So each chapter I make him be each chapter in the game. So chapter one was the prologue and chapter 2 is going to be the first chapter in the game. I will be trying to make them all in one chapter but don't be surprise if I have to make some chapters into two parts. Especially since I'm going to be changing some things I didn't like in the game. Don't get me wrong I love the game and can't wait til it comes out on console so i can play it myself but there are somethings that I didn't like.
Also to clarified this au is a bnha fantsy au, which is why there are talks about magic and kingdoms. Instead of Quirks there are magic and when magic emerged in humans, beings that people thought were magical and myths started coming out. There will be more worldbuilding later once they get out of the studio but think of this world's hero system as like Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explores of Sky and Darkness to give you the idea. Also I wanted to do something different for once! You all seen my bnha fics now right? I got to be tired to be writing the same old thing over and over again lol.
Also if you see on the AO3 version of this fic I had to add some more tags. I forgot that I'm planning on doing somethings that are not for the faint of heart. its still rated T but it will get...bloody so be warned everyone!
Anyway chapter 2 of this fic! Hope you all enjoy. Oh and some spoilers for the game in the end notes just to warn people.
Izuku stands there, listening to the running ink before she shakes her head and goes back up the stairs. Climbing up the brick wall she sighs in relief seeing that Charley, 'No Alice called it a Piper," was no longer there.
Pulling herself up, she looks around before spotting another note, "Man these things are just lying everywhere, aren't they," she mutters as she picks it up and softly begins to read it.
Around here, it's just best to stay out of sight. Don't ever go running into some place if you don't know what's in there! If you attack someone head on, you're going to find yourself in trouble. And that's just foolish!
You gotta watch, listen, and when the time is right, push forward.
-Your Best Pal
"So…the opposite of Bakugou," Izuku snorts, stuffing the note into her bag. Seeing an open door she heads inside, looking around before she stops, staring with wide eyes. In front of her, stood a mirror which showed her reflection.
She took a step forward, her head tilted. Horns resembling Bendy's were poking out of her head but unlike Bendy's she had almost a green shine coming from them, which really poked out in this world of sepia. Her clawed hand presses against the glass slowly sliding down as she stared at her face. Ink slowly dripped down on the left side of her face, and no matter how hard she tried to wipe it away, more just dripped down. Her right eye was no longer green, but a glowing golden eye almost shining like golden flames.
"Oh…oh by the Go-" she stills, before she opens her mouth. Instead of her regular teeth, fierce sharpened fangs were revealed to her. Using the hand with the fingers not covered in ink she slowly touched them, wincing as they pricked at her fingers. Her hand slowly went down as she frowned.
"Daddy! Daddy!" a young three year old Izuku scrambled towards a man with white hair, his red eyes gleaming as he kneels down, opening his arms wide for the young child to tackle him. "Daddy! When will I get teeth and horns like you?" the young Izuku said, poking her fingers into his mouth, poking at the very sharp fangs.
The man chuckles, blowing hot air onto her face making her giggle. "You got some growing up to do, my little hatchling. Give it a year or too and I promise you," his red eyes shined down at her, his white scaled tail swishing back and forth, "You will become the fearist dragon Ultras had ever known,"
Izuku opens her eyes, pulling away from the mirror to hold her clawed hand. She sighs, shaking her head. "Don't think about him…just don't. It's been 14 years since he left,'
Turning away from the mirror, she crouches down underneath a metal beam, finding herself in a room that had a giant Boris plushie and 'WHERE'S THE TOYMAN?' written in ink. Finding another recorder she presses play onto it.
"Yeah so those Gent Corporation Boys are kinda… strange. Everytime I come back to work, they put in even more of their pointless gadgets. Like last week they put in some kind of electrical towers over near Animation Alley. This week, they added security codes for opening doors. Geez, what kind of work do they ink we do here anyway? I checked we make toys and silly cartoons. This ain't a vault to some royal family! You know what I mean? Now it's my job to look over these shipping invoices and remember a bunch of random numbers? No freaking thank you! I'm just going to record the door code here so I don't forget it. The code is 451. And if Mister Drew or Mister Grey asks, you didn't hear it from me."
