After I got done catching up in study hall I stood up from the table. I made my way over to Severus and handed him my book. Severus slipped a note in between my fingers. I smiled and made my way out of the great hall. I looked around the hall to see if anybody was around. I opened the note:

tower tonight after curfew.

I smiled and wondered what he had planned. How am I going to get there without getting caught? I noticed Harry walking out of the great hall without Ron. Perfect timing. I walked up to Harry, "Hey Harry," I said.

"Hi, Skylar," he said.

"Thank you for the tip with the egg," I smiled.

"You're welcome," he said, "even though you are Slytherin. We still need to beat the other schools so might as well work as a team."

I nodded, "For sure."

"Is there anything you need?" Harry seemed confused about why I was still standing there.

"Could I borrow your invisibility cloak?"

"What do you need it for?" He asked.

"Just doing some investigating," I said, "and need to be invisible when I do it. You see I'm going into the restricted section."

"Oh," he paused, "nice, I will go and grab it for you," he said while turning on his heel and going toward the Gryffindor common room.

I smiled. I waited for Harry to come back with the cloak. Severus walked out of the great hall and walked towards me. "I will see you in detention tonight, Miss. Simmons," he said in a monotone voice, "what time, Professor?" I asked.

"Around 9 pm," he said as Harry ran up to me, "here you go," he said handing me the cloak and slightly looking up at the intimidating Severus Snape. "Professor," Harry said while looking back at me and then at Severus. "Move along, Potter," Severus snapped. Harry scurried away and I looked up at Severus. Really?

"I like to watch him squirm," Severus said, "see you tonight," he whispered. He turned on his heel and made his way out of the hallway.

Severus Snape

"Are you and Miss. Simmons back to normal?" I turned around to see Minvera looking at me. "Define normal," I said saying no emotion.

"I take that as a yes," Minvera stated, "you seem less flustered, Severus. You look like you have relaxed."

Well, one I got laid, and two we are back to normal. But I wasn't going to tell her that. "Yes," I said, "may I get back to my duties?"

She nodded, I turned around and walked to the potions class.

Minvera's POV-

I was excited because I knew everything would be back to normal if we gave it some time. I made my way to Dumbledore's office. "Sherbet Lemon," I said and the gargoyle leaped aside leaving the staircase open to walk up.

"Ah Minvera," Dumbledore said while dancing away like he usually does. "What do I owe this pleasure?"

"I'm going to win the bet, Albus," I smiled.

"No way," he said while stopping his dancing.

"Yes way, Albus," I smiled, holding out my hand and waiting for my galleons.

"Not until I see it myself," he said with a smile.

"You'll see," she said, "just watch them at the Yule Ball. You should've seen them at dance class."

"You had Severus do the dance class with you?" Albus chuckled.

"Yes, and I made him dance with Miss. Simmons," I said.

"He must've loved that," Albus said.

"Oh, he was not. He was sending me death glares throughout the whole dance lesson. Well, when he wasn't looking deeply into Miss. Simmons eyes," I smiled.

"I love gossip," he said all giddy.

"I know you do, headmaster," I smiled.

Severus Snape-

Astronomy Tower - 8:30 pm

"Knock, knock," I turned around to see Skylar standing at the door. "You're early," I said with a big smile.

"I couldn't wait," I said, "I didn't want to get caught by the squib even if I did have Harry Potter's cloak."

"Oh, that is what he gave you," I said.

She nodded and made her way in. "So why are we doing detention up here?"

"I decided that we could spend time together. Like a date," I said while pulling her in and hugging her. "And I wanted to talk about the Yule Ball."

Skylar Simmons

After I got Harry's cloak I made my way back to my dorm to put it away. "Hey, Skylar," I turned around to see Draco standing in my doorway. "Hey," I said with a smile.

"Guess who has a date to the Yule Ball?" Draco said while swinging his body back and forth.

"Does my best friend Draco have a date?" I said with a smile.

"Yes I do," he said.

"Who with?" I asked.

"I would much rather go with a dude," he whispered, "but would you Skylar Simmons go to the Yule Ball with me?" He asked while getting down on one knee.

I giggled, "Seriously? I thought someone asked you."

"I would ask someone else but I decided since you and Severus wouldn't be able to go together. You might as well go with me."

"I like it," I said, "but I'm not going to kiss you."

"Not even a cow kiss?" He asked.

"Only for you boo," I said.

"Mum sent a dress for you," he said while grabbing something from outside the door. "Does she not know what happened between Lucius and me?" I asked.

"Yes she does," he sighed, "but I think she is looking past that because father is a git."

I nodded, "you have no idea."

"I do not want to know," Draco said while putting his hand up. "Don't make me gag."

"Well let me see what she got me," I said while holding up my hand. Draco put the box in my hand and I went to sit on the bed.
