Greetings to all. I have come back with a big surprise. The journey towards Adult Years has begun. It's been a long time since Season 3 concluded. And well, since I saw that everyone wanted to see more of this great saga, I decided to continue to see more of the future of our favorite guppies.
However, we are going to start with a great prologue, where we will see our guppies in their respective universities, fulfilling their dreams and facing certain situations. In addition, here we will see certain indications of situations that will develop in BGAY. It's time to start with our first story.
And here we go again, enjoy!
Clarification: "Bubble Guppies" and its characters do not belong to me but their respective creators and Nick Jr. I write this non-profit.

Bubble Guppies Adult Years: Zero Chapter
Chapter 0.1: Different Friendship
Sometimes we know a person for many years. However, knowing who that person is for a long time does not mean that we really know him. We can talk to that person and still not spend so much time. Well, we will see that situation with two guppies who, despite knowing each other since kindergarten, have not really had enough interaction. That is the case of the relationship between Molly Gentilella and Nonny Pirruccello.
Let's recap a bit. Molly managed to get admitted to the prestigious SeaBottom State University. Curiously, in that same university, it is where Nonny also studied. Since he had already spent a whole year studying there due to a special program, he decided to help Molly with her first admission process. In fact, at the end of summer vacation, the two headed off to college together after their emotional farewell to the other guppies, friends, and family. They had the faith to see them again soon, but for that there was a little more time.
Meanwhile, Molly decided to settle down a bit in the new apartments on the university campus. She noted a small surprise that lifted her spirits.
"Well….You will be in this apartment with me. Since my old roommate moved out, I was left alone. And so he is available. If you want to stay here or prefer to go to another, that's fine" Nonny was showing the apartment.
"Oh no. It's perfect. Also, I would feel more comfortable with a person that I have known for years with me" Molly answered with a smile. The smile that always characterized our favorite leader.
"Very well. I'll explain a little about how things are here. Each of us has our own personal space. We have our own room and own bathroom. What we share is the living room and the kitchen. We must wash our own clothes at the campus laundry. Each of us has our tasks. Each room and bathroom will be the responsibility of each one, while the living room and the kitchen must share the tasks equally. In addition to organizing ourselves with the tasks and projects that we are given in our respective careers" Nonny explained a bit about the routine.
"Understood. But I think we won't have any problems. I mean, I know that we are both very responsible and well" Molly answered happily.
"Yes, you could say yes" Nonny said quietly "So, Do you want me to help you accommodate your things and luggage?"
"I'd love to" The pink-haired guppy said.
"Yeah, because we have to be on time for the Induction Day" He said with his typical tone of voice.
"Induction Day?" Molly asked confusedly.
"It's basically the first day of school. Normally you know your teachers and some classmates. Here you have one teacher per course, and in each course you have different classmates who are from other careers" Nonny answered quietly.
"Oh I see. Well….That sounds interesting. So we'll both be very busy, right?" Molly analyzed.
"We are in one of the most prestigious universities. So yes, we will be under a lot of work" The ginger boy replied.
"That's what we came for, right?" Molly said nervously. Although she remained positive, the college experience was new and unfamiliar to her. However, that is not what worried her.
Time passed and Molly was in the process of adjusting to the rhythm of university study. If higher education is already complicated, imagine what studies at a renowned university are like. There wasn't a day that she didn't have to study to be prepared for tests because of the amount of content. Or there was no day that she had to prepare reports or homework. The same thing happened to Nonny. However, since he was already a year ahead, he was already used to that heavy pace. Although he carried a greater difficulty than Molly.
Another great little detail was Molly and Nonny's relationship. She was concerned that they didn't spend time together like the friends they are. I mean, they've known each other since kindergarten and she still can't establish a conversation with him. Well, he was always busy or he just doesn't share her hobbies. Well, I suppose that happens when they are people with different personalities. On the one hand, Molly is a very sociable, friendly girl and it is easy for her to make friends. In fact, she managed to make friends with some of her classmates. On the other hand, Nonny is too reserved and her social circle was much smaller than hers. Despite that, she is very fond of Nonny. But it seems that he doesn't pay much attention to her friend.
"Ugh….I finally finished this week's reports...I guess it will do me good to get out of the apartment for a while" Molly said to herself. She decided to change clothes to a sports outfit to work out and get out of the environment. She decided to approach her friend to invite him. "Hello Nonny. I've been thinking it might be good to get out of the apartment for a while. Do you want to exercise a little with me? It's healthy to get out of the routine, you know?" She asked with a smile,
"I'm a little busy. Maybe another time" Nonny answered without taking his eyes off his computer screen.
