"Jeez you guys never learn." A young man surrounded by the unconscious bodies of Delinquents who were trying to beat him up, but his martial arts skills prevented that.
He looks like Yugi Moto from Yu-Gi-Oh with some differences. He has emerald, green eyes with both pupils being slitted like a dragon and the right eye's pupil is red instead of black and the left eye's pupil is dark blue instead of black. His hair has the blond locks' colors changed to dark blue, the red is more like Rias Gremory's (from High School DxD) shade of red, and the black is changed to emerald, green. His canine teeth are like Natsu Dragneel's (from Fairy Tail) teeth and he wears a green tank top shirt with a green Asian Dragon clutching the Power Ranger's symbol in its front claws, black pants, and a pair of green and black shoes.
This is Ryu Hirohito a 16-year-old young man who was nicknamed the Green Dragon Emperor due to his name, personality, and his tendency to wear green colored clothes with dragons on them.
After getting home he goes into his bedroom and looks at his collection of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toys. He was a big fan of the original Ranger team, but Tommy was his favorite Ranger and tries to be like him. He has a Gold Power Morpher with the Dragon Power Coin, the Dragon Dagger, the Dragonzord, a Mighty Morphin Green Ranger V1 figure, a Blade Blaster, a Wrist Communicator Tommy Oliver edition, an Anti-Sonic Foam Gun but green and has the Dragon Coin symbol on it instead of the Triceratops symbol, A green Dragonzord based Battle Bike, a Green Power Crystal, a Thunder Slinger, a Mirror Shield but green and has the Dragon Coin symbol on it instead of the Triceratops symbol, Fire Extinguisher, a Green Ribbon weapon, the Sword of Power, the Sword of Darkness, Mega Heater, Green Ninja Ranger costume with the Dragon Coin symbol, a green Shark Cycle, Mighty Morphin Green Ranger V1 Metallic Armor figure, and finally he has a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie Power Morpher being green and has a second Dragon Coin in it, Mighty Morphin Green Ranger V2 figure, and Mighty Morphin Green Ranger V2 Metallic Armor figure.
As you can tell he really loves the color green. How he got some of these toys and costume when they don't exist you ask? Well, there was a contest where people answer various questions about Power Rangers. While Mighty Morphin is Number 1 for Ryu he kept up with the other Ranger teams and as a result he won. For his prize he was able to ask for the toys and the costume that didn't exist.
The toys were created and given to Ryu personally making them a one-of-a-kind and Ryu was the only one who owns them.
"Man I love my collection." Ryu said as he places the Wrist Communicator on his left wrist before he frowns sadly.
"Still can't believe that Jason David Frank is dead." Ryu said sadly which was the reason why he was trying to collect the other stuff used by Tommy. Suddenly a green flash of light appears knocking Ryu out and taking him and everything, he owns with him.
(Void)
"Where am I and what happened?" Ryu questions as he wakes up and see he was in a white void.
"I can answer that." A familiar male voice said from behind him causing him to spin around in surprise.
"No way!? Jason David Frank!?" Ryu said in shock as the voice was the Legendary Actor himself.
"Wait am I dead!?" Ryu questions in shock and dread.
"No you're not and I'm not Jason David Frank." The Jason David Frank lookalike said.
"Then? No that can't be could it?" Ryu questions. "Dr. Tommy Oliver?"
"That's right kiddo. I am Dr. Tommy Oliver." Dr. O said honestly. "Thanks for remembering the Dr. part."
"I am honored to meet you." Ryu said bowing a bit as that felt right in the moment.
"Please there is no need to bow to me." Dr. Oliver said sheepishly.
"O-ok." Ryu said as he started scratching his cheek as he was nervous.
