Okay, I once have a silly crackship idea (sort of..) by pairing both of Hoozuki and Sebastian Michaelis, since they were my favorite demons. I thought they would look good together..lols (I have a lot crack pairing ideas, including the yaoi ones, but most of them are cringe)

I shall called this pairing Hoozubastian or Sebaszuki

Anyway, I also sucker for hurt and comfort stuffs. I don't see any angst related onitetsu fanfics, and I always seen a lot of Sebastian whump fic. So, why not turning Hoozuki into a protective demon partner for Sebastian? It would be perfect

I'm aware that the characters might be a little bit OOC, but at least I try to make something angsty.

Part 1

He was not expecting this kind of thing to happen.

It was all a coincidence that both Ciel and Sebastian were staying in the same Inn that he and Enma Daiou and also the Zashiki Warashi twins were staying. Perhaps, it's because this Inn has a lot of supernatural occurrences, which make a lot of people having second thoughts of staying here and started to became old and abandoned and they decided to checked on it.

Sometimes, he can't understand that kid's job as a Watchdog. But, since Ciel trusted Hoozuki and the rest of his co-workers from Jigoku, he seems fine with it as long as he doesn't showed his demonic presences. Everything, seems fine until that night...

Hoozuki was busy working with his files and suddenly, he heard some sort of loud crashing voice, he can't figured out what it was and there was also a distant muffled screaming and shouting voice. The single horned oni went out of his room and searched for the noise, Enma Daiou and the Zashiki Warashi twins probably noticed as well, but they don't understand it until Hoozuki left.

"Ciel? Sebastian? Are you there?"

They probably still busy with their jobs as well, he thought but something feels wrong, not only that Ciel is still a child and he could be in danger, but also...who could've done that kind of noise that literally sounds like a room being destroyed?

Hoozuki soon opened the sliding door, his slanted eyes widen all of the sudden. Their room was completely wrecked and damaged, there's a large hole, leading to forest outside. Hoozuki also saw blood stains on the tatami floor.

"Hoozuki-kun, what's wrong?"

Enma Daiou asked his most trusted subordinate who was known for being stoic suddenly shocked to see a completely damaged room.

"Get me an umbrella and a lantern. NOW!"

Enma Daiou was confused, he knew it was dark and raining outside, but why all of the sudden Hoozuki ordering him to get an umbrella and lantern. However, judging by his tone, he meant this was a very dangerous situation, so he took an umbrella and a paper lantern along with his sandals and gave it to Hoozuki and he soon went out through the hole. Ichiko and Niko who were just woke up, noticed their adoptive father figure just went outside in the middle of the night, they soon followed him.

Hoozuki grew worried, he kept on calling the Earl and his butler's name. He soon found Ciel, sitting near a tree, still wearing his usual outfit as an Earl, one of his leg was bleeding but there's no other injuries on his body.

"Earl Ciel ..?"

Ciel saw Hoozuki, he saw the oni's face.

"Huh, Mr. Hoozuki?"

"Yes, it's me, what are you doing here?"

"Thank goodness, you are alright. Where's your butler ?"

"I don't know, he told me to stay here from a shadowy creature. I ordered him to go after it, I just hope he's okay."

Ciel just answered like nothing bad happens and Sebastian can simply handle anything. However, Hoozuki wasn't really sure that it is a simple and usual stuff, Japanese supernatural entities can be very dangerous and aggresive sometimes, he just hoped that Sebastian is all right as well. But, when he irradiate the pavement near Ciel and saw another trail of blood, something just tells him that the demon butler is in a dangerous situation.

"Hoozuki-sama, what's wrong?"

Ichiko and Niko approaches both of Hoozuki and Ciel.

"Girls, take care of Ciel, I'll find Sebastian."

Hoozuki gave them the umbrella and the paper lantern.

"Yes sir."

The two Zashiki Warashi girls helped the Phantomhive Earl to walked back to the Inn, while Hoozuki followed the trail of blood, quickly but carefully. It was lucky that the rain wasn't that hard and the pavement was covered with rocks and pebbles, so it wasn't muddy at all.

