E.B's Christmas Carol
Chapter 3
Later that night, Simba and Nala are now in their nightwear, as they made their way to their king size bed.
"I've double the guards around our palace, few patrol through the hallway and even if it too risky, have couple of guards outside of our room." Simba said.
"Then, let see if the spirits can get through our defences." Nala said as she and Simba climb onto their bed.
Then, they kiss each other goodnight.
"Night, my beauty queen." Simba said.
"Goodnight, my handsome king." Nala said.
With that, they turn their lamps off and went to sleep. A while later, the clock tower starts ringing it chimes' Westminster Quarters tunes before a big bell ring once.
Simba open his eyes a bit, to check his alarm clock, "...One O'clock..."
Nala open her eyes a bit and slowly rise up to look around... "Nothing... Guess the Spirit, decided not to bother us." With that, Nala lay back down before turn to the other side...
"Well, now, I wouldn't say that."
And meet a teen girl's face! Nala scream in surprise, as she moves back quickly, bumping to Simba, causing both of them to fell off the bed.
The girl laughs as she move to the other side of the bed, "Did you really thinks those defences can keep the ghosts away?"
The girl has reddish-brown eyes, chin length spiky dyed red and black hair, and tattoo on both cheeks; star on the right side and stripe on her left side, and wears pure white racer outfit with golden lines.
"Who... who are you?" Simba asked.
"Why, I'm Eva Wei; the Ghost Racer. Sponsors of Christmas Past." Eva said as she turn to show off her logo; a Christmas wreath with an hourglass in the centre, on her back, "In other words; I'm the Ghost of Christmas Past."
"Long past?" Rulers asked.
"Your past, silly cats." Eva said, "Which is link to someone else's past." Then Eva grab the Rulers' hand and starts pulling them towards the window, "Now, come along. Don't dawdle. We need to get going."
"Wait!" Nala said, "Where are we going?!"
"To visit your past, silly kitty." Eva said as the window open itself.
"But... my wife and I will fall!" Simba said.
But Eva won't take no for answer and pull hard, causing all of them to fall out the window... right on a hovering star-racer, which is about a foot under the window.
"Don't be such a fraidy-cat, you two." Eva said as she goes to her driving seat, "Like we were going to jump to the ground this high." Then Eva sat on her seat and press a button to close the hatch, "Now then, seatbelts."
The seats pop up from the floor, right under the rulers, causing them to sit and the seatbelts place on them, themselves.
Voice: Ghost Racers, start your engine!
Eva revving up her star-racer's engine for the while, before set off at high speed!
"Whoa!" The rulers yelled.
The Star-Racer flies through the city and head towards the growing light.
"Eva, what's that light ahead?" Simba asked.
"It can not be dawn." Nala said.
"It's the light of the past." Eva said as her Star-Racer flies straight to the light and now, fly through the wormhole of time.
Eva push the button for auto-pilot, before the screens appear in front of Eva and the rulers, "Now let see..." Eva muttered as the screens shows very young Simba and Nala during Mufasa's death and Scar's reign, "Wow. A lot happen during your childhood, your Majesties. The king is dead by his own brother's hands, pair of you split up, Simba lives with his friends; Timon and Pumbaa, even in happiness, still have sadness in his heart. While Nala is force to watch Pride Kingdom slowly becoming a wasteland. No wonder you two got cold to those around you."
"Aren't we suppose to be there instead of watching the screens?" Nala asked.
"Yeah, but you two split up. And it'll take forever to go through." Eva said, "So, we're going to stop at..." Suddenly, the Star-Racer exit the wormhole and land right next to the mansion like building where some music was heard from, "This place."
The Star-Racer's hatch opens as Simba and Nala manage to unbuckle themselves.
"And where exactly, are w... wait!" Simba said as his eyes widen, "I know that place! I gave that place to Timon and Pumbaa after I defeated Scar."
"And it's been 8 years since." Eva said.
