Chapter 4:Moondrop-kick me into the ground, the daycare attendant is broken!

Upload date: Jan-28 -2023

Beginning of chapter notes: Looking at my list of stupid stuff and glitches, I can tell both me and my friend is really disappointed at the whole entire daycare section. There was so much potential and it was so crappy. Also, this is embarrassing but I just realize that my autocorrect was turned off, so there are a lot of spelling mistakes in the previous chapters. Anyway hope you enjoy this chapter.

The large metal door opened up for Gregory, which opened up a huge room that doesn't look like any other part of the pizzeria. The colors were so pastel and nice compared to the neon rock aesthetic of the rest of the pizzeria. There is a gold statue of what Gregory assumes is the Daycare attendant.

"Gregory, I am unable to reach you. Check the daycare security desk for the security badge, then let me in," Freddy said disappointedly. Gregory checked his watch and saw the time was 12:30.

"Huh time just went by really fast," Gregory remarked. He looked around the room and it seems like there is only one entrance to the daycare down a rainbow-colored slide. There was cheerful music coming from the slide. He had a feeling that more weird shit was going to happen when he gets down to the daycare. He mentally prepared himself and headed down the slide. After a few seconds, Gregory crash-landed into the ball pit and his momentum stopped almost instantly. He took a few steps and came across an opening. Before He is able to take another step closer, his head is forced to look at the balcony to see a yellow animatronic. "That's animatronic from the golden statues…" Gregory noticed.

"Hooo Hooo Hooo," Then it dived into the ball pit with an impressive splash, right in front of Gregory. At this point, Gregory is thinking of three things. One, there is another animatronic that may try and kill Gregory. Two, if that animatronic can comfortably dive into the ball pit, Gregory could easily drown in it. Finally three, that animatronic is somewhere in the same ball pit Gregory is in. He first tried to exit the ball pit from the side walls, but he wasn't able to catch on to the edge of it. The only direction he was able to go, is forward. In the same direction as the animatronic. He continued onward, suddenly something pops out of the ball pit and grabs Gregory, and starts to take him out of the ball pit

"Helloooo! New Friend! You sure are up late! Are we having a slumber party? Where are all of your friends?" The animatronic said in a quick, hyper tone. Gregory was glad that this animatronic was not immediately killing him, but he might as well kill Gregory since the animatronics energy is way too much for him. Unlike the other animatronics, this one's eyes were pure white. It had no pupils and it was really freaking Gregory out. The animatronic put him down and kept talking.

"We can finger paint, tell stories, drink Fizzy Faz until our heads ex-PLODE, and stay up all night," The animatronic waved back and forth. Gregory remembers that the name for this animatronic is Sun at this point.

"There is only one rule: keep the lights on. ON. on.." Sun said menacingly while still moving side to side. It is actually making Gregory dizzy. While Gregory can't really keep up with Suns energy, this was definitely a better deal than listening to Freddy. At this point, Gregory notices a notification on his watch. He opens it up and it reads "Slide into fun- make a distraction". Why would his Fazwatch even give him a notification like this? Especially when it seems like Gregory finally found a safe haven. Is Freddy giving him these notifications?

Gregory started to look around his surroundings. Or tried to at least. Everywhere Gregory would look, Sun would just block his vision. Past sun he can see that there is a playground you would sometimes see at the occasional fast food restaurant that has enough money. This went on for a few more seconds until Gregory realizes that Sun is broken like the rest of the god-accursed Pizza Plex. He decided to make a run for it, though he didn't get very far before Sun grabbed him. He was unable to get out of Suns grip and was forced to look at his permanently smiling face. Gregory was placed in the same spot as he was placed when Sun got him out of the ball pit.

"Okay change of plans, I have to do what the watch tells me to do, " Gregory muttered. Luckily or coincidentally for him, there is a stack of containers? Tubes? Building blocks? Whatever it is, Gregory knocked it over and started running.

"No, no, no, no! What a mess! Oh, which was the bottom? Where is the top? Clean up! clean up! "Sun cried. While he was fixing up whatever it was, Gregory able to see the desk. He doesn't know why there is a security desk right in the play area. It looks ugly and simply stands out. But for Gregory's convenience, it is suitable for him. He saw a save station behind the desk. He decides to save right now.

"New friend, this- this area is off limits. Your gonna get us in trouble," Sun said whimpering. Does Sun even see Gregory saving his place? Does anyone see these save stations? On the desk, there is a light shining on little Freddy head. He opens it and found a security badge on it. Once he took the badge, Gregory ran towards the door to let Freddy into the daycare.

"This is the perfect place to hide 'til 6 a.m!" Gregory thought to himself as he ran. But before Gregory could reach the door, he was stopped by an invisible wall that prevented him from leaving the security station. Gregory pushed on the invisible barrier but it didn't budge, he was stuck. Before Gregory could fully feel the weight of his situation, the lights turned out. Gregory's head was forced to look at the side of the desk, towards Sun.

"No- no! Why would you do that? Lights on! Lights on! I warned you- I WARNED YOU!" Sun screeched. He starts to contour very violently and flop over the desk. It wasn't a second later until Gregory heard a menacing voice.

