Ok I thought for sure we would get to Henry in this chapter but world building for this magic version of bnha and then more bonding and growth for the Ink Demon got in the way..but I promise that Henry will show up in the next chapter, we will be getting our dad HEnry...Bendy just wanted some moments and push the scene to the side lol
Anyway hope you all enjoy! Please leave a comment I absolutely love them...and warning hints to the torture Wilson and the Keepers did to the Ink Demon...nothing major but there are mentions of it.
Izuku's eyes were wide as they stared at the sight before them. The city laid out in front of them, light shining down from the moon above. "How is there a moon here? Aren't we still in the studio?"
"We are…" Buddy replies, "But I think of it as cartoon logic," he shrugs before he walks down the street, Izuku with Bendy in her arms following. They walked past a grocery store and what looked like apartments. Izuku giggles when Bendy points at a sign of him.
Izuku then stares as Buddy knocks on a door five times, before shouting is heard. She blinked as the door was slammed open and another Boris stood before them. This one with a scar going across his face, missing a part of his ear…and his left arm being replaced with a metal one.
He huffs and shakes his head at Buddy but stills when he spots Izuku and Bendy. Izuku blinks when she feels Bendy tense in her arms before the Boris growls. Her eyes widened and she began to take a step back before Buddy stood in front of her, "Settle down Tom. Alice told me to bring Izuku here,"
Still growling, Tom glares at Izuku, "And what about that…thing in her arms?" Izuku glares at him, feeling Bendy flinch and she holds him closer.
"He is not a thing! He is Bendy you jerk!"
"Tom," Buddy warns with a tense tone, "I'm confused about Bendy as well but we got more things to worry about," Buddy turns to Izuku and Bendy giving them a sorrow glance, "Sorry…Tom helped create the Ink Machine long ago…he was there when the Ink Demon was born…so you have to forgive him for being a bit tense around a Bendy,"
Izuku frowns but nods her head, keeping a good hold on Bendy as Buddy gently pushes Tom out of the way, gesturing to her to follow. Ignoring how Tom huffs she slowly walks in, blinking at the posters that hang on the walls. She blinks at the golden arrow pointing back to the door, the words "Don't turn on the machine" written in the same golden ink from the pods slightly glows. Turning around her eyes widened at the dashes that were now written on the posters...as if someone was marking something. Shaking her head, Izuku finds herself standing in a foyer. A large sign that announced this place as Joey Drew Studio hung to the right. Many Lost Ones were walking around, some were just standing there, hunch and crying. One was even banging their head against the wall.
She stops, turning her head to the right to see a hallway. Hearing ink running…and whispers. Bendy looks up at her as follows the sound. Passing a wall that had "Not all dreams come true," Walking over a pipe, her eyes widen at the boarded up passageway, ink dripping from the cracks. The whispers were louder here but still unrecognizable…but from within, a loud heartbeat was head. Izuku gently place Bendy down and walked over to it. She presses a hand against the ink, feeling a warmth enter her body. At first it felt like the Ink Demon…a suffocating aura that wanted her...a sort of possessing her...but flickers of care and something more showed. Like every time she felt those fleeting feelings washed away with the feeling of anger and hatred…and fear. "Is…the Ink Demon afraid? But why? Isn't this world his….is it because of Wilson?" She shakes her head…no it wasn't because of Wilson…she shuffles backwards, her hoof hitting something and looking down Izuku saw that it was another audio log.
Bending down she carefully picks it up and presses the play button.
"Listen Tommy, I know you boys over at Gent are doing your best, but I'm paying for living attractions not weird abominations! Whatever that grinning thing was I saw wandering around your office, you better keep it locked up tight!
I realize it was a first attempt but imagine if the press caught sight of it! Might scare off investors! And in response to your previous memo:
If you claim your failures are because these things are soulless, then, damn it, we'll get them a soul! After all, I own thousands of 'em!"
Izuku stares with wide eyes, dropping the audio log. Her eyes wide in disbelief as she stared at the mass of ink leaking and the beating of a heart. "Is that why…you're afraid that I would think of you as a monster?" Izuku slowly sits up, not noticing Bendy staring at her but his pie-cut eyes widen, his tail shooting straight up as she gently places her hand against the ink once more.
