Chapter 10
Upon arrival to the Land of Time, as I had hoped, we were warped not even ten feet away from General Rabbit, him then creating his personal wormhole door, which I then proceeded inside of with Nebula, Pikarina, and our prisoners in tow, which made Rat speak out in concern.
"Wait! I can't go in there! What if we get lost in time forever?!" Rat asked, me frowning as we then entered Rabbit's area of amazing tricks, coated with cards as we were inside of a giant hourglass filling with sand.
"Gotta go quick, or the Moon Bear King will have my head! Can't be late, no no no!" Rabbit said with concern as he rode his unicycle watch ahead of us as I then spoke.
"If you even think about helping that monster out, I'm going to cut those ears off yer head and feed 'em to Little Dog!" I said, him gasping and unicycling faster before I saw that he got onto a communicator, which I promptly snagged and got rid of by throwing it into the sand below us.
"Hey! No fair! That was cheating!" Rabbit shouted at me.
"So are you! Now get back here!" Pikarina shouted as she then sent some fireballs at him, forcing him to book it faster to the top, which we followed suit easily until the top, where Rabbit got serious and got his knives out.
"Okay, time to attack! Knife trick!" he shouted as he tried to shoot some knives at me and I dodged effortlessly before smacking him with Calibrus, him groaning in pain. "Oh, that's it! Time to make you disappear!" Rabbit shouted as he tried to force the magic hat over me, but I slashed it in half before then punching him in the gut with the powers of the wrestler, him then literally coughing up the Moonstone Shard from his mouth and me grabbing it before taking a bow.
"Little Rabbit," I said, him then shrinking down to the same size as Rat and him looking at me with concern.
"Why am I in my time hole?... And why are you in here, too?" he asked.
"We need to find a certain flamingo to protect him from General Rooster, okay?" I said, him nodding.
"Oh, indubitably, I remember now! I was mind-controlled by that Moonstone Shard! Okay, hold on, the cards are going to fold near his location," Rabbit said as we then were sent through the sands of the hourglass and we found ourselves in the hedge maze outside of the boundaries of the Land of Time, where Rabbit took a small bow afterwards.
"Now that that is handled, how about you take these, just in case that Moon Bear King tries to contact me, you can use this nifty voice changer to pretend to be me," he said, me seeing it was a voice changing device that was attached to a second communicator. But I did make sure to check it over for any traps, which it had none. After all, I'd been fooled before.
"Okay, now to send you home, just give me a-" I was about to say before he shushed me.
"Shush! No need to speak, I can make it there on my own. That communicator has no off switch, so watch what you say," Rabbit said... but not with his mouth. He spoke by breathing the words into text form as if it were in a text bubble, so all of us could see it.
"Okay, then safe travels, Little Rabbit," I smiled, him nodding as he then warped away with another magic trick and I looked at Rat and Monkey with seriousness and gave them both something to prevent them talking, that being a small gag in the form of some muzzles I managed to get from Monkey's person when we shaked them for any contraband, them staying silent, but obviously unhappy.
"Let's find Mister Pink, but keep an eye on the skies in case of any fowl play," I said, Pikarina then smirking and proceeding to do it for me.
"Badum-tss!" she smirked as we then cut through a hedge in our way... and we immediately found Mister Pink, who, of course, proceeded to begin speaking in one of his infamous soliloquies.
"Agh! Why would you irrelevent trogolodytes destroy my hiding spot? I need to stay absolutely camouflaged, especially from anyone under the Ursine's watchful eye, which would include the monkey and rat next to you as well as-" he was going to say in a long string of sentences before I stopped him.
"Stop talking in giant sentences, please? I get you, I used to be that way, just control it to 20 words or less per sentence, okay?" I asked, him grumbling at me.
"Ugh... I need to stay hidden, because the Bear wants to capture everyone on the planet in an eternal nightmare," Mister pink spoke.
"Nice, counting the ugh, 20 exactly. Just keep calm, we'll protect you from them. And don't worry about the rat or ape, they're our prisoners for being slimy sneaks," I frowned.
"Okay, we must retreat out of reach of the Land of Time," Mister Pink said, me smirking at how he didn't talk too much... and while we moved forward, I heard the sound of feathers being ruffled behind a shrub. Instinctively, I had Calibrus rush in and snip through the foliage, which ended with Rooster getting his left wing clipped and for him to shout after.
"Ooow! ! That really hurt! Time to make you pay!" Rooster shouted angrily as he proceeded to do something shocking. Instead of stealing Mister Pink, he tried to go after Nebula! But before I could stop him, he fired three globs of purple goo on Pikarina, me gasping as something happened that I never expected. She became possessed with evil!
"Yes, Moon Bear King..." she said in a zombified state before then suddenly turning into her normal form and flying back towards the city to the clock tower!