Nala then see a family heading towards the mansion, "Look! It's King Triton of the Sea, his wife; Queen Athena and their seven daughters!" Nala wave hard, "Hello, guys! HELLO!"
Eva giggles, "These are but shadows of the things that have been, your Majesty. They can not see or hear you." Eva then jump off her racer, "Come on! Sounds like there's a party going on."
Simba and Nala after hesitate for the moment, climb off the racer and follow the spirit into the mansion. Soon, they enter the chamber where everyone the rulers know, are enjoying the Christmas Party.
"Look!" Simba suddenly, said, "It's Timon and Pumbaa themselves!"
Dancing wildly, are anthropomorphic Meerkat named Timon, wearing Santa Claus costume, and a anthropomorphic Warthog named Pumbaa, wearing a reindeer costume.
"Timon and Pumbaa always inviting us." Nala said, "At first, Simba and I were not in the mood, but these two keeps saying 'Hakuna Matata'."
"And is that why they're here?" Eva asked as she point at the left.
Simba and Nala turn to what the spirit is pointing at, only to have their eyes widen in surprise!
"Great pride..." Simba said, "That's us in our youth."
"Along with our kids; Kiara and Kion." Nala said.
Indeed they are the past version of the rulers along with their children. Their oldest one, Kiara the 8 years old anthropomorphic lioness with golden fur and red eyes, wearing red dress and a sliver tiara. And Kion who's 5 years old, wearing blue shirt and black trousers and shoes.
"Yes." Eva said, "During that time, you two, were the arrogant rulers. Slowly feeding themselves to the hatred."
"Well, you can't blame us." Simba said.
While everyone is having a great time, Past Simba and Past Nala are on the chairs, watching them. Kiara try to join in the fun but Past Simba and/or Past Nala keep stopping her.
"Why won't you let her have fun?" Eva asked.
"Cause I'm protecting her." Simba said.
"From what? Scar's followers?" Eva asked.
"It not just that." Nala said, "Kiara is the future queen and must be ready for her future."
"So technically, she's just a queen, not your child?" Eva asked, "Because you only see her as a future queen and not who she truly is on the inside."
Simba and Nala couldn't answer, unsure whether the spirit is right or not.
Soon, Pumbaa join Past Simba and Past Nala, "Hey, Simba? Why don't you join in the fun?"
"I just don't feel comfortable around." Past Simba said.
"Aw, come on, Simba. Have fun. At least, for MR Santa Claus." Pumbaa said.
"Santa Claus?!" Timon asked as he join his best friend and others, "Pumbaa, my cubby friend, his name is Father Christmas."
Kiara roll her eyes in boredom...
"Santa Claus." Pumbaa said.
"Father Christmas." Timon said.
"Santa Claus."
"Father Christmas."
"Santa Claus!"
"Father Christmas!"
"Santa Claus!"
"Father Christmas!"
"SANTA CLAUS!"
"FATHER CHRISTMAS!"
"SANTA CLAUS!"

While everyone is watching the argument between Timon and Pumbaa, Kiara saw her chance to sneak off.
"Kiara, stop!" Simba said before turn to his past self, "Hey, Kiara is sneaking off!"
"They can't hear you, remember?!" Eva asked, "Try to keep up, your Majesty. Now, come. Let's go outside." With that, Eva hold Simba and Nala's hands before they suddenly, find themselves outside the mansion.
"Why are we outside?" Simba asked.
Just then, Kiara carrying a big tray of food and drinks, walk outside, "Psst, guys? You're there?"
Just then, coming out of the nearby bushes, are three young anthropomorphic lions.
First one is the teen lion with dusky brown fur, a growing scraggly black mane like tuft, and red eyes. He wears old white shirt and black jeans. His name is Nuka.
The second is a young lioness cub with creamy tans, blue eyes, a tuft of hair on her head, and freckles. She wears old blue shirt, grey vast and combat jeans. Her name is Vitani.
And the last one is the youngest lion cub with auburn fur, dark brown tuft and green eyes. He wears old green shirt and brown trousers. His name is...