"Y-your touching it," Izuku jumps looking over to see a Lost One staring at her. They were definitely female, as the ones who were female had long hair and the males were. What stood out though was the shard of a Bendy mask on her face, covering her right eye. She wore a sepia colored skirt that went down to her ankles, a brown ink stained apron wrapped tightly around her. Her one eye that was visible stares at her with burning awe, "You…you been blessed! Only someone who has been blessed could ever touch our Lord's heart without becoming one with the Dark Puddles!"
"Uh…" Izuku takes a step back, her eyes widen in fear. Unseen by her was Bendy slapping his face as the Lost One began to bend down at the knee and began to praise her, calling her, My Lady. Bendy sighs, shoulders slumping, looking at Izuku with sympathy.
"Izuku!?" Leaning to her side, Izuku sighs when she sees Buddy, looking frantic as he sees that she was standing before the boarded up frame but groans when he sees the Lost One, "Rukia! Leave Izuku alone!"
"How dare you!" the now known Rukia screeches, looking like she wanted to attack the Boris, "This is the Blessed One! Chosen by our Lord! She will send that parasite Wilson," she screeches more when Buddy pushes her face with one hand, grabbing Izuku's wrist by the other and begins leading Izuku away from the Ink Demon's heart and Rukia. Bendy quickly follow and leaps onto her back, climbing up a bit and wrapping his arms around her neck to keep from falling.
"Don't worry about Rukia," Buddy says, giving her a kind smile, "She as crazy as Sammy on a good day…at least she doesn't sacrifice people," Izuku blinks at that wit wide eyes but her attention was pulled away when she saw Alice standing near a large table with Tom beside her. A screeched echoes in the room and Izuku had to blink her eyes as a bright light shined in her face. Blinking the spots out of her eyes she stares at the tall humanoid creature completely covered in ink with a projector as a head. Several long hanging black wores are attached to the back and under his head with the longest wire attaching to his right ankle. A speaker was sticking out from the middle of his chest.
"Easy Norman," Alice said, gently placing a hand on his arm, "She's a friend,"
"Alice!" Izuku calls out, making her look over to her, and smiles but then her eyes widen as she notices Bendy, her hand going to her sword. Izuku quickly puts her hands up, "Woah its ok…he's a friend," she gently rubs Bendy between his horns to calm him down. The demon purring as his small tail wags behind him.
"Sorry Izuku," Alice replies, putting her hand down, "Seeing another Bendy…one that is almost perfectly formed," she gestures to the little ink dripping on Bendy's head, "It's…kinda scary. Especially since you said you've been seeing the Ink Demon around and he wants you as his…bride?" She raises an eyebrow while Izuku's shoulders slump.
"I know…and I really don't get it," she runs her claw hand through her hair, "I don't know what he sees in me? I mean I'm Coreless, there's nothing…" she flinches at what she just admitted. Tensing up and waiting for the sounds of disgust. Instead, Alice blinks at her in confusion while Tom, who had been staring at her angry and suspicious, looks at her with pity. A different pity than what some people look at her when she mentions she had no magic. No, he seemed upset, as if he knew how she was treated for her lack of magic.
Alice slowly walks over to her and gently grabs her wrist. Izuku was confused when she positioned it with the palm facing the ceiling. "Izuku… I want you to say Lumos," Izuku blinks at her in confusion, why did she wanted her to say the light up spell? It was the easiest spell to make, one that preschools taught children once they get their Signature Magic.
"Alice…I'm Coreless," Izuku states, "Me saying Lumos is going to do…." a bright light flashed in her palm, forcing her to blink rapidly. Bendy whistles in excitement as Izuku stares at the small green ball of light, floating in the middle of her palm, "nothing," she wheezes, her fur beginning to poof up, "H-how…." she trembles, her arms shaking, her heartbeat quickens, "No, I'm Coreless…I don't have a Core! Why am I using magic!?"
"Its because of the Ink," Tom said as Alice gently grabs her wrists, "The Ink has all the magic from every soul it has collected. Anyone who becomes a part of it, Coreless or not, gain access to that magic. Its one of the reasons why so many go crazy, it's because their own Cores can't handle the strain,"
Izuku takes steady breaths, feeling Bendy nuzzle her and whistling at her curiously. "Wait…is this…are you telling me that the Lost Ones are Majuten?!"
