Ah, what a perfectly normal Monday. It was finally November 28th, two days before Ember's birthday. Everything would go perfect, right? With this question, you might be thinking, "Well, usually all stories have a problem." Yes, you are correct, but this story, my friend, is a different problem.

Anais was still sick and was in her bed half of the day. Her flushing came down a little bit but her coughing and runny nose was still there. Every night when Gumball came home late, he would kiss her cheek and tell her good night. He just loved her smile afterwards, but he hated the fact she had a cold.

Well, now that you're caught up—

"Kids, hurry, you're about to be late!"

"Ah!" Gumball said, startled by his mother's sudden call. He fell off of the bed and stood up, "Huh?"

"Come on, Gumball, we're gonna be late!" Darwin said, quickly getting his socks on. Penny got her leggings and jacket on as Gumball got his shirt on and changed his underwear and pants. He grabbed his bookbag, handing Darwin his and Penny hers. They ran downstairs and out of the door.

"Bye, mom!" from Gumball and Penny and a "Bye, Mrs. Mom!" from Darwin. They ran out of the door, and just in time, too. They barely missed the bus.

"Morning, kids!" Rocky greeted. Gumball sat with Penny and Darwin sat with Carrie.

"I see you were about to miss the bus," Carrie teased with a snicker.

"It's not my fault, the alarm clock wouldn't ring," Darwin replied.

"I wonder why," Carrie said as she glared at Gumball.

"Why do you suspect me??" Gumball asked.

"It was just a joke, Gumball," Carrie snickered.

"Riiiight," Gumball replied, rolling his eyes.

"Has anyone seen Tobias?" Masami asked.

"Not sure, why?" Darwin asked.

"Because I care?"

"That's strange for you," Darwin mumbled.

"What, because I care about my boyfriend?" Masami replied, "Give me a break, Darwin."

The bus gasped in shock, jaws wide open in shock. When they got of the bus, everyone's jaws were still lowered, similar to the scene in "The Coach". When they got to Math class, Miss. Simian asked them what was so surprising.

"Why do y'all seem surprised?" she asked the class.

"Tobias has a girlfriend," Carmen replied, still with her jaw opened.

"Oh, wow," Miss. Simian replied, "Who?"

"Masami," Banana Joe answered.

Miss. Simian lowered her jaw, "Whaaaaat???"

"Why is it so surprising?" Masami asked.

"Because Tobias always tried to get you to ask him out. Remember that joke he made?" Banana Joe asked.

"Hey, Masami," Tobias greeted, "I think we should go out."

"But we're already outside," she replied.

Masami clicked her tongue, "Okay, point taken, but he's different now. More...handsome, funny, cool."

"O...kay," Gumball replied, "You do you, I guess."

"At least he won't annoy me anymore," Penny claimed.

Tobias suddenly came running in the room, "Sorry I'm late, everyone, I overslept."

Everyone, with their jaws still lowered, looked at him while clapping. Tobias raised an eyebrow, "Why are you all clapping?"

"You. Masami."

"Masami."

"Girlfriend."

"Shockingly having a girlfriend."

"Dating Masami."

"What are you talking about?" Tobias asked, "What's so surprising about me dating my lifelong crush?"

"I thought that was Penny."

"I never liked her, I just wanted attention."

Penny turned into her dragon form, "Are you kidding me?!"

"Was it not obvious?" he replied.

"Hey!" Gumball interrupted, "How could you not love," Gumball wrapped his arms around Penny and pulled her close, "This beautiful girl."

Penny blushed. Tobias rolled his eyes, "Oh please, Masami much more hot than that monster you call a girlfriend."

Gumball was about to hit him so hard, "Why you little—"

"STOP!" Ember butted in, "Just chill!"

"You expect me to chill??" Gumball asked.

"You know what, I'm just gonna...alternative medicine." And as suspected, Mr. Small came running.

"Did someone say...alternative medicine?"

"You did not just do that," Gumball crossed his arms.

"Gumball seems to be angry," Ember explained, "Please calm him down in your office."

"Come on, Gumball," Mr. Small said, grabbing his hand and walking out of the classroom. Gumball looked at Ember angrily and then walked out.

"Okay, now that that situation is...ahem...done," Ember stated, "Miss. Simian, let's get on with math class."

"To be honest, I want to hear more about this Tobami relationship," Miss. Simian said, glancing at Tobias.

"Oh, come on!" Ember groaned, "I want math. Curse you, Tobias."

"What is so interesting about me and Masami's relationship? Y'all weren't this surprised when Darwin and Carrie got together or Penny and Gumball or Alana and Ember when they got engaged.

"Because they were more likely to get girlfriends," Darwin teased.

"Hey!" Masami shouted, "Y'all leave my boyfriend alone. Miss. Simian, this is math class, not talk-about-other-people's-relationships class."

Miss. Simian rolled her eyes, "Fine. Pop quiz."