"Kovu!" Simba said with a growl.
"Scar's chosen heir!" Nala said, "And his siblings; Nuka and Vitani!"
"Yes." Eva said, "I seem to recall you two executed their evil mother; Zira, a week before, due to be loyal to Scar. Leaving these cubs all alone without anyone looking after them."
"Well, they seem to handling well without help." Simba said.
"On the contrary, your Majesty." Eva said, "They're handling well because they had help; from the Princess herself."
The rulers and the spirt, watches as Kiara set the tray on the ground and allow Kovu and others to eat.
"Say, aren't we worry about the King and Queen discovering us?" Nuka asked.
"Don't worry about my parents." Kiara said, "It is my choice to help you."
A while later, Kovu, Vitani and Nuka have their full.
Just then, Kiara grab Kovu's arms, "Come on, Kovu! Let's dance!"
"But, Kiara, I don't know how to dance!" Kovu said as Kiara drug him few yards away from his siblings.
"Don't worry, neither can I." Kiara said before she and Kovu starts dancing like crazy.
A few minutes later, Kovu and Kiara starts spinning around together... a bit too fast. They're spins towards...
"OH NO!" Nuka said before he try to run but got caught in the 'mini' KOV-KIA tornado, along with Vitani.
The tornado spins pass the rulers and spirit, before slam into the pile of snow. They pop their heads out of the snow then look at each other... before they start laughing together.
Simba and Nala watching them... having fun.
"I guess I could admit it," Nala started, "Kovu and Kiara were good friends long with Vitani and Nuka."
Suddenly, the wind pick up as the scenery starts fading into blackness...
"In 10 years time," Eva said as new scenery slowly appearing, "Kovu and Kiara's friendship becomes something else."
Once the scenery is completely form, Simba and Nala look around.
"We're in a park." Simba said.
"Kovu?"
The rulers and the spirit turn to see grown Kovu now with full rich dark brown mane, and wearing a bit clean clothes thanks to the princess, leading grown Kiara now wearing a green dress and nice sliver tiara, who is blindfolded.
"Can you at least tell me where are we going?" Kiara asked.
"Can't." Kovu said, "It's a surprise."
"Kovu, where are you taking our daughter?!" Simba asked.
Eva is about to speak when Simba hold up his paw like hand, "I know, I know. They can't hear me."
"That's right, your Majesty." Eva said, "But if it makes you feel any better, we'll follow them."
With that, the rulers and the spirit follows Kovu and Kiara for the while before Kovu stop Kiara before remove Kiara's blindfold, "SURPRISE!"
After her eyes got use to the light, Kiara sees a big old tree were at the base, is a craved heart with K+K in the centre.
Kiara's eyes widen with wonder, "Oh, Kovu! I love it!"
"And I love you." Kovu said before realizes what he just said and blush.
Kiara blushes as well but put a smile as she grab Kovu's shirt and pull him till his face is close to hers, "Glad to hear that." Then she kiss Kovu on the lips then a while later, their kiss broke, "Cause I love you too."
"Oh, give me a break." Simba muttered.
"I think that's so romantic." Eva said.
Suddenly, grown Nuka who grown short but full scraggly mane, wearing white shirt and black trousers, and grown Vitani now wearing combat style outfit, rushing pass the rulers and the spirit, towards Kovu and Kiara.
"Kovu! Kiara!" Nuka said before he and Vitani halt, seeing the sight of the lovebirds... love-cats... whatever.
"Are we interrupting something?" Vitani asked.
Knowing Nuka and Vitani wouldn't interrupt without reason, Kiara turn to them, "What's wrong, guys?"
"Well, as we were walking while you two had some great time together, we heard rumours." Vitani started.
"You know that Quick Industries place?" Nuka asked.
"You mean; Quark Industries?" Kiara asked, "Yeah, I was there few months ago for my royal training. While my parents talk with the president of Quark Industries, I met a scientist named Dr. Erika Slate, who's working on an artificial intelligence robot she named; Rusty."