Izuku looks around and finds a door and beside it could only be the security lock. Going over to it, she quickly types into the code and the grate slowly opens. She winces at the sound of the creaks she made but she shakes her head and keeps walking. Grabbing a bag of Tasty Eats chips and stuffing it into her bag. Just in case she got injured again.
Heading down the stairs, she looked up as the building suddenly shook. Anxious, she quickly leaps down, only stopping when she finds another audio log. She frowns when she hears the voice of Wilson coming from it.
"It seems that Arch Gate Studios, in all it's misplaced admiration, was so eager to absorb the life's work of that crooked charlatan Joey Drew they didn't fully realize what th had acquired.
Call it fate that I just happened to be there on the loading dock that morning. When the delivery boys dropped one of the crates, it smashed open and there was something truly special. A mass of yellow steel and beautiful rivets. Some kind of machine. No one knew what it was. So the fools put it on display, for all to see. But I could tell that this crude device, brimming with so much magic, held secrets. Secrets that could be mine.
"He knew.." Izuku whispers, taking a shaky breath, "So he knew…of course he did," shaking her at her stupidity, she climbs over another brick wall, pulling herself up. A loud gurgling roar sounded to her right and she turned to see Piper slamming a door shut. Anxious and worry that she'll be jumped again she looked around to find another way, but instead found a lever which she pulled.
Finding the door that the Piper shut, she walks through finding herself in what looked like a locker room. Before she could go any father, she stops, her nose twitching as she smells something…wonderful, something that made her mouth water. Looking around her eyes zoned it on a glowing pod that was oozing ink, but this ink was different. Instead of the inky black, it was a beautiful gold…pure gold that seemed to draw Izuku near. It felt warm, like it was slowly draining the coldness that she didn't even notice. Before she knew it, she was pressing her nose against it, her body shivering as warmth spread into her body. Without knowing why, she stuck out her tongue and gave the glowing golden pod a small lick.
Eyes widening, pupils dilating, she gives out a screech before biting into the pod, ripping it from the wall it was attached to. Golden ink gushed free, dripping to the floor and drenching her shirt but Izuku paid no mind to it. She slurps and bites, gulping down as much of the delicious golden ink as she could. Licking at her fingers she purrs.
She then blinks when her vision turns gold, before pain erupted in her arms. Grabbing her left hand, her eyes widened as the black ink slowly began to ripple before small spikes emerged near her elbow, green in color.
Panting, blinking as her vision returned to normal she turned to the shredded pod, slowly taking a step back. Looking around, Izuku looks for a way out of the locker room. After pushing a cart away, she holds the lock tightly that was keeping the door closed and growls before letting it drop. After looking through the lockers, Izuku finds a pair of keys hanging in one and luckily they were the ones to open the gate.
Izuku was so lost in thought that when she grabbed the bar door to push it open, that she couldn't help but drop onto her buttwith a scream at what could only be Edgar jumping down from the ceiling and onto the bar door. It hissed and gurgle at her, shaking the bars with his hands but Izuku hisses back as she stood up.
To her surprise, shadowy ink-like patterns emerged from her hooves, slowly creeping against the floor and walls. With a frightening screech, Edgar hops away from the shadows, crawling back up the ceiling. Izuku stood there blinking in confusion as the shadows slowly walking through the now opened door. Looking around Izuku finds herself in what could only be some sort of lobby. There was even some sort of cafeteria. Seeing a machine that said Studio Tour she pressed the button.
"Everyone knows that a happy working man needs a place where you can sit back and enjoy something tasty. I'm Joey Drew and you're standing in our grand and expensive new employee break room! My company family always deserves the best. By partnering with Briar Label and Tasty Bins, I'm able to provide the most delicious treats out of very cheap costs to our workers. Pull up a chair and chow down my friends!"
"Definitely on the expensive side," Izuku mumbles as she walks around, "No wonder this place lost money so quickly," looking around she put the spare food and Gent parts into her bag before leaving the lounge. Her green eyes look around warily the deeper she went in, stopping when she stared at what looked like a movie theater entrance that said it was the entrance of Animation Alley. Sighing, she kneels down to grab the audio log that was sitting in a crate.