"Okay, if you change your mind, I'll be around the apartments" The pink-haired guppy commented and she left his room. The boy didn't even pay much attention.
On another occasion, Molly was listening to music in her room and singing a little at the same time. After all, music was what she was passionate about.
"...High fashion, low fashion
Everybody's got their own passion
Play it safe, or just go wild
Come on and rock your style!
Style!..."
Our beloved guppy was humming her favorite song by her famous music star, Stylee. However, someone knocked on the door of her room. Molly decided to go to the door and opened it to the person who was waiting for her.
"Excuse me, Molly. But you could turn the music down a bit. I try to make my reports and I occupy absolute silence" It was Nonny asking her seriously.
"Oh! I´m sorry. I am sorry. I did not know that I was with the music very loud" Molly apologized.
"Don't worry. Just...listen at lower volume. I'll be in my room if you need anything" Nonny said quietly.
"Hey, Nonny! Well….do you want something for dinner?" Molly asked.
"Hmmm no, Thanks" Nonny decided to leave her alone. Molly sighed lightly. She didn't like how she got along with her friend. They seemed as if they were strangers. And that hurt her a little, because it was possible that they were going to continue like this for the rest of her stay at the university.
And that was the routine of this pair of friends for a long time. There was very little interaction between the two of them. Normally, they only spoke to remind each other of tasks in the apartment or to notify each other of certain things. Well, each one had their separate study times and even had different social circles. Most of all Molly. One day, Molly decided to take advantage of a day that Nonny was on a tour away from the university. So she made a video call to a close friend to help her in this situation.
"I don't know Deema. I feel uncomfortable that we're not spending time together or at least talking. Nonny just limits himself to studying and that's it" Molly shared her concern.
"You and Nonners are the friends who never hang out. What's up with that?" It was Deema on the other side of the screen. It was a video call.
"I know. I admit that Nonny and I have never had a real interaction. We're a little different and that's okay. But, at least I thought we could get along better now that we're the only Bubble Guppies here. Also, I can't deny the feeling that he is ignoring me or moving away from me" Molly commented about her feelings.
"I don't think he's ignoring you. I mean, you guys are still friends, right?" Deema said.
"Of course that we are friends but...gosh...I don't know a lot about him...I think that although we have been friends for many years, I never gave myself the opportunity to get to know him more" Molly started to analyze her interactions with Nonny all these years.
"Don't feel bad. I don't know a lot about him either. We are talking about Nonny, the quietest and The most reserved boy I know. So it's not personal. Nonny doesn't dislike you. It is simply that you are very different in personalities and ways of being. The same thing is happening to me with Urchin. We are very different and the truth was difficult to live together. Especially for my extravagant way of being. But little by little we are understanding each other. And I feel like you can do the same with him. Just go ahead and get closer to Nonny and get to know him a little more" Deema explained with a smile. Before Molly could answer, Deema slightly changed her tone to a slightly more serious one "But…..Don't get SO close to him. Remember that Nonny is with Oona and you are with Gil"
"Of course not, friend. I just want to be a good friend to him" Molly clarified that point quickly. She would never have that kind of intentions, even if she needs the presence of her boyfriend.
"(sigh) Sorry, Sorry. Sorry for that comment. I just remembered the incident I had with Nonners. I still feel a little bad about it" Deema said, lowering her gaze.
"That is in the past, my friend. Now, the important thing is to continue with our futures. And you know? Nonny will be here soon. I'm going to prepare something special for him. So I can express myself and tell him what I think in a quiet environment" Molly said with a big smile.
"That´s a great idea! He will appreciate it" Her blonde friend answered happily.
It wouldn't be long before Nonny would be back, so Molly decided to get down to business. She started to buy some ingredients that she needed for the surprise. Night was drawing near and Nonny still hadn't returned. Molly worried a little about hers. She did not want her friend to have had any problems with the trip. Luckily, the orange-haired guppy had arrived with his luggage.
"Oh Nonny! Nice to see you again! Welcome back!" Molly greeted him.
"Hi, Molly. What a surprise to see you awake. I thought you would be resting or studying" Nonny asked. He was a bit surprised.
"I know. But I figured you'd be a little late. So I decided to prepare something special" Molly answered. Nonny started smelling something.