"Really?!" Kovu asked in surprise and amaze, "I would like to meet her and see Rusty."
"Well, that might not happen." Vitani said, "Cause the King and Queen had their guards and polices arresting her!"
"WHAT?!" Kiara asked in shock, "For what crime?!"
"Something about; Scar's hidden follower." Nuka said.
"Not this again!" Kiara muttered.
"And get this," Vitani started, "They taking her and Rusty towards the place where Simba and Nala believed there's another Scar's follower in hidden."
"Really?! Where?" Kovu asked.
"Some kind of wood carving workshop." Vitani said.
"Wood carving workshop?" Kiara said, "The only wood carving workshop, I know within the Pride Kingdom is..." Kiara eyes widen, "Oh no!"
Then, Kiara run off, passing the rulers and their spirit, follow by the others.
"Come, your Majesties. Let us see what's been happening at the shop." Eva said.
With that, after grabbing Simba and Nala's arm, Eva shine bright, flashing the scenery for the while before the light fade, revealing the rulers and the spirit within wood carving shop.
"We're in MR Geppetto's word carving shop." Nala said.
"A robot powered by nucleoprotons. A wooden puppet moving without strings."
Simba, Nala and Eva turn to see Past Simba and Past Nala, talking to two people, a powered down robot boy and a living wooden puppet.
First one is a slender elderly man with white hair, a thick matching mustache, thick grey eyebrows, blue eyes, a pink cherry nose, and pale skin. He wears frameless and rectangular spectacles, a light blue-coloured shirt with baggy sleeves under a red-violet vest, a horizontal red-violet suspender with gold lining and dark crosses supported by two vertical brown suspenders with gold buttons holding black breeches, knee-high teal socks, and brown shoes with gold buckles. His named is Geppetto, the owner of the workshop.
Next to him is a slender living marionette, that is made to look like a cute little boy with a round, chubby face and long nose. He has big, bright blue eyes and a fringe of thick jet-black hair adorned with a yellow hat with a red feather under a blue band wrapped around it, has four-fingered hands with white gloves. He wears bright red cotton fabric short overalls with yellow buttons and gold and light blue details at the sides over a light yellow shirt with a white collar. He also has a black vest with gold lining, big blue bow tie, and brown wooden shoes. His name is Pinocchio; Geppetto's creation/son.
The other person is a woman with black hair and brown eyes behind her glasses. She wears pink shirt, white lab coat, black skirt, long grey socks and black heels. Her name is Dr. Erika Slate.
And laying next to her, is a robot that look like a boy, with red hair and blue eyes. He wears white shirt, red shorts with golden belt, red gloves and red boots. His name is Rusty the Boy Robot; Dr. Erika Slate's creation.
"If you asked me, these sounds suspicious." Past Simba said while hold up Rusty's power pack.
"But Rusty was built to be Earth's defender, your Majesty." Dr Slate try to explain.
"And my little Pinocchio is only a little boy." Geppetto said, "Have mercy, your Majesty!"
"You four are wait here till Simba and I learn what we need to know." Past Nala said, "If what you said is true and you're innocent, then you have nothing to fear."
"But we are innocents, Ma'am!" Dr Slate said as Past Simba and Past Nala began leaving the workshop, followed by the present rulers and their spirit guide, "We assure you, we want nothing to do with evil Scar!"
The Past rulers ignoring as Past Simba shut and lock the door, as Kiara arrive with Kovu and his siblings hide within the crowd.
"Mother, Father, what is going on?!" Kiara asked.
"Just taking care of Scar's followers, Kiara." Past Simba said before he turn to Fuli who's here along with Kion and his other friends, "Do it, Fuli."
"Do what?" Kiara asked.
Fuli step forward with a flamethrower, "I was ordered to set the workshop on fire."
"While Dr Slate and others are inside?!" Kiara asked in shock and worry.
"They are hidden Scar's followers and their dangerous weapons that will turn on us, and must be terminate." Past Nala said.
Kiara was shock, "NO! You can't just go and kill anyone without real prove!"