"PIKARINA! I'm coming!" I shouted, but not before doing a final snip to General Rooster, who tried to lunge me! I snipped off his pompadour comb, grabbed his Moonstone Shard, and spoke to words. "Little Rooster!" He was instantly returned to normal and, since time was of the essence, I grabbed everyone and warped us to the clock tower, just in time to see Pikarina mindlessly attach herself to it and begin to move herself toward the midnight hour!
"Pink, stay here! I'm coming, Pika!" I shouted as I flew up to her and grabbed her, mere seconds before she could strike midnight, and proceeded to wrestle her to prevent her from moving the hand!
"Get off... must make it midnight..." she said, almost as if she was a mindless zombie!
"Pikarina! Look at me in the eyes! Remember who you are! Don't you want to see your daddy again?!" I shouted, her gasping as she then tried to fight it as best she could. But her body still managed to push me back by another minute. Anymore and it would be midnight!
"Think of all the people and culture of earth! Without humans, where will there be fireworks?! Who will be able to make sushi?! What will happen to the pandas left alone at the zoos?!" I asked, her then finally shouting in pain.
"AAAAAAGGGHHHH! ! ! I won't! Be! Controlled!" she shouted loudly as the purple gunk evaporated off her body and she then shouted in glee! But when this happened, the worst thing happened. She nudged a little bit right and, though I tried to force it to a minute after midnight, it was too late. We watched in horror as the clock tower became imbued with darkness and the gateway to earth opened up wide! And then, we gawked as we saw the big chungus appear from the bottom of the moon and fly towards Earth!
"Oh no he doesn't! Pikarina, we need to stop him!" I shouted.
"I'll try to get the clock under control, you go stop him! If the children are all stolen from Earth, chaos is sure to follow!" Mister Pink said, me nodding as I then used a magical gateway to make me and Pikarina teleport directly above Dragon's head, me then slashing the blade through his snout, him shouting in pain before Pikarina then slammed her body into Calibrus to make it go deeper.
"AUGH! Whaddaya doin', ya little punk?! Git off me! I need to do as the Bearfather says!" he shouted, me seeing he had no souls as of yet, but he was very close to Earth. I then had Calibrus rush down his back before then slicing off his arm that he held the final Moonstone Shard piece in... and after I grabbed it, Dragon hissed and tried to snap his teeth at me... but something even better happened. I suddenly felt incredible power within me as I felt the Moonstone Shard immediately reform to what it was like before! I then gasped as my form grew back to its normal self and Pikarina, who had since turned back into a pixie, also gained her normal form once more!
"Oh my god! You did it! You look like your old self again! And you look... hot!" Pikarina smirked as I then looked at Dragon, who looked at me in fear.
"Normal Little Dragon," I said, General Dragon then immediately shrinking down to his original self and me smirking at how the planet lost its purple covering shortly after as I saw the clock tower swing back into normal motion!
"We did it! We saved the children from my own stupidity!" Pikarina shouted happily as she hugged me, me smirking at how her body was very warm and we then looked in the distance to see that the souls remained on Earth, and I then looked at Castle Waxwane to see what was going on... and knew we were not done yet. I then took the communicator on my person and tossed it downwards, ending up in a large lake below us in the Land of Time.
"Waxwane is under attack, Pikarina. We need to go there and stop an attack of amazing proportions from the Moon Bear King!" I shouted, me then grabbing my allies/prisoners in the Land of Time minus Mister Pink and I had our group go to Castle Waxwane.
"What the?! What're we doin' back 'ere?!" asked the voice of my ally from the Moonshine Sea.
"Not the time, Gaff, we need to save Castle Waxwane and all the kids and Little animal friends that I sent here!" I said, him nodding at me.
"Arhar! A worthy battle! Good thing I've got a portable cannon! I'll set it up and point it at Grizzlestein to prevent reinforcements!" Gaff said with seriousness.
"I'll take the bad guys along with Nebula and mommy to find out where your allies are. You focus on getting these vines demolished! No more vines, no more bad guys," Erma said, me bringing her and Samara from Halloweeville and them already knowing what was going on.
"Just try not to do anything scary, since some of the allies are children," I said.
"You got it, Minsie Goddess," Samara smirked as she and Erma then proceeded to go all over the castle via teleportation along with Nebula, Rat, and Monkey.
"Let's save this castle!" Pikarina shouted.
"Indeed!" I smirked back as we then proceeded to go into the building itself to stop whatever was going to happen next. Sure, the Moon Bear King wasn't going to get nearly as big of a soul smorgasbord as he wanted, but he was still going to do whatever it took to bring me down.
"Should I ask if I can join you in saving this place?" Dragon asked with Rooster nodding next to him, me smirking at that.
"Yes, four heads are better than one," I smiled.
"Thanks, I need to attone for almost ruining everything," Rooster said with seriousness.