Tom looked surprised at her, scratching at his head, "Surprise that you know what Majuten is…"
"Of course I know," Izuku frowns as Alice gently lets her go, "Majuten, or better known as Magic Overfilled is a condition when a person tries to use too much magic at once. While we can use any magic, unless it's someone's Signature Magic, too much is a strain on the core and it begins to build up the magic in them. Usually good rest and food can handle it, but it is worse for those who are extremely powerful in magic and even more worse when they allow their negative emotions to take over," she sighs shaking her head, "Honestly most of the villains that Heroes take down these days are those who have fallen in Majuten. Apprentices are trained to take them down without serious harm," she thought of the Majuten that Mt. Lady fought during her debut, "And even," she shivers a bit, "Put down those who are just too far,"
She remembers watching the fight between All Might and Toxic Chainsaw. The Hero Commission tries their best to not let it out when Majuten gets too far that they can't be helped. But Toxic Chainsaw was an important fight for All Might, after months of being missing, the Commission wanted everyone to know that Ultras' number one Hero was back…and Toxic Chainsaw had changed on screen.
"Yes the Lost ones that you fight are in the second stages of Majuten, we usually take them down and put them back into the Dark Puddles before they can get to the third stage," Alice states but she sights, "Unfortunately ever since Wilson came here it's been harder to do so, he rallies them and anyone who gets close to the third stage he takes them and they're never seen again,"
Izuku bites at her lips worried about that. But then she jumps squeaking when Porter appears suddenly in front of her. Alice sighs, shaking her head but Porter, who catches sight of Izuku, pulls her into a hug, "Bobby! It's so good to see you again!"
"My name's Izuku," she mutters as Bendy hisses at Porter.
"Nope! Still look like a Bobby!" he pulls back and spins on his heel, turning to Alice, "And lookie at what I found!" He holds up what looks like an ID card. Alice's eyes widen as she gently takes it from him, looking at it closely before she smiles.
"Its a Gent ID card. We can go save Henry!" Izuku blinks at this and Alice turned to her, "Henry...I guess Buddy told you about him?" Izuku nods her head, "He got captured by the Keepers when he went to save the Ink Demon," Tom huffs in annoyance and Alice gives him a look, "Unfortunately when he did so he got captured...and we lost our ID card for the Gent building. The only way in is with these things," she wiggles it in her hand, "And we tried looking for ways to get in, if you try going through the vents, the Keepers will grabbed you and…" she shakes her head, "Hedi can get in but she has no way to get Henry out. But with this…we can go get him…"
"If we can get Henry," Buddy whispers, "He may be able to talk sense to the Ink Demon," he rolls his pie-cut eyes at the glare Tom gave him, "Oh stop it old man! I understand you hating the Ink Demon, heck I have more right he bit me in half! But Henry still cares for him…and ever since the spell that was on the Cycle been wearing down he hasn't been hunting Henry down," he rubs the back of his neck, "Or at least as much as he is use to,"
Izuku blinks looking down at Bendy who was glaring at Tom. He blinks when he realizes that she was looking at him before he shrugs his shoulders. Sighing she rubs his head looking at Alice, "Can I help?" Alice opens her mouth, "Listen Wilson is the reason why I'm here and he's the one who created the Keepers right?" she turns to Buddy who nods his head, "Wilson might be there and he's got a lot to answer for this," she gestures to her body, "and anyway its not like its any different with you leaving me alone when we first met,"
Alice grimaces, "When you put it that way…alright but you listen to every word I say alright," Izuku nods her head, "We'll be going in the morning. The Keepers are more active at night," she waves her arm to a woman with a strapless beige top with a black dress. She was wearing a wooden mask that resembles a puppet or doll with empty sockets, black lipstick and a wavy wooden bob cut, "Betty here will show you a room that you and your," she looks at Bendy who steps closer to Izuku, "friend can sleep in,"
"Thanks Alice," Izuku said as she gently picks up Bendy, before following Betty.
He listens for any sound, for the crack of the floors creeping. It did for a while, probably that old Gent wolf or even the damn projector head making sure he didn't do any funny stuff. "Of course, the old wolf would be smart enough to not trust him," he thought as he wiggled out of Izuku's hold.
He jumps off the bed looking around the room that Betty had shown them in. His trademark smile turns into a frown, something he knew that the Liar would had hated. HE looked down at his arms, which begin to tremble.
