Jacen had loaned Omega a small ship. There was a twinge of worry in his eyes when he had lent it to her, but she didn't care. All she cared about was hurting the people who murdered her brothers. Omega climbed into the ship and input the coordinates for Anaxes into the navi-computer. It was a short trip, and when she got there she landed the ship just outside the Imperial base.
This was where she should make a plan, and be strategic, but Omega's need for revenge was blinding her. She picked up her blaster and knife and crept around to the edge of the base. From behind a cluster of rocks, Omega stunned the guard. She then set a charge on the corner of the building. Next, she snuck onto the base, using inlets in its architecture to keep hidden from the troopers. She made her way through the base setting charges. On her last one, someone spotted her. Taking her blaster off stun, she fired at the trooper- there was no use in being quiet now.
A trooper tackled her from behind and she struggled under his weight. She was able to jam her knife into his torso and roll him off of her. She then ran as fast as she could, making for the exit. Suddenly, a burning sensation caught her in the side. She kept running, not being able to stop and check how badly she had been hit. Once she had cleared the entrance, she clicked the button and set off the charges. The base exploded behind her, taking the rest of the troopers with it.
Back on the ship, Omega used the med kit to stitch up where a blaster had grazed her, not even bothering to numb the area first. Without the backup of her brothers, Omega realized she needed to become a much better fighter if she was going to be successful in the future.
When she arrived back on Onderon, she used credits she had stolen from the Imperial base to buy her own ship. She then left the borrowed one at Jacen's camp without seeing him. They seemed like good people, it was better if they didn't get mixed up with her. She had always been an optimist, but after losing her brothers it was as if that light had been sucked out of her. All that was left was a growing darkness. She flew far into the jungle part of Onderon and landed the ship. She had been watching soldiers train for battle all her life, and Hunter had started teaching her self-defense. So she set to work training herself, motivated by her anger.
After months alone, save a few supply runs, Omega headed to Raxus. The planet had a strong Imperial presence with many bases. The now highly-trained assassin destroyed three bases with ease. Back on her ship, Omega was patching up her many cuts and bruises when an emergency broadcast came on. The hologram was a blurry picture of Omega in her helmet from one of the security cameras on the base she had most recently destroyed.
"An insurgent has mercilessly attacked the glorious Empire." the broadcast said, "If you see anything regarding this fugitive please report it to the authorities." Then the hologram showed an injured trooper who said,
"That was no ordinary insurgent." he said gasping from his injuries, "she was a blasted huntress". The name immediately stuck. Every piece of news regarding Omega now called her The Huntress.