"I'm ready for something different in my career. I've built steel companies from the ground up, dabbled in petroleum, even tried political office once. "That Nathan Arch" they use to say, "He's got the magic touch!" But I'm hungry for a bit of fun, I think. Something both the masses and I can enjoy. My son suggested movies. Open a studio! Now I love a good film as much as anyone, but the magic of animation, now there's something special! My old friend Joey knew the thrills of bringing characters to life, rest his soul. Maybe with a bit of elbow grease and a small cash investment, I can resurrect the past."
Standing up, Izuku tried to use the keys that she found to unlock the gate that kept her from Animation Alley. But to her dismay she stares at the now broken key, "This is getting old," shaking her head she looks around, through desks and crates hoping to find another set of keys.
"I know you're out there," Izuku stands up hearing Alice's voice, "Please answer me," Looking both ways her eyes landed on what could only look like a speaker or something, she couldn't remember the name. Walking over to it she calls out a hello and to her relief Alice calls back, "Izuku? Oh I'm so glad you're alright,"
Izuku laughs a bit, clinging to the rim of the speaker, "Alice… I think you and I have very different definitions of 'alright'," she sighs, trembling a bit, "Like…I saw a glowing golden pod and I went feral over it, ripping it apart to gulp down the liquid inside and then earlier," she turns around warily looking at the ceiling, "What look like a Edgar jump at me but then these shadowy ink or whatever emerge from my hooves and scared it off,"
Alice was silent for a bit, making Izuku worry before her voice echoed from the speaker, "I'm sorry Izuku, I should have warned you more. Lesson two: those glowing pods are our main food source. We can eat food like bacon soup and chips, but the golden liquid is what everyone really craves for. It gives you more strength and lets you handle more attacks from others. The thing is…that for newbies like you..it makes the process into a full Ink Creature faster. And the more you transform the more you…lose yourself.
"Lose myself?" Izuku gulps, "Like… how I…couldn't help but eat the…" she shakes her head, "Alice it was like I became some sort of animal,"
"It's something like that," Alice explains, "Now about the shadows of Ink. That's an ability the Ink Demon was able to do. It was a warning to most of us when he was roaming around to find a place to hide. It might actually be useful to you…for Searchers and the Butcher Gang their forms can't handle it…just don't do it to the Lost Ones…they will attack you,"
"Right…find some way to call on inky shadows to keep Searchers and the Butcher Gang away…don't do it to Lost Ones.."
"Where are you?" Izuku blinks and looks around more.
"Animation department entrance," she turns back to the speaker, "But its lock up tight,"
"Good. That means you're heading up," Izuku sighs at this in relief, "Look for anything you can use to break in. There might be a Gent Pipe nearby," Izuku couldn't help but make a confuse whine, "Oh don't judge it by its name. The Gent Pipe is the most powerful weapon you can have down there,"
"Alice…your sword sounds better than a Pipe. Also can't I just use my claws?," Izuku then gasps as the ceiling begins to shake a hiss erupting from within the shadows, "Damn it…that Striker must still be up there,"
"Izuku…find that Gent Pipe. You're still fresh in your new form...your claws won't be strong enough to do any damage to even a Searcher." Izuku sighs, pulling away from the Speaker. She took one step when the strike jumps down from the ceiling, striking her against her back. Izuku grunts in pain, but quickly runs into the miracle station that was in the entrance. She winces as her back throbbed in pain as the Striker bounces around before leaping back into the shadows of the ceiling.
Grimacing as the door creaks, "Ok…Piper can see you through these things…Strikers cannot…" walking around, she tries to find a Gent Pipe. Whatever that was, but as she went through a door instead of a pipe she found a bunch of what look like money, with a note beside it.
"Management has come up with a new way to 'reward' us employees: Instead of paying out bonuses or overtime, they've started handing out these little tokens that you can spend in the company vending machines. Besides that, these tokens aren't of any value of any kind. Obviously, a lot of people didn't like that idea.
But the best part about the whole thing is that, within a week, someone figure out a way to make fake tokens that fools the vending machines. We started calling the fake ones 'SLUGS'. Now, I can't remember the last time I've seen a real token around here. Them SLUGS are everywhere!
Probably costing the studio a TON of money in snacks alone.
-Hudson Doyle.