"They were going to the Gent building. They were going to save the Creator,' he would be happy about that. Even if some part of him, from the curse of the Cycle urge him to stab Henry with his claws, to stomp his hoofs into his face…he was happy that the Creator was going to be save. But he wasn' happy was that they were bringing Izuku there!
He closes his eyes, remembering the operation table he was strapped to. The lights of color zapping into his very being, the pain ot brought him as it force him into this form! He shakes his head, pulling himself from these thoughts as he shifted into his true form. Slowly turning towards Izuku…his darling. She was sleeping, tail curled up around her. No…he wouldn't allow her to go to that place…he wouldn't let her fall into the hands of the Keepers and Wilson. No…he wouldn't…no he can't..he shivers, feeling his tail lash out from behind him. No he can't allow that. He would have liked it if she had come to him willingly but he wouldn't allow her to be tortured by the parasite. He was going to take her to his lair, the only place that the parasite and his Keepers could never reach…keep her there. When the others save the Creator he'll grab him too…he'll keep them safe..
His hand went to his cheek where Izuku had gently touched him. The first warm and kind touch he was ever given since his birth. He thought of the first time Henry saw him…in the first loop…and instead of fear and disgust he saw awe and shock…but never fear...never disgust…never hatred…not even when he killed them so many times. No he'll keep the two safe, and when his Queen, his Darling…when his little Gift was at full strength…he and her with the Creator will do away with the parasite
A whimper pulls him from his thoughts. His gaze turns towards Izuku as she whimpers, curling up in a ball. "Kaachan…pl-please…no I'm sorry.."
Concern filled his being...why was she so scared…even when faced with him...she never showed fear. Who was this Kaachan that made his darling smell tainted with fear? Made his Queen so scared?! Anger well up in his chest as he gently cradles her head with his hand, softly rubbing her soft green and black curls.
He felt a pulling sensation, from his other half of his power that now resides in his Gift. Shaking his head he turns around when he finds himself in a world of color. A classroom he thinks, as many children around his Darling's age. An older man stood at the front behind a large desk, began to speak to them.
"So as third year students, its time to start thinking seriously about your futures and what you want to do with your lives. I could," he begins to smirk, eyes glinting, "pass out some career aptitude tests but," he snatches the packet of papers from his desk, "why bother?!"
He spins on his heel, throwing the packet of papers into the air as the children go wild. Some sprouting flames from their hair, rocks forming on their hands on another. Wind and smoke..and oddly enough someone's eyes shooted out of their sockets, "I know you all want to join a Guild and go on to become Heroes!"
The Ink Demon ignores the cheers, his gaze spotting his Darling, human and in his anger meek. The bright green eyes were dull, no longer shining in the blazing determination he had loved. She was shyly raising her hand, biting at her lips as her eyes flicker to make sure no one was looking.
"Hey, teach!" Everyone's gaze was turned towards a boy with spiky blonde hair, shaped like it had exploded. He was leaning back in his chair, his feet on his desk, "Don't lumo me in with this buncha losers. I'm the real deal, but these guy'll be lucky to end up as apprentices into whatever D-Lister Guild they sign up for," he chuckles even as the other students started yelling angrily at him.
"Huh, you got impressive test results. Maybe you will get into the U.A Guild," the teacher praises making the other students stare at him in shock. The boy, Bakugou begin to smile as the other children begin to say how hard it was to get an apprenticeship at that guild.
The boy then jumps up onto his desk, smiling wide. The Ink Demon couldn't help but growl and hiss. The way the boy was smiling, the way he was acting in front of the others..it remind him so much of Drew…of the liar. "That's why its exactly the only place worthy of me! I ace all the mock tests. I'm the only one in this school who stands a chance at getting in. I'll end up more popular than All Might himself and be the richest Hero of all time! People all across Ultras…no the world will know who I am!"
"Ah yes…Midoriya…aren't you planning on joining U.A Guild as a Hero apprentice?" silence fills the room and the Ink Demon snarls. Wanting to rip out the teacher's throat as he smirks at his Queen. The girl was frozen, eyes wide in fear before she screams as Bakugou slams his hand on her desk, an explosion burning the wood.
The other children began to laugh, mocking her, telling her that there was no way she was getting into a Guild without a Quirk. Izuku shakily stands up, "Well actually they got rid of that rule! And…and if you forgotten U.A Guild has other apprentices..I could be going for a Support Apprenticeship…or even a Business Apprenticeship.." she stills freezing when Bakugou glares at her in hatred…and disgust.