"So, what is going on?" Ryu asks in confusion as he had a feeling that this was not a normal dream
"You see Ryu there are some new powerful enemies and unfortunately the original Power Rangers are not available to deal with them, so it was decided to find people who have knowledge of our universe and have good hearts and morals to become new Rangers. Some will take over some of the teams like Turbo and the Supersonic Rangers, some will become new Extra Rangers of some of the teams like Jungle Fury, and finally completely new teams of Rangers will be created." Dr. Oliver said with a serious tone and look.
"Let me guess because the original Rangers have new responsibilities now the time that will be needed to take them down would be too much time away for them, right?" Ryu asks knowing that was most likely the answer.
"That is correct. Good guess." Dr. Oliver said.
"It was the obvious answer since most of the Rangers were in high school when they became Rangers and some of the newer ones are probably still in high school. Not to mention that the older ones most likely have jobs like you do and have children and/or about to have them now." Ryu said.
"True. Now I'm pretty sure you know what team you're going to be a part of, right?" Dr. Oliver asks.
"Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zeo, Turbo, or Dino Thunder because you're here, right?" Ryu asks as that was the four teams Tommy was a part of.
"Those are some good guesses. To be exact you are the new Mighty Morphin Green Ranger." Dr. Oliver said.
"Are you serious!?" Ryu yells excitedly with a big smile.
"I am." Dr. Oliver said chuckling at Ryu's excitement.
"It's amazing that I'm the new Mighty Morphin Green Ranger." Ryu said smiling. "So, what's going to happen to me now?"
"You are being summoned to a new world with similarities to your world but its filled with different supernatural beings and creatures from various myths, legends, and the Bible." Dr. Oliver explains.
"Are you serious?" Ryu asks as he was caught off guard by what Dr. Oliver said about a world filled with beings and creatures from various myths, legends, and the Bible.
"Yes I am. In this new world you are going to both God and Lucifer are dead and there are three factions that are at the head of your time as a Ranger." Dr. Oliver said.
"Wait both God and Lucifer are dead?" Ryu said caught off guard as he was a Christian and finding out that God of that world is dead hits him hard.
"Yes but don't worry the God of your world is still alive." Dr. Oliver reassures him.
"That's good." Ryu said relived. "So what are the three factions?"
"The Angels, the Devils, and the Fallen Angels. They look like humans, but they do have wings and powers." Dr. Oliver explains.
"Now the Devils have a low birth rate, so they use something called Evil Pieces to reincarnate other species into Devils. The Evil Pieces, also known as the Devil's Pieces, are a set of 15 chess pieces given to High-class Devils to increase their ranks by reincarnating other beings into Devils." Dr. Oliver said.
"Chess pieces?" Ryu questions.
"Based on the game of chess, there are a total of 15 pieces being 1 Queen, 2 Rooks, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, and 8 Pawns that are given to High-class Devils who are the King with a peerage. These pieces are used to reincarnate other beings into Devils and become servants of the High-class Devil. The reincarnation abilities of the Evil Pieces, however, are not absolute as they cannot reincarnate Gods/Buddhas and Dragon God into Devils even with a Mutation Piece. The recipients they're used on still retains features and abilities exclusive from their previous race. " Dr. Oliver said as a hologram of the pieces appeared.
"Mutation pieces?" Ryu questions.
"Mutation Pieces is said to be a bug in the Evil Pieces system that was kept for fun. If reviving a person requires more than one piece, then using one Mutation Piece would be sufficient in reincarnating that person instead of having to use several pieces. Mutation Pieces can be a Queen, Rook, Knight, Bishop, or Pawn. They are said to be very rare, and only 1 out of 10 Devils possess the Piece. Normal Evil Pieces can also change into Mutation Pieces. This typically occurs as a result of some significant event of the reincarnated devil." Dr. Oliver explains.
"Interesting." Ryu said as he was curious about them.
"The Evil Pieces can reincarnate those who died recently, or anyone still living who chooses to be reincarnated willingly. Likewise, Evil Pieces can also be used on Pure Devils in servitude to their chosen masters to enhanced their own abilities. The strengths, talents, and skills of the being to be reincarnated plays a large role in determining how many pieces will be used for reincarnation. Different Evil Pieces cannot be used together. Evil Pieces can also be exchanged between high-class Devils with peerages. Each Evil Piece also grants the person unique abilities." Dr. Oliver said next.
