Warnings: Kidnapping at the end and mention of theft

Summary: Hook Foot ends up falling for a beautiful mermaid but does not realize that the mermaid has ulterior motives.

It is night. Hook Foot is at the edge of the beach. A heavyweight mermaid with black hair wearing a green sand dollar hair clip, dark green eyes, purple eyeshadows, eyeliner, pink lipstick, a beauty mark, a pink tattoo on her right shoulder, a magenta sports bra, and a green tail with darker markings, Seraphina sits on a gray rock in the ocean. Hook Foot gasps. "I'm Seraphina, what's your name?" She asks him in a western accent.

"Hoo... Hook Foo… Foot." He stammers. She flutters her eyes. Ahh, he thinks.

In the morning, Hook Foot is clipping his toenails with a crab. Rapunzel comes out from the bushes. She sees him. Eww! That's so gross! She thinks. She smiles nervously. I can't let the others know I have a date tonight! Hook Foot thinks. He runs away.

Cassandra waves a silver sword with a black handle in the sand. She hears something squeaking. She goes and pushes the bushes back. Hook Foot is cleaning his teeth with a small stick. Eww! That's so gross! She thinks. She smiles nervously. I can't let the others know I have a date tonight! Hook Foot thinks. He runs away.

Arianna, Varian, Natalia, Sara, Catalina, and Kiera are side-sitting around a sandcastle. It needs shells. Arianna thinks. "I'm going to get shells." She announces. She tries to get up but, she falls. "Why can't you get up when you're side-sitting?". She rolls over on her stomach and gets up. She goes over to the ocean. She sees Hook Foot gathering shells. I can't let the others know I have a date tonight! Hook Foot thinks. He runs away.

Eugene and Lance are walking on the beach. They see Hook Foot spin. I can't let the others know I have a date tonight! Hook Foot thinks. He runs away.

Rapunzel, Eugene, Arianna, Cassandra, Varian, Lance, Natalia, Sara, Catalina, and Kiera are in the treehouse. "There's something about Hook Foot." Arianna announces. The others nod. Eugene and I could go investigate. Rapunzel thinks.

"Eugene and I could go investigate." She suggests. Eugene nods.

Rapunzel and Eugene walk up to Hook Foot. "Hey, Hook, the others and us have noticed that you haven't been acting like yourself lately." Rapunzel tells him. Oh, fiddlesticks, now I have to tell them. Hook Foot thinks.

"I have a date tonight.". Oh fun! Rapunzel thinks.

"That sounds like fun.".

"She's a mermaid.". Oh, okay, Rapunzel thinks. Oh, okay, Eugene thinks.

Everyone is at the beach. Seraphina sits on a gray rock in the ocean. "Everyone, this is my girlfriend, Seraphina." Hook Foot introduces her as he extends his arms to the side towards her. Everyone goes to her. Something about her gives me bad vibes. But, I won't tell anyone so I don't hurt Hook Foot's feelings. Arianna thinks. Seraphina sees Arianna.

"Hey, girl," She tells her. Arianna waves a little and smiles.

"That's Ari, she has autism." Hook Foot explains.

"Oh!".

Seraphina sits on a gray rock in a small lagoon in front of a waterfall. Hook Foot is sitting beside her. Rapunzel and Eugene are behind them. "Love is hard work." Eugene tells Hook Foot.

"It doesn't have to be." Rapunzel tells Hook Foot.

"Flatter her." Eugene tells Hook Foot.

"Say what's on your mind." Rapunzel tells Hook Foot.

"Be proper." Eugene tells Hook Foot.

"Be yourself." Rapunzel tells Hook Foot. Would they stop? Seraphina thinks.

"HEY! WOULD YOU STOP!" Seraphina yells.

"Sorry." They reply.

Suddenly, giant blue monsters with eyes like ice lighter fins on their heads and forearms, light blue chests and bellies, dark blue belts with white spikes crossing their chests and bellies, dark blue legs, and light blue feet and hands, Water Goblins jump out of the ocean.

Eugene hits it on the head with a black, cast-iron frying pan. Arianna smacks it with her book on the back of his head. Cassandra punches it. Varian throws down a pink ball. Pink smoke covers the area. Lance grabs it by the arms, pulls them behind it, and trips it with his foot. One gets up. One gets up and approaches Sara. She waves the brown wooden paintbrush she is holding in front of her. A puff of rainbow sparkles appears and pushes it back. One gets up and grabs Kiera, and she drops to the ground and sweeps her legs under it, planting her hands under her for support. One gets up and grabs Catalina. She punches it. One gets up. Natalia kicks it. One falls.

Hook Foot picks up Seraphina and begins to run. "Hookie, wait." She tells him. He stops.

"They're here for me. I stole a priceless pearl from the kingdom. I thought that if I fell for you, I could escape." She explains. She used me! He thinks.

"You used me!".

"At first, it was like that. But, then I fell for you.". He hugs her. Two goblins pick her up by the arms. His eyes water.

In the morning, Hook Foot sits on the beach looking out on the ocean. Rapunzel and Eugene walk up to him.

"How are you doing, Hook?" He asks him.

"I really miss her already." He replies.

The tide comes in. Thousands of blue, shiny rocks, Mermaid Tears; wash up on shore. "Mermaid Tears! They must be from Seraphina!" Kiera exclaims. Arianna picks one up and looks out on the ocean.
