TW boys kissing + intimate touching, build up to sexual intercourse, dubious consent
Billy tossed and turned all night long in his bed across the cabin from his father's. He tried to be as quiet as possible, but the old wooden beds creaked with every move. His father continued to snore through it all. Billy, no matter how hard he tried, he could not fall asleep. He even did mathematical equations in his head. Every other equation he thought of turned into Jason's face as he leaned in to kiss him, and then he could practically feel the other boy's arms around him, and suddenly Billy was back to turning over in bed and trying to will his heated body to relax.
He greatly wished he had a way to contact Jason. At least, a way that Jason approved of. He still found it odd that he didn't want Billy using his communicator. At least he avoided questions from his father by not using his device.
Soon, Billy found himself falling into small, fitful bouts of sleep. It wasn't a deep enough sleep to truly be restful by any means, but it was better than nothing at all. A sudden weight hitting his legs woke him abruptly from his light slumber, causing him to jump up and fall out of bed, the covers twisted around his legs.
The sound of laughter quickly filled his ears. He saw his father leaning on a support pole between their beds, wearing a jacket, a hat, and holding fishing poles in his hand. Billy looked over to the bed to see that it was a tackle box that had landed on him. Lawrence must have tossed it onto him as a way to wake him up.
"Were you planning to sleep all day?" Lawrence asked him through his laughing fit. He had already been up, eaten breakfast, and prepped his fishing poles and the boy hadn't even moved. That wasn't normally Billy's morning behavior. He was normally up earlier than Lawrence, even over the last few days of vacation.
Billy grumbled and groaned as he pulled himself back up onto the bed. He could feel his hair was a mess and his whole body ached for more rest. Clearing his throat, he answered, "That's not a bad idea, Father. My body seemed to have rejected its natural nocturnal state."
Lawrence kept his smile as he walked over to pick up his tacklebox. "Well, bub, if you want to stay cabin-bound today, feel free. I plan to be at the lake all day!" He figured the boy could use some distance after several days glued together. Billy was a rather private kid after all.
Billy nodded slowly, mind still foggy. "Okay, dad. I think I'll just stay here for today." He wondered briefly if there was a chance of Jason visiting him again. That seemed to alert his system into wanting to get up, but he knew he should stay put until his father had left.
"Okay, if you say so," Lawrence accepted, making his way toward the door. "Just make sure you get some fresh air today - sit by the fire, go for a walk, do something other than sit here." And with that he left, Billy calling out an agreement as he shut the door.
He started to lay back onto the bed when the door opened again. His father popped his head in and called out, "Oh, and there is some coffee in the kettle!" And then the door shut without waiting for a response.
Coffee sounded amazing right about now. With that as motivation, he tossed himself out of bed, threw on a pair of jeans and a blue button up over his white undershirt, ran a come through his hair, and quickly made his way over to the kettle kept by some of the other electronics they had brought. Once he had acquired his cup, he made his way toward the small table in the cabin.
He began to think of last night's interaction and how good it felt to be kissed by Jason. It almost felt like a dream. Maybe he really did need to go lie down some more. Why would Jason kiss him? Had he truly said he loved him? Maybe Billy going away for a few days made Jason go crazy, just like they always joked he would without his brainiac. They used to say that it would be impossible to separate the two of them without hell freezing over. Well, hell had frozen over and it would seem that Jason couldn't handle the cold.
Or had Billy imagined it all and it was actually he who couldn't handle the cold? He was half convinced that it was all in his head. It was all some nightmarish, wet-dream fantasy he concocted overnight. He should read through his books today, maybe even work on some Zord schematics, anything to keep his mind off his handsome best friend he seems to have become obsessive over.
"Hey, Billy."
And in just a split moment of sound breaking through the silence, Billy jumped, spilling some hot coffee onto his shirt in the process. He cried out in surprise and pain, having fully convinced himself Jason's appearance wasn't real. Yet, here he was, in the flesh, breaking into Billy's cabin as quietly and naturally as the night itself had been believed to be.
Before the genius could even register what was happening, Jason had closed the distance between them, pulled his hot, soiled shirt off of him and picked up the, thankfully, still intact coffee mug. The cool air of the cabin hit Billy's bare skin and he realized how close Jason was standing, and that he was actually here and in front of him, not a figment of his imagination. The pinkish burn on his skin was testament to that.
Finally, after a moment of silence, Billy stated, "Jason." Dumb. Idiot. Loser. What kind of genius can't come up with a better greeting? Hi? Nope.
As quickly as he appeared, Jason's radiant smile shined brightly. Billy felt like he could pass out. The red ranger solved that potential problem by wrapping his arms around Billy and placing a chaste kiss upon his lips. This did nothing to ease the state of panic that had befallen Billy. His face lit up as bright as red as the other boy's ranger suit.
Jason let go and stepped back. "I'm sorry if I overstepped. I saw you get hurt and I – I didn't think of what I was doing."