"snif snif…Hmmmm that smells good" Nonny tried to guess what´s it.
"Surprise! I made lasagna. I hope you like it and…I was hoping that we could spend time together…Since well…we…we hardly spoke since we got here" Molly decided to share her feelings. Nonny was quiet for a few seconds.
"Hmmmm I guess you're right. I think I took my studies too seriously. I'll just drop my stuff and come back for dinner" Nonny decided to accept her invitation. The pink-haired guppy was happy to hear it. After the blue-glasses guppy left his luggage, he decided to change his clothes to a more comfortable one and decided to eat with Molly. That was one of the few moments they spent together because their schedules were a bit different. During the meal, they did not converse, as was usual. However, Molly wanted to break that after they both finished eating the delicious dish.
"It was delicious, Molly. You're good at this kitchen thing" Nonny said quietly.
"Thanks! You're pretty good too. But we must accept it: None of us can beat Urchin's culinary talents" Molly recognized it with a giggle. Nonny smiled at her.
"Hey Molly. Do you want to see something impressive?" Nonny asked her. She was surprised by his gesture.
"Oh…okay? Show me" She accepted kindly. Nonny led her to an open area near the apartments.
"Look" Nonny pointed to the sky. The girl looked in amazement at the beautiful night sky. It was a beautiful night with a full moon and full of stars. The atmosphere was very calm and quiet. Just the way Nonny liked it. The boy decided to lie down on the grass to contemplate the view. Molly decided to do the same and they both had a healthy distance from each other. Again the awkward silence returned between these two friends.
"Wow" Molly said without stopping to see the sky.
"Beautiful view, isn't it?" Nonny asked quietly.
"Wonderful" The girl replied.
"(sigh) Oona would love this view" Nonny said with a low tone.
"I bet so" Molly added. Again, silence returned. A few minutes passed before one of them decided to speak. But this time, Molly would be the one surprised.
"...Molly…."
"Huh? Yeah, Nonny?"
"...How have you been feeling lately? It's been quite a while since...the last time we saw Jane...How do you feel about it?" He decided to ask her about that dark topic. Molly couldn't answer him for some time. She was thinking about herself and her internal process. Even though it's been a long time since Jane tried to kill them all and get her revenge, it still wasn't an easy topic to ignore. She had to be honest with herself.
"...(sigh) I'll admit it. It still hurts, you know. Everything that Jane did to me...to all of us...can't be forgotten. I think that I'll have to live with that feeling for the rest of my life...However...I know that I won't be slave of that feeling anymore...Because there's a great present and future for all of us" Molly said looking at the starry night sky.
"I'm glad you're handling the situation better. We know that you are one of the people who has suffered the most from all this. But do not worry. Everything is a process. And your family and friends will be there for you. At least now I'm here to support you in everything you need" Nonny explained a bit.
"Yeah….Although…we didn't spend a lot of time. I just feel like... you're avoiding me" She decided to tell him how she was feeling "I mean….I know we've never been that close...but, at least I was hoping we'd have a better interaction here. Well, all this is new to me and very rarely do I feel that you are there" He was quiet for a few seconds.
"...I am sorry to hear that. Molly...I'm not ignoring or avoiding you. I admit that I am taking my university career too seriously...because honestly I demand a lot of myself. Also, we've never been very close and that's why I'm also too reserved. I don't want you to take it personally, I'm not very open with the other guppies either...Only Oona...And I still don't tell her everything. The truth is that I consider you a valuable friend. Here between us, you are the smartest guppy girl on the team. Perhaps I have never told you but... there are many things that you have that I would like to have... in the way of being. And that is my truth, I have admired you a lot and there is no doubt that you are the one to be the leader of the Bubble Guppies. Even with your imperfections" Nonny decided to finally reveal his thoughts about Molly. She never thought that her friend had a high regard for her.
"I didn't know you thought that about me" Molly was a bit surprised.
"I'm not usually very talkative on these issues" Nonny commented with his typical tone of voice.
"You know? I also recognize that you are a person that I appreciate very much. I know I haven't gotten to know you at all. But the truth is you are an admirable, intelligent boy and the truth... Your way of being is something that we all love about you... Calm, Respectful, a true gentleman... I understand why Oona fell in love with you" Molly said with a smile.
"Hmmmm I understand the same thing why Gil fell in love with you since kindergarten" Nonny replied. They both gave a little giggle.
"Hey….It was nice to have this talk with you. Sometimes I feel lonely at the University. It's true that I have friends here but...None of them are as close or trustworthy as you" Molly said kindly.
