CHAPTER I
UNSC AURORA
The UNSC Aurora was currently traveling back to the Sol System after it finished its combat mission dealing with the final insurrectionist at the edge of the Outer Colony perimeter. UNSC Aurora drop out of the slipspace earlier than previously planned as the Trans-light engine malfunctioned again. Captain James Kaloha sit in his office reviewing the damage caused during the final battle with the insurrectionist.
"Lucky bastards, their random shot hit one of our engines, and now we sitting ducks right here." The Captain feels annoyed a lot of times about how they can shoot their engines. "I guess it is a lucky shot after all" While relaxing and reviewing the damage, suddenly a tremor felt across the ship. Captain James immediately left his room and run to the main bridge. "Report!"
"Captain, we've detected some kind of anomaly ahead of us 50.000 KM! The sensor does not make any sense of this." One of the main officers dealing with the sensor reply his answer.
"Helm! Thruster full reverse!" Captain shouted to the helm.
"Aye Captain! Thruster full reverse!" Ensign in charge of sensor responding to the captain.
For thirty seconds they waited out. Unfortunately, the gravity pull was too strong for the thruster.
" Captain, we're unable to do reversal! The gravity pull is too strong! We are being sucked into it!"
"ORSA!" The captain calls his smart AI
"Captain, the anomaly is too strong! The trans-light engine is still offline. We can't escape from this!" She replied to the captain.
"ALL HANDS! BRACE YOURSELF!" Captain orders all personal on the ship to prepare themselves for anything.
USS QUEEN VICTORIA
QUEEN VICTORIA CLASS EXPLORATORY CRUISTER
(USS VICTORIA NCC-177820 WAS COMMISSIONED AT 2410. WITH A LENGTH OF 1600 METERS, WIDTH OF 340 METERS, AND HEIGHT OF 200,2 METERS. QUEEN VICTORIA CLASS WAS EQUIPPED WITH 25 PHASER ARRAYS AND 16 TORPEDO LAUNCHERS. 3 LARGE IMPULSE ENGINE, DUAL-WARP CORE REACTOR AS SHE HAS FOUR NACELLES AND RCS THRUSTERS. MASS IS 10.000.000 METRIC TONS. ALTHOUGH A EXPLORATORY CRUISER, SHE WAS CONSIEDERED AS THE FIRST FEDERATION BATTLESHIP)
Year is 2415.
Captain Elizabeth Claire Evans is the commanding officer of the USS Queen Victoria. A war veteran, she serves as Captain of the USS Queen Victoria right after her commissioning. The ship has many war scars, as that is her purpose to knock the Vaktoh Empire of the gamma quadrant as they attack the Alpha and Beta Quadrant.
USS Queen Victoria was currently patrolling near the Romulan border. Dominion War and then the Vaktoh war did little to rekindle the relationship with the Romulan Empire as they continue their usual behavior of isolationism and suspicion against the Federation.
While Captain Clair as she preferred to be called is sitting in the Captain's chair and enjoying the Lemon tea, suddenly the ship experience a slight tremor. "Commander, did you feel that?"
"I do feel that tremor Captain. Engineering, is there something happening there? We feel some tremor in here." Commander Stampson replies to the Captain and calls Engineering Division to ask if they make something to the warp core.
"Uh Negative Commander, we do nothing in here and we don't feel any tremors." Lieutenant T'pau responded as the Chief of Engineering. Commander and the Captain feel confused but feel nothing to worry about. "Copy that T'pau. Looks like either our spinal cord can't relax or the universe just makes a space vibration inside the ship" Commander Stampson makes a comment about the tremor.
"Hmm, I'm pretty sure there is something out there. Ensign, scan the…." Captain replied but suddenly interrupted.
"Captain, I'm detecting some kind of spatial anomaly right ahead of us. I can't tell what it is captain as it is producing an immense gravity. It's a million kilometers ahead of us." Ensign Park replies.
"On screen now!"
Captain looks upon the screen and it appears something is coming out of the spatial anomaly. But she can't be certain, after a couple of seconds it appears as a giant ship beyond any recognition.
"Thomas, back us off. Half impulse!" Captain orders Ensign Thomas.
"Aye Captain"
The ship emerges from the anomaly and it's a really massive ship for its size.
"Report!" Captain orders Ensign Park
"For the Spatial Anomaly, I can't tell if it is. But if my thinking is right, I think is a rift between the Space-time continuum captain." Ensign Park explains. Ensign Park just graduated from the Starfleet Academy so it is still timid for her to analyze.
"That is almost correct Ensign, but from what I can tell Captain, I can conclude it is actually a wormhole that appears immediately, but with a characteristic of differential times. Hold on, according to sensors I'm detecting differential Quantum signatures." Lieutenant Commander Vorik as a tactical officer also explains the situation.
"Alright let's skip the anomaly, let's focus on the ship. Thomas, what can you tell us?" Captain Clair asks about the ship.
"Well Ma'am the ship is gigantic for sure. Its length is 5,694 and its width is 833 meters. Its hull should I say quite ancient old use titanium but it is really thick 190 inches."
"That ship for its size is really for military use" Captain Claire comment about that ship.
"Hold on captain, I'm detecting something. A signal… It appears the ship is in distress of some kind. However, I can confirm it, Captain. It appears that their main power and secondary power are offline. Life support is functioning but minimum." Vorik explains to the captain but suddenly he realizes there's something else "Captain, the ship has English Lettering on that vessel"
"English?! On Screen Now!"
Captain Claire look at the ship lettering
"UNSC Aurora. Vorik check the database, is there any match of it?" Captain ask Vorik.
"Negative on database, the ship is completely foreign to us." Lieutenant Commander Vorik response.
"Ensign Park, scan everything through that ship, I want to know every single capability of that ship, I have a bad hunch about this." Commander Stampson ordering Ensign Park to analyze.
"Aye Captain!" Ensign Park Response.
UNSC AURORA
Captain James awoke from the anomaly and stood at the bridge as he was previously knocked out for a while. It was a mess at the bridge but nothing important. "Is everybody alright?!" Captain James asks. "Yeah we do, we are alright Captain!" Commander Suratoh answers him.
"This is one hell of a ride, report on injuries," Captain James asks.
"Report coming from deck 100-200, all minor injuries. Nothing serious captain"
For the captain, it's a relief, at least minor injuries. He did not like this kind of surprise though.
"ORSA Report!" Captain calls his AI
"Ship condition is fine. The main power and secondary power are offline for a while. We running on reserves captain. But we can still do a normal scan. Trans-light is still offline too so we are sitting ducks in space"
"Alright ORSA thank you very much. Helm! tell us what is ahead of us!" Captain ordered Helm to scan the head of the ship.
"Captain, the star chart is completely in error. Navigational is still offline, and the short sensor is still online but still sir, we are not at the place we supposed to be. Wait, unidentified ship port side possibly a million kilometers. That is the only thing I can tell you, captain."
"Captain, all powers are now back online! We now can use all of our scanners!" Commander Suratoh told the Captain
"Excellent, now scan around of us and that ship. I want to know it!" Captain ordering the helm
"Captain, as far as I can tell from the scanner, it is not a Covenant ship. It is a big ship, but I can't tell whether this ship has any weapons. Here's the image of this ship" ORSA AI gives the captain a look at the ship
The captain is baffled about the ship's design, completely foreign to him and to everyone. The captain enlarge the Holographic images of the saucer
"USS Queen Victoria, NCC-177820. What is this ship?" Captain asking ORSA.
"I don't know captain, whatever it is, it is totally different. Definitely not a Rebellion Ship nor the covenant ship"
