Ch 10
Minn-Erva followed the Skrulls down to Earth in a space pod. Yon-Rogg entered a pod, too, just as Carol caught up. She lit up her fists, preparing to fire, but Yon-Rogg dropped the ship, catching her by surprise. She turned on her helmet and held onto the pod tightly. Meanwhile, Minn-Erva started shooting at the Quadjet and Maria barely dodged the lasers while flying through the desert. Carol tried to shoot Yon-Rogg again, but she was sent backwards by his gauntlet. She fell down but flew back up. Meanwhile Minn-Erva continued to chase down the Skrulls, as the two spaceships entered a canyon. Maria evaded the lasers with ease and took a shortcut, allowing her to be in front of Minn-Erva's pod and take it out.
Then 3 Kree warships came in over Earth to bomb the Skrulls. All spaceships fired ballistic missiles towards Earth. Carol managed to catch one with her hands and, using her newly discovered power, threw it back, causing it to explode. The warships sent drones but Carol rammed through them before ramming through one of the Kree warships, taking it out in a huge fireball and the other 2 Kree warships retreated. As for Yon-Rogg, Carol kickstarted his crashed pod with a photon blast with a message that she was going to end the war.
Epilogue
Nick Fury was on his computer when Phil Coulson came in.
"Is it true that the Kree burned your eye out because you refused to give them the Tesseract?"
"I will neither confirm nor deny the facts of that story."
"Understood. We still haven't found the Tesseract."
"I think it'll turn up somewhere. Or one-woman security force is busy so we need more."
"More weapons?"
"More heroes."
"You think you'll find others like her?"
"We found her and we weren't even looking."
After Phil left, Fury gave the project a name: The Avengers.
