It was late at night. Kitana was standing on her balcony with her hands behind her back and worried about Jade lying unconscious in the infirmary after she back to normal.
Kitana wanted to entrust Jade entirely to the competent doctors in the royal family, but she couldn't because Jade had been a friend who had gone through life and death with her for over a thousand years.
Kitana tried hard liquor and read the thickest material she could find in the archives but to no avail. But Kitana did not give up on Jade, constantly reminding her that Jade would wake up because she was a strong fighter.
Before Kitana could press the panic button because her tension was at its peak, the guard hurriedly opened the door and entered Kitana's room. The guard seemed to be out of breath as he ran at full speed to Kitana's room
"Your Majesty. I have urgent news for you."
"Take your time," Kitana let the guard catch some breath.
"Is Jade awake?" Kitana asked with a very nervous look.
"Yes Your Majesty."
"Good job. Go get some sleep," Kitana quickly ran to the infirmary.
Although Kitana was wearing high heels, her magic prevented her from falling. As soon as Kitana entered the infirmary, she looked for Jade. Royal family medical chief approached Jade.
"How is Jade?" The first thing Kitana asked the medical chief about was how Jade was doing.
"She should refrain from excessive physical activity as she has just regained consciousness, but considering the speed at which she has recovered from her injuries, she should be back to normal within a week." The medical chief gave Kitana the good news.
The medical chief backed off and allowed Kitana to meet her. Kitana ran to the bed where Jade at and held Jade's hand. Kitana let out a sigh of relief and smiled.
"Can you guys give us a moment?" Kitana asked to leave the room politely.
"Sure," and everyone in the infirmary gave them a moment.
Kitana sat down in a chair and started to have a chat with Jade.
"How does it feel to come back from the dead?" Kitana asked.
"The first question you ask me after waking up is not are you okay, but how do you feel coming back from the dead?" Jade joked.
Kitana giggled because It was good to hear Jade joke.
"Well honestly, it was sucks. You know what it feels like to have someone forcefully resurrect a dead person and become a corpse full of vengeance," Jade reminded Kitana that she had been through the same thing.
"I know how it feels."
Jade raised her slightly throbbing body to face Kitana and sat down on the bed.
"Aren't you throbbing?" Kitana worried about Jade.
"Little bit," Jade smiled as if telling Kitana not to worry.
Kitana felt she is on top of the world seeing Jade smiling and welcoming her as a living person rather than antagonizing her as a Revenant. Kitana couldn't stop smiling when she saw that the friend who shared her pain had returned.
"The doctor said you were very anxious when I was unconscious. Is it true?" Jade was curious.
"I was so anxious that I almost hit the panic button," Kitana admitted.
Jade went over to Kitana and hugged her. Kitana could feel Jade's warmth for the first time in a while. Maybe that's why she had a happier expression than when she was with anyone in the world.
"You don't have to be anxious anymore. I'm here and I won't let you in trouble for the rest of your life. I promise," Jade promised to stay with Kitana rest of her life.
"Thank you so much, Jade."
At that moment, the alarm clock rang, letting them know that it was time to go to bed.
"Well, the alarm clock just rain in our parade," Kitana expressed regret over the brief encounter.
"Well then. Have a good night," Jade kissed Kitana's cheek.
Kitana got up, looked back at Jade, and smiled as she left the infirmary. Kitana approached the chief medical officer who was waiting outside the infirmary.
"If anything happens to her, let me know right away," Kitana entreats favor.
"Yes Your Majesty."
Kitana returned to her room with a smile of relief. Kitana went back to her room and while sorting things out on the shelf, Kitana picked up Jade's portrait. Kitana's life had formed a bond with Jade to the extent that it could not be explained by excluding her, so Kitana treasured things related to Jade.
After dusting off the portrait, Kitana placed it carefully on the shelf. Kitana took the blue pajama she had been personally gifted by Cassie Cage from the shelf, changed into it, and lay down on the bed. Kitana couldn't sleep last night because she was worried about Jade, but she can now go to her sleep.
The next day, late morning
Kitana was learning the wisdom of her ancestors while reading books to become a wise Kahn. When Kitana was almost done reading, someone knocked on the door.
"Come in."
The medical chief opened the door and came inside. Kitana greeted the medical chief with a handshake.
"Good Morning, chief."
"Your Majesty."
"I hope you brought some good news."
The medical chief stepped aside and Jade showed herself. Jade smiled and approached Kitana. When Kitana saw Jade back to normal, she hugged Jade for joy.
"You look good, Jade."
"I am good Kitana. I am very good."
