Warning: Fire at the beginning
Summary: A fire breaks out and Arianna and Rapunzel are magically transformed into phenioxes
Everyone is sleeping on colorful mattresses outside of the caravan. A lantern tips over. It sets the grass on fire. Cassandra wakes up. She sniffs in smoke. "FIRE!" She screams. Eugene, Varian, Lance, Hook Foot, Natalia, Sara, Catalina, and Kiera wake up. They run out. Eugene, Varian, Lance, Hook Foot, Natalia, Sara, Catalina, Kiera, she thinks. Rapunzel and Mom didn't get out. She realizes. "RAPUNZEL! MOM!" She screams as she starts running back. No, you don't! Eugene thinks. He grabs her collar. She hugs Eugene and cries.
Rapunzel wakes up. She sees the flames around her. She shakes Arianna awake. Rapunzel picks Arianna up. They burn.
Yellow flames circle them. Rapunzel turns into a yellow and purple phoenix. Arianna turns into a yellow and pink phoenix. They look at themselves. We're alive! Rapunzel thinks. "We're alive!" She announces as she raises her wings. We're phoenixes! Arianna thinks.
"And even better: we're phoenixes!" Arianna announces as she raises her wings. "Woohoo!" She hollers as she spins.
Cassandra and Eugene see Rapunzel and Arianna. "Rapunzel! Mom! Is that you?!" Cassandra questions.
"Yes, Cassie," Arianna replies.
"And you're okay!?" Eugene questions.
"We're phoenixes!" Rapunzel announces. Cassandra and Eugene laugh, relieved.
"Life's been so unsatisfying
Look, suddenly, now we're flying"
Rapunzel sings as she flies up.
"Freewheeling from cloud to cloud to cloud"
Rapunzel sings as Arianna and her hop on the clouds.
"Wings spread and the sky below us
There's no one to stop or slow us"
Rapunzel sings as they fly forward.
"Pure freedom and everything's allowed"
Rapunzel sings as she spins.
"Down there
We know there's tons of burdens we must bear
Somewhere"
Rapunzel sings as Arianna and her fly around camp.
"But from up here
The world looks so small"
Rapunzel sings as she flies up. She looks at the caravan.
"And suddenly life seems so clear
And from up here
You coast past it all"
Rapunzel sings as Arianna and her glide around the clouds.
"The obstacles just disappear"
Rapunzel sings as she flies through a cloud.
"Never feel heavy or earthbound
No worries or doubts interfere"
Rapunzel sings as she spins.
"There's nothing but you looking down on the view from up here"
Rapunzel sings as she looks down at camp.
"Stretch out with the wind behind you"
Rapunzel sings as she helps Arianna stretch out her wings.
"Here we go"
Arianna sings as she flaps her wings.
"Float up, let the current find you"
Rapunzel sings as she flies up.
"Look out below"
Arianna falls. Rapunzel grabs her wing. "Mom, sorry, but you're a bird and can literally fly, so how are you falling?!" Rapunzel questions.
"Umm…" Arianna starts. I'm really clumsy. She thinks "... I'm just really clumsy?". They laugh.
"Keep climbing and sail from breeze to
Breeze"
Rapunzel sings as she glides through the clouds.
"Hey, wait up for me please!"
Arianna calls. Rapunzel stops, letting Arianna catch up to her.
"Head up to the stratospheres
With only the stars to steer us
Just think of the possibilities"
Rapunzel sings as they fly through layers of clouds up to the stars in space.
"I think I've got it!"
Arianna tells her.
"Below
We spend our whole lives trudging to and 'fro"
Rapunzel sings as they fly back to Earth.
"Now-"
Rapunzel starts.
"Woah!"
Arianna exclaims as she does a backflip.
"And from up here
The world looks so wide"
Rapunzel sings as she looks down.
"Yet every horizon seems near"
Arianna sings as she flies to the sun.
"And from up here
No path is denied"
Rapunzel sings as she flies along the black rock path.
"We choose which direction we veer"
Arianna sings as she flies beside her.
"And suddenly you can breathe easy"
Rapunzel sings as she flies ahead of Arianna.
"Contented"
Arianna sings as she flies ahead of Rapunzel.
"Carefree"
Rapunzel sings as she flies ahead of Arianna.
"Cavalier"
Arianna sings as she flies ahead of Rapunzel.
"Just gliding on through
Looking down on the view from up here"
Rapunzel sings as she flies ahead of Arianna.

The world is all yours"
They sing as they fly through layers of clouds up to the stars in space.
They fly back to Earth.
"Each mountain"
They sing as they fly past a purple, snow capped mountain.
"and meadow"
They sing as they fly through a green, grassy, meadow with red, orange, and purple wildflowers.
"and mere"
They sing as they fly above a lake.
"And from up here
Life's duties and chores
Are barely worth shedding a tear"
They sing as they fly around each other.
"And all of the sky lies before us
Straight up to the far stratosphere"
They sing as they fly through layers of clouds up to the stars in space.
"So head for the blue and let's take in the view from up here"
They sing as they fly back to Earth.
"It's just me and you looking down on the view from up here"
They sing as they fly around each other.
Suddenly, Arianna falls. "Mom!" Rapunzel exclaims. She flies after her. Arianna falls into the river. She turns back to herself. Rapunzel giggles. She dives into the river. She turns back to herself. Cassandra and Eugene run to them. Eugene hugs Rapunzel. Cassandra hugs Arianna.
"We should do that again!" Rapunzel announces.
Getting burned, I don't think so. Eugene thinks. Getting burned, I don't think so. Cassandra thinks.
"NO!" They jinx.
"Okay," Rapunzel and Arianna reply. They walk back to camp.
