A/N: And we are at the final part in this finale to my EDGE saga. It's been a ride but I'm ready to hang up my action/crime drama gloves and go back to some romantic fluff. I have a project coming up next month that I'm stoked about.

Please leave a review, like or follow - all of that is much appreciated!

Special shout outs to ScottyBgood and Invader Johnny for the kind words! Hope to see you all again soon.

Peace and love!

THREE MONTHS LATER...

Jade was pacing back and forth, clutching the manila folder to her chest.

"Baby, you're making me dizzy."

She stopped and looked down at Tori on the couch, hands on her knees.

"You've had that thing for two weeks. Just open it."

Jade bit her lip and fingered the flap on the closed folder.

"Yes...NO...I mean I should...or I shouldn't...Tori tell me what to do!"

Tori witnessed several emotions play out in the space of six seconds.

"Whatever it is, we're going to love..."

Jade stiffened.

"IT? Oh no! That's an awful thing to call it."

She gasped, dropping the folder.

"Oh no! Now I'm doing it!"

Tori looked at her sympathetically and bent over to pick up the folder, which has now popped open from the fall. Its contents were spilled onto the carpet.

They both stare at the overturned paper. On the other side was the big reveal.

"Do you want me to look?" asked Tori.

Jade hugged her little belly, moving in a circle until finally sitting on the couch beside her wife.

"Yes?"

Tori raised an eyebrow and turned the paper around.

"Oh my God!"

Jade's eyes looked like they were gonna pop out of her skull.

"WHAT? WHAT?"

"They predict she'll be born on the last week of July. A Leo!"

"Tori be serio-"

The former Goth felt lightheaded.

"Did you say she?"

"Congrats, mama. It's a girl!"

Tears streamed down Jade's soft features and she cuddled with Tori. Jade was intense before but hormonal Jade was another animal.

Tori propped up some pillow behind her so she could recline and Jade could lean on her.

"I hope she has your eyes," said Tori.

"I hope she has your skin," sighed Jade. "It would be nice if she didn't have to worry about burnin' up like a pork chop at the beach."

Tori kissed her cheek.

"Now would a mini you be so bad?" Her face lit up. "Oh my god, for Halloween you two could be Morticia and Wednesday and I can be Gomez."

"Any excuse to wear a mustache. You've got a weird fetish, girl."

Jade lightly tapped Tori, indicating that she wanted to be up and needed help. She was still fiercely independent but laying down or getting up were challenges with the bowling ball under her increasingly pendulous boobs.

She would catch Tori sneaking a look and tease her that they're for the baby. Then Tori would pout and storm out of the room in defeat.

"You want to start decorating?" suggested Tori. "Maybe take you to some furniture stores tomorrow? Pick out some paint for the nursery..."

"No pink!"

"What?"

"I said, NO PINK!" Jade insisted.

(Oh God, there's that pout again.)

"Fine, fine, FINE! You can have some pink but I want black in there too! I want black AND pink!"

Tori intertwined their fingers.

"I'll play K-Pop in the delivery room if I have to."

Jade cricked her neck, prompting Tori to begin massaging her. The always sent Jade into melting like a pile of butter.

"So I guess Jordan and Nate as the godparents?"

"OBVI!" replied Jade.

"I just didn't want to assume..."

"Oh no," interrupted Jade. "Jordan already threatened us that if we don't make her godmother, baby's first Christmas is going to include a drum set."

"Then its settled," sighed Tori.

Jade closed her eyes, savoring Tori's hands working her sore muscles. She has been fantastic throughout this pregnancy so far. Jade felt very lucky to have found her at all and to have held on for this long.

"Hey Tori?"

"Mmm-mm?"

"I was thinking about...you know, names."

"Okay, what-cha got, wildcat?"

Jade blushed like a fool.

"Well before I found out what we were having, I was kicking around some names. If it was a boy the shortlist was Lucas, Alex, Liam..."

"Those are all nice picks," Tori said, kissing her ear.

That sent gooseflesh popping up all over.

"But a girl..." Jade mushed her lips together. "I kind of was settled on just one. And I hope you like it."

"What is it?"

Jade scooted away from Tori, much to her surprise, and faced her head on.

(Okay, this is serious Jade.)

"I forgive you for everything that happened last year. But I hope that you forgive me too. It wasn't fair that I just sandbagged you with that big of a news story. I promised that anything major we would talk about it first!"

"Baby," Tori smiled as she held Jade's face. "You can forgive me, bet your ass I can forgive you!"

Jade kissed her warmly.

"So what's the name?"

"If it was okay with you, I wanted to name her...Trina."

The mention of her name formed tears in those gorgeous brown eyes.

"No, Tori. I'm sorry!"

"I'm not sad," Tori sniffed. "I'm happy. These are happy tears."

"You don't mind?"

Tori hugged Jade tight.

"Mind? I think its a wonderful idea. One of your best."

"Well, I wasn't very nice to her back in the day. Didn't give her a chance, you know? I can feel like I'm burying the hatchet by keeping her memory going."

Tori didn't think she could love her wife more but here we are.

"Trina West-Vega," Tori said. "She's gonna be a firecracker."

"You think?"

Tori leaned her head on Jade's shoulder.

"What?" she chuckled.

"Nothing," Tori sighed. "Just you and me starting a family. Can you imagine if we went back and told this to our younger selves this?"

Jade snorted.

"They would NEVER believe us!"

Tori held up the accompanied ultrasound photos in front of them. Trina was growing nicely and should be healthy and (mostly) on schedule.

"Four more months," Jade said, getting teary-eyed.

"Four more months," Tori repeated as she clung to her miracle of a wife.

They didn't say much for a while but they harbored the same thought.

(I've never been so happy!)
