was an open world that simulated reality. Not only there wasn't a single bug or glitch, but there were also so many options she could do and be in this game. It fascinated her.

From what she experienced, if this game were to be released to the public, it could even rival those rising games with its advanced mechanics.

Seriously, why wasn't this game famous? Unlike those other games that still have a bit of a limit, she could literally choose who to become and do what she wants in Remnant. To the as simple as picking a small rock on some random path, to choose her very own history and her starter point.

While it was tempting to become a mercenary huntsman or a criminal for her to experience, she decided to go with her original plan to watch and interact with the canon characters first hence why she picked to start in Vale as a first-year student enrolled in Beacon Academy.
After creating her companions with backgrounds that could relate to her, she sets off to the initiation in Beacon Academy, watching the interaction of other students like a true bystander and even managing to have a few conversations with some of the canon characters as if they were real people! Even the way their expression shifted due to her action, fits right on her card!

Awesome graphics, mechanics, and even the AI are so great that she played it for hours, roleplaying like a good and odd huntress in training that is really from Remnant.

Everything was going great, letting the original teams be formed and be in her created team however, something weird started to happen the moment she touched the chess piece.

It glitched and suddenly... everything became too real.

The air she breathed. The cool feeling of the wind brushing against her skin. The steps she took. It all became vivid as if she was back in the real world.

At first, she wasn't that bothered since the sensation was set to the maximum but, when she almost fell from the cliff when they were climbing up and saw the blood coming out from her hand and felt the stinging sensation, that's when the reality of her situation finally kicked in.

Till the end of the day, it was almost a miracle she managed to stay cool after finding out the log out is missing.

"It's all real," Azura whispered, not knowing what she should feel about this.

DING!

/ TASK: BEACON'S MANDATORY CLASSES /

Attend Beacon Academy First day of classes with your Teammates.

Blinking a couple of times, she stared at the screen before sighing.

She quietly got out of her bed and glanced at her teammates with mixed feelings.

Underneath the sunlight streaming in the curtains. Lying in their chosen beds, Rosalyn, clothed in white pajamas have her hair loose like a flowing river behind her back and was curled up into a fetal position with her blanket covering her lower body.
Yuiki, shirtless with only his pajamas. lay flat on his straight back. His expression for once doesn't feel too cold and looked quite peaceful and pleasing to the eyes while his body fully showed its full six packs as if trying to slap those images into her mind.

And as for the third one she had been trying to ignore, unlike the two that were more reserved, Evelyn was laying flat on her back. Snoring with that odd smile stuck on her face, her limbs were spread wide while her drool dripped at the corner of her lips. She would have been like a child in Aira's eyes had it not for her... Current appearance.

Her black and orange pajama was barely bottomed. Almost shows those two large fats on her chest that rose and fell while her stomach, much to Azura's surprise also has a full six-pack of abs that could even rival the refined physique of Yuki.

"..."

Touching her flat stomach, Azura turned her head away. Pouting as she walks towards the bathroom with the intention of freshening up and changing into her school uniform.

Aside from her envy of their body's fitness, who would have thought that her own teammates whom she personally wrote and created in the intro run would suddenly become real and alive?

Are they... Really real?

Closing the door behind her, Azura took off her pajamas and stepped inside the shower. Feeling the cold flow of the water flowing above her head like a waterfall, Azura began to organize her thoughts.

Azura would be a fool if she thinks the original plot would still be the same.

With their appearances and their backgrounds she herself wrote, she knows, many things have changed.

Ruby, the supposed to be only left silver-eyed, was not alone anymore.

Azura whose origin was an abandoned baby in a faraway village known as Leaf. According to her history, she grew up with Evelyn. They met when Evelyn was being bullied by having two horns on her head and she saved her thus resulting in them getting close and becoming best friends who have each other's back like true sisters.

Unlike Rosalyn who grow up in Atlas with a protective mother and Yuki who she saved after he assassinated his entire organization and fell in a river, her childhood friend, Evelyn, is someone who has the distinct familiar appearance of a certain dusty crow or raven since she is a female.

With pursed lips, Azura could somehow imagine the trouble she would face in the near future.