"Unique abilities?" Ryu asks.
"Pawns which are worth 1 Pawn each. The traits of Pawns is the ability to promote into a Queen, Rook, Knight, or Bishop in enemy territory or with the permission of their King.
Bishops are worth 3 Pawns. Bishops gain enhanced demonic power and magical abilities which they can use to conjure up a multitude of spells (offensive, healing, etc.). However, more powerful spells consume most of their demonic and magical powers, which takes a long time to regain, forcing them to use their power carefully or risk becoming vulnerable to physical attacks.
Knights are worth 3 Pawns. Knights gain increased speed and mobility, enabling them to perform high-speed attacks and maneuvers. However, their main weakness is their low defense, making them vulnerable to powerful attacks if they are not careful. Another weakness among knights are their legs; if their legs are injured, their mobility is greatly reduced.
Rooks are worth 5 Pawns. Rooks gain superhuman strength, leading to high offense and defense. However, they are not very quick, and can get beaten easily by a high-speed opponent.
Finally to top it off Queens are worth 9 Pawns. Queens possess all the characteristics of Rooks, Knights, and Bishops, making them the most balanced piece as well as the most powerful. Within individual peerages, Queens typically act as their master's second-in-command, overseeing the rest of the peerage. Dr. Oliver explains.
"Wow so the Queens and Pawns are the ones I should be careful of the most if I face off against a Devil. But I shouldn't underestimate the other pieces as well." Ryu said with a thoughtful look causing Dr. Oliver to nod in approval.
"That's right. Now another feature installed in the Evil Pieces are the Unused Evil Pieces, which will undergo changes according to the master's growth, allowing the King to use less pieces when reincarnating other beings into Devils. For example if a Devil reincarnates someone using four Pawns and later on they have gotten stronger and meets someone who is the same strength as the person they used four Pawns was, but they only had to use two pawns." Dr. Oliver explains.
"I get it." Ryu said before Dr. Oliver gets another serious look.
"I don't know if you will have to deal with them but there are King pieces." Dr. Oliver said.
"King pieces?" Ryu asks caught off guard.
"King pieces are rare pieces created in the early days of the Rating Games. Unlike the other pieces which grant special abilities, the King Piece simply boosts a person's power. However, the King piece's strengthening is anywhere from 10 to 100 times and more. There are restrictions to its use. One, the user cannot already have an Evil Piece(s) because the King piece would overlap with their current piece(s) and expose them to dangers. Two, the user can potentially die if they are too strong. There are only nine unused King Pieces in existence, but they were banned by the current government from use for fear that Devils would use it to pursue evil desires." Dr. Oliver said.
"Man these King Pieces are insane." Ryu said with a frown not wanting to face someone with the power of a King Piece.
"Yeah they are. That's why you are getting these to help you." Dr. Oliver said as a green box with the Dragon Power Coin symbol on it appears in front of Ryu floating in the air. Ryu opens the box and sees.
"Checker pieces?" Ryu said as he see checker pieces made out of green crystals.
"These Checker Pieces are called the Ranger Pieces. Like the Evil Pieces you can reincarnate those who died recently, or anyone still living who chooses to be reincarnated willingly. They will not be converted into humans but instead they will still be their original race. Also 1 Piece can be used on 1 being without having to use more. Like the Queen Piece the person gains the same abilities, and the Ranger Pieces can evolve into a King Piece like in the game which grants a person a boost in power as well as a new ability, but it is random on what power you get. There are 24 Ranger Pieces, but you have to use one on yourself first before you can go into the new world." Dr. Oliver explains as Ryu picks one up and looks at it. It looks like each side has the Dragon Power Coin symbol on them.
