Prompt: Vulture team take competitive gingerbread baking very seriously. *Slight change to the Burk brothers.

Ravit walked into her kitchen to discover that every dish she owed was currently in use. Carlton knelt before the table, Levi next to him, as they carefully lifted the roof onto the gingerbread house before them.
"Mama!" Levi shout-whispered upon catching sight of her. "Look at the house that Daddy and I built."
Ravit studied the house, which was more of a castle. Two stories tall, with what appeared to be turrets, it was difficult to even tell that the thing was made of gingerbread given that the entire surface was covered in icing and candy. She smiled at her son. "It's beautiful, matok. What parts did you make?"
"Daddy let me lick the frosting," Levi announced, drawing a sheepish look from Carlton.
Ravit gave him a pointed stare before bending down to press a kiss to her son's forehead. "You go clean up. Then we have to repair this kitchen."
"Yes, mama."
As Levi disappeared, Ravit turned her attention to Carlton. "You said Levi was going to make a house out of graham crackers with his cousins. What happened?"
Carlton shuffled, standing up, careful not to hit the house. "I was planning on that but then Cam called and I..."
Ravit threw up a hand at the word Cam, having given up trying to get the two of them to stop with the constant competition. "Enough said. I assume that you'll clean up this mess?"
"Right now," Carlton assured her.
Ravit nodded, heading towards the hall. At the last moment, she stopped. "Exactly how much icing did you let Levi eat?"
Carlton opened the dishwasher. "I'm going to get this running and then take him to the park to run off some energy." He paused. "Maybe I'll ask Cam if he wants to meet us with Avery and Isaac."
Ravit hid a smile. "Good plan."