"Prove?!" Past Simba asked before hold up Rusty's Power Pack, "I'm holding nucleoprotons power pack, created by Dr Slate to made evil weapon on us!"
"We can not take any chances, Kiara." Past Nala said before turn towards Fuli, "Do as you're told."
"Yes, your Majesty." Fuli said as she light a flame...
But before Fuli could spread the flame, Kiara tackles her, forcing her to release huge flame around. In spite of Kiara stopping Fuli, the workshop is set on fire!
"No!" Kiara said.
Suddenly, Kovu run pass Kiara and jump through the window of the burning house.
"Kovu!" Kiara said in worry.
Just then, the door was kick down and Kovu carrying Rusty and Pinocchio, Dr. Slate and Geppetto run out before the building coming down.
Before any of them could relax, Kovu, Dr. Slate and Geppetto are upper handing by the guards, along with Pinocchio, Nuka and Vitani.
"It would seem we were correct about them being Scar's loyal followers." Past Simba said, "Since you just saved them, Scar's Heir?"
"Just because I risk my life to save them, doesn't mean they are Scar's followers, your Majesty." Kovu said, "I was doing the right thing. Isn't that what Mufasa would do normally?"
Past Simba growl in rage, "Enough! Don't talk like you know my father!" Past Simba then turn towards the guards, "Take Scar's Heir, his siblings and those weapons to the palace dungeon for execution at dawn."
"As for Dr. Slate and Geppetto," Past Nala said, "Since you two and Kovu claimed you're not Scar's followers, you will be send to the prison island for life till farther notices."
Poor Kiara can only watch as her love, his siblings and innocent people being taking away.
"Well, grumpy, aren't you?" Eva asked to Simba, "Anyway, there's much to see."
With that, Eva flash brightly for the while before the flash fade, revealing the rulers and spirit are now in the throne room of the palace. The rulers and spirit see Past Simba and Past Nala on their thrones, with Kiara, Kion and his friends, standing in front of their King and Queen.
"Now then, we have managed to capture Scar's Heir and his siblings, along with Scar's followers." Past Simba said.
"But there could be other Scar's loyal followers somewhere within the Pride Kingdom. We must be wary of everyone and everything that involves with tyrant Scar." Past Nala said.
"Why don't you lock me up for loving Scar's Heir or stopping Fuli." Kiara muttered.
"Kiara!" Kion muttered.
"Kovu didn't do anything wrong!" Kiara said as she step forward, "He was just trying to save the life of those people you tried to kill!"
"They're Scar's loyal followers." Past Simba said.
"That's a problem!" Kiara said, "Everyone and everything around you, are relating to Scar, to you two. It's been 18 years! Why can't you two just let the past go?!"
"I WILL NOT LET SCAR WIN!" Past Simba angrily yelled, scaring everyone but Nala and Kiara, a bit.
Kiara stare hard on her parents, "You already have, by becoming like him. Both you and mother."
"Enough, Kiara!" Past Nala said, "You are the future queen of this kingdom and must do what needs to be done."
Kiara angrily look at the King and Queen before remove her tiara, "Well, maybe I DON'T want to be the queen!"
"Kiara, you don't mean that, right?" Kion asked.
"How this for answer?" Kiara asked before drop her tiara... THEN STOMP ON IT, breaking it in two!
Everyone was shock of that display, before Past Simba and Past Nala growls in angry... make that; in RAGE!
"PRINCESS KIARA! GO TO YOUR ROOM AND STAY THERE TILL YOU LEARN WHO YOU ARE!" Past Rulers yelled in rage.
Kiara glare at her parents for the moment, before turn to leave the Throne Room.
"Do you regret yelling at her like that?" Eva asked.
"No." Nala said, even with a tiny bit regret on her face.
"She needs to learn." Simba said with same face.
"Oh, she learn something alright." Eva said before flash brightly for the while before the flash fade, revealing the rulers and spirit are now in palace dungeon.
