Evers finally gave the Inspector the antidote as he handed it to Julia, "we have to hurry"

Inspector nodded, "Higgins, throw Evers in jail"

Henry with a smile on his face, "sir, " as he and the other constables put the cuffs on Evers, while the Inspector and Julia rushed home.

As they got through the door, they could hear, Susannah crying, and ran into the nursery, "I got her, Julia. You take care of him" As they saw him, unconscious on the floor.

"William?" Julia asked as she checked his pulse and felt nothing, "oh no, you're not leaving me like this. Not the time" she said through the tears as she rolled up his sleeve and insert the syringe into his wrist.

Susannah was still crying, as Thomas held her, "its alright, sweetheart, your father will be ok"

It was 2 minutes later, as Julia thought it was too late, when she finally felt a pulse, and he finally opened his eyes. Those big brown puppy dog eyes, were staring at her. She feared she would never see those eyes ever again.

"Julia?" he said in a low weak voice

"William. It's alright…everything is going to be alright" she smiled and cried.

"Susan…"

"She is here and is ok"

He nodded and closed his eyes again, as he groaned, "sorry, I feel so groggy and weak"

"It's alright, just rest." She said still crying happy tears as she rubs his head

It was next evening as William and Julia, lay in bed after making love. Not talking, just caressing and looking into each other's eyes, with tears. Both just grateful he was alive and she saved him in time.

"So happy, we got Susannah down early, tonight." Julia said as she caressed William's muscular arm

"Mm" is all he said as he kissed her forehead and she snuggled her head onto his chest, "William, you died, when I and the inspector got here. Did you see anything?"

"I was near death, I believe. I said goodbye to Susannah and I loved her and that I knew you would take care of her."

"Go on…"

"Then the Angel of Death, told me it was time and led me to this light, and I was at peace…until I felt my other arm being grabbed and heard you say not the time. I saw you and we walked back into the nursery, that's when I woke up and saw you…my angel"

Julia with tears in her eyes, gave him a kiss, "you actually heard me say not the time?"

"Yes, why?"

She wiped her tears from her cheeks when she sat up, and looked at him, "when we found you, you had no pulse and I said you're not leaving me, it's not the time."

He smiled at her, "you saved me, just in time"

"Tit for tat" she smiled back as they passionately kissed each other, when they heard Susannah cry.

They both waited, and they were grateful she stopped, and continue kissing, and ended up making love again, and fell asleep in each other's arms.

It was morning, when William woke and stared at Julia who was still sleeping. He kept still thinking of what she said to him, I will not will my life as an unhappy woman.

"What did she mean? She wouldn't remarry? I would want her too, if I died. I would want her to remarry and help raise Susannah." He thought to himself, when he heard her, "something on your mind?"

"When I told you, that I would die a happy man…you said you didn't plan to live unhappy woman."

"You're wondering, why I said that?"

He looks at her, "yes, you wouldn't remarry?"

She caresses his cheek, "no, even if I got asked, I wouldn't"

"But Julia, hypothetically, if I died…" he turns and knocks on the nightstand, which makes Julia giggle, "you wouldn't even want someone to help you raise Susannah?"

"No. But let's not think about that ok? You're alive and it wasn't the time for your death."

"You're right, sorry just curious. Like you said not the time. I am alive, and with you and…"as he was about to continue, Susannah cried, "yes her" they both laugh, "it's time for her feeding" Julia said as she was about to get up, "no, I'll get her Julia. You get the tea ready" as he gets out of bed and puts his pajamas on.

After breakfast, they decide to have a family outing, at the park, so they quickly make a picnic basket,, when Julia says, "don't pack the scones"

"I won't be eating them anymore"

They arrive at the park, ate lunch, played with Susannah and talked about the future. As William gazed at Julia cradling Susannah and feeding her bottle, he smiled, and thought to himself, "again not the time"
