CHAPTER 6

USS QUEEN VICTORIA

Lieutenant T'pau, The Chief Engineering of USS Queen Victoria is working on the transponder system. He is attempting to enhance the transponder system so it will be capable to transport at least 2000 troops from the ship into the ground. Unfortunately, he encounters a problem. The Energizing Coil exploded, without it, Queen Victoria will be unable to beam in and out the people. By his estimate, it will require at least one hour to repair all the energizing coil.

"Captain Claire, we have problem here. Energizing Coil is exploded. My Apologize Captain, unfortunately, we will unable to beam people out or in." Lieutenant T'pau delivering the bad news for the captain. Captain Claire on the bridge listen and disappointed with her palm at her head. "How long do you need to fix it?" Captain Claire asks. "One-hour captain, the damage is extensive." Lieutenant T'pau gives her possibility of time to repair it."

"You have 30 minutes T'pau. When the battle began, casualties will be popped up and they need an urgent care if its critical. Do you understand?" Captain Claire gives T'pau 30 minutes to repair it. Although it is possible, it will be a terrible headache for T'pau. "I'll see what I can do Captain. T'pau out."

With transporter system is offline, Captain Claire now needs an alternative. "Captain, this ship has around 1500 high capacity escape shuttles around the saucer and the secondary hull. It is more than enough to transport our forces to the planet." Lieutenant Commander Vorik gives the alternatives, Captain Claire seems agree. "Alright, we use the escape shuttles. Notify our forces immediately." Captain Claire gives the order to notify the forces to use the escape shuttles.

"Alright let's prepare it altogether. Remember, the UNSC will be relying on us for Air support. They will use Secured Starfleet Frequency 1118,90. Do it fast and do it accurately, keep the phaser array at low energy." Captain Claire notify the bridge crew about the UNSC possible request for Air support.

"Aye Captain!" All the bridge crew response.

"Helm, take us to the low orbit." Captain Claire gives the direction for the helm. "Captain, incoming hails from the UNSC Aurora, its Captain Kaloha." Ensign Park tells the captain. "on screen!"

"Captain, I believe that your forces are ready?" Captain Kaloha asks Captain Claire whether her forces are ready. "We've got a minor problem but nothing to worry about and..." Captain Claire was suddenly Interrupted by the FNIC and JAFO Officers as they contacting the bridge. "Bridge, All FNIC Forces are ready for launch!" Major Smith of FNIC inform the captain. "This is Major Alex, all JAFO Forces are ready for rock n roll sir!" Major Alex also inform the captain.

"Well, here it is Captain, my forces are ready. We wait for your signal."

"Copy That Queen Victoria. UNSC Aurora out." Captain Kaloha ends the transmissions. Captain Claire will sit around and wait for their signal.

USNC AURORA

"Gentlemen, Queen Victoria's Forces are ready to launch. How's our boys down there?" Captain Kaloha asks whether their forces are ready. "Captain, all forces are ready to go as your command." Commander Suratoh informs the Captain that all the forces are ready including the Spartan. "Alright, launch the Pelican!"

Within minutes, massive amount of Pelican dropships launches from the UNSC Aurora into the Colony. Captain Kaloha await the Queen Victoria to launch, just minutes after launching the Pelicans, he was USS Queen Victoria Hulls starts to unleash their own pods. It was a big one, their launch within hundreds. But he does not believe they launch those pods at a thousand rates., believing that their pods are quite large enough to carry troops.

"ORSA, analysis of their pods."

"Scanning, quite large sir. Capable to hold near 100 people." Orsa inform the Captain about their drops. Interesting enough for the captain.

Ariosa II

In the Starfleet Installations, situation has gone worse. The Covenant Forces are closing 800 meters to the Installations. FNIC Forces on the ground are able to hold them off but not for long, the overwhelming numbers and firepowers of the Covenant Forces pin down the FNIC. But at last, a glimpse of hope for them. UNSC Pelican Dropships has touched down the colony, but it was not a smooth landing though and not a smooth encounter also.

"Watch out, the Cov at 9 o'clock!

"We're at the crossfire here! We should move now!"

"Take Cover!"

Suddenly Covenant Air Forces attacking their position, and with their position is at crossfire with the FNIC Troops at the installations, they need to get out of their positions.

"MOVE OUT NOW! THIS IS A KILL ZONE!" Alice-110 set directions so they will not be killed by friendly fire of the Federation.