Within one of the dungeon cells, are Kovu, his siblings, power downed Rusty and Pinocchio. Just then, a guard arrive, carrying a large bowl of Gruel, before slide it through the slot on the cell bars.
"Here you go, enjoy it." Guard said with a smug, "Even though you'll be dead before it's digested!" The guard walk away laughing!
"Jerk..." Vitani muttered.
"You deserve this." Simba muttered.
"Sheesh, lighten up, would you, your Majesty?" Eva asked.
Suddenly, the sounds of footsteps was heard before a cloaked figure arrive.
"What the...?" Kovu asked in confuse and surprise.
"I'm busting you out." Cloaked figure said.
Kovu recognize Cloaked figure's female voice, "Kiara?!"
The cloaked figure remove the hood, revealing Kiara, "We're leaving." She pull out the keys she stole from the guard she knocked out, a while ago, and start unlocking the cell door.
Simba and Nala were surprise that their own daughter is helping Scar's followers!
"But Kiara, you'll get into trouble." Kovu said.
"I don't care." Kiara said, "I will NOT stay within this awful, evil place with my cruel, selfish, no-good tyrant rulers!"
Simba and Nala were shock, surprise and most of all; hurt of what their daughter said about them.
"But, you have a future here!" Kovu said.
"My future, is with you and those who suffering by my insane parents." Kiara said as she open the door, "Now, let's go."
Suddenly, Kovu slam the door shut, "No! I can't let you get yourself into trouble because of me."
Kiara open the door, "Kovu, we're all leaving."
Kovu shut the door, "No, we are not."
Kiara open the door, "Yes, we are."
Everyone watches Kovu and Kiara arguing as their heads turn to Kovu then to Kiara then back, each times.
A short argue later... "Yes, we are!" Kiara said as she open the door.
Kovu shut the door so fast, he accidently shut himself out of the cell, "No, we are not!" Then Kovu realizes he's now outside of the cell.
"Well, you got out." Nuka said.
"Kovu, without you, I have no life." Kiara said as she open the door, letting the others out, "Can someone get Rusty."
"And, where will we go?" Vitani asked as Nuka pick up Rusty.
"Anywhere but here." Kiara said as she starts leading Kovu and others through the dungeon hallway, follow by the rulers and the spirit.
"Stay close." Kiara said, "This dungeon is like a maze and it easily to get lost."
Suddenly, Nuka trip on something and because Rusty is a bit heavy, it took a pretty long time for Nuka to get up before notices the others have gone too far, "Guys...?" Nuka run to catch up, only to find a three tunnels.
"Great..." Nuka said before he went to the left tunnel as the rulers and Eva watches, "I'll go this way. I mean, what can go wrong, finding the ways?"
No sooner after he asked...
GROWLS!
"OH! Nice Doggies! Nice Doggies!" Nuka's voice was heard before his scream.
"Poor guy." Eva said, "he seem to have some terrible luck."
"He got what he deserve." Nala said with her husband agree.
Eva roll her eyes before with a snap of her fingers, she and the rulers suddenly, find themselves in one of the tunnels where Kiara and others, quietly sneak though the hallway for the while, before they arrive at the door.
"OK." Kiara muttered, "This should lead us outside." Kiara open the door...
Only to reveal a room full of guards!
"...Wrong door..." Kiara just said.
"SOUND THE ALARM! PRISONERS ESCAPED AND CAPTURED THE PRINCESS!" The captain of the guards said as the guards charge.
Quickly, Kiara shut the door and use a spear nearby, to lock the door and she and others run off as the trapped guards are banging the door. A while later, the escapers run up the stairs as few guards pursuing them. Pinocchio was in front, scream in fear as one guard in front of them, with a dagger in his hand. The guard is about to kill or in this case, destroy the wooden puppet, but Kovu ram the guard, and flip the guard over him and others, and roll him towards the other guards like a bowling ball.
"Kovu, are you alright?!" Kiara asked as she notices her lover is covering his left side of his face, and seeing few blood.