"No, it's okay! No need to be sorry." Billy felt the words explode from his mouth. His brain to mouth connection must certainly be faulty. Most definitely from lack of sleep. And absolutely because of Jason himself. "I – I didn't sleep well last night, so I, uh, I guess I'm just a bit… jumpy." He stated lamely. Jason stepped forward again, more cautiously. He watched Billy closely as he did so. Billy tried so hard to relax, but he just felt so anxious around Jason, which is far from normal.
"I wanted to explain myself." Jason began slowly, eyes never leaving Billy as he spoke. "Do you have the time today?"
Billy nodded and then began to look for a shirt to put on, very aware of his body being exposed. He answered, "Today is actually the perfect time for it. My dad will be fishing all day and I told him I would be staying at the cabin."
A smile very unlike Jason graced his features, just for a moment. He then seemed to realize Billy was going to put a new shirt on and spoke up, "No need to cover up on my behalf! I – I like the view." He smirked flirtatiously, causing Billy's face to once again resemble a fire hydrant.
He began to stammer, "I, uh, I – I, uh, okay." He then led the way toward his bed and sat down, motioning for Jason to join him. It was the best spot as far as sitting options were. There were fold out chairs next to the small table, but those weren't great for long term sitting. And Billy's head felt like a helium balloon. He felt he would be better off on a mostly comfortable bed versus a flimsy chair.
Sitting down, Jason was very close to Billy. The boys' knees were touching as they sat partly cross legged and facing one another. Jason continued to stare intently at Billy, eyes briefly flickering down his chest, and the genius, being so occupied with relaxing himself, did not notice, and was unconsciously crossing his arms over his chest and just generally failing to seem relaxed.
"I knew I had to come and see you when I realized what had happened at the youth center." Jason began slowly, eyes not leaving the blond. At the mention of the "incident" – that is, Bulk's insulting him and bringing to light his sexuality – his eyes fell down, as though to shield his shame from Jason. The older boy leaned forward and lifted Billy's chin gently as he continued, "I've known you for so long. We've spent so much time together and I never even realized."
Billy looked at him questioningly, a blush creeping across his face at the contact and closeness of the two. The two boys had always been close and Jason, being the epitome of physical touch, was always touching Billy and the others, be it a clap on the back, a side hug, a full on hug, pushing them around while laughing, etc. He was always so touchy. This was different.
"I didn't realize that you felt the same way that I do." Jason said, dark eyes never leaving light blue. "I fell for you before I even knew what love was. I think it was actually Bulk's words that helped me realize the truth. He called me your boyfriend and, well, I realized I wanted to be just that."
Billy's mouth fell open in shock, so much information clouding his usually clear brain. Jason wanted to be his boyfriend? He wanted to be with him? "You – you – you want –"
"I want you, Billy."
Without letting him finish, keeping all clear thought from his mind, Jason leaned over Billy, pushing him down onto the mattress. He kissed him hard and took several seconds before removing himself. Billy was breathing heavily once they parted.
Billy's face was flushed and lips swollen slightly, and the look of utter love, trust, and adoration on his face almost caused Jason to lose control. It was a dream come true, just as he had intended for it to be.
Gently, Jason traced Billy's chest with his hand, causing the genius to shiver, despite the heat between them. His voice was deep as he spoke, "I was jealous of Skull. He was your first friend in Angel Grove. I was angry with him for hurting you. You deserved better than that, and I vowed to be that for you. When Bulk became the big brute he is now, I knew that I would do everything in my power to keep you safe. When we became rangers, I was determined to see you safe, to see you become a fighter. But even still, it was on me if something were to happen to you."
Billy held the hand Jason wasn't touching his chest with, attention holding onto every word of his leader. Jason wasn't typically an emotional kind of person. He supposed he would be like this too, though, if he were the one professing his love.
"You mean so much to me, Billy." Jason's voice was heavy with emotion. He leaned in to kiss Billy again, that almost familiar shock running through the blue ranger at the contact. "Will you be mine?"
There was so much in that question. The team dynamic, their circle of friends, their relationships with their families, and so much else would change. He would change. Billy knew that Jason was seeking the physical alongside the emotional. Was he ready for that? Immediately, he thought, for Jason, he would be. He wants to be. He felt as though he had to be.
"Jase, are you sure?"
Jason smiled darkly, almost hungrily, "For once, Billy, I wish you would just act and not think so much. That brain will get you into trouble some day." With that, he kissed Billy again, harsh, needy, and desperate for a response. He pulled back, foreheads still close, their breath mingling. Their hearts seemed to beat louder than any sound from the outdoors around them.
Quickly, blocking all thoughts, Billy tilted his head to kiss Jason sweetly, but hungrily, hoping to share that same lust he could feel within Jason. He answered, voice broken, thick with desire, "I'm yours."
