Seeing that Star Destroyer in orbit truly re-woken something deep inside Bob. He hadn't felt this 'alive' since the Colony's last attempt at an evacuation via the main shuttle bay. He had elected to be part of the "delaying force" to allow the surviving civilians and those too injured to fight, to escape. Knowing that it was only him and his squad that stood between the civilians and those monsters made Bob fight like a rabid animal. Even after his last squamate was drug off to a fate worse than death, he fought tooth and nail. All the more reason his spirit was thoroughly crushed when all he could do was watch as the horse of monsters broke past him, and slaughtered all that remained. By the end of that day, he was all that remained of the living in this colony. To the best of his knowledge, everyone else was either, dead or know just another Monster roaming the halls looking for their next victim. Though seeing that Star Destroyer gave him the hope that at the very least he could get out alive, and carry the memories of those who didn't with him.

However, he came across a problem he felt stupid for not thinking about earlier. You see, the colony is split between three main facilities, the Main Control, the Main Star Port, and the Main Housing Complex. Each of these facilities was separated from the others by hundreds of kilometers. There were only two ways to get between the colonies, either by shuttle or by the tram network. Seeing how Bob wasn't the best shuttle pilot, he is just a Stormtrooper, after all, he figured he'd just hop a ride on the tram, and get a ride to the Main Facility. However, that wasn't going to be as easy as he had hoped. The power for the Tram controls where out. The exact how, or why was beyond Bob, and to be frank, he didn't care. All he cared about was whether or not he could get it back into working order.

After examining what controls and functions remained in operations, Bob had come to the conclusion that the main power to the tram rails and train was still on. It was just that fact that the train was not at this particular facility, and the controls to call it were disabled. He tried to do what he could, but he wasn't an engineer and wasn't very good with electrical things. As he fumbled with the electrical wires seeing if he couldn't redirect power, his mind floated back to his Dad. He had been an Electrical Engineer during the Clone Wars, and Bob was sure he'd be able to figure some way out of this mess. Even now, he swore he could almost hear his Dad saying his name like he was there. It even made Bob stop for a moment to look around and make sure he wasn't just hearing things, but it must have only been the wind. Thinking about his Dad had dampened Bob's previously positive attitude, and he took a step away from the tram controls in defeat. However, thinking about his Dad also gave him an idea, or at the least reminded him of something.

He remembered that after a serious power surge, the tram system was designed to restart. The train is currently stuck in the middle of the track, must have been stopped by the passengers or something along its route. Either way, if he could manage to trip a breaker or something, he could force the system to restart, this would override whatever the Passengers had done to stop the train and force it to resume its route, right back to here. It was genius, and he felt proud for coming up with it as he silently 'stuck-it' to all those who simply called Stormtroopers "brain-dead bucket heads". Now all he had to do was figure out a way to trigger said power surge, and he might have an idea for that as well.
