CPOV
Its been a few days and Edward is head over heals for this girl. He loves her and I'm happy for him. This is his first love and no matter what feelings I have for Isabella I won't do anything to jeopardize their growing relationship.
We were all downstairs when Edward came home. Emmet and Jasper were playing a racing game on the Xbox, Alice and Rose were cheering on their husbands, Esme and I were watching them all.
"Can I ask you all a question?" Ed asks when he came into the house. "Sure son, what is it?" I ask already having an idea. "I'm getting really close to Bella and wanted to know how you guys are able to stay together all the time? So I can apply that to mine and Bellas relationship." He says looking nervous. I had to suppress a growl at his statement. I wanted her for myself but I can't, she has already fallen for Edward and I refuse to take that happiness away from them. No matter how much it hurts me.
Alice was the first to speak up. "Be her best friend." Then Jasper added his input. "Tell the truth." Next was Esme. "And over use 'I love you'." Emmet was next. "Don't just tell her though, show her that you love her."
Rose and I were the only ones who didn't say anything. Rose because she didn't believe that their relationship would ever work and I because of what I myself was feeling for Bella.
Its been 2 days sense then and Edward and Bella have grown closer. She just recently found out about what we were and according to Ed she isn't scared of us. He invited her over tonight so she could meet us all properly.
We were all in the kitchen cooking for Bella while Edward went to go pick her up. We had a small tv in the kitchen as we watched a cooking station to make her something. None of us had made an actual meal in a while so it was nice doing this. We all heard Bella and Edward walk into the house talking.
"What were you expecting? Coffins and dungeons and motes." Edward asked
"No. not the motes." She replied and everyone laughed a little at that minus Rose.
They soon where coming into the kitchen and Esme immediately went up to her. "Bella, we're making Italiano for you." She says. "Bella this is Esme, my mother for all intents and purposes." Edward introduces the two. "Buongiorno." Bella greats in Italian. "Giving us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time." I jump in. "I hope you're hungry." Esme says. "Yea absolutely."
"She already ate." At that Rosalie shattered the bowl she was holding. "Perfect." She exclaimed. "Yea it's just I-I knew you guys didn't eat-" "Of course. It was very considerate of you." Esme says as I walk up beside her. "Just ignore Rosalie, I do." Edward tells Bella, not helping the situation. "Yea, let's just keep pretending this isn't dangerous for all of us." Rose says, still upset over the whole situation. "I would never tell anybody anything." Bella reassure us. "She knows that." I say trying to calm the situation. "Yea well the problem is the two of you have gone public now, so-" "Emmet." Esme says cutting him off. "No she should know. This entire family will be implicated if this ends badly." Rose say crossing her arms and walks closer to Bella. I had to suppress a growl at the threatening way she was coming off toward her. "Bad. Bad as in I-I would become the meal." Bella says and everyone but Rose laughs. Though Bella was right she was also wrong. My main worry was the Volturi, not her being attached by one of us.
Alice and Jasper come walking into the room. "Hi Bella." She says and jumps from the branch followed by Jazz. "I'm Alice." She says and walks over to hug Bella. "Wow, you do smell good." She says as she pulls away. "Alice what are you-" She cut him. "It's ok, Bella and I are going to be great friends." Everyone just stands by awkwardly. "Sorry, Jaspers our newest vegetarian. It's a little hard for him." I say breaking the silence. "Pleasure to meet you." He say to Bella. I was watching him. I could tell her wasn't breathing, not wanting to smell her and lose control. I was proud of my son, he has come a long way from when I first met him. "It's ok Jasper, you won't hurt her." Alice reassures him. "Alright, um I'm going to take you on a tour of the rest of the house." Edward says. "Alright well I'll see you soon." Alice calls to them. "Ok." Bella says. And with that her and Edward left.
The last stop on the tour was Edwards room. I could hear them talking then I hear Edward jump out the window. I looked outside the window in my study to see him climbing up a tree with Isabella on his back. As much as I wanted to run after them to make sure she would be safe I stayed put and watched. I knew that Edward wouldn't let her get hurt and that he was responsible enough to keep her safe but something in me just wanted to keep her close and out of harms way.
We all went downstairs to tell Bella goodbye, well, beside Rosalie. Alice gave her a hug. "We'll see you later Bella." She says when she pulls back. Esme then have her a hug. "It was nice meeting you Bella. I can't wait to see you again." She then pulled back and stood next to me. Jasper just nodded and wished her well before going inside with Alice and Rose.
Emmet patted her on the shoulder then looked at Edward. "You found yourself a good one bro." Then smirked and ran back inside. I left my spot by Esme and walked up to Bella to give her a hug. "It was nice to meet you outside of the hospital Isabella." I say and pull back. "Well with how clumsy I am you'll probably see me as much as Edward does." We all laugh at the comment. "Well good night Bella I hope the next time I see you it's not in the emergency room." With that her and Edward left and Esme and I went back inside. The kids already have the tv on and are playing games. They are all playing Mario Cart with Emmet in the lead and Jasper dead last. Esme and I stay and watch them finish the round to see who wins.
In the end Jasper was first with Alice a close second, followed by Rose, then Emmet.
"How is that fair! You were last place how did you pull first place at the last second!? That was when Esme and I left the room, letting the kids argue it out. I went up to my study to do some reading while Esme went to her garden.