"The Ranger Pieces also grants you an unlimited hammerspace, 10% resistance to all elements plus gravity, your senses are given a boost, so they are twice as better but for species and people that already have it they don't receive it, enhanced lung capacity, wingless flight, and extended lifespan and you keep your youth longer like the Devils." Dr. Oliver said pausing for a minute. "You can mentally talk to people that has your Ranger piece and the King Pieces doubles your resistances."
"Wow that's a lot of stuff." Ryu said with his head spinning a bit.
"Oh, before I forget. You will be using the original Green Ranger suit but when you evolve your Ranger Piece to King status your suit will eventually evolve after that but I'm not sure when." Dr. Oliver said. "When the suit evolves your Ranger powers will evolve too as well as the Dragonzord."
"Awesome. Anything else I need to worry about when I get there?" Ryu asks.
"There are other mythologies that are real there so be careful. When you leave you will be teleported to the basement of your new house/Command Center there you will be meeting someone interesting as well as everything you need to legally exist in that world plus supplies." Dr. Oliver said.
"Interesting?" Ryu questions.
"You'll find out when you get there." Dr. Oliver said with a mysterious grin causing Ryu to sigh.
"Fine. So, is that it?" Ryu asks.
"Yes, that's it. Ready to go?" Dr. Oliver asks.
"Yeah I am." Ryu said as he presses the Ranger Piece against his chest causing it to go into him granting him new powers.
"Good luck young Ranger and may the Power protect you." Dr. Oliver said before Ryu disappears in a flash of green light.
(Kuoh Town, Ryu's new house/Command Center)
"Man, so this is my new home." Ryu comments as he looks around the place. The basement looks like the inside of the Original Command Center minus the Zordon Tube and some advanced earth computers.
"That's correct Master Ryu." A synthesized female voice said causing him to look towards who said. His eyes widen in shock at the appearance of the one who talked.
"No way! Zeta!" Ryu said in shock as Zeta was a robot, he designed using the head of the Alpha series combined with a Zaku horn on top, the arms of the RX-78-2 Gundam, and the backpack of the ZGMF-1000 Hospital ZAKU Warrior containing a pocket dimension of tiny medical robots. While the head was gold her eyes were green with the red on the Redbot body changed to green.
"That's right Master Ryu." Zeta said as she bows to her design creator.
"Please don't bow to me." Ryu said embarrassed. "And please don't call me Master. Just Ryu."
"Understood Ryu." Zeta said as she moves up from her bow. "I will now explain the Command Center and its various functions."
"Like with the Original Command Center we have a viewing globe and the ability to identity monsters as well as the various beings that exist in this world." Zeta said pointing to the Viewing Globe.
"Over here is a Power Coin Creator." Zeta said as she shows Ryu a machine.
"By choosing an animal and color a Power Coin can be made by inputting the choices into one of the computers." Zeta explains by pointing at the computers. "When the Coin is made a Power Morpher is also made as well."
"However, it does take a couple weeks to make 1 Coin and only one can be made at a time so choose carefully." Zeta warns him. "You must design the suit and weapon as well."
"Got it. What about Zords?" Ryu asks.
"That is a bit more complicated. It takes a month to make a Zord, but you also need to choose the design, color, and how it combines into a Megazord or transforms into a Megazord by itself." Zeta said. "Again, only one can be made one at a time."
"You said I can only make 1 at a time so can I do 1 for now and then can I input a Coin and Zord to be done after the first Coin and Zord is done?" Ryu asks.
"Unfortunately, you cannot put in commands for a new Power Coin and Zord until the current ones are done." Zeta said disappointing Ryu.
"That suck." Ryu said.
"You can still do a Coin and Zord now." Zeta said trying to cheer Ryu up.
"That's true." Ryu said as he walks to the computer and thinks about what to make.
"A Dire Wolf version of the Sabertooth Tiger Dinozord so the Dragonzord can go into Battle Mode later on. Silver for the main coloring. I'll put some gold markings on it and make the eyes green." Ryu said as the computer shows the Zord he was designing.