Izuku looks at the SLUGS, before grabbing a handful of them, "Better than grabbing food from the damn trash,"
Izuku bites at her lips, claws and fingers gripping at the chainlink fence as she stared at the hanging body in another room, "Oh no…" she whispers staring at the tool that was impaled in the ink man's chest, "That's the Gent Pipe, isn't it." he turns to the door, jiggling at the knob and groaning, "Why is there always something locking or blocking the doors?"
"Who's in there?" Izuku jumps at the voice and crouches down hiding behind some wood. A man opens the grate beside the speaker, Izuku's eyes widening as she looks at his body which was covered in ink from head to toe. "If I find you, I'm going to rip your face off!"
"Oh…no thank you, I rather like my face even though people say it's plain looking," Izuku thought as she stayed low, keeping to the shadows as the ink man walked by. Keeping her breathing steady, she walked by him as his back was turned, before making a run for the doorway that he exit.
Standing up after crawling through a hole in a brick wall, she frowns, "The fuse is broken" she mutters seeing that the Atrium Supplies doors was lock shut because the electric lock switch was broken, "Hopefully I can find one somewhere," she then blinks and sighs shoulders slumping, "When did my life become a video game?"
After sneaking away from the Ink man, wincing when he smashed a barrel with a pipe, she looked around the entrance. She growls under her breath, shadows emerging from her hooves before she takes a deep breath to calm herself.
She finds herself back in the lounge, looking at the tables to see if maybe someone left a fuse when another door slams open. "Who's out there," roared another Ink man, barely missing spotting Izuku as she crouches down, "Kitchen's closed!"
Heart beating, she quickly heads to the Miracle Station, using the tables to hide from him. Peeking through the hole she waited for him to pass by her before exiting the station and crawling towards the table closest to the kitchen. At the sound of him biting into something, she zips by, standing up fully when she got inside. Looking around as quietly as she could her eyes lit up at the sight of the fuse sticking from a cake in the trash. "Well, happy birthday to me," Izuku said, pulling it free.
With many miss calls, almost getting spotted she made her way back to the fuse box. Screwing the fuse into the box, she taps at it as it lights up, "Locks should be fix, time to get that Gent Pipe,"
Wiping at her brow, flickering the dripping ink from her face off her hand, she walks into the Atrium Supplies room. She pulls out a bit of chips and munches on them, the pain from her back fading away. She blinks as she spots another note picking it up and reading it as she enters the room where the hanging ink man with the pipe in his chest was in.
"We're playing with fire. No question about it. First Gent comes in here and puts the heavy pipes over everyone's head. Must weigh a ton! Then Joey opens up the place for tours to the general public. Are we really thinking this through? For the God's sake, Sammy music department is constantly flooded! And while I was giving a tour last week, we almost lost a whole dang wall when a valve blew out! Stupid tour group applauded thinking it was part of the show.
I know Joey is looking to drum up some cash lately. But this is just asking for a disaster to strike, especially since Joey has been asking around for each department to give out something to appease the Gods. At least that's what I heard from Wally. Even I know asking any God for something is going to be a landslide of trouble.
-Hudson Doyle
"I don't blame you for that," Izuku whispers, staring at the pipe. Grimacing she carefully grabs the pipe before pulling it out of the body. Sticking out her tongue when she got sprayed with inky blood she stares at the pipe, "At least now I can defend myself,"
Walking out of the room, she hisses when the ink man emerges from the corner, screaming on how he was going to rip her apart. With a few strikes the man drops to the ground, popping into a pool of puddles.
Once she left the room, her eyes widened as there were now more, some even looking like a female. Ignoring how they whisper about Wilson, about wanting to die, she strikes each one down as they charge towards her. Panting she glares at the lock and strikes it down, the chain snapping in one hit.
After pulling another lever Izuku crouches underneath some boards, taking a step into a pool of ink. Her body stops in place, her arms begin to tremble. Heart beating, she whines, trying to pull herself free…but she couldn't move. Wobbling on her feet she almost falls over, only staying up by leaning against the wall.
Pain, aching throbbing pain erupted from her spine to her tailbone. She whimpers as the shadows once more appear in her distress. "You are one of us now." Izuku looks around, fear in her eyes, "A child…do not fret my dear sweet one…we send a gift…to make you strong…our sweet child," she looks down, panting and whining in pain, to see faces morph in the inky blackness. She tries to take a step back, but the ink held tight to her feet.
