"Casey, time to wake up, it's your first day of pre-school so let's get breakfast." Jupiter told her making the three year old female anxious, she had been dreading this day since Rocket had enrolled her into pre-school at Avengers Campus despite Rocket saying she'd be okay despite her powers spurting out being connected to her powerful emotions stretching getting out of bed, getting dressed in her signature outfit after putting tail-armour on then going downstairs smelling breakfast scampering into there sitting down seeing Gamora, Herbert and Rocket there, as Rocket hugged her knowing today was a big day for his sister noticijg she was nervous about her first day.
"Maybe some Groot Morning pancakes and orange-juice might change your mood, plus your big brother was like this on his first day of pre-school but your mom also had you that day, so I helped him feel better about that and being a big brother." Herbert told her, setting a plate of pancakes with orange-juice in front of her seeing her digging in after adding condiments making Jupiter grin knowing she'd give her class something to talk about making Gamora giggle as Rocket fed her some getting maple syrup on Gamora's lips which Herbert found cute.
She's perfect for my prince and her father was the Mad Titan, Thanos even though she doesn't like talking about that along with Rocket however, she makes him so happy plus Casey likes being around her.
"Everything okay, Herbie." Jupiter asked her husband seeing him nodding while drinking coffee making Rocket chuckle noticing his dad had been staring atvGamora.
"He just thinks what you're doing is cute." Casey told them relieving Herbert as she was going to get dressed makijg Rocket chuckle knowing she'd do okay once she made a friend seeing Jupiter agreeing, seeing Casey returning with her backpack wearing her signature hooded top with khaki-green shorts which made her tail feel comfortable taking deep-breaths to calm her anxiety feeling Jupiter hug her and kiss her furry lil heas.
"Good luck honey, we know you'll have a good day." Herbert told her seeing Rocket leaving with her as he was leaving noticing she was quiet guessing she felt nervous squeezing her tiny paw ijto a fist which had a power-band on her furry wrist as they helped her focus her many powers so she couldn't cause damage or hurt anybody which her brother understood approaching Avengers Campus seeing lots of kids running around in the playground which made Casey more anxious until she felt somebody tap her shoulder, noticing a female-cub her age wearing a kimono with rose-pink shades makijg Rocket guess who that cub's father was.
"Konnichiwa I'm Yoko, it's my first day too, are you feeling scared." she told Casey seeing her nod.
"Uh-huh it is, my name's Casey and my hrother is the vice-dean." she replied to her shyly.
"Awww my lil sapling is makijg her firstvfriend, so corking." Rocket heard a familar voice say turning around smirking seeing Rocke there guessing he'd let Yoko come to school here seeing him hug him making both Casey and Yoko giggle just as the bell rang seeing them cover their ears not likijg the sound making both youngsters relieved after it finished ringing following the rest of their class inside while Rocke was heading to the kindergarten room being the teacher while Rocket was heading to his office seeing Billy and Tommy there sighing.
Meanwhile Casey was in awe entering the pre-school classroom with Yoko as it was warm and inviting wondering if Rocket went to pre-school here scrunching up her nose in thought not realising her new friend had seen this wondering what she was doing bringing her out of her thoughts confused.
"Ohhhh sorry Yoko, I was just wondering, if my big brother went to school here too." she admitted making her get it.
"He probably did, youcan ask him later." she told her sitting on the rug with the other kids listening to the teacher talking getting the kids to introduce themselves making Casey nervous, hearing Yoko introducing herself hearing the kids impressed but Casey just told the teacher to go on feeling Yoko squeeze her paw in reassurance as the teacher went on relieving the female-cub hoping her mom and Herbert were okay at home making Yoko understanding knowing her daddy was the kindergarten teacher impressing Casey that if her friend missed her dad, he was not far away.
"You think she's doing okay at school, Herbie." Jupiter asked as she and Herbert were having tea and scones as it was mid morning having their morning-snack and were thinking about Casey at pre-school knowing Rocket had probably helped make her feel better about her first day of school and maybe she'd make a friend which would add to Casey having a good day seeing Gamora nodding knowing her furboy was always tired coming home.
"She'll be fine guys, she seems as brave as Rocket." she will tell you guys later when she comes home with Rockie." Gamora reassured them seeing Herbert nodding but Jupiter quiet.
It was now the end of the day and the end of her first day of pre-school but Casey was feelijg better now she'd met Yoko along with her teacher being nice seeing Yoko was on the playground-equipment realising her best-friend's dad being a teacher like how her big brother was the vice-deanso she had to wait until he was finished before they could go home, guessing Yoko had to do the same grinning running over to the swings playing and having fun which made Rocket grin coming over surprising Casey.
"You're done already, that was fast and didn't take too long." Casey told him hearing him laugh realising tomher, time ran differently but playing with Yoko had made her forget about waiting for him so would explain it to her, making her wonder something because she didn'tvwant to leave her new friend behind which Rocket got.
"She'll be okay as her daddy is almost done, cleaning up the kindergarten room, plus our mom and dad will wanna hear about your day." Rocket reassured her hugging her as they left after Casey hugged Yoko.
After coming home, Jupiter and Herbert saw Rocket flop onto the couch but Casey hugged their parents relieving them listening to her telling them about her day going to have tea and scones wanting to have some for Rocket to make him feel better after a lomg day which Gamora found sweet, knowing she'd been right about Casey doing good on her first day of school forva lil Celestial making a curious yet confused look on her furry face.
"Ummm, what's that mean, being a Celestial." she asked making Jupiter and Herbert giggle along with Gamora at her question making her feel a lil stupid for asking such a question.
"Celestials are what Terrans call us, beings from space who live here but we're gods and goddesses we just don't let it go to ohr heads or turn into jerks." Herbert explained making her eyes widen in awe making them giggle.
"That's so cool, wait until I tell Yoko, is she one too." Casey asked.
"Sort of honey." Rocket told her seeing her grin.