Kitana broke the hug and looked at chief.
"Her condition is getting better, but I think she needs a bit more time."
"Thank you, chief."
"I am just doing my job, Your Majesty," He lowered his head, closed the door, and returned to the infirmary.
And now there were only two of them in the room. It had been a long time since they had talked face-to-face in her room. Because Kitana was busy restoring order in the messed up Outworld, Jade became a revenant and was blinded by revenge.
"Are there any precautions the chief gave you?"
"Maybe if you feel the urge to kill, come up to the infirmary as soon as possible?" Jade joked.
"Let's hope not to happen," Kitana giggled.
They walked to the balcony and observed the people busily working in the city. A fishmonger was cutting and selling freshly caught fish to customers, soldiers were patrolling the market, and children were running around. Kitana smiled as she saw the people living in peace. Jade wondered why Kitana was smiling.
"What makes you smile?" Jade asked.
"Looking at those who were oppressed and unable to live for themselves, and now live for themselves makes me smile," Kitana, too, was a victim of tyranny and knew what it was like to have control over life taken away, so she reacted positively to changes in the lives of her people.
"And the fact that my best friend who went through hard times together back also makes me smile," Kitana let Jade know that even though Jade had changed for a while, Kitana's friendship with her hadn't faded.
Jade smiles when she realizes that Kitana has remained a friend despite Jade having gone rogue unintentionally.
"Hey," Jade called Kitana.
"Yes?" Jade turned her head to the right where Kitana was standing.
Suddenly, Jade's lips touched Kitana's lips. They had kissed each other on the cheek but never kissed each other on the lips, so it was an eye-opening contact with Kitana. But Jade's kiss made Kitana feel like Jade love Kitana, so Kitana thought to herself.
"Is she love me? Has she had a crush on me for a long time? What should I do?" Kitana didn't know which decision to make, as her decisions could affect her future.
At that moment, the advice Raiden had given Kitana flashed through her mind.
"Love motivates life."
After becoming Kahn, a leader, Kitana felt obliged to lead her people on the right path, but as a person, she still had no motivation. But Jade's sincere kiss gave Kitana a golden opportunity to motivate her life, and she didn't want to miss it.
"About the kiss, you just gave me on the lips... were you mean it?" Kitana wanted to check that Jade's kiss on Kitana's lips was sincere.
Instead of saying "yes", Jade responded with a more passionate kiss than before. They couldn't talk right now, but now Kitana was able to motivate her life, and Jade was finally able to confess her love for Kitana.

"I have a schedule, so I think I need to be away from you for a while," Kitana begged her pardon.
"Sure. Now that you've become a Kahn, you must be busier than before," Jade understood Kitana's action.
"Take some rest. And please don't break my stuff."
"Okay," Jade giggled.
Kitana opened the door and out of her room. Kitana politely greeted everyone she met while she was going somewhere. However, contrary to Jade's expectations, the place Kitana visited was the kitchen. The chef, who was preparing ingredients in the kitchen, put his knife out of his hand when he found Kitana in the kitchen.
"Your Majesty," the chef bowed.
"We don't do that here," Kitana hated anyone bowing down to her.
"What is the reason you came to the workplace of such a lowly person?" the chef asked with respect.
"head of the security service made her comeback today after treatment in the infirmary, and I want to do something special for her," Kitana explained why she came to the kitchen.
"You want a special dish for her at the dinner. I can deal with it," the chef showed confidence.
"I am counting on you," Kitana trusted his cooking skills.
Kitana smiled and went back to her room, looking forward to the wonderful dishes he would make.
Evening
It was evening. They started to get hungry.
"Am I the only one hungry right now?" Kitana tested the water.
"You are not the only one." Jade was also hungry.
Just as they were about to complain of hunger, someone knocked on the door at the perfect time.
"Just in time," Kitana quickly got up from her chair and opened the door.
Kitana was handed a tray with dishes for two, closed the door, and set the tray on the table. Jade was very curious about what kind of dish it was. Jade was surprised when she realized that it was her favorite fish dish.
"Isn't this your favorite fish dish?" Kitana pretended to be surprised in front of Jade to hide that it was a dish she had requested.
Jade picked up her chopsticks, picked up a piece of cooked fish, and tasted it. When the food was cooked the way Jade wanted, she smiled happily.
"I missed this so much."
Kitana was delighted to see that her lover, Jade was happy with a single dish and to know that her plan had worked. Jade was so hungry that she hurriedly ate her food, and so did Kitana. And they ate dinner without any conversation.
Later on
They finished their dinner in less than 30 minutes with expressions of satisfaction.
