Paul's mind was completely puzzled now. He found the object Monica wanted him to find. He recognized it as Monica's time capsule, but he hasn't yet told her what he found. He just sat on a roof and dug through all of it. Finding that time capsule also brought back the memories he thought were erased when reality was warped. In order to save his mother's life, he had to give up his marriage and reality was altered so that their marriage never happened. He now remembers what his life was like before, but he wasn't sure what to do.

"This nuts." Paul said as his head felt like it was spiraling. "One minute, I'm in a committed relationship. The next, I remember that I'm married. What am I going to do?" Those memories coming back has also brought back the feelings and love he has for Monica. If it weren't for that deal, they still would be together. Now, he's in love with Sabella. He loves two women now and he has to choose, but he doesn't know who. If he chooses Sabella, Monica will never know the truth, but he'll be living a lie. If he chooses Monica, he has to end it with Sabella when she's done so much for him and knows how much she loves him. Even if he does end it with Sabella, he doesn't know if Monica will get all her memories back like he did. He just doesn't know what to do. At times like this, you need people close to you.

Harris' College

"I'm sorry, but exams are going on right now. If this isn't an emergency, I'm afraid I can't let you through." A lady that worked at a desk claimed. Paul was hoping he could talk to Harris about his situation. Unfortunately, Paul isn't able to get through. Harris is in the middle of classes right now and he's taking an exam.

"I understand. Thank you anyway." Paul said as he turned around and left.

"I could give him a message if you want. Harris does come by here." The lady said.

"No, that's fine." Paul said as he didn't want to be a bother. All he could really do was just leave. He walked right out of there and figured he had to think of something else to solve his problems. "Now who can I go to? I don't want to bother Mom with this. She likes Sabella, but I think she prefers I end up with Monica. I doubt Ray and Thomas could tell me anything helpful. Jessica will just get back to Harris. Who could tell me what to do when I'm in love with two people?" As soon as he said that out loud, there was one person that came to mind. However, this might be a tough subject for her.

Black and White

There was one person that could help Paul with this situation and that was Lindsay. She was dating Thomas for a while, but she still had feelings for Paul. Although, this might not be the best idea considering what they've been through. After Lindsay came clean about that, the two of them did get intimate and she attempted to get back with him. However, Paul turned her down and their friendship and partnership was almost ruined. Still, he didn't know who else could help him. That's why he went over to her club and went to talk to her about it.

"So, you're having relationship problems and you decided to come to me for help?" Lindsay said as she's already been informed on some of what's going on. "You're in love with Sabella, but you think some feelings you have for an old girlfriend might be coming back."

"Yeah. That's about right." Paul said. He made sure he didn't go into too many details because he figured Lindsay would end up spilling the beans sooner or later. Plus, his real memories might have come back, but Lindsay's haven't. It would have been difficult for him to explain.

"Paul, if it's me you're having feelings for, that could be like opening Pandora's box." Lindsay warned.

"No! It's not you!" Paul denied.

"Well, that didn't hurt." Lindsay said as she felt a bit offended.

"Lindsay, please be serious. I'm in a real situation here, and I didn't know who else to go to considering...our history." Paul said as he tried to be delicate. "Can I trust that you won't say too much about this?"

"Paul, I might be a fun loving gal, but of course you can trust me." Lindsay said. "If you couldn't, wouldn't I have spilled your identity or something?" She raised a point there.

"Look, you were in love with me when you were still with Thomas. Given everything that has happened, what would you do if you were in my position?" Paul asked.

"Honestly, I probably would have jumped at the chance if I knew you still wanted me." Lindsay claimed. "You're a hard guy to just get over. Still, when you made it clear that you didn't want to be with me like that anymore, I had to try and move on."

"Yeah... Jean's doing the same thing. That's why she's decided to cut me out of her life." Paul claimed.

"As great as it is to go back in the past, it's not really that easy." Lindsay said. "You have a great thing going with Sabella, and what if this girl doesn't have those feelings for you anymore. Don't you think it's possible she's moved on as well. I think really you're just caught up in something in what you once had, but you have something just as great."

"You think?" Paul questioned.

"I do." Lindsay said. "Paul, Sabella is a great girl. Do you really want to lose something like that?" Paul didn't, but it's hard since that means he can never tell the truth. "You and Sabella have something great, something real. Still, it's your choice, especially if that other girl feels the same. In the end, go for what you really want." Lindsay brought up some good points and maybe this is something Paul needed to do.

...

Paul

Paul went back to the penthouse he shares with Sabella. Lindsay put things in perspective for him and he might know what to do. It's not going to be easy for him, but this is what he does want. He wished he didn't have to lose something great, but he's got to.

"Hey, Monica. I didn't really find anything there. Sorry, but I don't know myself what you're looking for." Paul texted to Monica. This means that he has to let go of his marriage. He does love Monica, but he loves Sabella as well. He just can't help it, but this means he can never tell Monica the truth now. This is something he wished didn't happen, but he's moved on and this is the only way he can think of that won't break Monica's heart, even if she does get her memories back.

"Hey." Sabella said as she walked over and hugged him from behind and kissed him. Sabella was so happy with him, but she noticed something was on his mind. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine." Paul said.

"You don't look fine." Sabella said as she was worried about him.

"I am." Paul said as he turned to her. "I just had to make a tough decision, but I know I made the right one here." He said as he lifted her up and got her legs around him. Sabella didn't get what was going on, but she didn't question it as he kissed her and carried her straight to bed. Paul's life was changed around, and as much as he loves Monica, he feels like this is where he's suppose to be. It's time for him to move on, let go of the past, and enter the future. Just what does the future have?