A roar emerges from her through as ink emerges from her backside, forming into a long tail, green fur emerging from the spine and tip. She closes her eyes tightly panting and trembling as the pain faded away, looking at her tail, the fur bristling and stiffening in her fear. Shaking her head, she shakily wobbles out of the pool of ink.
She then screeches as another ink figure appears from the glass porthole just as Izuku was about to open the door. The grass cracked but held firm. Watching as the ink drip down the glass she sees the creature, the Searcher she guessed since it had no legs turned around and begins to smash its fist against the wall. Remembering what Alice told her, Izuku carefully opens the door, making sure it makes no sound. Eyes narrow she focuses on the Searcher, as shadows emerge from her hooves, decorating the walls. As soon as the shadows hit the Searcher it let out a painful moan before slowly dissolving.
Blinking, Izuku decided to keep heading on but groans in dismay when she finds a freaking giant hole keeping her away from the elevator, "That's one leap of fate I definitely won't make…" finding another switch and then dealing with the ink people, who she figure out were the Lost Ones that Alice was talking about when they all ganged up on her after seeing her shadows. Looking around, listening to Joey Drew's studio tour audio, trying to find a way to open the door. "This really is like a video game…a horror video game. All it needs is for some really big bad monster to be hunting me down," she chuckles a bit, looting through her bag for something to eat before she stills.
"Please tell me I did not just jinx myself,"
He pushes the train over and over, the only thing that could bide his time in this form. To ease the boredom. Beside thinking of what he would do to that Wilson once he gets his powers back and rip his claws into him.
"At least I'm here instead of Gent.." this small body couldn't help but shiver thinking of the pain "Me! In pain, the Ink Demon, ruler of this world in actual pain," when he was in the hands of the Keepers. It was the one and only time he would be grateful that his Creator gave him the chance to escape.
"Once I reset the cycle I'll make sure the Creator's deaths are painless for the next few loops," he looks up when he hears a soft gasp and the gate slowly opens. His black pie-cut eyes widen and his body trembles. But not in fear…no…he could sense his power, the power that Wilson ripped away from him, trapping him in this small form!
"Bendy?" the woman, young…about the same age as the boy who turned into Boris all those years ago whispers as she slowly walks in. Her heart shaped face was framed by a short mess of fluffy black hair, dripping with ink like many in this world but he could see bits of green "Must be new in the studio…a few loops and that color will drain away," poking through the mass of ink. Her left eye was the same color but with ink dripping down that side of her face like him in his true form while her right eye was the same as the Lost Ones. He could see his horns poking from her hair but having a tint of green to them. Ink covered her legs, staring at her knees and going all the way down to her feet forming into hooves, his hooves. A tail swished behind her, flecks of green scales mixing well with the ink black along with the green fluff growing from the tip upward to the spine of her tail.
He instinctively grabs his train as she knees down in front of him, taking a step back. Staring at her. A part of him couldn't believe it, the Machine gave someone his powers! It has never done that before…why? After all these years, all the Boris, the two Alice…why now did it create another Bendy…was it because he was weak? "You're…you're real," she whispers as a smile of amazement grows on her face. He frowns, wishing he could grow in this form, but he stops when she has a look of panic on her face, "It's ok…I'm not going to hurt you!"
He wanted to snort at that, everyone who has ever seen him has wanted to hurt him. Ever since he was created. All because he couldn't look like that damn… he blinks when she holds out her hand to him. Staring at it, he puts on his signature smile, taking hold.
He smiles even more when he feels it, the Dark Puddles, his powers slip into him. It wasn't enough as the girl pulled back holding her claw hand (which was also his) "Ow…static shock," she whispers. But the Ink Demon didn't care, for he felt whatever little hold that Wilson had on him, that forced him to stay in this form dissolve. It wasn't enough to give him back his whole strength…no the girl still had the half Wilson threw back in the Dark Puddles…but he now had the ability to return to his true form. His true self. He could feel it, the urge to transform but he held it.
"Wait Bendy!" the girl cries out as he turns on his heels and runs, not noticing the ink dripping as it covers his face. He could feel the Dark Puddles, could feel it coursing through him once more…whispering to him. In the shadows as he feels his body grow, he watches as the girl walks by him.
