Warnings: Storm and Eating something really spicy
Summary: A group of tiny islanders called the Lorbs believe that Pascal is their mystical ruler. While the chameleon enjoys the adulation, he has second thoughts when they expect him to protect them from a vicious monster.
The caravan is floating on the ocean with a purple, rubber bottom. Suddenly, it starts raining and a lightning bolt strikes the water, creating a wave that rocks the caravan. Everyone's tossed to the side. I don't want Mom to get hurt. Rapunzel thinks. She grabs Arianna. Rapunzel and Eugene hug her. She cuddles Rapunzel. Everyone's tossed around a few times before it finally stops because they're shipwrecked on Tirapai Island, a sandy island with palm trees.
They feel the caravan stop. They get out. They look around. A little orange leaf man, a Lorb named Leafy climbs on top of a nearby gray, shiny rock. Arianna! She's back! He thinks.
"Arianna! So happy to see your face again!" He thinks. A talking leaf! Rapunzel, Eugene, Cassandra, Varian, Lance, Hook Foot, Natalia, Sara, Catalina, and Kiera think. They scream.
"No, no, no, there are creatures called Lorbs here that look like talking leaves here," Arianna explains, patting her hands. She kneels and picks up Leafy.
"Arianna, you look young.".
"Chance encounter with light magic a few decades ago.".
"Details?". No Arianna thinks.
"You don't want to know.".
"Oh, how did things go with Frederic?".
"Married.". Arianna smiles.
"Good! How's Willow?". I don't know.
"Dunno, haven't heard from her in over a year. Probably having an adventure somewhere.".
"Edmund?". I don't know.
"Dunno, I haven't heard from him since I was 15.".
"Emilia?".
"She got sick and passed away when I was 10.".
"I'm sorry. How's Ulla?".
"Dunno, disappeared about 15 years ago.".
"Trevor?".
"He turned out to be a ding-dong and he and I are no longer on speaking terms.".
"Quirin?".
"He turned out to be a huge jerk and he and I are no longer on speaking terms.".
"Goth-". I can't let the other's know that I was friends with Gothel. She picks up Leafy.
"Listen, Leafy. She turned out to be a horrible person and I no longer talk about her anymore!" She tells him.
"Okay! Sorry!".
Meanwhile, Pascal is crawling on a plant. He slips off lands on one of Rapunzel's wooden sun stamps, which stamps a sun design on his stomach.
He crawls to the village. Our leader! Leafy thinks. "Our leader has returned!" He announces. Red, orange, and yellow Lorbs pick Pascal up. They parade him around.
Pascal is sitting on the leaf. Leafy comes up to him. "Pascal, come with me." He tells him.
They go to a purple stone cave. A painting of Pascal standing over a giant firefly with a red body is on the wall. "You will defeat the tuk-tuk." Leafy tells him. What have I gotten myself into? Pascal thinks.
Meanwhile, Rapunzel, who is now wearing a skinny, green ombre dress with a white lining and a pink island flower in her hair, is looking at the giant yellow bamboo tree house she just built with the other girls. Cassandra, who's wearing a white tee shirt with brown pants that stop at her knees, is standing beside her. Arianna, who's wearing a skinny, pink dress with green flower petal-shaped columns, is standing on the other side of her. Natalia, who's wearing an aqua ombre dress with a white lining with a row of blue dolphins at the bottom, is sitting in her wheelchair on the other side of her. Sara, who's wearing a yellow ombre dress with a white lining at the bottom, is standing on the other side of her. Kiera and Catalina are standing on the other side of her. "Pretty nice tree house if I do say so myself." Cassandra says. The others smile.
I'm hungry. Rapunzel thinks. She sees a bush of red peppers. She goes over and picks one. I wouldn't eat that. Cassandra thinks. "Rapunzel, I wouldn't..." She starts. Rapunzel takes a bite of it. Her mouth burns and waters. She screams. And now we need water. Arianna thinks.
She runs inside the treehouse. The inside of the treehouse is yellow bamboo. There is a yellow bamboo pump-sink and counters and cabinets. She goes over to the cabinets. She opens one up, grabs a small glass, then closes it. She fills up the glass by pumping the sink.
She runs out. She gives the glass to Rapunzel. Rapunzel drinks it. Her mouth cools.
"Thanks, Mom." Rapunzel tells Arianna.
"You're welcome." She replies.
Meanwhile, in the Lorb Village, the tuk-tuk appears. The Lorbs run and scream. Oh, curd. Pascal thinks.
He runs to the treehouse. Rapunzel sees him. "Hey, buddy, what's up?" She asks him. The tuk-tuk appears. It breathes fire. Oh, okay. She thinks. She saw a bush of red peppers. She went over and picked one. She took a bite of it. Her mouth burned and watered. She remembers. "It ate the red peppers!" She announces. She goes over to the ocean. "Overgrown dragonfly! Come here!". The tuk-tuk flies over. It drinks the water. It stops breathing fire.
"Three cheers for Pascal!" Leafy announces. The Lorbs pick Pascal up. They parade him around.