He soon arrived at an abandoned shrine, he saw Sebastian, lying on the ground, unconsciously. His body was covered with a lot of cuts, several bruises and bleedings, his butler suit was damaged. Hoozuki quickly checked on his situation, he still breathing, but he looks like he was in great pain. Hoozuki also saw several bite marks on both Sebastian's arms, he carried the wounded butler and went back into the Inn. He could hear his heavy breathing

Hoozuki lied Sebastian down on a futon in his room and quickly prepared a First Aid Kit. He gently wiped a cotton that was damped with alcohol to Sebastian's injured arm and wrapped it up with bandages. The butler just hissed and gritted his teeth, tried to enduring the pain. The Oni took off the gloves and wrapped another bandages on it as he attempted to put bandages on his hands

Hoozuki soon took off Sebastian's tailcoat which was tattered, the butler seems doesn't mind it, as the pain was already taking over his head. Hoozuki soon took off the waistcoat, his eyes widen again when he saw a large red blood stain on Sebastian's white shirt. He never seen something could've done a horrible injury like that, he knew that the Sebastian is pretty strong and more powerful than him, but he never thought he could get hurt that bad. Without any hestitation, Hoozuki tear off the shirt and saw a large bleeding on his stomach and another cuts, like he got scratched and it cuts pretty deep on the front side. He tried to treated the wound gently, Sebastian panted and screamed each time Hoozuki touched the injured stomach which made him flinched, he saw tears coming out of his eyes.

Was he crying? Did those injuries are really that painful?

He thought, he knew that Sebastian was in great pain, so he tried to becareful.

"Don't worry, Sebastian. I'll be gentle as I could, you'll be healed in no time."

Hoozuki continued treating the wounds, he wiped the sweat on Sebastian's face. He continued bandaging the rest of his body, he sighed as he done treating the injured demon butler, he cleaned his hands gave him his red and black yukata, so he could took a rest comfortably.

He went on to look after Ciel, he entered the room next to the room he was in. Of course, he knew that their room was damaged and needed a new one to sleep, he saw Ichiko and Niko finished putting bandages on Ciel's leg, it appears that the girls have their own first aid kit as well.

"He's done."

"He can be pretty stubborn, but he cried a bit when we were treating his leg."

Ciel was embarassed.

"HEY! DON'T TELL HIM THAT!"

Ichiko and Niko just ignored him, they just stared at Hoozuki as if they were waiting for their next task.

"Girls, do me a favor."

"Yes, what is it?" The Zashiki Warashi twins asked in unison.

"I want you two to checked on Sebastian, can you girls do it?"

"Sure."

"We just make sure he's okay."

As the twins left, Hoozuki talked to Ciel.

"You're butler's fine, Ciel. He just really not in best shape."

"I know, I just glad you nursed him. I don't know why you're being so nice to him, eventhough you were known for being a cold blooded oni"

"Thanks, it was my duty to help a fellow demon like Sebastian, your butler."

Hoozuki grabbed a towel to dried his hair that was wet, he didn't dried his hair when he arrived because he was busy tending Sebastian's injuries. He soon tossed the towel to Ciel.

"Here dry yourself."

The young Earl dried his hair. Hoozuki prepared a new outfit for him.

"You better change your outfit."

"No thanks, I could just changing it all by myself." Besides, I'm not that wet, Mr. Hoozuki."

"Ciel, you have to change. You've been sitting outside and got rained on, you might catch a cold or worse, your asthma will get hit you."

"But..."

"I don't care about your branding, okay. I've been through something that probably worse than you know!"

Ciel became speechless, he knew about those rumors about Hoozuki being a former human child and became a human sacrificed. But, he never knew anything more about him, he seems way more mysterious than his demon butler.

*sigh* "I'm sorry, it's just...seeing you suffered from being kidnapped by a cult makes me felt terrible. I can't believe there's someone who would such thing to a child."

