Chapter 1: No Night Shift

Alice was sweeping the floors of the Twisted Wonderland attraction. She was thinking about how she came to this place and what caused her to take this job.
Flashback ~
Alice had finished her job at Cafe Mew Mew when she recieved a call. She looked at her phone to see it was an unknown number. She shrugged and answered the call.
"Hello, speak your peace or hang up." She said into the phone. There was a voice on the other end of the line. "Oh, uh, sorry. We were wondering if you'd be interested in taking up a job as a janitor in the Twisted Wonderland attraction. You know, with it being new and all." The voice over the phone told her. Alice perked up at this. She thought it was a good oppertunity. So she decided to give a shot.
"What hours do you have open?" She had asked. "Uh, well, we've got the morning shift, the afternoon shift, and the night shift. Which one would work best for you?" The voice on the phone asked. Alice was thoughtful for a moment before she replyed. "I'll take the afternoon shift, if that's still open." She stated simply. The voice on the phone was hestitate before responing. "Uh, unfornately, that spot has already been taken. Is their any other shift that you'd be willing to take?" Alice signed in annoyance before replying. "I'll take night shift then." She told them.
"Okay, great. So, uh, we'll send you the location of the attraction and we'll see you there tonight. Sound good?" The voice asked. "Yeah, sounds good to me." Alice told them. "Alright, bye." The voice said quickly. "Bye." Alice said back. She hung up the phone and went back inside the cafe and explained her situation to the boss. He was annoyed, but also surprised about it. He thought it would be a good idea for her to work there so they could broaden their horizons. He helped her set up a working resume and told her to get going or gonna be late.
When she got to the place, she was briefed on what she was expected to do during the night shift. It didn't really bother her all that much. They gave her a black uniform that resembled that of a school uniform to wear for the job. She raised an eyebrow in question. "They say that it'll help you feel like your part of the attraction." The guy told her. He also gave her a white with a black interior arm band as well. She put it on her left arm. "Good luck in there, rookie. Oh, almost forgot, be wary of the anamatronic that's in there. They say it roams around at night on it's own." The guy warned her. Alice nodded her head in response and went inside to start her new job.
End of Flashback ~
Alice got done sweeping the floors in the room she was in and went to the next room. It was there that she took notice of a figure slumped aganist the wall.
She stopped sweeping and went to take a closer look at it. 'It looks familar to me.' She thought as she looked it over a few times. She shook her head and went back to sweeping the floors. She continued sweeping when she heard a clunk. She stopped again and looked over at the anamatronic with concern. The anamatronic had moved slightly to the right, but didn't move anymore than that.
Alice stared at it a little longer and decided to move to another room for safety reasons. She signed and swepted the room she was in. She continued to do so until she heard what sounded like a machine starting up and looked into the room with the anamatronic in it. She started to sweat as it started to move.
Crank! Crank! Clunk! Whiirr! Clank!
The anamatronic stood up and took a deep breath. It looked around as Alice ducked back into the room she was in in a panic. 'Holy Shit, it's alive.' She thought as she looked back into the room where the anamatronic was, only to find it gone. She came out of hiding and looked around the room to be unable to it anywhere. 'Where did it go? It couldn't have gone far concidering the fact that it just woke up.' She thought quietly to herself. It wasn't until she felt arms wrap around her waist that she got startled and turned to looked at the anamatronic, only to find that they were holding her somewhat tightly. She stood somewhat still as they held onto her.
The anamatronic breathed deeply as they held the girl. They then put their head on top of hers. She was baffled as they did it. She decided to speak up. "Um, are you okay?" She asked them. The anamatronic closed their eyes and smiled softly. "You smell different than the last time i saw you." They said to her. "W-Who are you talking about?" She wondered. The anamatronic then opened their eyes and looked down at Alice. They blinked twice and saw that the person they were holding was not the same person that they knew, but a different person that was wearing the same uniform as the other one. "You feel familiar, yet different at the same time." They told her. Alice blushed a little in response. "Um, What's your name? If I may ask?" She wondered. "My name is Ortho Shroud. What's yours?" The anamatronic, Ortho, asked her. "My name is Alice. Neet to meet you?" She stated with a queston. Ortho looked at her was a thoughtful expression. "Do you know where I am?" He asked her.
"Your in an attraction called Twisted Wonderland." She told him.