"Alright, class, what questions do you have?" Tobias asked.

During lunch, the news was already out. Everyone knew about Tobias and Masami's relationship, most asking her why she dated him, and her response everytime was "Because I can" or "He's handsome unlike you". Gumball returned from Mr. Small's office and walked to the table with Ember, Alana, Darwin, Carrie, and Penny.

"So, how was the session?" Penny asked, tapping the place beside her, "Are you feeling more calmer now?"

As he sat down beside her, he nodded, "Yeah, a little bit."

"Everyone has been asking Masami all the same questions for the past ten minutes," Ember said, "I think she's getting annoyed."

The group looked at Masami, who was starting to turn a slight color of grey, and then back at each other.

"Yeah, I see what you mean," Penny replied, "We need to do something about it."

"I say we do a big gesture," Gumball suggested, "We make the attention on someone else!"

"That is actually a good gesture," Penny replied, "Who here doesn't mind attention?"

Ember raised her hand, "I don't mind it."

"Okay, so what about you, Alana?" Penny asked.

"It depends, to be honest," Alana replied, "I don't really like attention, but sometimes I can tolerate it."

Ember gasped, "I have the perfect situation!" She took Alana's sketchbook and flipped to her personal favorite: A drawing of her and Alana's wedding, "If you want to, of course."

"That'll be perfect," Alana smiled.

"Good luck," Gumball replied. Before they could do anything, though...

RING!

"We'll do it tomorrow. Now it's time for Physics," Penny noted.

"See y'all after school," Gumball waved and walked off.

After school when Gumball, Darwin, and Penny got home, Nicole met them at the door.

"Thank goodness you're home, do you mind doing me a tiny favor?" Nicole asked.

"Sure, what is it?" Penny replied.

"I need y'all to watch Anais and Izzy, I'm going to take Greyson and Naima to the doctor for a check-up," Nicole said, holding the two twins.

"No problem, mom," Gumball replied, "Where's dad?"

"Asleep," Nicole replied, before heading out the front door.

"I'll go check on Anais and Izzy," Gumball said, heading upstairs. He opened the bedroom door and headed inside, where Anais was sleeping on the bottom bunk. Nicole had let her since she was tired and too weak to climb up and down. He smiled at his cute little sister. He walked over to her and kissed her forehead. He was going to walk over to Izzy, who was asleep in her crib, when she held his hand. He turned back and saw her with her eyes opened.

"Shalutahions," Anais greeted.

Gumball smiled back, "Satulations. How are you feeling?"

"A liddle better," she replied. Her nose was still congested, so her speech sounded weird.

"That's good," he replied, "Do you want anything?"

"Mhaybeh someh wa'er or shoup," she replied.

Gumball nodded and exited the bedroom. He walked downstairs and saw Penny and Darwin on the couch watching TV.

"How's she doing?" Darwin asked.

"She's feeling better," he answered, "Looking better, too. She's not much flushed anymore, but her nose still seems to be congested. She said she wants some soup, so I'm making her some."

"Alright," Darwin replied, making her attention point back to the TV. Gumball headed to the kitchen and put some chicken noodle soup into a bowl, and then put it into the microwave. Once it beeped, he took it out, got some crackers, a glass of water, and put it all on a tray. He went back upstairs and handed the tray to Anais, who was now sitting up, wrapped in her blanket and her Daisy plush beside her. She reached her hands out and got the tray.

"Thankh you."

He nodded, "Let me know if you need anything, okay?"

She nodded and started to eat her soup. He thought for a moment before placing her hand on her forehead. It was still warm. It felt more warm than it once was, but he honestly couldn't really tell. He moved the back of his hand down to her cheeks. It was the same temperature. She sniffled as she took the bite. He frowned. He hated seeing her so miserable.

"Call me if you need anything, okay?"

Anais nodded, "Okayh."

He smiled and picked up Izzy and exited the bedroom. He made his way downstairs and met the other two, who were on the couch. He sat on the couch as Izzy reached for Penny.

"Hey, Isabella," Penny giggled, picking her up.

"Mama," Isabella cooed. She clapped her tiny hands together and raised them in the air, like she just didn't care.

After a couple of minutes, Anais started crying upstairs. Darwin could hear the small sounds of his sister upstairs, but he couldn't tell if it was the TV or Anais herself.

"Is Anais crying?" Darwin asked, pausing the TV and looking toward the stairs.

Gumball heard the cries of his eldest little sister, making him dart upstairs. He opened the door and saw her bundled on her blanket, crying and shaking. She was breathing hard and hyperventilating.

"Anais, calm down," Gumball demanded, running to her and pulling her close, "Breath slowly."

Anais couldn't though. She was in the middle of a panic attack. Her first one.

"I can't!" she yelled, still shaking and crying. Her heart was racing and her hands were trembling.

"Darwin!" he called. Darwin ran into the bedroom, wondering why he was called, "Go get dad! Anais is having a panic attack!"