"How was it?" Kitana asked.
"I think it tastes better than the one he made before." Jade praised the dish he made.
Then Jade got up from her seat. Kitana wondered why Jade got up.
"Mind if I ask where are you gonna go?"
Jade arranged empty plates and utensils, placed them on the tray, and lifted the tray.
"To the kitchen. I want to personally say thank you to him," Jade liked the food enough to thank the chef directly.
"Fair enough."
Jade opened the door and headed into the kitchen. Jade politely knocked on the kitchen and faced the chef. Jade handed over the tray chef and asked for a handshake.
"It was such a fabulous dish. As always, you have my respect," Jade thanked him politely with some respect.
"You are welcome, Ms. Jade."
As Jade was about to leave the kitchen, "But how did the chef figure out what I wanted to eat? Is it a coincidence?" A thought popped into her head. Perhaps the habit of her days as a centurion remained.
"I'm curious, why did you treat me to my favorite dish?" The reason Jade asked that question was that she knew that a chef is not someone who won't make a special dish unless requested. Jade also assumed that the chef would never lie, so if she asked a question, he would answer honestly.
"I will be honest, Ms. Jade. Kitana Khan requested to make a special dish for you. And as a royal chef, I did Kahn's favor," He told the truth without any hesitation.
"Kitana asked you? And did you do her favor?" Jade double-checked his answer.
"Yes, Ms. Jade."
As Jade listened to his candid response, it became clear in her mind that the request Kitana had made to the chef was an answer to the kiss Jade had given her. Jade ran out of the kitchen like Archimedes leaping out of the bathtub naked in the wake of new knowledge.
Jade quickly opened the door and found Kitana on the balcony. Jade ran up to Kitana and kissed her abruptly. However, as if Kitana expected this situation, she was not at all taken aback.
Now that their love is starting to kindle, all they can do is put out the fire or add fuel to it, but they don't seem to want to put out the fire. And as if the fuel they were adding to the fire was the bed, they headed towards the bed while kissing passionately.
Even though Kitana was the Kahn of the Outworld, the initiative to control the fire belonged to Jade, not Kitana, so Jade carefully pushed Kitana onto the bed and laid her down.
Jade took off her favorite green full armor and dark green undergarments in front of Kitana. They had taken full-body baths in the same bathtub several times, so they weren't particularly shy about each other's naked bodies.
While Jade was showing off the body of a centurion, Kitana took off her tight blue dress to show off a figure worthy of the title of Kahn. Now they are ready to add fuel to the fire.
Jade approached Kitana with a smirk similar to that of a carnivore that has spotted its prey. When Jade made eye contact with Kitana, Jade touched Kitana's chin carefully as if touching an expensive item, and gave her a sweet kiss on the lips.
They kissed for a while before Jade stopped kissing and her lips made a touch against Kitana's body. Jade's lips slowly glided down Kitana's figure, feeling the curve of Kitana's body. When every time Jade left a kiss mark on every part of Kitana's torso, Kitana twitched and made out a soft moan sound just like the music to Jade's ears.
After a few more kisses, Jade's lips reached Kitana's melon and cling to Kitana's melons like metal sticking to a magnet. Kitana's melons were a perfect balance of size and shape, so Jade loved playing with them.
"Why every single part of your body is so beautiful?" Jade envied.
Kitana's spine arched when Jade kissed and suck melons. Kitana knew Jade was a fighter with talent but hadn't known until now that Jade had a talent for satisfying women in bed.
Jade's lips met the fresh air again because Jade didn't want to spend too much energy playing with Kitana's melon rather than Kitana's womanhood.
While Jade's lips glided down Kitana's upper body, Kitana's six-pack stomach got her attention. Jade kissed Kitana's six-pack, which was a prime example. But even Kitana's six-pack couldn't completely divert Jade's attention, because all Jade wanted was Kitana's glittering womanhood.
So Jade placed herself between Kitana's legs, pulled her legs closer to her, and placed them at her shoulder. Jade looked up at Kitana, to check if she is ready to feel ecstasy. To Jade, it seems like Kitana was ready. So Jade goes straight to Kitana's womanhood.

Jade slowly crawled up to Kitana and lay down next to her. Kitana lay on her side and looked at Jade's pretty face. Kitana leaned towards Jade and kissed her. Kitana's hand glide down Jade's hands towards to between Jade's legs.
At this moment when they were lying on the bed together in a room, nothing could disturb them. Even Elder Gods could not hinder them. And until they die, they will cherish this moment for the rest of their lives and protect each other.
