"Alright it snowed, meaning December and Grootmas is here, maybe I should have some snow fun before mom, dad, Lylla and Rocket wake up hehehe." a young voice said softly looking out her bedroom-window which was frosted over making her grin.
It belonged to Casey Raccoon who happened to be Rocket's sister plus it was the first of December so snow being here signalled the beginning of the holidays, hoping the rest of the family weren't awake yet sneaking out of the house catching snowflajes on her tongue giggling but making a snow raccoon grinning knowing Rocket would love it when he saw it, humming to herself hoping that the adults wouldn't be mad that she'd snuck out.
"Casey Tessula Raccoon, what're you doing outside." she heard a voice say making the female-cub stunned hearing Rocket chuckling, hiding behind his sister's snow raccoon making Casey giggle as she hit him with a snowball making him chuckle returning fire laughing unaware Jupiter and Herbert were watching this from their bedroom window chuckling seeing Jupiter flying out the window landing on her furry feet making both Casey and Rocket stop their antics.
"Okay guys it's time to come in and eat as you have school." she told them.
"Coming mom." they said making Jupiter grin going inside their house seeing Herbert there noticing his mate ran to the bathroom using her super-speed power to get there making Rocket sense what was happening along with Lylla making Casey confused.
"A surprise is growing inside her, but you'll love it." Herbert told her seeing her eating GrootvMorning pancakes grinning along with Rocket who was drinking coffee to wake himself up knowing a lot of kids would have a major snowball war at recess seeing her dressed in her signature attire seeing her mom putva beanie hat on her furry head wrappingva scarf arouhd her neck saying it was cold out seeing Rocket wearing an orange beanie hat with a purple coat before leaving the house.
Casey was excitable walking to school, catching snowflakes on her tongue making Rocket chuckle at this as they arrived at Avengers Campus seeing her hug his armoured leg before joining Yoko and her classmates goijg inside as he headed to his office hoping Casey would have a good day and probably do holiday things smirking at that thought.
Un class, Casey listened as the teacher told them they were doing something for the holiday oageant which madecthe other kids were excited about but Casey wasn't hiding it from then which made Yoko get it.
"Everything will becalright Casey." she reassured her as the recess bell rang relievihg her as she went to play in the snow giggling throwing snowballs at other cubs.
"Casey, everything okay, you've been real quiet." Jupiter asked at dinner that night as she, Herbert, Lylla and Rocket had talked about their day which Casey hadn't paid attention to which surprised them, plus Jupiter had announced she was with cub making Rocket surprised and Lylla happybfor them guessing that was what was bothering her shaking her furry head relieving Jupiter.
"How about we have some fun." Rocket told her as he had a game controller Making a smirk cross Casey's furrybface grabbing the other controller making Herbert chuckle knowing antics were about to ensueseeing Casey noddingvdoijg running commentary as they were playing Sonic All Stars Racing which Lylla found entertaining watching joining in the commentary making Casey giggle as she was still getting used to the female-otter which Rocket was helping with.
"That's a good thing as we just take our time with new members of our family but guess you're not scared of your new brother or sister, eh." Rocket told her seeing Casey nodding crossing the finish line getting excited making Rocket chuckle seeing Lylla grab the controller from him grinning, seeing Rocket excited as he was normally the champion so knew Lylla might be competetion for them seeing Caseybsmirk.
"Let's do this, Ms Lylla." she said sounding like Rocket which made Lylla giggle.
"I'm not going east on you, sis." Lylla told heras they were playing with Rocket doing the running commentary impressing Casey at his commentary seeing Lylla won congratulate her, knowing she was learning this in pre-school relieving Rocket that Caseybwas being calm about losing seeing Jupiter in awe about that knowing that in the past, Casey used to get upset when they played games so was liking that she was learning to be good about not winning making a bedtime snack for everybody especially Casey to get her sleepy for school in the morning so she could do the next door of her advent-calendar which made her excitable about that.
"I'm glad you're excited about your brother or sister, as we're gonna have fun when he or she arrives." Jupiter said to Casey while tucking her ijto bed but telling herva story which was relieving her ijto sleep feeling her mom kiss her furry lil head seeing her out like a light putting her nightlight on, leaving her room joining Herbert in their room telling Herbert that Casey was asleep getting ijto bed beside him kissing him.
The nextvmorning, Casey was awake and getting ready for school impressing Rocket that she was ready for school as Jupiter asked him to check on Casey seeing her nodding her going downstairs seeing Herbert join them awake putting a cup of coffee in front ofvRocket seeing Casey pouring herself a bowl of her favourite cereal as some mornings, they didn't have Groot Morning pancakes which Rocket had explained to her and she understood but was being quiet knowing they were going to be working on their play confiding in herbig brother about it.
"Awwww you'll be okay, as it's just for fun and cute, the bigger kids are the ones who should be worrying." he told her which made her feel a bit better Feelingbetter as they were leaving for school after putting their dishes in the sink impressing Jupiter they'd had breakfast and just left knowing thijgs would go okay forcCasey today knowing she was nervous about something so glad she was feeling good about it.
"That's good that Rockie helped her feel better, about the play." Lylla told her.