'If I had just known this would happen in the beginning then I wouldn't have written about those kinds of origins... Like, come on, a boy somehow slaughtering an entire assassin organization and an illegitimate daughter of Qrow Branwen? Isn't that the same as telling the universe to get me to be more involved in this?'

If there's someone Azura's gonna blame for this, she would blame her fangirl consciousness that started this whole thing.

Turning off the water, Azura dried herself with a towel before clothing herself with a Beacon's female uniform in her inventory before stepping back into the room where she saw the broad scarred back of Yuki that stood in front of one of the desks, his hand closing the black bag with Beacon's male uniform in hand.

Those scars... It was hard to look at it knowing this was what she wanted his life to be.

"Good morning," Azura greeted him almost shakily with a smile. Her eyes lingered on his scars, especially on his nose, his cheek, and around his neck with an uncomfortable heartbeat in her chest.

To think that I thought it would be cool...

Yuki paused, giving her a nod and brief low greeting, "Good morning."

Without a further glance, Yuki passed by her, making her smell an odd scent in his body that made her think it was somewhat related to a plant. Perhaps a herb plant?

Watching him step inside the bathroom, and close it with a click of its lock, Azura's expression cracked, sort of guilty before she quickly composed herself.

'Not my fault. They weren't supposed to be real from the start.'

She wrote Yuki as an assassin that went mad against his organization after they killed his mother who adopted him and trained him. She didn't practically have any other thoughts than think of it as a cool background who gained his skills from all of that while giving his loyalty to her and acting as a spy agent for her.

'I...'

"Kekeke," Hearing the strange low laugh, Azura snapped out of her thoughts and look at Evelyn who is still sleeping yet laughing weirdly while her finger twitched, "Kneel before me hehe~"

"... Jeez," Azura couldn't help but mutter, "What are you dreaming?"

Hearing the whistle from a certain room of another team nearby, Azura thought of those girls in team Ruby before shaking her head and moving to wake the two up.

She easily woke Rosalyn up, making her slowly rise like one of those delicate beauties she often saw on the UTube web, blinking cutely as she rubs her sleepy pale blue eyes.

"What is it?" She softly asked, her sleepy eyes still blinking at her.

"Rise and shine Rosalyn," Azura said with a chuckle, "Sorry to wake you up - Got classes today."

"Oh..."

How cute, Azura thought of her.

As for Evelyn... Not cute. At. All.

"Evelyn," Azura forced out through her lips as her body couldn't help but tense while her neck was locked against this damn steel-like arm and her face was buried against the two soft fat of this girl's chest.

Azura Tempest was someone that was supposed to be like a sister to Evelyn. While her character is also someone that doesn't like to be touched, Evelyn's quirky closeness should have been something she's used to.

However. She is also Azura Digmaan, the odd daughter of one the rising influential family in her country. More of a shut-in than an aristocratic lady that couldn't get close to anyone because of her weird temper.

And after years have passed since she has given up the so-called closeness between friends, this girl... Was the first to break that record.

"Hehehe~ Come... to papa~"

Not knowing where to touch or know how to get out of such an awkward posture, Azura turned her head, and shouted, almost desperate to get out without harming the other, "Wake up!"

"Don't... Disobedient."

"Evelyn, wake up!" Her composer wavers as she tried to shake her awake but it only made Evelyn's grip tighter, burying her head deeper into the softness she has never experienced from someone. Evelyn hugged her as if she was a big teddy bear.

"Oh my..."

Hearing Rosalyn's dazzled voice, Azura gritted her teeth while a pinkish blush appear on her cheek. She could already imagine what kind of embarrassing posture Rosalyn is currently seeing from them. Adding to that, she could literally feel the fined muscles on this girl's body.

'I'm gonna die of embarrassment at this rate! I need to wake her up somehow,' Aira thought, wishing she can just slap this girl awake. If I can't wake her up normally, within that thought, she tickled this girl in the hopes of waking her up.

Fortunately, it worked, finally awakening her with a startled cry.

"H-hey! Who... Ah, Hey Azu~"

Azura immediately broke free the moment her hold loosen, stepping a few steps back in fear she might grab her again.

Blinking innocently at Azura, Evelyn grinned sheepishly, not even bothering to wonder why Azura was in her arms or how much her unconscious action disturbed her childhood friend, and just stretch her limbs.

At the same time, Azura tried to be polite and not to stare down below the face of this... Girl.