Darwin nodded and headed downstairs. He opened the door to Nicole and Richard's bedroom, "Mr. Dad, Anais is having a panic attack!"

Richard shot up and ran upstairs. He opened to door to see his eldest son comforting his eldest daughter.

Gumball was rubbing her back, "Breath in and out slowly."

Anais followed her brothers orders and she slowly started to calm down. Her breathing went back to normal, and she stopped shaking and crying. "There you go," Gumball said, "It's alright."

"You okay, sweetie?" Richard asked, walking to his daughter.

"I thinkh so," she replied. Gumball let go of her and she bundled back up.

"What triggered the attack?" Richard asked.

She shrugged, "I bon't khow."

"Should I call your mother?"

"No, she's fine now dad, thank you," Gumball assured.

"I wfnt mohm."

"Okay, Darwin, do you mind going and calling mom?" Gumball asked. Darwin nodded and headed downstairs. Gumball grabbed the tray, taking the half-full glass of water and putting it on the stand, and walked downstairs.

"Mom, you need to hurry, Anais just had a panic attack," said Darwin into the phone. Gumball walked past and out the tray on the kitchen counter and walked back into the living room. Nicole suddenly appeared in the doorway, putting the twins on the floor, and running upstairs into the kids' bedroom.

She looked at Anais and asked, "Are you alright, sweetheart?"

"I-I thinfk so," she replied, "Gumballh helpbt me calm bown."

"Are you feeling okay now?" she asked, feeling Anais' forehead with the back of her hand.

Anais nodded, "Yeah."

"Your fever seems to be going down," she noted.

Gumball peeked through the door, "I gave her some soup and water earlier."

Nicole turned to Gumball and smiled, "Thank you, Gumball."

"You're welcome," Gumball smiled, "How was the doctor's appointment?"

"Well, the doctor's found a possibility of autism in both of them," Nicole said.

"What's autism?" Gumball asked.

"It's like a genetic thing that mutates the way you socialize or something," Nicole explained, "But it doesn't really matter, because they are still your siblings."

"Why, you think I would unsibling them?"

"No, Gummypuss, I know you wouldn't," Nicole replied with a smile, walking out of the bedroom. Gumball walked over to Anais and sat down beside her. Darwin walked back into the bedroom with Penny, who was holding Isabella.

"Hey, Anais," Penny waved, "How are you feeling?"

"Better, thankhs," Anais smiled.

"Now, we have to find a way to get Masami and Tobias to stop being the center of attention," Darwin started.

"Why are we boing dhad?" Anais asked.

"Tobias finally got a girlfriend," Darwin replied, "It's Masami."

"Oh," Anais replied, "Wowh."

Anais could feel a tickle in her nose. "Ah!" "Ah!" "AHCOO!" She sniffled and wiped her nose, "Ouch."

Her voice.

Her nose.

It wasn't congested anymore.

Who would have thought a sneeze could fix something?

"Hey, you're nose is better!" Gumball exclaimed.

"Yeah, my nose feels a lot better now," Anais sniffled again.

"Okay, so here's the plan..."

The next day on the bus, Ember talked to Alana about the wedding drawing she did. She tried to get everyone's attention on the bus to the drawing or at least to them.

"Wow, Alana, this drawing is the best one yet," Ember exclaimed, "You just might the next big artist!"

"Let me see!"

"What drawing?"

"Woah, that's good!"

"Can I see??"

Alana showed people her drawing, "Right here. It's the wonderful wedding of my beautiful fiancee. Her name is Ember Reverie Jade."

"Woah!"

"Wow!"

"Pretty!"

Ember and Alana looked each other, winking and smiling, and then back at everyone else.

They did it.

Or maybe they didn't.

"It's your fault!" Tobias shouted as Masami.

"It is not!" she yelled back, "You just want attention! You never loved me, you loved PENNY, NOT ME!"

The bus silenced and glanced at the arguing couple.

"MAYBE I NEVER LIKED GIRLS IN THE FIRST PLACE!" Tobias raged, "I'M GAY, OKAY!! I LIKE LESILE!"

Lesile paused, "Wait, what?"

"THEN GO DATE THAT LOSER," Masami screamed, standing up and floating away from his seat, "WE'RE OVER!"

The bus ride was silent the rest of the way, and during class, they listened to the teachers instead of talking, during lunch, they ate and didn't speak, and on the way home, they did the same.

At Tobias' house, he was on Elmore Plus when he got a message from Lesile.

L: You like me?

T: Ye

L: I'm gay yk

T: ye

L: I like u too

T: really

L: ye

T: wanna hang out?

L: yes. after school tmr?

T: I'd love to. see you there :3

L: see ya 3

And that's it. Lesile and Tobias became a thing. No attention was on them. The next day at school, Tobias and Lesile announced they were together and everything became normal again. Or at least for a little while, but that is a story for another day.
