Miller held up an electric toothbrush. "What about..."

"No," Wolf and Danny said in unison.

"But Courtney mentioned wanting one," Miller began, only to be cut off.

"Remember the year that I got Kara those cushy socks she said that she liked?" Danny asked. "I paid for that error for months."

"Years," Wolf corrected, snickering. When Danny looked at him, he added. "Sasha told me not to let you buy socks."

As Danny began muttering to himself about women and long memories, Wolf wandered towards the back of the store. He might give Green shit, but he wasn't in the clear himself. Azima had been less than thrilled with the selection of perfume and lotions that he purchased for her birthday. Apparently, the Navy actually had a rule against wearing scented anything in the field which, once Wolf considered it, kind of made sense. Although, as he argued at the time, it could only be an improvement over the usual smell inside the tents. Unfortunately, avoiding anything scented or chocolate — Azima wasn't a fan — eliminated half of his gift ideas.

Wolf was heading towards the selection of scarfs, when he ran into a row of gleaming boxes. "Miller! Green! I found it."

Danny was first around the corner. He frowned. "What is it?"

"A heated towel rack," Wolf explained, grabbing three from the stack.

Danny still looked hesitant. "I don't know. Kara mentioned these sandals that she wanted..."

Wolf vaguely recalled Azima saying something similar. Something about gladiator sandals in gold? But no, this was way, way better.

"Trust me, mate, this is perfect," Wolf said, passing over one of the towel warmers. "You put it on the bathroom wall and it keeps their towel toasty while they're in the shower. Personal but not too personal." Wolf waggled his eyebrows at Miller, who turned bright red, before handing a box to Danny. "No need to worry about Kara unwrapping it in front of Frankie."

Danny made a face before accepting the towel rack. "I think I'll get the shoes too. Women like shoes, right? That's different from socks?"

Wolf shook his head. "Oh, Padawan, how much you have to learn."
