Sup guys, Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one is about Splatoon. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Splatoon, Nintendo, and a few others do.
Frye had been bored since the fall of Grizzco and his entire company. Marie and her friends had also been quiet, content to look over Splatsville and make it their home for now. Such a weird week.
Well, weird if someone considers breaking into an old city, almost killing the members of a group of heroic freedom fighters with a shell of an Octostomp she took down with her eels and used said eels to try and kill her enemy…. Squit did Frye almost ponder how odd her life was to try and kill a superhero… Then again? She didn't know the rules and all.
The clan leader and member and leader of Deep Cut were shaken from her vapid and odd thoughts. Frye blinked, shaking her head back and forth, tired more and more with it becoming odd at the end of the day.
All of it seemed to be more and more fascinating to her. She didn't expect more and more problems to pop up beside the money issue in all of it.
Frye clicked her jaw together and pet one of her eels as she slowly walked through the streets with Big Man… It did worry her at the end of the day. it was just far too much at the end of the day.
Squidlings and Octolings looked at the duo as if they were living legends which they were technically at the end of the day. Deep Cut did take a bit of a hit considering they were competing with the Squid Sisters to try and be the cream of the crop. it didn't bother Frye considering she both wanted a contest to try and climb to the top and all the loss of challenge did was bother her.
All of it would not be fun and she was eager to get a party started.
"AI!" Big Man said as Frye hummed and looked upwards into the sky.
"I don't know what to do, Big Man. I don't expect anything big to come anytime soon." Frye said as she shrugged and looked downwards at the ground. "We need to get those cards anyway, you guys wanted to play that card game, right?" Frye stated before she rests her hands on her legs and smirked to herself.
She almost wondered if Agent 3 wanted to play the card game, she'd have fun schooling her on it if she managed to get her hands on the pack of cards in front of her. It'd be a LOT better than losing as she did before. Problems stressed out the leader of Deep Cut and the LAST thing she wanted was to try and think of helping Big Man with her and Shiver's next song stressed out… Yet again? Maybe it might sell a bit better and maybe it'd help a lot better for now.
Yet? it was a lot odder for now and she rather liked it that way. Fun was always better when it was weird, she had more fun trying to power through it all and yet it was so nice and refreshing for now… Something she didn't get to enjoy that often. It didn't quite end so easily, not when it became an issue that she could enjoy either.
"AY… What's that?" Big Man asked before pointing at a table where there was a crowd gathered around.
Frye tilted her head to the side, curious as to what to do next at the moment. It would only serve to become odder and odder and she couldn't contain herself from asking questions in her mind for now. Frye felt her curiosity get the better of her for only a second as she pulled away towards the table for the time being at the end of it all.
She blinked as she watched an entire crowd of people clustered around the table who were all prepared for something that could or would be a problem.
She didn't want to try and figure it out, all too eager to figure something else, all too unsure of what to even say or do next. Not once did she find something so easy to try and figure out at the end of the day.
It was cool and she wanted to keep going.

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be delayed. The next chapter will be much longer and set up the plot and more of what happened since the end of Splatoon and such. Until the 900–6500-word chapter in 2-10 months at the moment, Lighting Wolf out!
