Warning: Getting lost
Summary: Rapunzel and her friends are lost in the mysterious Forest of No Return. To navigate the dangerous area, they must rely on the mysterious Adira. But can Adira be trusted?
The caravan stops at a dark forest of gray, decaying trees. Everyone gets out. A tree with a scary face greets them. "Looks like something out of a horror story." Kiera comments.
"ThAnK yOu FoR pOiNtInG tHaT oUt." Catalina comments.
Adira sits on top of the caravan. Arianna climbs on top of it with a silver sword with a black handle. Oh no! Adira thinks. "Look! Sunray! I'm not here to hurt you! I can help you!" She explains. Arianna drops her sword. "I can get you through the forest.". Why did she call her Sunray? Rapunzel wonders.
"Sunray?" She questions.
"I find it easier to call people by a defining characteristic instead of taking time to learn their names," Adira replies as she and Arianna climb down. "Sunray," She says as she points at Arianna. Arianna smiles. "Sundrop," She says as she points at Rapunzel. Rapunzel smiles. "Short hair," She says as she points at Cassandra. Cassandra smiles. "Hair stripe," She says as she points at Varian. Varian smiles.
"Earrings," She says as she points at Lance. Lance smiles. "Hook Foot," She says as she points at Hook Foot. That's my actual name! He thinks. "Hey! That's my actual name!" He protests. "Paintbrush," She says as she points at Sara. Sara smiles. "Braid," She says as she points at Natalia. Natalia smiles. "Red," She says as she points at Catalina. Catalina smiles. "Angry," She says as she points at Kiera. Kiera hisses. "And Fishskin." She says as she points at Eugene. What in Corona?! He thinks.
"What kind of name is that?!" He asks her.
"Nevermind. The important thing is I can get you through the deadly Forest of No Return." She dramatically whispers. Oh, great, some psycho lady's gonna take my position in the group. Eugene thinks.
"Adira, thank you, but I think I can navigate my group through the forest just fine." He tells her.
"But, the Forest of No Return constantly shifts and changes its shape. Which is why you need my map." She replies as she pulls out a pink cootie-catcher.
A ten-year-old Arianna, who wore a dress with a white top and braided hair, sat on a pink canopy bed in a pink room with a pink cootie-catcher in her lap. Arianna remembers. "A cootie-catcher!" She exclaims.
"It's also a map for the forest." Adira explains.
"Oh, com'on! Who do you trust more! This crazy psycho lady or me, your friend who you have known all your life!" Eugene exclaims. Definitely Adira. Cassandra thinks.
"Sorry, Eugene, but if Adira says she can guide us through a deadly forest, then we trust her." Cassandra explains. Eugene looks at the group. They nod. He sighs, annoyed.
Rapunzel, Arianna, Cassandra, Varian, Lance, Hook Foot, Natalia, Sara, Catalina, and Kiera are in the caravan. Adira sits on top of the caravan. Please be okay, Eugene. Rapunzel thinks. "I hope Eugene's okay.".
"Aww, sweetheart, sometimes men are just dumb. When I was ten, and Dad was 11 he broke his arm riding a seal, and I didn't talk to him for six months." Arianna comforts her. Rapunzel giggles.
They suddenly find themselves back at the entrance. What in Corona? They think. "What in Corona?!" Cassandra exclaims.
"The Forest of No Return constantly shifts shapes, so that's why I gave Eugene the map." Adira explains. "But, you have me so, you'll be okay.". They continue.
They come across giant orange and blue tye-dye tulips with bright green leaves.
"Woah…" Cassandra gasps. Suddenly, giant black spiders, Dertixits come out of the flowers and tie them up. Lance freezes.
Eugene is standing in the forest. I should have sucked up my pride. He thinks. Adira approaches him. "Adira, I'm sorry, I should have sucked up my pride." He apologies.
"I forgive you, Fishskin. I see the way you care for Sundrop." She replies. Stop calling me that! He thinks.
"Would you stop with the Fishskin, already!" He exclaims.
"Aww, but it's a compliment. Fishskin makes a wonderful glue. You are the glue that holds the group together.". He smiles. He looks at the map. It's inside out. He realizes.
"The map! It's inside out. I know where our friends are!" He declares. They jump through the green sinkhole on the ground.
Adira and Eugene arrive at the Dertixits. Eugene uses his silver sword to free Rapunzel. Adira uses her black rock sword to free Cassandra. Eugene frees Arianna. Adira frees Varian. Eugene frees Lance. Adira frees Hook Foot. Eugene frees Natalia. Adira frees Sara. Eugene frees Catalina. Adira frees Kiera.
"Eugene!" Rapunzel exclaims as she hugs him. They see the black rock trail. "Thanks, Adira!" They tell her as they walk out. "Thanks, Fishskin." Kiera teases Eugene.
"That's a compliment." He corrects her.