"I'm fine." Kovu said as he remove his hand, revealing a deep cut across his eye, "The dagger didn't take my eye, but I think, it leave a scar."
"Hey, where's Nuka?!" Vitani asked.
"LET ME OUT OF HERE!"
Everyone look up at the next deck, seeing Nuka with Rusty on his shoulder, is being chase by the German Shepherd guard dog. Just then, Kiara heard guards from down stairs, slowly got up.
"We need to go, now." Kiara said before look up, "Nuka, find your way to the front yard, we'll meet you there!"
"OK!" Nuka said as he still running, trying to keep his tail away from the dog's biting mouth.
Kiara and others run pass the door before close and lock it. They are now, in the hallway of the palace. With Kiara leading, the others run through the hallway, dodging the patrolling guards as they try to capture Kiara and her friends.
"Can't those idiots just catch them?!" Simba asked with a growl.
"Chill out, your Majesty." Eva said, "There's more to come."
Kiara's group rush towards the window and jump through it, breaking the glass. They rolling land on the ground of the front yard, only to meet more guards, surrounding and cornering them near the garage doors.
"Freeze! We have you surrounded!" Leader of the guards said as his men and women aim their guns at them, "Princess Kiara, please come to us. We'll take you back to your room."
"Get ready to run towards the garage's door." Kiara whispered to Kovu and others, as she pull couple of hand grenades out of her cloak pocket, before pull the pins, "NO THANKS!" Kiara throw the grenades near the guards.
"GRENADES!" The leader said before all guards run for cover as Kiara's group quickly run towards the garage, got through the shut it, just before the grenades explode.
"How did Kiara get her hands on Grenades?!" Nala asked in shock and surprise.
After the explosion is clear, the guards come out of their covers, and rush towards the garage door, when suddenly, the doors broke down, with a speeding car drive through and speed off.
"Shoot the car!" Leader said.
"We can't!" One of the guards said, "We might injury or worst, kill the Princess!"
"That is Fuli's car, isn't it?" Eva asked.
"Yeah..." Simba said.
The car speed around yard and passing the guards whose couldn't do anything without injuring the princess and future queen. Then, the car in full speed, charge towards the giant gates.
"Hold on!" Vitani said on the driving seat.
Then suddenly, the car smash through the gates.
"Wow." Eva said to the rulers, "Hope Fuli got a insurance for her car."
"Yeah!" Vitani said, "We're out of here!"
"Wait!" Kiara said, "We can't leave Nuka and Rusty!"
Back within the palace ground...
"Make way! Make way!" Suddenly, Nuka with Rusty on his shoulder, break through the doors while still being chase by a dog, "One side! Coming through!"
Nuka run through the rulers and the spirit, follow by the dog who manage to grab Nuka's trousers with its teeth, and try to pull back while Nuka trying to get away.
"Don't just stand there, capture him!" Leader said to the guards.
But out of nowhere, a grenade land just near his feet...
"Oh no." Leader just said before...
KAABOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!
The explosion cause the guards to fly around. The leader of the guards was flying over the palace and landed in the pound. As for Nuka...
"YO! GERONIMO!"
Nuka and Rusty fall from the sky, near Kiara's group.
"That was awesome!" Nuka said as he got up, "I was nearly touch the cloud."
"Just get in the car!" Vitani said as she and Kovu load Rusty in the car.
Once Nuka climb in, the car took off before the recovered guards could do anything.
"Now that was great and funny show." Eva said, "Too bad no one can catch up to them in Fuli's car."
"Yes." Simba said, "All because that incompetent Cheetah had modified her car to be the fastest car in the world!"
"And those followers of Scar had taking our daughter!" Nala said.
"I think you've missing the point, your Majesty." Eva said, "Kiara left on her own free will. Now then, there's two more stops to go. First one is about 30 minutes after the escaping part." With that, Eva flash brightly for the while before the flash fade, revealing the rulers and spirit are back in the throne room of the palace.
"ESCAPED!" Past Simba's voice was heard before Kion thrown pass rulers and their spirit guide, and hit the wall.