Izuku was still feeling guilty as she went looking for the pictures that the Lost One wanted so she could get into another area. She didn't mean to make Bendy afraid and it hurt that she did. She hope that the little guy was alright since it seems that lots of people down here don't like him. With a sighs she breaks the chain that was on the gate but as soon as it was open, the lights over head turn off…one by one, the door in front of her slamming closed.
"The Dark Puddles awaken," Izuku stills as the voice echoes. Was it out loud…or was it in her head? She could hear the sound of a heartbeat, ink beginning to drip from the walls. Izuku slowly shivers, turning into a circle to find out where it was coming from when the door reopened at the end of the guttural growl.
Pipe gripping tightly in her non clawed hand, Izuku slowly walked through the door, her hooves clopping against the floor with each step. With another swing she breaks another lock, opening the gate but freezing when she sees a shadow walked by in the light, "A voice, a soul. The Ink speaks to me," the rumbling gets louder, Izuku dryly gulping as she heads in deeper, going underneath a metal beam. She wanted to go back, to run but as soon as she went through the door had slammed shut and locked.
"It whispers your secrets. It whispers your purpose here," Izuku shivers, feeling her heartbeat deeply in her chest as she crawls into a vent. When she got deeper in, it shook, "My Little Gift. Tell me your sweet name, that I may devour it~" Izuku felt the air leaving her very chest, the very air feeling suffocating. Her hand went to the wall as the building shook again, almost falling off the stairs, cardboard boxes dropping to the ground.
Izuku felt her breath hitch as she ran down the hall, stopping at a large door that was sealed shut. Whining in fear, she grabs the lever, looking back at the hall she just came down from before turning her gaze to the lever to push it down. To her horror it let out a loud creaked but hardly move, "Oh all the things to be rusted at the moment,"
She stills, hearing heavily breath before a growl echoes down the metal hall. Looking back, her green and golden eyes widen seeing a shadowy figure at the end of the hall, the two visible horns her only warning. She turned back to the lever grabbing it with both hands and tried to push it down but still it wouldn't budge. The growls getting closer made her turn and see the large figure with ink covering where eyes should be, a mouth full of teeth that were slightly open, his clawed hand reaching towards her.
With a growl of her open she pushed the lever with all her might, a sharpened fang smile grew when it finally went down. Without hesitation she ran through the now open door, spinning on her heel to grab the edge of the door. Screaming as the being reached out to grab her, his mouth slightly opened a growl rumbling from his chest, Izuku slammed the door shut.
The demon lets out a roar of pain as the door slammed on his arm, before he pulls it back. Izuku watches as his gloved claw hand left an ink splatter on the wall before she slams the door shut with a loud bag. She pants, chest heaving, hands pressed against the door as she closes her eyes.
A low sounding growl rumbles behind the door, making Izuku open her eyes wide. Trembling, she takes a few steps back as bangs echo on the door, ink shadows emerging from underneath.
Wrapping her arms around her, Izuku takes more steps back, "oh…I…I really jinxed myself.." she whispers, shivering as she realizes who she just saw and why Alice warned her to stay away. What all the notes about him, warned her…
The Ink Demon was here…and was hunting her.
Here comes the boy! I knew I had to write some things in his Pov. In my mind Bendy and Ink Demon are the same person, they don't have different personalities. Especially since Bendy did ran off when the Ink Demon turned back into Benders in front of Audrey.
Also one of my theories from the game. All those powers that Audrey had...really reminded me of Bendy's abilities in the first game. Banish being the shadows formed, able to travel into the ink, to just suddenly appeared. My theory is that either Joey used the Ink Demon to create Audrey, or Wilson when he cut Bendy in half, put the other half back in the ink and Audrey gain those powers because the ink Machine made her into a Bendy. In this, if you haven't gotten the hints from Allison and Bendy, i'm going with the second one for Izuku. The Machine gave her the half of the Ink Demon's power that Wilson put in the dark puddles.
Anyway that's all for now, I don't want to give everything away in this. Hope you all enjoy and remember this is a work of fanfiction if you have someone acting like Bendy is or an actual demon after you, please get some help. I do not approve of this relationship in real life! (sorry just have to make sure people actually know this. You all don't know how many comments I got for my Ghidorah x Godzilla pairing in my Godzilla-bnha fic that I had to delete)