"Listen up Deku. You're worse than these damn rejects, you Coreless wannabe. You really think they'll let someone like you join when they can have me?"
His Darling took a step back, her body trembling, "Huh? No, wait! You've got it all wrong! Really!" she flinches when her back hits the wall. I'm not trying to compete against you. You gotta believe me! Its just that I've…wanted to be a hero since I was little…I may not have any magic…but I can still try my hardest can I?"
She whimpers when Bakugou's hands begin to smoke, "You'd never be able to hang with the best of the best…you'd die in the exams!"
The Ink Demon turns around as the others students and teacher faded away, leaving only Izuku, Bakugou and two other boys. He tenses in the shadows as tears prick in the corners of his Darling's eyes, "Why did you do that Kaachan? I need to pay for those on my own!"
"Most first-string Heroes show potential early on," Bakugou remarks, ignoring what Izuku said, "People look at them and just know they're destined for greatness. When I'm the only student from this garbage high school to get into U.A Guild, people'll start talkin' about me like that. They'll realize I'm legit, the next big thing. That's not ego talking I'm just that good," Bakugou then grabs Izuku's shoulders, smoke rising and the Ink Demon growls more as his Queen whimpers in pain. Here's a little word of advice, nerd. Don't even think of applying, or else," Izuku shivers, curling in on herself but cries out when Bakugou pushes her. Her back hitting the window, "Ya' know if you really want to be a Hero that badly, there actually might be another way. Just pray to whatever God you worship that you'll be born with a Core in your next life. Then take a swan dive off the roof of a building," Izuku's eyes widen as rage builds up in her eyes, "Here…why don't I give you a helping hand," he brings his hand forward to push her out of the now open window and he strikes.
Emerging from the shadows he strikes his claws into the back of the Betrayer's throwing him onto the ground. He only had a moment to look up before he slams his hoof into his face. He faded away and he growled in disappointment, as he remembers that this was just a dream…no a nightmare.
The two other boys were gone….faded away. Izuku, now back in her semi-ink form, was curled up on the ground, her tail curling around her as she sobs. He rumbles soothly, slowly coming closer. He could scent her pain…her sadness…and he slowly wraps his arms around her, pulling her close to him. "Its alright Izuku….Its alright my precious Queen…I promise you…he will never hurt you again," he nuzzles her as she sobs, her arms going up to wrap around his neck, her face hiding in his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
Izuku gasps awake, panting as tears stream down her face. Wilson's voice crackles on some speakers.
"Attention! Children of the Machine! This is Wilson. The feeble uprising in Lost Harbor has been ended by the Keepers. We are safe once again from the treason of the Cyclebreakers! The Keepers are watching,"
Izuku slowly brings her hand up, wiping at her ace when she felt movement next to her head. Looking over she smiles at Bendy who blinks at her, concern in his eyes, "Its alright…were… were you protecting me? From my nightmare?" Bendy nods his head, and he pets her head making a whistling noise, "Thanks Bendy," she slowly gets up taking a breath before grabbing her pipe, "I want you to stay here ok…the others here will keep you safe,"
He shakes his head frantically and grabs her arm. Izuku pulls him into a hug, "I saw how you shook at the mention of the Gent Building…you'll be safe here I promise. And I'll come back, with Henry! He's your creator right…your dad?" Bendy looks around nervously before he nods his head, "Well…I promise I'll get him back to you…ok?"
Izuku smile slowly turns to a frown as Bendy clutches to her more tightly, shivering. She couldn't help but wonder…what id Wilson and these so-called Keepers do to him.
Majuten- Ma from Mahou (magic) and juten from Ka juten (overfilled) at least that is what google told me but I may be wrong. This is base off of overblot from twisted wonderland and I guess this world's version of nomus...at least the cause of them.
Also this story did not want to write, like at all. Which is a given for me since I know what I want to write in my head but don't know how to write it. Also know Bakugou didn't try to push Izuku out the window, it was just how her nightmare was. a part of her thinks that if it didn't mess with his dreams, he would kill her. Would he? Who knows (haven't decided yet) Anyway I hope you all enjoy this fic! Please leave a comment...I love them! So much...they make me so happy