"I need SITREP!" One of the ODST come and shouted.

"The Pilots are okay, Kevin and Frank are alive, but badly injured. They need a medic within an hour or two if we want to keep them alive"

"Where's that Goddam Starfleet forces? They should be here right now!"

"UP THERE!"

One of the ODST point to the sky, realizing that it's the Starfleet large shuttles carrying their personnel and now prepare for landing behind them. And suddenly, energy fire coming from the Federation sides suddeny stop. It's good for them but its also bad for them, it will allow for the Covenant to advance faster.

"People, fire COV Position! Nine O'clock"

Several ODST set up a defensive perimeter while the rest shooting at the Covenant Forces.

"Sir, Keller and Juliet need EXFILL now! They are not going to make it!"

As the ODST set up the Perimeter and take care the wounded, FNIC Queen Victoria's Forces arrive at the site.

"You at the main crossfire chief! Get your man out of here. We cover you"

Chief Petty Officer nodded and ordering her man to go behind the lines so the wounded can get better protection. As Alice getting behind enemy lines, Major Smith meet her.

"Officer, looks like we meet at a mayhem."

"I am sure it is" Alice respond

"We have good news and bad news altogether. Good news, we near at section delta of the building. Bad news, so are the Covenant. Section A and B has been overrun, Section Charlie and Echo is the last stand." Major delivering a news for Alice, both good and bad. "It seems that the intelligence we've got is defective." Alice think that the intelligence they got is outdated. "Not outdated officer, we're late and covenant run like hell in here"

"Good! Let's go, we're Oscar mike!" Sergeant Timothy glanced with his other ODST's

ODST leaving the battle site and heading to the main entrance. All the battles are currently taking place at the south building. Section Delta located at the core of the building with section Alpha, and Bravo act as the first ring. The Main Installation is a huge one, 5 kilometers in size. FNIC Major Smith follow sergeant Timothy lead, as they are the ones who make the plan while the rest is support. Due to the similarity of military training, the process gone smoothly for UNSC and FNIC Forces.

As they enter to the Sky Bridge connecting between Southern Building with the core building which is the Section Delta, suddenly they saw covenant fighter jet is about to strike them.

"Holy Shit, Run! ALL OF YOU RUN TO THE CORE NOW!"

Everybody run like hell to the Core, and suddenly the Covenant Plane was destroyed in an instant. As they saw the sky, ODST look to the destroyed Covenant plane scattered. But what confused them as it appears some kind force field not letting the covenant fighter to touch the ground. It was realized by Stampson, that the Installation shield generator still working. Everybody decides to move further to the core, heading to the section delta where the computer network is located. ODST keep scanning their surroundings, while seing if covenant forces is around them.

At 17:00 Hours. October, 10th 2415.

It's been an hour since they landed in the Ariosa II. Sergeant Timothy scan the area with his MA5B Rifle. They still do not encounter the signs of Covenant Forces entering the Section Delta. But for him, he did not like it. He prefers to meet them and knock them off as soon as possible, along side with him is Major Smith of FNIC Queen Victoria. For him, Major Smith supposed to lead. But because the mission parameter was created by them and Starfleet want them to lead, that will be fine.

Suddenly they hear voices, a human voice in pain. Sergeant Timothy and Alice-110 take a look around and search the voice. "Hang on soldier, you're gonna make it!" Major Smith met him and try to comfort him while one of the ODST gives some treatment. "Major, the wound is quite severe. He needs CASEVAC right away or he's not gonna make it." One of the ODST treating his wound gives his recommendation. Major Smith press his combadge to communicate with the USS Queen Victoria.

"USS Queen Victoria can you read me? This is Major Smith."

"We are little busy up here major, delivering some air support. What do you need?" Captain Clarie asks Major smith

"We need medical evacuation, 1 person under extreme wound. Need to beam him now.!"

"Copy that, standby. We transport him right now! Park, activate transport system and beam him into the sick bay. Sickbay, prepare to receive another casualty!"

"Transport activated, energize!"

The wounded was beam into the Queen Victoria's Sickbay. ODST, Sergeant and Alice was quite astonished with the technology. But they will not think for a moment because they have a job to do.

"Major Smith, we receive the wounded. Call us if you need more. Claire Out."

"Alright then, 200 meters to go and we arrive at the computer network!" Major Smith talking

"We're Oscar mike!"