Hoozuki clenched his fist as he was completely furious to those who done terrible stuffs to Ciel. He knew his past life as a human child who was sacrificed for his village drought was terrible, but knowing about Ciel's terrible past as he lost his parents and having his manor set on fire also get captured and tortured by a cultist literally made him want to punish those who kidnapped the Earl.

"I maybe a cold blooded, sadistic, and ruthless oni or you might know me as a Kijin and a Chief Representative of Enma Daiou and a former human. But still, I still felt sympathy for those who done something wicked to an innocent like you."

"Mr. Hoozuki..."

"Alright, Earl. I'm gonna change your outfit."

Hoozuki changed Ciel's cloth. He buttoned a small white shirt and helped him put on a new dry shorts.

"Thank you, Mr. Hoozuki."

"No need, it's just my former human instinct that makes me want to do this."

"You reminds me a lot of Sebastian."

"Everyone often compares me to your butler since we're both demons. Although, I'm an oni and he is a contract demon, it's just a matter of coincidence that we are both skilled in many ways and also quite sadistic and cold hearted sometimes."

Ciel just remained silent.

"I should make you some tea."

Hoozuki went into the kitchen, he prepared two cups of green teas. One for Ciel and one for Sebastian. He knew that the butler won't need any kind of meal since he can only souls, especially a soul of his contractor, but there is nothing wrong by giving him a beverage. Enma Daiou looked at his most trusted Aide.

"You seems worried about them, and quite protective to Sebastian."

"I know, I'm doing this because we've been friends. Besides, we were known for being sadistic, ruthless, and cold hearted, but Sebastian is way more sadist and ruthless than me. He may have an incredible strength and lack off moral sometimes, but he still my best friend."

Enma Daiou paused for a second.

"I know you worried about him sometimes, but I just want to ask you something."

"What is it?"

"Are you sure that both of you and Sebastian-san are just good friends? You two seems more than just a friend."

Hoozuki was flabbergasted, his face turned red.

"Wh-what are you talking about?"

"Well, you know. Being a more than just a best friends and also being a..."

Before Enma Daiou finished his sentences, Hoozuki punches his big stomach. He left the kitchen by bringing a tray with two tea cups on it.

"What was that for!?" Enma Daiou asked in a confusion

Hoozuki let out a big sigh

"None of your business."

Hoozuki went into Ciel's room and gave him the tea.

"This tea, it kinda reminds of the one that Tanaka always drinks."

Hoozuki looks very concerned.

"What's wrong?" Ciel asked him.

"Nothing."

The Oni answered coldly, he may look the same as always, being cool-headed as always. But after seeing what happened to Sebastian, Hoozuki seems very off like he was completely worried about the butler's health.

"You're worried about Sebastian again, aren't you?"

"What do you mean, Earl?"

"You look worried when you tried to treating him as if his life was on the line. And now, you got even more concerned about his health, just admit that you cared so much about him, I sometimes felt the same way."

The single horned Oni still remained stubborn, he doesn't want to tell Ciel what he felt.

"No, for the last time, I don't..."

Suddenly, Ichiko and Niko barged in

"HOOZUKI-SAMA! CIEL NII-CHAN!"

"Ichiko? Niko?"

"What's wrong, girls?"

"Mr. Sebastian.."

"He's about to wake up."

Both of them were startled to hear that, they soon went into the the room where Sebastian was treated. Hoozuki carefully approaches the demon butler, he saw him, slowly opening his eyes and trying to speak.

"Ho..Ho..Hoozuki...is... that... you.?"

Sebastian was still half awake, trying to get his consciousness back. His bandaged hand tried to reach Hoozuki's hand, the Oni hold his hand

"Yes, it's me, you're awake. What a relief."

He tried to help Sebastian to get up as he groaned, trying to endure the injuries on his body.

"You better slow down and becareful. You're still injured, and if you're going to asked me what happened to your butler suit, it was completely damaged and you almost died, so it's not good to worried about your outfit when you were dying."

Sebastian looked at himself, he was topless, only covered with bandages, and the only thing that warmed him was Hoozuki's yukata that was covering him like a blanket on his shoulders.

"Here have a drink."

Hoozuki offered him a tea.

