Beginning of chapter note: I know the last chapter was rushed and I apologize for that. And I apologize for this chapter getting released late, I have hanging out with my family that I don't see often. And on top of that, I have a winter class which is pretty much taking up all of my time. Well, I did say that the chapters would be sporadic. Also shoutout to my friend for helping me a lot with this chapter. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.
Gregory started to wander around the room, he spotted a "staff bot" cleaning the floor with a mop. The robot seemed to be stuck, like a scratched record. It just kept moping the same spot over and over, strange. It had been moping since before Gregory's trash nap. Was it still the same day? No, it couldn't be. It seemed to be moving slower than the other animatronics but in a weird way. As if it was lagging, he didn't know how to explain it. It seemed docile. He tried to get closer but once he got a little bit closer it started pointing at Gregory and setting off an alarm. Gregory immediately backed away, but when he turned around Chica was there.
"What the hell!" Gregory screeched. She was just downstairs, it's like she teleported. Gregory had no time to think about that, he had to hide. Gregory searched to find a hiding spot, but there was none. Gregory became winded and slowed down, giving Chica time to catch him. He shook him like she did the last time and all he could see was static. Gregory woke by his last save station. He hopes that he doesn't do this dying thing often. Across from the exit, there are multiple small metal gates. Gregory thought he can squeeze through the bottom of the gate.
"These gates require a Complementary Pizza Plex entry pass. There should be one near the entrance. " Freddy said through the watch.
"You could have fricken said that when I was silent for hours," Gregory muttered under his breath. He looked around and found another one of those dang present boxes in front of a cardboard cutout of the entire gang.
"Do they just have these present boxes everywhere for children to take? If so, I doubt they would be nicely put here." Gregory unwinded the box and got the pass. The lid disappeared and the floor is now at the bottom of the present box. Gregory sighed in frustration, he has to deal with this for 6 hours and he can't just sleep through it. He brought it to the gate and then the metal gate opened. He immediately saw that Chica was up ahead, but she didn't seem to notice him yet. Gregory was confused.
"Aren't people supposed to pay for these passes? This one was just lying here."
"Well done Gregory. Unluckily for you, that ticket doesn't allow you to enter the pizzeria. You can find an upgrade machine in customer service." Freddy said through his watch. What kind of pizzeria sells a pass to the lobby and nothing else? They really are trying to squeeze every cent out of people's pockets. At this point, Gregory realized that there is a notification on his watch. The notification was called "No re-entry", and underneath it said to upgrade to pass.
"But Freddy literally just said that, why would my watch say that immediately? Does Freddy think I'll forget what I need to do?" Gregory said to himself. There is a large Freddy statue in front of him. There is a staff bot going back and forth in front of the statue. There is a red bag on the foot of the statue. Gregory went toward the bag to grab it and bring it to a safe spot, just to realize that he was unable to move it. He just opens it up quickly and the bag completely disappears. Gregory was baffled about it disappearing, but then he realized there is now a message on his fazwatch. He looked at the notification which was something about magnets making the ticket machine glitch out.
Gregory decided to go up the stairs since the side fenced-in doors were locked. Once he got up the stairs there was an elevator ahead, which didn't work. He ended up going to a gift shop that is two stories high. There were a few staff bots throughout the gift shop but Gregory was able to bypass them. He found another one of those darn present boxes laid out.
"Not another one of these stupid fricken present boxes," Gregory muttered angrily. He started unwinding the box.
"Oww," The lid of the present box hit Gregory right in the face. He bent over holding his nose with his eyes watering. He stayed like that for a couple of seconds, furious at the situation he was in. Gregory finally looked at what he got.
"A hippo magnet?" Gregory muttered.
"I am truly sorry," Freddy said through the faz-watch. Gregory kept on looking around, opening the first-floor gate. He went up the stairs and went in the other direction of the giftshop which looked like some restaurant.
"Must be for the parents who can't be bothered to deal with their kids all day," Gregory muttered. He ends up finding another one of those bags. He opens it up to find another message on his fazwatch. It was something about scraping being in the vents. Gregory puts that information in the back of his head. In the back of the restaurant, there is a staircase that leads to a locked office and a door to the customer service desk. Gregory got his ticket and put it in the machine, waiting for the upgraded ticket. A few seconds later he realized its not gonna upgrade.
"Dang it, it ate up my ticket." Gregory expressed disappointingly.
"Try that terrible magnet you found." Freddy verbalized.
"How the hell do you know I have a magnet." Gregory frustratingly said to himself. He got out the magnet and placed it on the machine. There were some error sounds coming from the machine and another ticket came out.
"Yes! The magnet scrambled the machine. Huh, it is now a Daycare pass. " Gregory questioned.
"That is good news! I will meet you in the Daycare. The entrance is on the second-floor balcony." Freddy excitingly said. Gregory sneaked his way through some of the staff bots and Chica, who has been walking into a wall since he got the magnet. Before he got to the stairs a staff bot came out of nowhere and grabbed Gregory and scared the bejesus out of him. The staff bot let go of him and set off an alarm. He turned around and saw Chica was ready to lung at him even though she was walking into the wall in the other direction.
"No time to think about bullshit, time to run." Gregory squeaked and started running up the stairs, with Chicas close behind.
"Greeeeegorryyyyyy" Chica trilled.
"How does she know my name?!" Gregory screamed. The only person Gregory told his name to was Freddy, how did Chica know? Did Freddy tell her? He ran as fast as he could and turned in the direction of the Daycare. He opened the doors and came across a long hallway with barely any hiding spots, the only thing he could see is a door to his right. He made it there as quickly as possible and hit there. He heard Chica open the doors to the hallway, which she takes a few steps in and then a few steps in the opposite direction and left the hallway.
"Thank god the chicken actually has a bird brain," Gregory smirked to himself. He exited the room and continued down the hallway. He came across an opening that had palm trees in the middle. The open room had brick walls that had a painted blur on them. Gregory couldn't quite make it out. Then all of a sudden it became clear. It said: Superstar Daycare Pick-up this way. Why had it gone from blurry to clear? Gregory hadn't moved any closer, and yet it became clear. Was there something wrong with Gregory's eyes? He decided to ignore it and continue onwards. For some reason, there is also a charging station in the room.
"Are the batteries just really poor with the animatronics?" Gregory continued, finding a save station next to a metal door. He saved and prepared himself for what weird stuff is going to be in the Daycare.
End of chapter notes:
Ya, I know this chapter is a bit short but I just wanted to get something out.
Glitches/stupid stuff in this chapter:
.Staff bots at a different frame rate/Staff bots detecting you even though it is BS (Suggested by LinxieDaFox)
.Freddy tells Gregory what to do even though he shouldn't know what Gregory is trying to do/ Freddy spoon feeding you information to do stuff when you can look at messages.
.The Fazwatch missions in general
.This is just for every chapter, but the story and how things work are really stupid
.Things loading a deloading right in front of your eyes.