If Rosalyn was like a delicate beauty, Evelyn looked very heroic with those sharp, smooth features and refined physique.

Letting out a low moan as the muscles of her joints pop, Evelyn noticed something and slightly tilted her head with one closed eye, "Wa't u guys staring at me for?"

"Woah-Ahem! Ahem!" Clearing her throat, "G-good morning!" Rosalyn almost choked on her throat with a smile before turning her head, a snicker threatening to escape as she walk to grab her expensive-looking travel bag that was on the table. Trying her best not to laugh at Azura whose eye twitches at Evelyn's relaxed and almost bare form.

"...We have classes," Pausing with her eyes squinting at Evelyn's face, really trying her best not to look at her almost-displaying big breast, Azura added, "If... You want to have breakfast. Hurry up and, get dressed... Eve."

"Food?" Evelyn perked up, "Oh yes!" Her face brightened as she quickly moved to her feet in time when the bathroom door clicked and opened.

Dressed in a brand new Beacon male uniform, his black messy short hair was being dried by a small long towel. His ebony eyes gaze at them without much emotion present on his face.

Despite Evelyn's enchanting appearance right now, it was really a wonder how he didn't bat an eye as he walked to one of the tables where his bag at.

"Good morning Yuki!" Rosalyn said.

"...Morning."

"Hmph!" Evelyn grabbed her black and yellow colored backpack before setting her narrowed eyes on Yuki, "Move out of the way stone face!" She said, running to the bathroom, fortunately, they both dodge, sidestepping as she look almost diving into the bathroom.

Azura and Rosalyn looked at the closed bathroom before one of them say.

"She's quite lively isn't she?" Rosalyn said, smiling with a knowing glint in her eyes as she put out a bottle of shampoo, soap, and her uniform on her bed.

Slightly unsettled by her gaze, Azura tried to play it off, thinking back on her supposed-to-be history in this world, "Yeah... She... Could be a bit-uh... Open," She said, glancing at Yuki who have his notebook and pen ready.

Looking at Yuki, Rosalyn recalled the way Evelyn acted around Yuki yesterday. Alert as if he was a secret enemy about to stab her or a thief ready to snatch something given whenever he was near Azura, Evelyn would stare at him like a lover warning someone not to flirt with their partner right in front of their eyes.

If Yuki could react normally, she no doubt would have enjoyed watching the real-life drama of the potential blooming triangle love. Chaotic but very real than those forced emotions that are acted on the screen.

Rosalyn blinked at the description she thought of.

'I may have watched too many dramas those past days,' Rosalyn thought, 'Though if it really comes to that, I wonder what I will do...' Her lips curled as she imagined the role she will play in this.

Despite the bright and soft smile that was still on Rosalyn's face, Azura wasn't too obvious when she felt danger from that girl as if she was imagining something... Unpleasant?

If she has to be honest, Azura didn't know that much more about Rosalyn's clear background other than she is from a very rich family with a protective mother and a personality of playfulness and... Oh fuck.

Damn it! Isn't she another double-edged sword?

Azura felt her eye twitch again, internally scolding and glaring at herself.

For fuck sake, why does she have to be such a sicko to think of having companions like this? If things somewhat went south, she might think that prison is much more pleasant than being played to death by Rosalyn.

Holding herself from grabbing her head and shouting out because of her embarrassment, she quickly excused herself.

"Now that I think of it, I'm gonna check something," Azura told them, already moving to the door, "You guys go ahead to the cafeteria! I uh... Go there in a while!" Azura raised her voice for Evelyn to hear.

"Why!" Evelyn's voice was barely heard through the sound of the shower.

"Really? Why don't I go-"

"No need!" Azura quickly cut Rosalyn off. She was already out of their dorm and smiled at them, "Just remember that class starts at eight-thirty am okay? Don't be late!"

"Eight-thirty?" Rosalyn knitted her brows as if missing something. Her gaze slowly turned towards her scroll where the time is shown on the screen.

6:10 AM.

"...Seriously?"

"Miss Azura is quite considerate to get you and that lizard used to wake up early."

"I fucking heard that!"

"Yuki. You were really pleasant to look at when quiet so please don't change that."

"I do not care about your view of me. Miss Magenta."

"You..."