"No thanks."

"Just drink it, you can only eat souls but there's nothing wrong to drink, even if it's just a little sip."

Sebastian soon drank the tea that Hoozuki offered, he got choked as he sputtered the green liquid out of his mouth.

"Slow down, Michaelis."

The butler finished drinking the tea, he gave the cup back to Hoozuki.

"Thanks, I kinda appreciate on how you treating my injuries."

"Isn't that what friends are for? Taking care of each other?"

Hoozuki put the cup on the table, only to get himself flinched to see Sebastian aghasted all of sudden.

"What's wrong?"

"Is Bocchan alright?"

"He's okay, just having a small scratch on his leg, but he's fine."

"Can I see him?"

"Don't do anything stupid and only makes you get into trouble, Michaelis !"

Hoozuki tried to stop Sebastian from moving, but he refused.

"No, I have to see him first."

He pushed Hoozuki away and tried to stand up and walk, but a sudden pain shot in his chest, the injury on his stomach stings as his knees gave out and started to losing his balance. He knelt down, holding the throbbing pain and breathes heavily.

"I told you not to stand up so soon, you need to rest!"

Hoozuki approached Sebastian, he knew that the demon butler was as stubborn as he is sometimes. But right now, he needs to rest.

"But Bocchan...?"

"I'm alright, Sebastian."

A familiar boy voice was heard.

"Bocchan..."

"You should take a rest and listen to your friend, Mr. Hoozuki. The sooner you take a rest, the sooner you will be healed."

Sebastian just stared at his young master, Ciel. He was right, he needs to rest. Then, he hugged his young master.

"At least you're alright, Bocchan."

Hoozuki, the Zashiki Warashi twins, and Enma Daiou who were just arrived were relieved to see them were alright despite the injuries. Hoozuki soon asked Ciel a request, he face still has a bit of worry for the butler's situation.

"Ciel, can I have a request?"

"What is it, Mr. Hoozuki?"

Hoozuki soon whispered to Ciel's ear

"Can I sleep with your butler tonight?"

"That's fine by me. I'll just sleep with Ichiko and Niko."

"Actually, the only that I'm worried about was Enma-sama, he can be pretty..."

"WHAT!? YOU'RE SLEEPING WITH SEBASTIAN-SAN!"

Enma Daiou exclaimed.

"Yes, do you have a problem with that? Also, lower your voice, you're kinda noisy."

The cold blooded Oni answered cooly to his boss.

"Of course, Hoozuki-kun. Who's going to accompany me?"

"How pitiful that the Great King of Underworld, Enma Daiou can't sleep without his subordinate."

Sebastian replied with a sly looking smile on his face.

"Please don't mock me like that."

Enma Daiou was annoyed and somewhat disliked how the black haired demon butler just teased him by saying that.

Hoozuki was ready to go to sleep, it still feels weird that he slept with Sebastian but it was a right thing to do. He saw the butler was still awake.

"You still awake?"

"Yeah, I'm not get used to sleep before."

"So, you're telling me that Western Demons, especially Contract Demons like you don't go to bed?"

To be fair, Hoozuki doesn't know much about Sebastian, the only Western Demons that he knew were Satan, Beelzebub and Lady Lilith and they don't do soul exchange contract stuffs like the demon butler did.

"Several demon, especially demons who do contracts like me only sleep for recreational uses. It feels luxurious somehow."

Hoozuki didn't say anything, he was kinda tired. But then, he answered.

"Just don't wake me up by accident. I hate it when someone wake me up like that."

"Alright then, but before you went to bed, I have one final question."

"What is it?"

"You seem pretty caring to me and Bocchan, was that because you actual cares for us, especially me? Or it was just some of your former human instinct that just occurred?"

The Oni became silent again. He didn't know what he was going to say, perhaps it was his former human instinct that suddenly occurred to see Sebastian in wounded state. Or perhaps he has feelings for him? Hoozuki felt something painful in his chest as if he was feeling something that he can't understand as a demon.

He just hope it was his feeling and emotions for the butler that he keep bottling up made him like that.