"I think the same. And you know? I apologize if I gave you the false image that I don't care about you. The truth... well... my head has been very busy with many things" Nonny added.
"Don't worry. I understand what you go through. I mean, we both have a huge academic responsibility. This is one of the best universities and its challenge is very high. But I know we can" Molly said with a confident smile.
"...together….Together we can do it" Nonny gave her a tiny smile "I promise to be more aware of you. In addition, we will be able to help each other with studies"
"I really appreciate it, Nonny. And more than anything because we are studying similar things" Molly said with a big smile.
"Wait…What are you studying?" Nonny was a bit confused.
"Well, I've decided to become a teacher, just like Mr. Grouper was. I want to teach children many things like he taught us. Above all, teach them music and many things. That was my final decision" Molly said proudly.
"For now, I am studying to be a university professor. However, that is only a short-term goal. With the title of teacher, I want to study something else. What I've always wanted to be" Nonny expressed about his goal to be a paleontologist.
"Yeah….I know we're going to make it. Come on Nonny. It's time to rest" She decided to be prepared to return to the apartment and go to sleep.
"I'll... I'll get to the apartment later. You go ahead" Nonny said before he get up.
"Alright….See you" Molly said with a big smile and she left. Nonny was quiet for a few seconds and he decided to return when Molly was out of sight. Nonny started on his way back before he noticed anything strange. A cold breeze left him with goosebumps. Nonny began to feel a discomfort in his chest.
"You know she's lying to you, right?"
Nonny's eyes widened at the sound of that familiar voice. He immediately looked back. But something was wrong. There was no one. The worst thing is that he had a feeling that someone was there. At least he felt watched. He was looking around to confirm his hunch.
"There's your friend, Nonny. Molly seems to be nice to you, but deep down she hates you. After all, it was YOU who caused her to be kidnapped in the first place"
"No! I know that is not true! I know her well and she ... would never hold a grudge ... at least ... not with her friends" Nonny touched his head.
"So you admit it was your fault? Think about it, Nonny. All that the guppies suffered for Jane...It all started from the day you...believed that idiot James. Your own doubts and insecurities made you doubt Oona's loyalty…."
"Enough! That's already behind! Leave me alone" Nonny squeezed his head.
"...And those doubts led you to commit that infidelity. You didn't just cheat on Oona. You betrayed Goby, your friend. That fight was the key to Molly being kidnapped. So if we're real...IT WAS ALL YOUR FAULT, NONNY!"
"Stop! That shouldn't affect me! It's all over! Jane was defeated along with her allies! And everything is arranged with my friends" Nonny was sweating a lot. But some strange things started to happen to his body.
"Stop comforting yourself with lies! The guppies are secretly hating you! They will never forgive you! Perhaps you don't see that because of your mistake... all the guppies paid dearly. IT'S YOUR FAULT, NONNY"
"IT'S YOUR FAULT, NONNY""
"IT'S YOUR FAULT, NONNY"
"IT'S YOUR FAULT, NONNY"
"NOOOOOO!" In an act of stress, Nonny hit the ground hard. But something was wrong. The blow left a large mark on the ground as if it was a blow caused by superhuman strength. Nonny was surprised to see the small crater and noticed something that scared him. The veins on his wrists began to glow a faint green light. But when Nonny decided to take a deep breath, the light went out and his veins returned to normal. The guppy decided to start doing breathing exercises to relieve stress. After that, his voice disappeared...for now. Nonny stared at her hands and everything was normal, for now. However, the boy began to worry about it. He was beginning to suspect something "It's happening again. I'm still not sure what's happening to me. The last time was months ago...But...I'm only sure of one thing..."

"In the end, it was all my fault"

We have reached the end of this one-shot. I really liked the interaction between these two guppies who don't usually talk much to each other. I want to remind you that this will be a compilation of stories of the guppies in their university stages. We already saw the story of Molly and Nonny. Can you guess who will be the next guppy?
Leave your reviews to know your opinions and all that haha. In this prologue I'm going to answer reviews at the end of each chapter (just like in the old days XD) So go ahead.
This story has a particular detail. At the end of each story, there will be a mysterious encrypting message, revealing certain details that might be useful to BGAY. I hope you manage to decipher the encrypted message of this chapter.
From my side, this is it. I am your beloved ReaderandWriter9000 and we will see you in the next chapter. Do not miss it! I appreciate you!