"Next a Dire Wolf Power Coin with Silver being the Ranger's color. Use the Mighty Morphin' Yellow Ranger's suit for the base. Change the yellow into silver and the white into gold." Ryu said as an image of a snarling Dire Wolf on a Power Coin and the recolored Ranger Suit appears.
"For the helmet I'll use the Wild Force Lunar Wolf Ranger's helmet and change the red eyes to green and the blue on top into gold." Ryu said as the helmet goes onto the suit.
"Finally, the weapon." Ryu said as he thinks about it for a bit.
"I got it! A crossbow." Ryu said as a crossbow appears. He made the body silver with the bow being gold. He inputs the name of the weapon which is the Power Crossbow.
"There. I'll add an ability to combine with the Dragon Dagger by placing it on top of it." Ryu said as he types that in. He then hits Enter completing the designs.
"The designs have been received." Zeta said. "Starting Creation."
"So, what's next?" Ryu asks.
"Follow me." Zeta said as they walk into a room. It was a big empty room with a control station (Like in Red Vs. Blue where the Reds and Tucker face Beta Tex).
"This is the Training Room. By using the Control Station or by voice command if you are down here you can create a holographic environment as well as even objects, animals, people, and even monsters. You can set the level of difficulty at Level 1 or all the way to Level 10." Zeta explains causing Ryu to whistle impressed by the Training Room. "Level 1 is the easiest while Level 10 is the hardest."
"We also have a medical room that can handle up to 10 people, but it can be upgraded to handle more people later on if need be, but it will take time." Zeta said.
"Nice. So, when will I be going to school?" Ryu asks.
"Next week's Monday. Today is Sunday so you have 8 days to prepare since it's the start of the new school year. The name of the school is Kuoh Academy and you'll be entering the school as a 2nd year." Zeta explains.
"Thanks." Ryu said before a thought comes to him. "Can I try the Training Room?"
"Yes. What level will you do it on?" Zeta asks.
"Level 1 for now. Need to learn how to walk before learning to run." Ryu said. "Plus working my way up should kill some time."
"Very well Ryu." Zeta said. "I will head up into the Control Room and start the preparations."
"Great! In that case I'll go ahead and Morph." Ryu said with an excited smile as Zeta does as she said she was going to do.

"It's Morphin Time!" Ryu shouts out as he reaches into his hammerspace and brings out the Power Morpher containing the Dragon Power Coin with his right hand.
"Dragonzord, Green Ranger Power!" Ryu shouts out while doing some arm movements before holding the Morpher with both of his hands with his left palm on the bottom of it. He then thrusts it forward in front of himself as he turns the device upside down, and pushes a red switch located on the right side of the Power Morpher as its pops open in the center causing green lighting to appear around the Power Coin.
(Morphing Sequence)
The background changes to a rocky wasteland as Ryu was standing there, as he moved his arms down to his sides before two bolts of green lightning hits the ground behind him and destroying it upon impact. Then the lightning travels toward the ground at which forms his Ranger suit from his neck to feet with green sparks of electricity slightly dancing around his body. To finish the transformation off the helmet appears in front of his face as it then turns into green energy before forming around his head to complete the transformation.

Ryu was now the Mighty Morphin Green Ranger (Original version) with a slight difference. He has a second holster on the right side of his waist holding a Blade Blaster in it.
"Mighty Morphin Green Ranger!" The Mighty Morphin Green Ranger shouts while striking a pose causing an explosion to happened behind him expelling green smoke.
I came up with this idea a while back and decided to get the 1st chapter done because of JDF's death. We had lost a good man and legend and the world is the poorer for it. In his honor I will try to get this fanfic updated as much as possible. Oh in my Yu-Gi-Oh Card Designs I did make some cards in the honor of JDF called the Green-Eyes Archetype. Please check it out when you guys get a chance too. I will also create more Green-Eyes cards.
