Chapter One: First Warning
"Hey Alexis wake up!" A voice shouts revealing to be Cooper as he goes inside his house while Alexis is in her bed trying to sleep.
"Let me sleep Cooper." Alexis says sleepily as she yawns.
"Oh come on. You've already missed singing for the day. As well as missed the birth of Tiny Diamond." Cooper says as he goes over and nudges Alexis trying to get her to get up.
"Cooper we sing and dance almost all the time regardless of what time of day it is. I'm exhausted so please let me sleep. I'll sing and play later. I'll also personally congratulate Guy Diamond later." Alexis says stubbornly.
"You know you'd be more wide awake if you wouldn't go running at night." Cooper says as Alexis looks at him not amused.
"Not gonna happen. You know good and well why I do that." Alexis says as she lays her head back down.
"I know. You miss your birth parents and you've been talking with your adoptive parents through letters at night. Alright miss grouchy you win. I know when I'm beat. If you wanna sleep you can but in turn you have to play with me later. No matter the game." Cooper says as he smiles.
"Deal. Now let me sleep." Alexis says before the two hear a scream.
"What in the world was that!?" Cooper asks.
"I don't know but I'm definitely up now. Come on." Alexis says as she and Cooper run outside to see what is going on and see Branch trying to calm down Poppy's dad Peppy.
"Okay. I'm calm. I'm calm." Peppy says as he stands up.
"What is that thing?" Cooper whispers as he sees a creature with wings on the ground.
"It's called a bat." Alexis whispers as she looks at the creature.
"A bat?" Cooper whispers.
"Dad what's going on?" Poppy asks as she looks at Peppy.
"Well I have long feared this day would come. I was hoping to protect you and your sister Alexis from this Poppy." Peppy says as he looks at Poppy.
"Protect us? I'm not a little kid anymore dad. I'm the Queen now." Poppy says as she smiles.
"Yeah. And I'm not defenseless either dad." Alexis says.
"You're right. The truth is we are not alone in this world. There are other kinds of trolls." Peppy says.
"Wow. Dad that's great. The more trolls the merrier." Poppy says happily.
"You don't understand. These other trolls aren't like us. They're different." Peppy says.
"Different how? Different like Legsley? Or different like Alexis?" Poppy asks as she names people off.
"No it's not that. They're different in ways you can't even imagine. We dance and sing with music that makes you want to get up and move. That's what makes up Pop Trolls." Peppy says.
"That explains the name of the village." Alexis thinks to herself.
"But these other trolls they sing different. They dance different. Why some of them can't even begin to grasps the concept of Hammer Time! How about we break down to a smaller group?" Peppy asks as he sees the other trolls freaking out.