"Naughty boy. Naughty boy," white and blue hands creep on the desk ledge along with red glowing eyes.

"It's past your bedtime. You must be punished," It growled. Gregory remembers the name of the animatronic being Moon. Moon jumps on the desk and dances.

"Nighty nighty," Gregory held his breath and waited again when suddenly Moon launches himself up in the air and disappeared. His head is now not being controlled anymore and moves back to where it was looking before.

"Why didn't he attack me?" Gregory wondered.

"Gregory, I do not know what you did, but the lights are out in the Daycare! You need to find the emergency backup generators and turn them on. They are in the play structure, " Freddy said through the Fazwatch. Why the hell are the generators in the play structures that kids play in? Why is Gregory thinking like this? He doesn't give a crap about some bitchy kid getting electrocuted, he has other shit to worry about. Gregory looked back at the save station to see that there is an error sign. Thankfully he saved because he doesn't want to deal with Sun's explosive introduction again.

To the right of the desk, there is a square Freddy head that has something in it. Gregory looked closer and realized it is a flashlight. He took the flashlight and felt its weight to see if he could wack someone with it and do some damage. He turned on the light and realized how dark it was in the Daycare. He heard some bells and jingling in the darkness. It must be Moon. Gregory took deep breaths and ventured into the darkness. He could see a red light in the play structures, it must be a generator. He climbed his way into the tangled web of jungle gyms. A thick wire weaved through the plastic play structures and he followed it. He soon came across a generator with a switch, he turned it on. The light of the generator turned green and the fazwatch gave him a notification that he needs to turn off 4 more generators. He could still hear Moons jingling, but he is unable to see him. Gregory saw a slide and crawled down it.

"Where is he?" Gregory thought to himself, "Maybe he's just as harmless as Sun". While Gregory walked, he bumped into the stupid tubes and made a very loud sound.

"Shit, shit, shit!" Gregory panicked and started to run away from the area. He looked behind to see Moon at the scene of the crime. Perhaps he isn't so friendly.

"Argggg clean up, clean up," Moon grumbled while cleaning up the tubes. This interaction gives Gregory an idea. So Moon has to clean up the messes like Sun, can Gregory exploit this to his advantage? Gregory quickly scoured the ground of the Daycare for more of those stupid tubes to knock over. He found one and gave it a shove, it made a strange horn noise. Strange toys to have in a daycare.

"Argggg clean up, clean up," Moon grumbled from a distance. Gregory found yet another set of tubes and knocked it over. At this point, Gregory heard Moons jingling behind him which made him worry that his stupid idea didn't work. When he turned around he saw Moon trying to walk through the tiny chairs and tables to get the other tubes that Gregory knocked over. Moon didn't get too far before he was unable to move any further but still continued walking as if he was actually getting anywhere. Almost as if he was moonwalking. Gregory was completely baffled. After meeting Sun, he thought he would have trouble dealing with him. When seeing Moon, Gregory thought that he would actually be a pain in the ass. But nope, Moon is just as broken as the other animatronics. At some point, Moon started jumping and dancing if someone was in front of him. Gregory stood there for a while, observing the one singular brain cell of Moon working in all of its glory. At some point, Gregory had to leave and turn on the rest of the generators, he can't watch a broken animatronic all night. The rest of them were able to be found with relative ease. Soon Gregory had found the last generator, and he breathed a sigh of relief. The lights turned on, and another notification appeared on his fazwatch that says 'Meet Freddy outside the Daycare.' Gregory went to the security desk right away and found that the save station was back on, so he saved his spot right away. At this point, he also saw that his flashlight battery was very low.

"Jesus, how the hell is the battery so low? It was full just like 10 minutes ago," Gregory muttered. He realizes that the Freddy head he got the flashlight from recharges the flashlight. If the battery was so crappy, it would make sense why chargers were everywhere. After that Gregory was ready to open the door to see Freddy then something grabbed him aggressively.

"Rule-breaker! Rule-breaker! You are banned from the Daycare," Sun aggressively said while tossing Gregory out.

"Security Alert! Security Alert! Woooo! Woooo!" Sun alerted while slamming the door. Gregory looked side to side and saw that Chica and Roxy block his only escape.

End of chapter note: Classes have started but I am still feeling good. I have good motivation but my writing skills are so slow. I am wanting to finish this chapter before the DLC comes out, and that is still my goal. I might put this story on AO3, but I'm unfamiliar with how to publish it on the sight, I only read stories from there.

Glitches/stupid stuff in this chapter:

.Moon and Suns AI is a hell of a mess

.The fact that there's a security desk in a daycare center for whatever reason(Recommended by my friend)

.Why did the power go off when Gregory took the badge?

.Why is Moon the only one attacking you instead of both Sun and Moon?

.(This applies to all chapters but we never know why Freddy and Sun aren't affected by the virus?)

.Why are there generators in the daycare?

.Why did Gregory have to find Freddy? Does Freddy even have a plan for Gregory? Why couldn't Gregory just stay with Sundrop and not piss him off?
