Recap:

Severus Snape-

Astronomy Tower - 8:30 pm

"Knock, knock," I turned around to see Skylar standing at the door. "You're early," I said with a big smile.

"I couldn't wait," I said, "I didn't want to get caught by the squib even if I did have Harry Potter's cloak."

"Oh, that is what he gave you," I said.

She nodded and made her way in. "So why are we doing detention up here?"

"I decided that we could spend time together. Like a date," I said while pulling her in and hugging her. "And I wanted to talk about the Yule Ball," I paused, "I know we can't go together but I figured we would make our own Yule Ball," I said with a smile, "Has anyone asked you?"

"Draco did," she said.

My eyes narrowed at her response, "He said since he can't go with who he wants and I can't go with whom I want," she smiled.

"Good, I am happy to know that Viktor Krum didn't ask you," I said.

"I only have eyes for one man," she said.

"Whom?" I said with a smirk.

She lightly pushed my shoulder, "You silly."

I grabbed her waist and pulled her in for a kiss. Her lips tasted of strawberries. "One moment," I said while putting up one finger. She nodded and I made my way around the corner. I grabbed the music box I found in my basement at Spinners End. I also found some muggle music that was in the basement. I walked back around and saw Skylar smiling. I put the music box on the ground and put some music tapes into the box. I turned on the music and walked over to her. "Will you do me the pleasure of dancing?" I asked while sticking my hand out. "Yes," she smiled and grabbed my hand.

I pulled her in close and she wrapped her arms around my neck. "I love you," I whispered.

"You don't have to whisper," she smiled.

"I love you to the moon and back," I said louder than my usual tone.

She smiled and kissed me on the cheek. "I love you to the moon and back, Severus Tobias Snape."

I smiled. I have never felt so complete in my life.

She has made me feel things more than anyone has ever. I thought I loved Lily Evans, but this was different. I felt like I could tell her anything and be more myself. For Lily. I felt like I had to change myself and that isn't me. I wanted her to be able to read my thoughts. I wanted her to know I was always thinking about her.

"Can I teach you Legilimens?" I asked her while pulling her hand into my hand. "If you want to," she said.

"Yes I do," I said, "if I didn't want to I wouldn't ask."

She smiled, "You know how to dance well."

"Practice," I said, "and when I am on break I go dancing."

"No way," she smiled, "Severus Snape goes dancing?"

(A/N: West coast swing look it up if you don't know)

"Shh," I said, "Don't tell anyone."

Skylar Simmons

"There is no way you go dancing," I said.

"I like to try new things," he said with a smile and spun me around. "Whoa," I said.

"Just like hacky sack?" I smirked, "would you want to try more of hacky sack?"

He rolled his eyes, "I can't believe you did that. Do you know how much trouble we would both be in if Dumbledore caught us?" Severus said.

"How much trouble do you think you will be in now?" We both turned around to see Dumbledore standing there watching us. Severus let go of me and I stepped away. "It's not what you think, headmaster," I said.

"It looks to me that I have lost the bet between Minvera and me," Dumbledore said.

Severus and I both gave him confused looks. "You see, Minvera said you two would get back together before the Yule Ball."

"We aren't together," Severus started to say but was cut off by Dumbledore. "I may be old, Severus," he paused, "but I'm not stupid."

Severus cleared his throat, "We are together, headmaster," Severus said.

"Oh good," Dumbledore smiled, "off I go pip, pip," Dumbledore started to walk away but came back, "be careful you two," he said with a wink and made his way out.

I looked over at Severus who was more in shock than I was. "Can't keep secrets from that man," Severus snapped his fingers. Severus walked over to me and gave me a big kiss on the lips. "Your mine," he growled.