"How can you let those followers of Scar to escaped and take your future queen?!" Past Nala asked to Kion and his friends whose also, in the Throne Room.
"But, Mum, Dad! It wasn't our fault!" Kion said while groan in pain as he slowly, got up.
"Yeah!" Bunga said, "Kiara is the one who whack Fuli on the head while guarding Kiara in her bedroom, then stole Fuli's keys."
"Thanks for reminder, Bunga." Fuli said while holding a bag of ice cubes on her head.
"I don't want excuses!" Past Simba said, "I starting to questions your loyalties."
Kion and his friends were shock to hear that.
"You're not saying we're loyal to that evil Scar?!" Fuli asked.
"If that not the case," Past Nala started, "Then, go out there, rescue your future queen and bring her home safely." Past rulers then, went to their thrones, and sit down as Past Nala continues, "Till then, no one sleeps."
"Or come home..." Past Simba finished.
Kion and his friends were even more shock.
"Well? Get to it!" Past Simba roared.
Then, after bowing to the past rulers, Kion and his friends leaves the Throne Room and the palace. Meanwhile, past rulers growls softy in angry as they clawed their armrests.
"Grouchy, grouchy, grouchy." Eva said, "You have harden your heat and push your family away."
"Well... things might have got better if Kion just did as he was told, and find Kiara." Simba said.
"Instead, he and his friends found something else." Eva said, "A very angry bear which been woken by Bunga. They managed to escaped with Kion having a scar across his left eye. Plus, with not allow to go home, they were weaken by cold and hunger. Thankfully, they were rescue by Rani and her family then been offered to stay and work in the Tree of Life. And now, the last stop; a year later." Then, Eva flash brightly for the while before the flash fade, revealing the rulers and spirit are now in Tree of Life Residential care centre.
Simba and Nala turn to see Kion and Rani working on few beds.
"How's the scar?" Rani asked after they finished their tasks and leave the room, follow by the rulers and their guide.
"No more pain." Kion answered, "I'm thankful for you and your family's help."
"No problem." Rani said, "Glad we were there when you need help."
Soon, Rani and Kion arrive in the room where heathy Jana just finished wrapping the bandages on young patient's arm.
"There we go." Jana said as she taped the bandage, "Be more careful for now on."
"Yes, ma'am." Patient said before went off.
Just then, Beshte, Fuli and Surak walk in, carrying boxes, "Supplies are here, mother." Surak said.
"Wonderful." Jana said, "I just run out of bandages."
Then, Fuli turn towards Kion, "Kion, There's something you need to know."
"What is it?" Kion asked.
"On our way back from shopping, we drove pass the palace and you will not believe what we heard." Surak said.
"What happen?!" Kion asked.
"Well, because they have trust issues," Beshte started, "The King and Queen had fired the staffs within the palace!"
"WHAT?!" Kion asked in shock while his ghost-like parents, turn their heads away, "You mean, no one works there?! The Butlers? The Maids? All members of the palace staffs?!"
"All except the guards and Limo driver as long as they stay outside of the palace." Fuli said, "The only ones allow inside the palace, are Zazu and Rafiki."
"But... But why?!" Kion asked.
"They tired shield themselves inside of their palace, from everyone and everything around them." Jana said before she hug Kion, "We'll be by your side Kion. That's a promise."
"Thanks, Jana..." Kion muttered.
Not wanting to see more, Nala turn to her spirit guide, "Spirit, show us no more!"
"Were you delighted making us look bad?!" Simba asked.
"Hey!" Eva said, "I told you; these were shadows of the things that have been, that they are what they are! You can't blame me for your screw-ups!"
"Just take us home." Nala said, placing her hands against her face.
"Just remember, your Majesties." Eva started as the scenery fading into blackness, "You two, made those memories yourself." Eva's voice echo through darkness before Simba and Nala find themselves back in their bedroom alone.
As the tears slowly building in their eyes, Simba and Nala return to their bed and went to sleep... for now.
